In addition, the surface surrounding the space between the front side and the back side may be defined as the side surface of the electronic device (200).
[0027] According to one embodiment, a pair of housings (210, 220) may include a first housing (210) and a second housing (220) that are foldably arranged relative to each other via at least one hinge structure (e.g., at least one of the hinge structures (320a, 320b, 320c) of FIG. 4). Here, the pair of housings (210, 220) are not limited to the shapes and combinations illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3, and may be implemented by other shapes or combinations or combinations of parts. According to one embodiment, the first housing (210) and the second housing (220) may be arranged on both sides with respect to a folding axis (A), and may have an overall symmetrical shape with respect to the folding axis (A). According to one embodiment, the first housing (210) and the second housing (220) may also be folded asymmetrically with respect to the folding axis (A). According to one embodiment, the angle or distance between the first housing (210) and the second housing (220) may be different depending on whether the electronic device (200) is in an unfolded state, a folded state, or an intermediate state (e.g., a state in which the angle between the first housing (210) and the second housing (220) is greater than 0 degrees in the unfolded state and less than 90 degrees in the folded state).
[0028] According to one embodiment, the first housing (210) may be connected to at least one hinge structure (e.g., at least one of the hinge structures (320a, 320b, 320c) of FIG. 4) in an unfolded state of the electronic device (200), and may include a first side member (213) arranged to face the front of the electronic device (200), a second side member (212) facing in an opposite direction to the first side member (211), or surrounding at least a portion of a first space between the first side member (211) and the second side member (212).
[0029] According to one embodiment, the second housing (220) may be connected to at least one hinge structure (e.g., at least one of the hinge structures (320a, 320b, 320c) of FIG. 4) in an unfolded state of the electronic device (200), and may include a third side member (221) arranged to face the front of the electronic device (200), a fourth side member (222) facing in an opposite direction to the third side member (221), or a second side member (223) surrounding at least a portion of a second space between the third side member (221) and the fourth side member (222).
[0030] According to one embodiment, the first side (211) may face substantially in the same direction as the third side (221) in an unfolded state and at least partially face the third side (221) in a folded state. According to one embodiment, the electronic device (200) may also include a recess (201) formed to accommodate the first display (230) through a structural combination of the first housing (210) and the second housing (220). According to one embodiment, the recess (201) may have substantially the same size as the first display (230) (a size in which the first display (230) can be seated without being folded or bent). According to one embodiment, the first housing (210) may include a first protective frame (213a) (e.g., a first decorative member, a first deco) that is coupled to (or includes) the first side member (213) when the first display (230) is viewed from above (e.g., in the z-axis) and overlaps an edge of the first display (230) when viewed in the x-axis direction, thereby covering the edge of the first display (230) so that it is not visible from the outside. According to one embodiment, the first protective frame (213a) may be formed integrally with the first side member (213).
[0031] According to one embodiment, the second housing (220) may include a second protective frame (223a) (e.g., a second decorative member, or a second deco) that is coupled to (or includes) the second side member (223) when the first display (230) is viewed from above (e.g., from the z-axis) and overlaps the edge of the first display (230) when viewed from the -x-axis, thereby covering the edge of the first display (230) so that it is not visible from the outside. According to one embodiment, the second protective frame (223a) may be formed integrally with the first side member (223). In one embodiment, the first protective frame (213a) and the second protective frame (223a) may be omitted.
[0032] According to one embodiment, the hinge housing (350) (e.g., hinge cover) may be disposed between the first housing (210) and the second housing (220) and may be disposed to cover a portion of at least one hinge structure (e.g., at least one of the hinge structures (320a, 320b, 320c) of FIG. 4) disposed in the hinge housing (350). According to one embodiment, the hinge housing (350) may be covered by a portion of the first housing (210) and the second housing (220), or at least a portion thereof may be exposed to the outside, depending on whether the electronic device (200) is in an unfolded state, a folded state, or an intermediate state. When the electronic device (200) is in an unfolded state, at least a portion of the hinge housing (350) may be covered by the first housing (210) and the second housing (220) and may not be substantially exposed. According to one embodiment, when the electronic device (200) is in a folded state, at least a portion of the hinge housing (350) may be exposed to the outside between the first housing (210) and the second housing (220). According to one embodiment, when the first housing (210) and the second housing (220) are in an intermediate state where they are folded with a certain angle, the hinge housing (350) may be at least partially exposed to the outside of the electronic device (200) between the first housing (210) and the second housing (220). The first region (230a), the second region (230b), and the folding region (230c) of the first display (230) may be arranged on the same plane and may be arranged to face substantially the same direction (e.g., the z-axis direction).
[0034] According to one embodiment, when the electronic device (200) is in a folded state (e.g., the state of FIG. 3), the first surface (211) of the first housing (210) and the third surface (221) of the second housing (220) may be arranged to face each other. In the folded state, the first region (230a) and the second region (230b) of the first display (230) may form a narrow angle (e.g., in a range of 0 degrees to about 10 degrees) with each other and may be arranged to face each other. According to one embodiment, at least a portion of the folding region (230c) may be bent with a predetermined curvature. For example, the folding region (230c) may be formed flat when the electronic device (200) is in an unfolded state, and a cross-section of the z-axis when the electronic device (200) is in a folded state may form a teardrop shape.
[0035] According to one embodiment, when the electronic device (200) is in an intermediate state, the first housing (210) and the second housing (220) may be arranged at a certain angle with respect to each other. In this case, the first region (230a) and the second region (230b) of the first display (230) may form an angle that is greater than the angle in the folded state and less than the angle in the unfolded state, and the curvature of the folding region (230c) may be less than the angle in the folded state and greater than the angle in the unfolded state. In one embodiment, the first housing (210) and the second housing (220) may form an angle that can stop at a specified folding angle between the folded state and the unfolded state through at least one hinge structure (e.g., at least one of the hinge structures (320a, 320b, 320c) of FIG. 4) (free stop function).

[0047] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, the electronic device (200) may include a first display (230) (e.g., a flexible display), a second display (300), at least one hinge structure (at least one of 320a, 320b, and 320c), a pair of support members (321, 322), at least one substrate (270) (e.g., a printed circuit board (PCB)), a first housing (210), a second housing (220), a first rear cover (240), and a second rear cover (250). Additionally or alternatively, the electronic device (200) may further include an electronic pen (600) (or a stylus pen). Alternatively, the electronic pen (600) may be provided as a separate component from the electronic device (100) and may be selectively operated according to a user's preference during the operation of the electronic device (200). At least some of the above-described components may be omitted.
[0048] According to one embodiment, the first display (230) may include a display panel (430) (e.g., a flexible display panel), a support plate (450) disposed under the display panel (430), a digitizer (e.g., a pair of digitizer panels (461, 462) (or a digitizer-FPCB (flexible printed circuit board)) disposed under the support plate (450), digitizer shielding sheets (471, 472) (or shielding members, or shielding sheets) disposed under the digitizer panels (461, 462), and reinforcing plates (481, 482) (or support plates, metal sheets, metal panels, conductive sheets) disposed under the digitizer. According to one embodiment, the display panel (430) may include a first area (e.g., a first area of FIG. 1) of the first display (230). It may include a first panel area (430a) corresponding to the area (230a), a second panel area (430b) extending from the first panel area (430a) and corresponding to the second area (e.g., the second area (230b) of FIG. 1) of the first display (230), and a third panel area (430c) connecting the first panel area (430a) and the second panel area (430b) and corresponding to the folding area (e.g., the folding area (230c) of FIG. 1) of the first display (230).
[0049] According to one embodiment, the support plate (450) is disposed between the display panel (430) and a pair of support members (321, 322), and may be formed to have a material and shape to provide a planar support structure for the first panel area (430a) and the second panel area (430b) and a bendable structure to aid in bendability for the third panel area (430c). According to one embodiment, the support plate (450) may be formed of a conductive material (e.g., metal) or a non-conductive material (e.g., polymer or fiber reinforced plastics (FRP)). According to one embodiment,
[0050] The digitizer can recognize the position of the electronic pen (600) based on a signal generated upon the approach of the electronic pen (600) including a fixed capacitor, a variable capacitor, and a coil. The digitizer can include digitizer panels (461, 462) in which a signal is generated upon the approach of the electronic pen (600), and digitizer shielding sheets (471, 472) that support the digitizer panels (461, 462) and shield the lower surfaces (e.g., the surface facing the -z-axis direction) of the digitizer panels (461, 462). Meanwhile, although the panels and shielding sheets constituting the digitizer are exemplified as a pair separated from each other above and below, the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the digitizer panels (461, 462) may be formed as a single panel, in which case at least a portion connecting the first digitizer panel (461) and the second digitizer panel (462) may be configured to be foldable. In addition, the digitizer shielding sheets (471, 472) may be formed as a single sheet, in which case at least a portion connecting the first digitizer shielding sheet (471) and the second digitizer shielding sheet (472) may be configured to be foldable.
[0051] The electronic device (200) is formed in a foldable manner, and the positions of the digitizer panels (461, 462) may change during a folding or unfolding operation. For example, the digitizer panels (461, 462) may include a first digitizer panel (461) placed on a first housing (210) with a folding axis as the center, and a second digitizer panel (462) placed on a second housing (220). When the electronic device (200) is in an unfolded state, the first digitizer panel (461) and the second digitizer panel (462) may be arranged parallel to each other on the same plane and may be arranged to face the same direction (e.g., the z-axis direction). When the electronic device (200) is observed in the z-axis direction (or in the direction looking at the first display (230) from above) in a folded state, the first digitizer panel (461) and the second digitizer panel (462) are spaced apart from each other in the z-axis direction and may be arranged in a state of being overlapped or superimposed. The digitizer shielding sheets (471, 472) may include a first digitizer shielding sheet (471) that supports the first digitizer panel (461) and shields the lower surface of the first digitizer panel (461), and a second digitizer shielding sheet (472) that supports the second digitizer panel (462) and shields the lower surface of the second digitizer panel (462). The first digitizer shielding sheet (471) can be integrated with or attached to the first digitizer panel (461), and the first digitizer shielding sheet (471) and the first digitizer panel (461) can have the same arrangement state in the folded or unfolded state of the electronic device (200). Similarly, the second digitizer shielding sheet (472) can be integrated with or attached to the second digitizer panel (462), and the second digitizer shielding sheet (472) and the second digitizer panel (462) can have the same arrangement state in the folded or unfolded state of the electronic device (200).A first display (230) may be placed on the upper part of the digitizer, and reinforcing plates (481, 482) may be placed on the lower part.
[0052] A pair of reinforcing plates (481, 482) may include a first reinforcing plate (481) positioned between the support plate (450) and the pair of support members (321, 322) to correspond to at least a portion of the first panel area (430a) and the third panel area (430c), and a second reinforcing plate (482) positioned to correspond to at least a portion of the second panel area (430b) and the third panel area (430c). According to one embodiment, the pair of reinforcing plates (481, 482) may be formed of a metal material (e.g., a metallic sheet such as SUS (Steel Use Stainless) or a copper sheet or a conductive sheet), thereby helping to reinforce a ground connection structure and rigidity for the first display (230). According to one embodiment, the reinforcing plates (481, 482) may be provided in an overall square shape (or rectangular shape) and may include a partially cut-out area. A composite shielding member (491, 492, 493) (or a composite shielding sheet, a composite shielding material, a composite shielding tape) having different properties from the reinforcing plates (481, 482) may be disposed in the cut-out area. Meanwhile, although the above description exemplifies the arrangement of a pair of reinforcing plates, the pair of reinforcing plates may also be composed of a single reinforcing plate. In this case, the center portion of one of the reinforcing plates (e.g., an area corresponding to the folding axis (A)) may have a foldable shape (e.g., a lattice structure). Accordingly, the first reinforcing plate described above or below may correspond to one side based on the center portion of one reinforcing plate, and the second reinforcing plate may correspond to the other side based on the center portion of one reinforcing plate.
[0053] The above composite shielding member (491, 492, 493) can serve to shield the magnetic field generated from magnetic field components (e.g., 511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523) placed at the bottom (e.g., below the -z-axis direction of the composite shielding member). As an example, the composite shielding member (491, 492, 493) may block noise signals generated from the first display (230) from being transmitted to structures disposed on the sides of the housings (210, 220) and used as antennas (e.g., at least a portion of the first side (213_1), the second side (213_2), and the third side (213_3) of the first housing (210), and at least a portion of the fifth side (223_1), the sixth side (223_2), and the seventh side (223_3) of the second housing (220)). Alternatively, in a situation where adjacent side members (213, 223) are used as antennas, the cut-out areas of the reinforcing plates (481, 482) may change the grounding areas of the side members used as antennas. To reduce these variations, the composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) can be designed to be conductive.
[0054] In the illustrated drawing, three composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) are arranged as an example, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the composite shielding members may be arranged on top of each of the magnetic components (e.g., 511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523). Accordingly, when there are six magnetic components, the electronic device (200) may include six composite shielding members. Alternatively, when there are two magnetic components (e.g., 513, 523), the electronic device (200) may include two composite shielding members arranged to correspond to the positions at which the corresponding magnetic components are arranged. Meanwhile, although the illustrated drawing shows three composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) being arranged in the cut areas of the reinforcing plates (481, 482), the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, two more composite shielding members may be arranged in a symmetrical area with respect to the area where two composite shielding members (491, 492) are arranged, based on an imaginary line that crosses the center of the folding axis (A) of FIG. 1 at a right angle. In addition, one more composite shielding member may be arranged in a symmetrical area with respect to the area where one composite shielding member (493) is arranged, based on the folding axis (A) of FIG. 1. As an example, at least some of the plurality of composite shielding members may be physically or electrically connected to the reinforcing plates (481, 482).
[0055] According to one embodiment, the second display (300) may be positioned in the space between the second housing (220) and the second rear cover (250). According to one embodiment, the second display (300) may be positioned in the space between the second housing (220) and the second rear cover (250) so as to be visible from the outside through substantially the entire area of the second rear cover (250).
[0056] The at least one hinge structure (320a, 320b, 320c) may include, for example, a first hinge structure (320a), a second hinge structure (320b), and a third hinge structure (320c). The first to third hinge structures (320a, 320b, 320c) may have one side coupled to the first housing (210) and the other side coupled to the second housing (220). At least a portion of the first to third hinge structures (320a, 320b, 320c) may be seated and fixed within the hinge housing (350). As an example, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the electronic device (200) is illustrated as including three hinge structures, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the electronic device (200) may include only the first hinge structure (320a) and the third hinge structure (320c) excluding the second hinge structure (320b) arranged at the center, or may include three or more hinge structures. The first to third hinge structures (320a, 320b, 320c) may all have the same type or shape, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, at least two hinge structures may have the same type, and the remaining hinge structures may have a different shape from the other hinge structures.
[0057] According to one embodiment, at least a portion of the first support member (321) may be foldably coupled to the second support member (322) via at least one hinge structure (320a, 320b, 320c). According to one embodiment, the electronic device (200) may include at least one wiring member (263) (e.g., a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB)) that is arranged from at least a portion of the first support member (321) across the hinge housing (350) to a portion of the second support member (322). According to one embodiment, the first support member (321) may be arranged in a manner that extends from the first side member (213) or is structurally coupled with the first side member (213). The first support member (321) and the second support member (322) may be arranged between the first substrate (271) and the second substrate (272). As an example, a hinge housing (350) is placed between a first housing (210) and a second housing (220), and at least one hinge structure (320a, 320b, 320c) is placed within the hinge housing (350), and then a first substrate (271) is placed on the first housing (210), and a second substrate (272) is placed on the second housing (220), and then a first support member (321) and a second support member (322) may be placed between the first substrate (271) and the second substrate (272). According to one embodiment, the electronic device (200) may include a first space (e.g., the first space (2101) of FIG. 1) formed by the first support member (321) and the first rear cover (240). According to one embodiment, the first housing (210) (e.g., the first housing structure) may be configured by combining a first side member (213), a first support member (321), and a first rear cover (240). According to one embodiment, the second support member (322) may be arranged to extend from the second side member (223) or be structurally coupled with the second side member (223).According to one embodiment, the electronic device (200) may include a second space (e.g., the second space (2201) of FIG. 1) provided through a second support member (322) and a second rear cover (250). According to one embodiment, the second housing (220) (e.g., the second housing structure) may be configured through a combination of a second side member (223), a second support member (322), and a second rear cover (250).
[0058] According to one embodiment, at least one wiring member (263) or at least a portion of at least one hinge structure (320a, 320b, 320c) may be arranged to be supported by at least a portion of a pair of support members (321, 322). According to one embodiment, at least one wiring member (263) may be arranged in a direction transverse to the first support member (321) and the second support member (322) (e.g., in the x-axis direction). According to one embodiment, at least one wiring member (263) may be arranged in a direction substantially perpendicular to a folding axis (e.g., the y-axis or the folding axis (A) of FIG. 1) (e.g., in the x-axis direction).
[0059] According to one embodiment, at least one substrate (270) may include a first substrate (271) disposed in a first space (2101) and a second substrate (272) disposed in a second space (2201). According to one embodiment, the first substrate (271) and the second substrate (272) may include a plurality of electronic components disposed to implement various functions of the electronic device (200). According to one embodiment, the first substrate (271) and the second substrate (272) may be electrically connected through at least one wiring member (263).
[0060] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (200) may include at least one battery (291, 292). The at least one battery (291, 292) may include a first battery (291) disposed in a first space (2101) of a first housing (210) and electrically connected to a first substrate (271), and a second battery (292) disposed in a second space (2201) of a second housing (220) and electrically connected to a second substrate (272). According to one embodiment, the first support member (321) and the second support member (322) may further include at least one swelling hole (which serves as a space for accommodating the battery when it swells) for the first battery (291) and the second battery (292).
[0061] According to one embodiment, the first housing (210) may include a first rotation support surface (214), and the second housing (220) may include a second rotation support surface (224) corresponding to the first rotation support surface (214). According to one embodiment, the first rotation support surface (214) and the second rotation support surface (224) may include curved surfaces corresponding to (naturally connected to) the curved outer surface of the hinge housing (350). According to one embodiment, the first rotation support surface (214) and the second rotation support surface (224) may cover the hinge housing (350) when the electronic device (200) is in an unfolded state, thereby preventing or only partially exposing the hinge housing (350) to the rear surface of the electronic device (200). According to one embodiment, the first rotational support surface (214) and the second rotational support surface (224) can rotate along the outer surface of the curve of the hinge housing (350) when the electronic device (200) is in a folded state, thereby exposing at least a portion of the hinge housing (350) to the rear surface of the electronic device (200).
[0062] At least one communication module (or communication chip, communication circuit) may be arranged on at least one of the first substrate (271) and the second substrate (272). As an example, at least one of the first substrate (271) and the second substrate (272) may include at least one communication module among a communication circuit supporting various generations of mobile communication methods, a communication circuit supporting a wireless Wi-Fi communication method, NFC communication, and a communication circuit for location information collection. At least one antenna part related to the at least one communication module may include at least a part of the first housing (210) and the second housing (220). As an example, the first side member (213) disposed in the first housing (210) may include a first side portion (213_1) formed parallel to the first rotation support surface (214) in the y-axis direction, a second side portion (213_2) formed from one edge (e.g., the edge in the y-axis direction) of the first side portion (213_1) in the direction of the first rotation support surface (214), and a third side portion (213_3) formed from the other edge (e.g., the edge in the -y-axis direction) of the first side portion (213_1) in the direction of the first rotation support surface (214) and disposed parallel to the second side portion (213_2). At least a portion (or at least a portion of a combination thereof) of the first side portion (213_1), the second side portion (213_2), or the third side portion (213_3) may function as an antenna of the communication module or a portion of an antenna. According to one embodiment, at least a portion of the second side (213_2) and the third side (213_3) may be used as an antenna for the first mobile communication module among the communication modules.
[0063] The second side member (223) disposed in the second housing (220) may include a fourth side portion (223_1) formed parallel to the second rotation support surface (224) in the y-axis direction, a fifth side portion (223_2) formed from one edge (e.g., the edge in the y-axis direction) of the fourth side portion (223_1) in the direction of the second rotation support surface (224), and a sixth side portion (223_3) formed from the other edge (e.g., the edge in the -y-axis direction) of the fourth side portion (223_1) in the direction of the second rotation support surface (224) and disposed parallel to the fifth side portion (223_2). At least a portion (or at least a portion of a combination thereof) of the fourth side portion (223_1), the fifth side portion (223_2), and the sixth side portion (223_3) may function as an antenna of the communication module or a portion of an antenna. According to one embodiment, at least some of the first to sixth side sections (213_1, 213_2, 213_3, 223_1, 223_2, 223_3) (or at least some of a combination thereof) can be used as antennas for a second mobile communication module (or a first mobile communication module) among the communication modules.
[0064] The first to sixth magnetic components (511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523) may be arranged in pairs in at least one area of the electronic device (200). For example, the first magnetic component (511) (or the first magnetic field element, the first magnetic field configuration, the structure generating the first magnetic field) may be arranged on the front side of the first housing (210) and adjacent to one area of the second side (213_2). As an example, the first magnetic component (511) may be arranged on the y-axis edge on the front side of the first housing (210) (e.g., one side in the direction looking upward at the first display (230). The first magnetic component (511) may be arranged to be spaced apart from the second side (213_2). If the second side (213_2) is not used as a separate antenna, the first magnetic component (511) may be placed on the second side (213_2). The second magnetic component (512) may be placed adjacent to but not in contact with an area of the third side (213_3). For example, the second magnetic component (512) may be placed on the -y-axis edge on the front surface of the first housing (210) (e.g., one surface in the direction of looking upward at the first display (230). If the third side (213_3) is not used as a separate antenna, the second magnetic component (512) may be placed on the third side (213_3).
[0065] The third magnetic component (521) may be disposed adjacent to one area of the fifth side (223_2) while being spaced apart from the fifth side (223_2). For example, the third magnetic component (521) may be disposed at the y-axis edge on the front surface of the second housing (220) (e.g., one surface in the direction in which the first display (230) is viewed from above). If the fifth side (223_2) is not used as a separate antenna, the third magnetic component (521) may be disposed on the fifth side (223_2). The fourth magnetic component (522) may be disposed adjacent to one area of the sixth side (223_3) while being spaced apart from the sixth side (223_3). For example, the fourth magnetic component (522) may be placed on the -y-axis edge on the front side of the second housing (220) (e.g., one side facing upward toward the first display (230). If the sixth side (223_3) is not used for a separate antenna purpose, the fourth magnetic component (522) may be placed on the sixth side (223_3).
[0066] The fifth magnetic component (513) may be arranged adjacent to one area of the first side (213_1) and spaced apart from the first side (231_1) at a predetermined distance. The sixth magnetic component (523) may be arranged in one area of the fourth side (223_1) symmetrical with respect to the folding axis (A) of Fig. 1, and the sixth magnetic component (523) may be arranged spaced apart from the second side (231_1) at a predetermined distance.
[0067] According to one embodiment, when the electronic device (200) is in a folded state, the first magnetic component (511) and the third magnetic component (521) (or the fifth magnetic component (513) and the sixth magnetic component (523)) are arranged adjacently and can attract each other by an attractive force. According to one embodiment, when the electronic device (200) is in a folded state, the second magnetic component (512) and the fourth magnetic component (522) are arranged adjacently and can attract each other by an attractive force. When the electronic device (200) is in an unfolded state, the first to sixth magnetic components (511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523) can be arranged so that the attractive force does not act. When the electronic device (200) is in a folded state, the magnitude of the attractive force of the first to sixth magnetic components (511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523) toward each other may be a magnitude that offsets at least a portion of the repulsive force of the first display (230) in the folded state to unfold. The first to sixth magnetic components (511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523) may be arranged below the first display (230) (e.g., below in the -z-axis direction, based on the z-axis direction). Meanwhile, although the above description exemplifies a structure in which six magnetic components are arranged, the electronic device (100) may include a smaller number of magnetic components (e.g., two magnetic components), and the positions of the six magnetic components may also be changed.
[0068] According to one embodiment, the composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) may be arranged on at least one of the first to sixth magnetic field components (511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523) to shield the magnetic fields of the first to sixth magnetic field components (511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523) so as not to affect the digitizer. For example, the first composite shielding member (491) (or the first composite shielding layer, the first composite shielding material, the first composite shielding structure, the first composite shielding element, the first composite shielding body) may be disposed above the first magnetic component (511) (e.g., the upper portion facing the first display (230) in the z-axis direction) to shield the magnetic field generated from the first magnetic component (511) with respect to the digitizer. According to one embodiment, the area of the xy plane of the first composite shielding member (491) may be formed to be equal to or larger than the size of the upper surface (e.g., the surface facing the z-axis direction) of the first magnetic component (511). The thickness (e.g., the z-axis thickness) of the first composite shielding member (491) may vary depending on the magnetic field strength of the first magnetic component (511), and may be, for example, 10 μm or more, and may be formed to be thinner than the thickness of the first display (230). As another example, the thickness of the first composite shielding member (491) may be greater than the thickness of the first reinforcing plate (481).
[0069] The second composite shielding member (492) is arranged on the upper portion of the third magnetic field component (521) (e.g., the upper portion facing the first display (230) in the z-axis direction) so as to shield the magnetic field generated from the third magnetic field component (521) with respect to the digitizer. Meanwhile, in the illustrated drawing, only two composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) are illustrated, but there are cutout areas of the reinforcing plates (481, 482) at the edges in the y-axis direction, and two more composite shielding members (e.g., members arranged on the second magnetic field component (512), the fourth magnetic field component (522), and the sixth magnetic field component (523)) may be further arranged in each of the cutout areas. According to one embodiment, when the size and magnetic field strength of the first magnetic field component (511) and the third magnetic field component (521) are the same, the width of the second composite shielding member (492) may have the same size and the same thickness as the first composite shielding member (491). At least one of the above-described composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) may perform an electromagnetic shielding function so that noise generated from the first display (230) is not induced in structures used as antennas (e.g., at least one of the first side (213_1), the second side (213_2), the third side (213_3), the fourth side (223_3), the fifth side (223_2), and the sixth side (223_3)). In this regard, the composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) may be composed of a composite material to have electromagnetic shielding performance.
[0070] According to one embodiment, at least some of the magnetic components (511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523) arranged on one side of the electronic device (200) (e.g., magnets arranged to offset the repulsive force of the first display (230) in the folded state to unfold) may generate a magnetic field greater than a reference value. Accordingly, the electronic device (200) of the present disclosure may cut out some of the metallic (or conductive) reinforcing plates (481, 482) to shield the magnetic fields of the magnetic components (511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523), and may place the composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) described above in the cut-out area. The composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) (e.g., high-saturation shielding sheets) can serve to minimize the range in which the digitizer shielding sheets (471, 472) are saturated by blocking at least a portion of the magnetic field passing to the digitizer shielding sheets (471, 472). In addition, the remaining permeability in some areas of the composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) without being saturated can serve to increase the L (inductance) of the coil of the electronic pen (600), such as the digitizer shielding sheets (471, 472), thereby compensating for the L reduced by the magnetic components (511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523).
[0071] According to one embodiment, the composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) can be configured to have both a magnetic field shielding function and an electromagnetic shielding function (EMI shielding function). For example, the composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) can be formed by mixing a CIP having high magnetic field shielding performance so that it can shield the magnetic fields of the first to sixth magnetic field components (511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523) that generate magnetic fields that are greater than a reference value than the magnetic fields generated from magnetic components such as a camera module, a speaker, or a microphone, and a conductive powder (e.g., Ni powder or a conductive material) that can shield noise (or electromagnetic interference) generated from the first display (230) from being induced into the side wall member, and adding an adhesive material for forming a sheet so that it can be placed between the first display (230) and the magnetic field components (511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523). According to one embodiment, as a result of experimentally analyzing the effect of a shielding material having an EMI shielding performance of 20 dB or higher on an electronic pen (600), it can be observed that significant interference occurs in the electronic pen (600) due to eddy current when the shielding performance is 60 dB or higher. Accordingly, in order not to affect the performance of the electronic pen (600) (e.g., an electronic pen using a resonant frequency of 200 to 1000 KHz), the composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) may be configured to have an EMI shielding performance of at least 20 dB to 60 dB. In this way, in order to prepare composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) that achieve both magnetic field shielding and EMI shielding, the magnetic flux density (Bs) should be large (1.7 T (tesla, Wb / m 2)) and above) can be configured to have a conductivity with EMI shielding between 20 and 60 dB. For example, the composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) can be configured to obtain a conductivity between 20 and 60 dB by combining metal powder with a CIP material having a high Bs and a slight conductivity. CIP is a spherical pure iron powder (Fe > 97.8%) manufactured by reducing pentacarbonyl iron (Fe(CO)5) through a pyrolysis process. Since the iron content of CIP material is higher than that of other iron products, its saturation magnetic flux density is higher than that of other magnetic shielding sheets, at the level of 2.0 to 2.2 T. CIP material basically has a spherical shape with onion-shaped layers. In order to manufacture it into a shielding sheet used in a digitizer, it goes through a heat treatment process to improve the softness of the particles, and then goes through a flake process using ball-milling equipment, and then goes through a comma-coating process to make it into a film. A thin Fe3O4 layer, several nm thick, is formed on the surface of the CIP particles, which provides corrosion resistance to CIP and electrical conductivity at the same time. By adding metallic powder, such as Ni powder, to these CIP particles to increase electrical conductivity, a composite shielding material that secures both magnetic field shielding performance and EMI shielding performance is achieved. Composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) can be prepared. The composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) of the present invention can have a conductivity higher than a reference value by strengthening the electrical connection through the penetration of conductive Ni powder between CIP particles that are spaced apart from each other. In the process of preparing the composite shielding members (491, 492, 493), when forming the CIP into a sheet, an adhesive or binder (e.g., epoxy binder) is used, and in this process, 1 to 10% of metal powder (e.g., Ni powder) can be combined for EMI shielding performance. For the performance of shielding the magnetic field generated from the magnetic components (e.g., 511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523) related to maintaining the folded state of the electronic device (200), the CIP may have a composition ratio of, for example, 85%. When the metal powder is combined in an amount of 1 to 10% for EMI shielding performance, the binder may be added in a corresponding ratio of 5 to 14% (e.g., when the metal powder is added in an amount of 10%, the binder is added in an amount of 5%). The binder ratio may be added as much as necessary for sheeting, and when the binder material is changed, the binder ratio may be lowered to 5% or less, and accordingly, the addition ratio of the metal powder may be further increased. Alternatively, the CIP ratio may be further increased to enhance the magnetic field shielding performance. The performance regarding the combination of metal powders is as shown in the following Table 1.

[0073] As described above, when the electronic device (200) of the present invention utilizes CIP + Ni composite shielding members (491, 492, 493), it can obtain EMI shielding and magnetic field shielding simultaneously, and by placing only the composite shielding members (491, 492, 493) between the digitizer and magnetic components (511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523), it can provide a simpler structure, which is advantageous for the process and advantageous for thickness management (or flatness management). Meanwhile, in the above description, the arrangement of the first to sixth magnetic components (511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523) is exemplified, but the electronic device (200) of the present disclosure may further include other magnetic components in addition to the first to sixth magnetic components (511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523) described above. For example, the electronic device (200) may include a sound collection or output device such as a speaker or a microphone, or a camera module as the magnetic components. The magnetic components such as the camera module, speaker, or microphone may be arranged at the edge of the first housing (210) or the second housing (220) of the electronic device (200) (e.g., at a position adjacent to housing parts referred to as antennas). In this case, at least some of the reinforcing plates (481, 482) may be cut for magnetic shielding, and the composite shielding member described above may be arranged in the cut area. In addition, in the above description, the first to fourth magnetic field components (511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523) are arranged in relation to maintaining the folded state of the electronic device (200), but the electronic device (200) may include only two magnetic field components (e.g., the first magnetic field component (511) and the third magnetic field component (521), or the second magnetic field component (512) and the fourth magnetic field component (522), or the fifth magnetic field component (513) and the sixth magnetic field component (523)) in relation to maintaining the folded state.FIG. 5 is a drawing showing an example of an unfolded state of an electronic device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0074] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 5, an electronic device (200) according to one embodiment includes at least a first housing (210) and a second housing (220), and a first magnetic component (511) and a third magnetic component (521) may be disposed in each of the first housing (210) and the second housing (220), respectively. Additionally or alternatively, the electronic device (200) may further include a fifth magnetic component (513) disposed at the y-axis edge of the first side (213_1) of the first housing (210), a sixth magnetic component (523) disposed at the y-axis edge of the fourth side (223_1) of the second housing (220), a seventh magnetic component (514) disposed at the -y-axis edge of the first side (213_1) of the first housing (210), and an eighth magnetic component (524) disposed at the -y-axis edge of the fourth side (223_1) of the second housing (220). Additionally or alternatively, the electronic device (200) may include a camera module (216a) disposed adjacent to the second side (213_2) that may be used as an antenna. The above electronic device (200) has a digitizer disposed therein and can support the function of an electronic pen (600).
[0075] The first housing (210) includes at least a first side member (213), as described above, and the first side member (213) may include a first side portion (213_1), a second side portion (213_2), and a third side portion (213_3). At least some of the first side portion (213_1), the second side portion (213_2), and the third side portion (213_3) may be used as an antenna of a communication module of the electronic device (200). The second housing (220) includes at least a second side member (223), as described above, and the second side member (223) may include a fourth side portion (223_1), a fifth side portion (223_2), and a sixth side portion (223_3). At least some of the fourth side (223_1), fifth side (223_2), and sixth side (223_3) can be used as an antenna of a communication module of the electronic device (200).
[0076] As an example, a first magnetic component (511) may be arranged on one side of the first housing (210) (e.g., one side of the second side (213_2)), and a third magnetic component (521) may be arranged on one side of the second housing (220) (e.g., one side of the fifth side (223_2)). When the first housing (210) and the second housing (220) come closer within a predefined distance during a folding operation of the electronic device (200), the first magnetic component (511) and the third magnetic component (521) (or the fifth magnetic component (513) and the sixth magnetic component (523), or the seventh magnetic component (514) and the eighth magnetic component (524)) may attract each other by an attractive force. The first magnetic component (511) and the third magnetic component (521) may play a role in offsetting the repulsive force that causes the first display (230) to unfold from a folded state. In the above-described drawing, the electronic device (200) in which the first magnetic component (511) and the third magnetic component (521), the fifth magnetic component (513) and the sixth magnetic component (523), and the seventh magnetic component (514) and the eighth magnetic component (524) are arranged is exemplified, but the electronic device (200) may include only some of the magnetic components. For example, the electronic device (200) may include only the seventh magnetic component (514) and the eighth magnetic component (524). A composite shielding member may be arranged on the upper portion of each of the magnetic components for magnetic shielding, as described below with reference to FIG. 7. The size of the composite shielding members placed on each of the above magnetic components can be configured to have a size larger than (or at least the same size as) the size of one side of the magnetic components in the z-axis direction, for example.
[0077] Meanwhile, in the illustrated drawing, the first magnetic component (511) is arranged on the second side (213_2) of the first housing (210), and the third magnetic component (521) is arranged on the fifth side (223_2) of the second housing (220), but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, as described later in FIG. 7, the magnetic components may be arranged on the front edges of the housings.
[0078] FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view taken along the A1-A1` cutting line in a portion of an electronic device in which a magnetic component is not arranged according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0079] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 6, an electronic device (200) according to an embodiment may include at least a first side portion (213_1) of a first housing (210), a fifth side portion (223_2) of a second housing (220), a hinge housing (350) (e.g., at least a portion of the hinge housing (350) on which at least a portion of at least one hinge structure (320a, 320b, 320c) described in FIGS. 1 to 4 is mounted), and a first display (230). As an example, at least a portion of the first side portion (213_1) may be used as an antenna of a communication module of the electronic device (200). The remaining fifth side (223_2) area, excluding the fifth side (223_2) area where the third magnetic field component (521) is adjacently arranged, may be used as an antenna after being separated from the area where the third magnetic field component (521) is adjacent.
[0080] The first display (230) may include a display panel (430), a first digitizer panel (461) disposed between the display panel (430) and the first housing (210), a first digitizer shielding sheet (471) and a first reinforcing plate (481), and a second digitizer panel (462) disposed between the display panel (430) and the second housing (220), a second digitizer shielding sheet (472) and a second reinforcing plate (482). The first digitizer panel (461) and the second digitizer panel (462) may be spaced apart from each other. In response to this, the first digitizer shielding sheet (471) positioned under the first digitizer panel (461) and the second digitizer shielding sheet (472) positioned under the second digitizer panel (462) may also be spaced apart at the same interval.
[0081] According to one embodiment, in an area where no magnetic component is placed, the first reinforcing plate (481) may be placed to shield the entire first digitizer panel (461) as no separate magnetic component is placed. Alternatively, the first reinforcing plate (481) may be formed to have the same shape and width (or depth) as the first digitizer panel (461).
[0082] FIG. 7 is a drawing showing a cross-section along the BB` cutting line of a part of an electronic device in which a magnetic component according to one embodiment of the present disclosure is arranged.
[0083] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 7, an electronic device (200) according to one embodiment may include at least a first side (213_1) of a first housing (210), a fifth side (223_2) of a second housing (220), a hinge housing (350) (e.g., at least a portion of a hinge housing (350) on which at least a portion of at least one hinge structure (320a, 320b, 320c) described in FIGS. 1 to 4 is mounted), and a first display (230).
[0084] The first display (230) may include a display panel (430), a first digitizer panel (461) disposed between the display panel (430) and the first housing (210), a first digitizer shielding sheet (471) and a first reinforcing plate (481), a second digitizer panel (462) disposed between the display panel (430) and the second housing (220), a second digitizer shielding sheet (472) and a second reinforcing plate (482), and a second composite shielding member (492).
[0085] According to one embodiment, a portion of the second reinforcing plate (482) may be cut out so that a second composite shielding member (492) can be placed above an area where no magnetic component is placed (upper portion in the z-axis direction). At least a portion of the second composite shielding member (492) may be placed in the area where a portion of the second reinforcing plate (482) is cut out. Accordingly, the z-axis direction stacked configuration of the area where the third magnetic component (521) is placed may include a second housing (220), a third magnetic component (521) (or a second housing (220) on which the third magnetic component (521) is mounted), a second composite shielding member (492), a second digitizer shielding sheet (472), a second digitizer panel (462), and a display panel (430). The z-axis direction stacked form of the area where the above magnetic component (e.g., 521 or 522) is not placed may include a second housing (220), a second reinforcing plate (482), a second digitizer shielding sheet (472), a second digitizer panel (462), and a display panel (430).
[0086] Referring to FIG. 5 above, since the first magnetic component (511) and the third magnetic component (521) are formed symmetrically with respect to the folding axis, a portion of the first reinforcing plate (481) may be cut so that the first composite shielding member (491) is placed on the upper portion (e.g., the upper portion in the z-axis direction) of the region where the first magnetic component (511) is placed, and similarly, a portion of the second reinforcing plate (482) may be cut so that the second composite shielding member (492) is placed on the upper portion (e.g., the upper portion in the z-axis direction) of the region where the third magnetic component (521) is placed. As an example, the cut portions of the first reinforcing plate (481) and the second reinforcing plate (482) may be formed symmetrically with respect to the folding axis. As another example, when magnetic components such as camera modules or speakers are not arranged symmetrically in the housings, and a composite shielding member is arranged for EMI shielding and magnetic field shielding of the magnetic components, at least one of the position and size of the cutout area of the first reinforcing plate (481) and the second reinforcing plate (482) may be different.
[0087] According to one embodiment, in the illustrated drawing, the second composite shielding member (492) and the second reinforcing plate (482) are shown as being spaced apart, but the second composite shielding member (492) and the second reinforcing plate (482) may be electrically or physically connected to suppress the generation of eddy current.
[0088] FIG. 8 is a diagram showing a change in a magnetic field when there is no composite shielding sheet in an area where a magnetic component is placed according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0089] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 8, an electronic device (200) according to an embodiment may include at least a second housing (220), at least one hinge structure (320) (e.g., at least one of the hinge structures (320a, 320b, 320c) of FIG. 4), a third magnetic component (521), a second digitizer panel (462), a second digitizer shielding sheet (472), and a second reinforcing plate (482). Additionally or alternatively, the electronic device (200) may include an adhesive layer (or adhesive layer, adhesive material, adhesive member, adhesive tape) (472_ad) disposed between the second digitizer shielding sheet (472) and the second reinforcing plate (482), a first waterproof member (591) and a second waterproof member (592) disposed between the second reinforcing plate (482) and the second housing (220). The first waterproof member (591) can prevent foreign substances or moisture from entering the electronic device (200) through the edge of the second housing (220). The second waterproof member (592) can prevent foreign substances or moisture from entering the electronic device (200) through the area where at least one hinge structure (320a, 320b, 320c) is arranged.
[0090] Since there is no separate second reinforcing plate (482) portion on the upper part of the z-axis of the third magnetic field component (521) and the cut-out area (482_S1) of the second reinforcing plate (482) is arranged, an empty space can be formed. Accordingly, the magnetic field generated from the third magnetic field component (521) is directly transmitted to the second digitizer shielding sheet (472), and the saturation magnetic flux density of the second digitizer shielding sheet (472) is lowered, so that the magnetic field of the second digitizer panel (462) can be induced to the second reinforcing plate (482).
[0091] Additionally, or alternatively, when at least a portion of the hinge structure (320, or at least one hinge structure (320a, 320b, 320c) described above) is unipolarly magnetized, the magnetic field of the hinge structure (320) may affect the second digitizer shielding sheet (472) via the second reinforcing plate (482). Accordingly, the saturation magnetic flux density of the portion of the second digitizer shielding sheet (472) located above the hinge structure (320) is lowered, and the magnetic flux due to the eddy current of the second digitizer panel (462) may affect the second reinforcing plate (482).
[0092] As described above, in the laminated area (800_S1) of the second digitizer panel (462) and the second digitizer shielding sheet (472) and the second reinforcing plate (482) where no separate magnetic component is arranged, a magnetic flux is formed by an eddy current that does not significantly affect the electronic pen (600), whereas in the area (800_S2, 800_S3) where the third magnetic component (521) or the magnetized hinge structure (320) is arranged, the influence of the magnetic field lowers the shielding performance of the second digitizer shielding sheet (472) more than in the surrounding area (800_S1), thereby changing the signal induction characteristics of the second digitizer panel (462), which may cause an error when operating the electronic pen (600).
[0093] As described above, in the area where the second digitizer shielding sheet (472) shields the second digitizer panel (462), the second digitizer shielding sheet (e.g., a conductive sheet, a metallic sheet, or a magnet metal powder (MMP) sheet) acts as a path for the magnetic field, so that the magnetic field from the electronic pen (600) is not affected by the second reinforcing plate (482). However, in the area where the third magnetic field component (521) is arranged, the second digitizer shielding sheet (472) is at least partially saturated due to the magnetic field from the third magnetic field component (521), and the magnetic field (e.g., a magnetic field induced from the electronic pen (600)) that does not completely flow to the second digitizer shielding sheet is transmitted to the second reinforcing plate (482), so that the eddy current generated in the second reinforcing plate (482) forms a magnetic field in the electronic pen (600), which may affect the operation of the electronic pen (600). there is.
[0094] FIG. 9 is a diagram showing a change in a magnetic field when a composite shielding sheet is present in an area where a magnetic component is placed according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0095] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 9, an electronic device (200) according to one embodiment may include at least a second housing (220), at least one hinge structure (320) (e.g., at least one of the hinge structures (320a, 320b, 320c) of FIG. 4), a third magnetic component (521), a second digitizer panel (462), a second digitizer shielding sheet (472), a second reinforcing plate (482), and a plurality of composite shielding members (492a, 492b, 492c). Additionally or alternatively, the electronic device (200) may include an adhesive layer (or adhesive layer) (472_ad) disposed between the second digitizer shielding sheet (472) and the second reinforcing plate (482), a first waterproof member (591) and a second waterproof member (592) disposed between the second reinforcing plate (482) and the second housing (220).
[0096] Among the plurality of composite shielding members (492a, 492b, 492c), the first composite shielding member (492a) may be disposed between the third magnetic component (521) and the second digitizer shielding sheet (472) when viewed in the z-axis direction (or when viewed from the front of the first display (230). When viewed in the z-axis direction, the second composite shielding member (492b) may be disposed between the second housing (220) and the second reinforcing plate (482). In addition, when viewed in the Y-axis direction (or when viewed from the side of the electronic device (200) when the electronic device (200) is in an unfolded state), the second composite shielding member (492b) may be disposed between the first waterproofing member (591) and the second waterproofing member (592). When viewed in the z-axis direction, the third composite shielding member (492c) can be positioned between at least one hinge structure (320a, 320b, 320c) and the second reinforcing plate (482).
[0097] As described above, since the first composite shielding member (492a) is arranged on the upper portion of the third magnetic component (521), the magnetic field generated from the third magnetic component (521) is blocked by the first composite shielding member (492a) and may not affect the second digitizer panel (462) or may not have a significant effect during the operation of the electronic pen (600). Since the third composite shielding member (492c) is arranged on the upper portion of the at least one magnetized hinge structure (320a, 320b, 320c), the magnetic field generated from the at least one magnetized hinge structure (320a, 320b, 320c) does not affect the second reinforcing plate (482), and thus the second digitizer shielding sheet (472) can normally shield the second digitizer panel (462).
[0098] In an area where a magnetic component (e.g., a third magnetic component (521)) that generates a magnetic field exceeding a pre-designed reference value is disposed, a portion of the second reinforcing plate (482) is cut (or removed) to offset the performance degradation of the electronic pen (600) due to eddy current, and additionally, a plurality of composite shielding members (492a, 492b, 492c) (or a magnetic field shielding agent, e.g., an aspirated radiation shield, ARS) described above are used for magnetic field shielding of the magnetic component, thereby reducing the influence of the magnetic field generated from the magnetic component on the second digitizer shielding sheet (472), and supporting the role of a path for the magnetic field from the electronic pen (600) in place of the saturated second digitizer shielding sheet (472). In this process, the antenna grounding condition of the side member may change due to the area where the second reinforcing plate (482) is cut (or removed), which may cause EMI noise to be induced. As described in Table 1 above, the composite shielding members (492a, 492b, 492c) can be configured to have a conductivity (or EMI shielding performance) of a certain value or higher to compensate for the EMI noise being induced in a nearby antenna area (e.g., at least a part of the side member).
[0099] FIG. 10 is a drawing showing an example of a cross-section of a portion of an electronic device according to one embodiment. For example, some of the cross-sections illustrated in FIG. 10 may include an example of a cross-section of CC` of FIG. 5.
[0100] Referring to FIG. 10, an electronic device (200) according to an embodiment may include a first display (230), which may include a display panel (430), a first digitizer panel (461), a first digitizer shielding sheet (471), and a first reinforcing plate (481). The electronic device (200) may include a first magnetic component (511), a first composite shielding member (491), and a first connecting member (703) (or a first connecting layer, a first connecting element, a first connecting configuration) disposed below the first display (230). Additionally or alternatively, an adhesive layer (701) may be further disposed between the first composite shielding member (491) and the first digitizer shielding sheet (471).
[0101] When viewed from the z-axis (or when viewing the first display (230) from above), the laminated structure of the area where the first magnetic component (511) is disposed may include a display panel (430), a first digitizer panel (461), a first digitizer shielding sheet (471), an adhesive layer (701), a first composite shielding member (491), a first connecting member (703), and a first magnetic component (511). When viewed from the z-axis (or when viewing the first display (230) from above), the area where the first magnetic component (511) is not disposed may include a display panel (430), a first digitizer panel (461), a first digitizer shielding sheet (471), and a first reinforcing plate (481), and the first connecting member (703) may be added to the laminated structure of the area where the first connecting member (703) is disposed.
[0102] The above adhesive layer (701) can serve to prevent movement of the first composite shielding member (491) by adhering the first composite shielding member (491) to the rear surface of the first digitizer shielding sheet (471) (e.g., one surface facing the -z axis or one surface facing the first rear cover (240)).
[0103] The first connecting member (703) can electrically connect the first composite shielding member (491) to the first reinforcing plate (481). In this regard, the first connecting member (703) can include a conductive adhesive member (or a conductive adhesive material, a conductive adhesive tape). The first connecting member (703) in the form of a conductive adhesive member can have one side bonded to one surface of the first composite shielding member (491) (e.g., a surface facing the first magnetic component (511)), and the other side bonded to one surface of the first reinforcing plate (481) (e.g., a surface facing the front of the first housing (210) or a surface facing the first rear cover). As an example, one side (or first portion) of the first connecting member (703) may be arranged to cover the entire (or more than half) of the surface facing the -z-axis direction of the first composite shielding member (491), and the other side (or second portion) may be arranged to cover a portion of the first reinforcing plate (481).
[0104] Accordingly, the first connecting member (703) may include a single-sided adhesive member in which an adhesive material is applied only to the surface that is bonded to the first composite shielding member (491) and the first reinforcing plate (481). Since the first composite shielding member (491) and the first reinforcing plate (481) are electrically connected by the first connecting member (703), the first composite shielding member (491) may compensate for the degradation of EMI shielding performance caused by the cut area (or removal area) of the first reinforcing plate (481). As mentioned above, the first magnetic component (511) is arranged on the front side of the first housing (210) and may be paired with the third magnetic component (521) to affect (e.g., gravitational force) the folding operation or the operation of maintaining the folded state of the electronic device (200). The magnetic field generated from the first magnetic field component (511) is blocked by the first composite shielding member (491), so that the first digitizer panel (461) and the electronic pen (600) can operate normally.
[0105] FIG. 11 is a diagram illustrating another example of a cross-section of a portion of an electronic device according to one embodiment. For example, some of the cross-sections illustrated in FIG. 11 may include another example of the cross-section of CC` of FIG. 5.
[0106] Referring to FIG. 11, an electronic device (200) according to an embodiment includes a first display (230), and the first display (230) may include a display panel (430), a first digitizer panel (461), a first digitizer shielding sheet (471), and a first reinforcing plate (481). The electronic device (200) may include a first magnetic component (511) disposed below the first display (230) (e.g., a first magnetic component disposed in the first housing (210), a first composite shielding member (491), and a second connecting member (705).
[0107] When viewed from the z-axis (or when viewing the first display (230) from above), the laminated structure of the area where the first magnetic component (511) is arranged may include a display panel (430), a first digitizer panel (461), a first digitizer shielding sheet (471), a second connecting member (705), a first composite shielding member (491), and a first magnetic component (511). When viewed from the z-axis (or when viewing the first display (230) from above), the area where the first magnetic component (511) is not placed may include the display panel (430), the first digitizer panel (461), the first digitizer shielding sheet (471), and the first reinforcing plate (481), and the laminated structure of the area where the second connecting member (705) is placed may include a second connecting member (705) placed below the first reinforcing plate (481) (below in the -z-axis direction).
[0108] The second connecting member (705) can electrically connect the first composite shielding member (491) to the first reinforcing plate (481). In this regard, the second connecting member (705) can include a conductive adhesive member (or a conductive adhesive material, a conductive adhesive tape). The second connecting member (705) in the form of a conductive adhesive member can have one side disposed between the first digitizer shielding sheet (471) and one side of the first composite shielding member (491) (e.g., the side facing the first magnetic component (511)) and be adhered to one side of the first composite shielding member (491), and the other side can be adhered to one side of the first reinforcing plate (481) (e.g., the side facing the front of the first housing (210) or the side facing the first rear cover). Additionally or alternatively, the second connecting member (705) may also have an adhesive material applied to a surface facing the first digitizer shielding sheet (471) to serve to secure the first composite shielding member (491) to the first digitizer shielding sheet (471). According to one embodiment, the second connecting member (705) may include a single-sided adhesive member having an adhesive material applied only to a surface that is bonded to the first composite shielding member (491) and the first reinforcing plate (481). Since the first composite shielding member (491) and the first reinforcing plate (481) are electrically connected by the second connecting member (705), the first composite shielding member (491) can compensate for the degradation of EMI shielding performance caused by the cut area (or removal area) of the first reinforcing plate (481). Alternatively, depending on the electrical connection between the first reinforcing plate (481) and the first composite shielding member (491), the first composite shielding member (491) may compensate for the change in grounding conditions for the antenna area (e.g., at least a portion of the adjacent side member) of the first reinforcing plate (481) by the cut area.As mentioned above, the first magnetic component (511) is arranged on the front of the first housing (210) and, in pair with the third magnetic component (521), can influence (e.g., gravitational force) the folding operation or the operation of maintaining the folded state of the electronic device (200). The magnetic field generated from the first magnetic component (511) is blocked by the first composite shielding member (491), so that the first digitizer panel (461) and the electronic pen (600) can operate normally.
[0109] FIG. 12 is a diagram illustrating another example of a cross-section of a portion of an electronic device according to one embodiment. For example, some of the cross-sections illustrated in FIG. 12 may include another example of the cross-section of CC` of FIG. 5.
[0110] Referring to FIG. 12, an electronic device (200) according to an embodiment includes a first display (230), and the first display (230) may include a display panel (430), a first digitizer panel (461), a first digitizer shielding sheet (471), and a first reinforcing plate (481). The electronic device (200) may include a first magnetic component (511), composite shielding layers (491_1, 491_2), an adhesive layer (701), and a third connecting member (707) disposed in a first housing (210).
[0111] When viewed from the z-axis (or when viewing the first display (230) from above), the laminated structure of the area where the first magnetic component (511) is arranged may include a first display panel (430), a first digitizer panel (461), a first digitizer shielding sheet (471), an adhesive layer (701), a first composite shielding layer (491_1), a third connecting member (707), a second composite shielding layer (491_2), and a first magnetic component (511). When viewed from the z-axis (or when viewing the first display (230) from above), the area where the first magnetic component (511) is not placed may include the first display panel (430), the first digitizer panel (461), the first digitizer shielding sheet (471), and the first reinforcing plate (481), and the laminated structure of the area where the third connecting member (707) is placed may include a third connecting member (707) placed below the first reinforcing plate (481) (below in the -z-axis direction).
[0112] The above adhesive layer (701) is disposed between the first digitizer shielding sheet (471) and the first composite shielding layer (491_1), so as to adhere the first composite shielding layer (491_1) to the first digitizer shielding sheet (471). Accordingly, movement of the first composite shielding layer (491_1) can be prevented.
[0113] The third connecting member (707) may be disposed between the first composite shielding layer (491_1) and the second composite shielding layer (491_2) and may include a conductive adhesive member (or conductive adhesive material, conductive adhesive tape) having conductivity. The third connecting member (707) in the form of a conductive adhesive member may have an upper surface on one side adhered to one side of the first composite shielding layer (491_1) (e.g., a surface facing the first magnetic component (511) or the first rear cover (240)), and a lower surface on one side adhered to one side of the second composite shielding layer (491_2) (e.g., a surface facing the first digitizer shielding sheet (471). In addition, the third connecting member (707) may extend toward the first reinforcing plate (481), and the other side of the extended third connecting member (707) may be bonded to one surface of the first reinforcing plate (481) (e.g., a surface facing the front of the first housing (210). In this regard, at least a portion of the third connecting member (707) disposed between the first composite shielding layer (491_1) and the second composite shielding layer (491_2) may have adhesive performance and conductive performance on both the front and back surfaces (or the upper and lower surfaces). Alternatively, the third connecting member (707) may be formed to have adhesive performance and conductive performance on the entire front and back surfaces. As described above, the third connecting member (707) may support electrical connection between the first composite shielding layer (491_1) and the second composite shielding layer (491_2) and the first reinforcing plate (481). As the first composite shielding layer (491_1) and the second composite shielding layer (491_2) are electrically connected to the first reinforcing plate (481) by the third connecting member (707), the first composite shielding layer (491_1) and the second composite shielding layer (491_2) can compensate for the deterioration of EMI shielding performance due to the cut area (or removal area) of the first reinforcing plate (481).Alternatively, depending on the electrical connection between the first reinforcing plate (481) and the composite shielding layers (491_1, 491_2), the grounding condition change for the antenna area (e.g., at least a portion of the adjacent side member) of the first reinforcing plate (481) may be compensated for by the composite shielding layers (491_1, 491_2) by the cut area.
[0114] The arrangement relationship of the magnetic component and the composite shielding member (or composite shielding layers) and the reinforcing plate described in FIGS. 10 to 12 described above can be applied identically or similarly to at least one embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 9 described above. For example, although the support plate (450) is not illustrated in FIGS. 10 to 12 for convenience of explanation, the corresponding configuration can be placed between the display panel (430) and the first digitizer panel (461). In addition, at least one structure of the composite shielding member, reinforcing plate, and magnetic component described in FIGS. 10 to 12 may be applied to at least one of the magnetic components (511, 512, 513, 521, 522, 523) described in FIG. 4 or at least one of the magnetic components (511, 513, 514, 521, 523, 524) described in FIG. 5.
