Abstract
Description
Color-variable glossy film
[0001] The present invention relates to a color-variable glossy film, and more particularly, to a color-variable glossy film that can display various colors depending on the viewing angle and has excellent durability.
[0002] Surface protection films have been used to protect and decorate the surfaces of automobiles, electrical appliance housings, furniture, building materials, etc.
[0003] Glossy films are used as surface protection films. These glossy films can be printed on the surface and have various colors and patterns through special processing, effectively maintaining gloss. However, these glossy films have relatively weak physical properties, such as elasticity and tensile strength, making them susceptible to damage even from minor impacts.
[0004] In addition, most conventional glossy films are composed of only one color or pattern, which not only does not sufficiently satisfy the diverse needs of consumers, but also has the disadvantage of easily becoming tired of them when used for a long period of time.
[0005] The present invention has been proposed to solve the above problems, and provides a color-variable glossy film that can satisfy various needs of consumers by having a pattern printing layer having a pattern groove on a base film as well as a plurality of multi-color printing layers, so that the color appears different depending on the viewing angle.
[0006] Another object of the present invention is to provide a color-variable glossy film with excellent durability.
[0007] In order to achieve the above object, a color-variable glossy film according to the present invention comprises: a sheet-shaped base film (100); a color-printed layer (200) formed on an upper surface of the base film (100); a pattern-printed layer (300) formed on an upper surface of the color-printed layer (200) and having a plurality of pattern grooves (310); a pattern-groove printed layer (400) printed so as to fill the inside of the pattern grooves (310); and an auxiliary color portion (900) formed on an upper surface of the pattern-printed layer (300), wherein the auxiliary color portion (900) includes an auxiliary color-printed layer (800) that imparts color and gloss to the glossy film, and the color-printed layer (200), the pattern-printed layer (300), the pattern-groove printed layer (400), and the auxiliary color-printed layer (800) are characterized in that they have different refraction angles.
[0008] It is characterized in that a color printing layer (200) is additionally formed between the base film (100) and the pattern printing layer (300).
[0009] The above auxiliary color part (900) is characterized by being composed of an auxiliary film (700) and an auxiliary color printing layer (800) formed on the upper or lower surface of the auxiliary film (700).
[0010] It is characterized in that a primer layer (600) and an adhesive layer (650) are interposed between the pattern printing layer (300) and the auxiliary color portion (900).
[0011] The color printing layer (200) has a larger refraction angle than the pattern printing layer (300), the pattern printing layer (300) has a larger refraction angle than the pattern groove printing layer (400), and the pattern groove printing layer (400) has a larger refraction angle than the auxiliary color printing layer (800).
[0012] A number of protruding portions (312) are formed on the side wall of the above pattern home (310), and the protruding portions (312) are characterized by having a sawtooth shape.
[0013] A plurality of uneven portions (812) are formed on the surface of the auxiliary color portion (900), but the uneven portions (812) are formed in a portion that is not in a position corresponding vertically to the pattern groove (310).

[0017] Figures 2 to 10 are cross-sectional views of other embodiments of glossy films according to the present invention.
[0018] Fig. 11 is a photograph of a glossy film according to the present invention.
[0019] A color-variable glossy film according to the present invention comprises: a sheet-shaped base film (100); a color-printed layer (200) formed on an upper surface of the base film (100); a pattern-printed layer (300) formed on an upper surface of the color-printed layer (200) and having a plurality of pattern grooves (310); a pattern-groove printed layer (400) printed to fill the inside of the pattern grooves (310); and an auxiliary color portion (900) formed on an upper surface of the pattern-printed layer (300), wherein the auxiliary color portion (900) includes an auxiliary color-printed layer (800) that imparts color and gloss to the glossy film, and the color-printed layer (200), the pattern-printed layer (300), the pattern-groove printed layer (400), and the auxiliary color-printed layer (800) are characterized in that they have different refraction angles.
[0020] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.
[0021] Figure 1 is a cross-sectional view of a glossy film according to the present invention.
[0022] The glossy film according to the present invention changes color depending on the viewing angle, i.e., the viewing angle, and is applied to the surfaces of buildings, automobiles, furniture, home appliances, and mobile phones. That is, the film implements a wider variety of colors through a color printing layer, a pattern printing layer, a pattern groove printing layer, and an auxiliary color section, and not only ensures durability, but also allows for efficient viewing angle refraction and light reflection, thereby enabling a variety of color surfaces.
[0023]
[0024] That is, the glossy film according to the present invention includes, as shown in FIG. 1, a sheet-shaped base film (100); a color printing layer (200) formed on the upper surface of the base film (100); a pattern printing layer (300) formed on the upper surface of the color printing layer (200) and having a plurality of pattern grooves (310); a pattern groove printing layer (400) printed to fill the inside of the pattern grooves (310); and an auxiliary color portion (900) formed on the upper surface of the pattern printing layer (300), wherein the auxiliary color portion (900) includes an auxiliary color printing layer (800) that imparts color and gloss to the glossy film, and the color printing layer (200), the pattern printing layer (300), the pattern groove printing layer (400), and the auxiliary color printing layer (800) are characterized in that they have different refraction angles.
[0025]
[0026] The above base film (100) is composed of one of PET film, PC film, PP film, and PVC film, and may be transparent or colored.
[0027]
[0028] A color printing layer (200) is formed on the upper surface of the base film (100). The color printing layer (200) formed on the upper surface of the base film (100) has a different curvature angle and color from the pattern printing layer (300), pattern groove printing layer (400), and auxiliary color printing layer (800) sequentially formed on the upper surface, and the type of ink used is not limited. For example, transparent UV ink, color UV ink, and solvent ink can also be applied.
[0029]
[0030] A pattern printing layer (300) and a pattern groove printing layer (400) are formed on the upper surface of the color printing layer (200). That is, the pattern printing layer (300) has a plurality of pattern grooves (310), and the pattern groove printing layer (400) is printed inside the pattern grooves (310). The pattern printing layer (300) and the pattern grooves (310) are formed through a single printing process, and since this printing method is sufficiently known in the field to which this technology belongs, further description thereof is omitted. For example, transparent UV ink, color UV ink, and even solvent ink can be applied.
[0031] In addition, as shown in the above drawing 1, the pattern home (310) may be formed to have a cross-section in the shape of a 'V', but this is not necessarily limited thereto.
[0032] The above pattern grooves (310) are formed in multiple numbers in a widthwise direction, and the pattern groove printing layer (400) filled in the pattern grooves (310) is printed with a material having a different refraction angle from the pattern printing layer (300) and the color printing layer (200). For example, transparent UV ink, color UV ink, and even solvent ink can be applied.
[0033]
[0034] An auxiliary color portion (900) is formed on the upper surface of the pattern printing layer (300). The auxiliary color portion (900) is configured to include an auxiliary color printing layer (800) and has a different refraction angle from the color printing layer (200), the pattern printing layer (300), and the pattern groove printing layer (400). The auxiliary color printing layer (800) not only imparts color and gloss to the glossy film, but also has a different refraction angle from the color printing layer (200), the pattern printing layer (300), and the pattern groove printing layer (400), thereby enabling various color expressions depending on the viewing angle. At this time, the auxiliary color printing layer (800) can be printed with not only UV ink but also general ink and ink containing metal powder.
[0035] Accordingly, as shown in Fig. 1, when the viewing direction is perpendicular to the surface of the glossy film, the viewing angle is not refracted, so it appears in the original printed color, but when the viewing direction is inclined at an angle, the viewing angle is refracted several times, and interference occurs with the color of the pattern groove (310), so that expression in a different color becomes possible.
[0036]
[0037] In addition, in order to further improve its durability, the auxiliary color part (900) may be composed of only an auxiliary color printing layer (800) by printing ink on the pattern printing layer (300), as shown in FIG. 1, or may be composed of an auxiliary film (700) of at least one material selected from PET, PP, PVC, PC, and PMMA, and an auxiliary color printing layer (800) formed on the upper or lower surface of the auxiliary film (700), as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. When the auxiliary film (700) is further included, the pattern printing layer (300) and the pattern groove printing layer (400) can be protected more stably, thereby increasing durability.
[0038]
[0039] In addition, in order to prevent the auxiliary color portion (900) from being easily separated from the base film (100) and the pattern printing layer (300), it is more preferable that a primer layer (600) and an adhesive layer (650) are interposed between the auxiliary color portion (900) and the pattern printing layer (300), as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. That is, the auxiliary color portion (900) and the pattern printing layer (300) are joined by the primer layer (600) and the adhesive layer (650), and in this case, the durability of the film can be significantly increased.
[0040] The above adhesive layer (650) may be composed of one or more adhesives or pressure-sensitive adhesives selected from the group consisting of PVC, PVA, PVB, EVA, PAI, PP, PE, urethane, acrylic, rubber urea, phenol, silicone, alkyl resin, polyamide, polyide, and polyester. In addition, for stronger adhesive strength, a sulfone polyester and a melamine-formaldehyde resin may be used in a weight ratio of 1 to 10:1, but this is not necessarily limited thereto.
[0041] In addition, the primer layer (600) can be applied to all common ones to which this technology belongs, and is not limited thereto.
[0042]
[0043] The present invention expresses various colors through refraction in the color printing layer (200), the pattern printing layer (300), and the pattern groove printing layer (400) depending on the viewing angle, and the various colors of the glossy film are implemented more clearly through the auxiliary film color section (900).
[0044]
[0045] Meanwhile, the color printing layer (200) may be set to have a larger refraction angle than the pattern printing layer (300), the pattern printing layer (300) may be set to have a larger refraction angle than the pattern groove printing layer (400), and the pattern groove printing layer (400) may be set to have a larger refraction angle than the auxiliary color printing layer (800). If the structure is configured such that the refraction angle increases as it goes down, when the viewing angle is oblique, the refraction angle gradually increases while passing through each layer, so that when it reaches the base film (100), the viewing angle becomes almost horizontal, enabling a dark color surface that is almost black, and as the viewing angle approaches vertical, the expression of increasingly brighter and clearer colors becomes possible. In addition, almost no light is transmitted through each of these printing layers until it reaches the base film (100).
[0046]
[0047] In addition, the glossy film according to the present invention may additionally have a back printing layer (500) formed on the back surface of the base film (100), as illustrated in FIG. 6. At this time, the back printing layer (500) may have the same color as the pattern groove printing layer (400), or may have a different color from the pattern groove printing layer (400) depending on the designer's choice. However, it is preferable to have a different color for expressing various colors.
[0048] In this way, if a back printing layer (500) is additionally formed on the back surface of the base film (100), there is an advantage in that colors can be implemented in a more diverse manner according to the viewing angle of the glossy film.
[0049]
[0050] In addition, the glossy film according to the present invention can be configured to be irregularly refracted when the field of view passes through the pattern groove (310), as shown in FIG. 7.
[0051] For example, the glossy film according to the present invention may be provided with a plurality of uneven portions (312) on the side walls of the pattern grooves (310) formed on the upper surface of the pattern printing layer (300). When a plurality of uneven portions (312) are formed on the side walls of the pattern grooves (310) in this way, the field of view passing through the pattern groove printing layer (400) is irregularly refracted while passing through the side walls of the pattern grooves (310), and this refracting enables the expression of various colors and gloss.
[0052] At this time, the size and pattern of the uneven portion (312) can be selected in various ways according to various conditions such as the size of the pattern groove (310) and the inclination of the side wall of the pattern groove (310). For example, as shown in FIG. 8, the uneven portion (312) can have a sawtooth shape, in which case various refraction angles are formed depending on the viewing angle, and the irregularity increases, so that in the case of an oblique viewing angle, various colors can be implemented.
[0053]
[0054] In addition, as shown in FIG. 9, a plurality of uneven portions (812) are formed on the surface of the auxiliary color portion (900) (the surface of the auxiliary color printing layer (800) or the auxiliary film (700)), thereby inducing refraction. However, it is preferable that the uneven portions (812) formed on the auxiliary color portion (900) are formed in a position that is not vertically corresponding to the pattern groove (310). This is because, if each uneven portion (312) (812) is formed in a position corresponding vertically, it may be difficult to express a clear color even if it has a vertical viewing angle with the glossy film.
[0055]
[0056] Meanwhile, the glossy film of the present invention may not include the color printing layer (200), as shown in FIG. 10. If the color printing layer (200) is not included, the glossy film of the present invention includes a sheet-shaped base film (100); a pattern printing layer (300) formed on the upper surface of the base film (100) and having a plurality of pattern grooves (310); a pattern groove printing layer (400) printed to fill the inside of the pattern grooves (310); and an auxiliary color portion (900) formed on the upper surface of the pattern printing layer (300), wherein the auxiliary color portion (900) includes an auxiliary color printing layer (800), and the pattern printing layer (300), the pattern groove printing layer (400), and the auxiliary color printing layer (800) have different refraction angles.
[0057] That is, even without including the color printing layer (200), it is natural that various colors can be expressed through different curvature angles of the pattern printing layer (300), pattern groove printing layer (400), and auxiliary color printing layer (800).
[0058]
[0059] Fig. 11 is a photograph of a glossy film according to the present invention. The left is a photograph taken at a shooting angle close to vertical, and the right is a photograph taken at a shooting angle of about 45°. It can be seen that the color expression changes depending on the shooting angle.
[0060]
[0061] Hereinafter, a method for manufacturing a glossy film according to the present invention will be described.
[0062] When manufacturing a glossy film according to the present invention, a color printing layer (200) is first formed on the upper surface of a base film (100), and then a pattern printing layer (300) and a pattern groove (310) are formed.
[0063] At this time, the formation of the pattern groove (310) and the pattern printing layer (300) is performed by UV printing, and the printing method of the pattern printing layer (300) and the pattern groove (310) is not limited to the mold method and can be changed and applied in various ways.
[0064] When the printing of the pattern printing layer (300) and pattern groove (310) is completed, a pattern groove printing layer (400) is printed on the upper surface of the pattern printing layer (300) so that the pattern groove (310) is filled.
[0065] And, an auxiliary color part (900) is formed on the pattern home printing layer (400).
[0066] In addition, when the auxiliary color part (900) includes an auxiliary film (700), after the pattern printing layer (300) is formed, a primer is applied to form a primer layer (600), and then an adhesive or pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied to form an adhesive layer (650), after which the auxiliary color part (900) can be laminated.
[0067] Meanwhile, if a back printing layer (500) needs to be printed on the back surface of the base film (100), the back printing layer (500) printing process can be performed in the step of printing a color printing layer (200) on the upper surface of the base film (100).
[0068]

Furthermore, those skilled in the art will appreciate that numerous modifications and variations are possible without departing from the scope of the present invention.
