Description

Electronic device, assembly method of electronic device, and screen assembly

[0001] This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application filed with the State Intellectual Property Office on June 27, 2023, with application number 202310772195.0 and invention name “Electronic device, assembly method of electronic device and screen assembly”, the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference into this application. Technical Field

[0002] The present application relates to the technical field of electronic products, and in particular to an electronic device, an assembly method of an electronic device, and a screen assembly. Background Art

[0003] With the advancement of electronic device technology, privacy is becoming a more pressing need for users. To enhance the privacy of voice calls, voice messages, and other operations, more and more electronic devices are adopting screen-to-sound technology to transmit sound. Screen-to-sound technology uses the screen as a vibrating element, generating sound waves through an actuator mounted on the screen.

[0004] To enable the actuator to drive the screen, it is electrically connected to the electronic device's internal circuit board (e.g., the motherboard) via a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB). To facilitate assembly, the circuit board is typically secured and electrically connected to the FPCB using a board-to-board (BTB) connector. Specifically, the FPCB is equipped with one of the female and male connectors of the BTB connector, while the circuit board is equipped with the other female and male connectors of the BTB connector, with the female connector snapping into place.

[0005] However, in order to prevent the flexible circuit board from breaking due to the pulling of the flexible circuit board when the female and male sockets are engaged, the flexible circuit board usually needs to be set relatively long to provide a margin for the engagement of the female and male sockets. In addition, due to the structural layout inside the electronic device, the routing path of the flexible circuit board inside the electronic device needs to avoid various structures inside the electronic device, causing the flexible circuit board to bend around inside the electronic device. Based on the above factors, the redundancy of the flexible circuit board leads to excessive space occupied by the electronic device, which cannot meet the current user's demand for thinner electronic devices. In addition, the entire connection structure is relatively complex, difficult to assemble, and not conducive to maintenance.

[0006] As users increasingly demand thinner electronic devices, the internal stacking layout of electronic devices is becoming increasingly compact, resulting in limited internal space. Optimizing the layout of actuators and circuit boards within this limited space, as well as the connections between them, to meet these thinning requirements is a key research topic for manufacturers.

[0007] Summary of the Invention

[0008] The present application provides an electronic device, an assembly method of the electronic device and a screen assembly. The electronic device aims to solve the redundancy problem of the flexible circuit board connected between the exciter and the circuit board in the prior art, which is conducive to achieving a thin design of the electronic device.

[0009] To achieve the above objectives, this application adopts the following technical solutions:

[0010] In a first aspect, the present application provides an electronic device comprising: a screen, an actuator module, a circuit board, and a conductive elastic member. The screen has a display surface and a non-display surface disposed opposite each other. The actuator module includes an actuator and a flexible circuit board, the actuator being fixed to the non-display surface, and the flexible circuit board being fixed to the non-display surface as a whole. One end of the flexible circuit board is fixed to and electrically connected to the actuator; the circuit board is located on the side of the actuator module away from the screen and is fixed relative to the screen; the conductive elastic member is compressed between the circuit board and the flexible circuit board, and the flexible circuit board is electrically connected to the circuit board via the conductive elastic member.

[0011] In the electronic device of the present application, since the exciter is fixed to the non-display surface of the screen, the flexible circuit board is fixed to the non-display surface of the screen as a whole. This facilitates the fixing of the exciter module as a whole to the non-display surface of the screen, and can facilitate the assembly of the screen and the exciter module as a whole with other structures inside the electronic device, which can simplify the assembly process and reduce assembly costs. Moreover, the flexible circuit board is fixed to the screen as a whole, which can simplify the routing path of the flexible circuit board, avoiding the problem of the flexible circuit board being long due to the need for the flexible circuit board to avoid other structures inside the electronic device during the routing process. This is conducive to shortening the length of the flexible circuit board, saving space inside the electronic device, and facilitating the thinning of the electronic device. In addition, the conductive elastic member is compressed between the flexible circuit board and the circuit board so that the flexible circuit board can be electrically connected to the circuit board through the conductive elastic member. This connection method does not need to consider the problem in the prior art that the flexible circuit board needs to be set longer because the flexible circuit board is connected with the circuit board using a BTB connector to prevent the flexible circuit board from breaking due to pulling the flexible circuit board when the female and male sockets of the BTB connector are engaged. It is beneficial to further shorten the length of the flexible circuit board, save space inside the electronic device, and further achieve thinning of the electronic device. In addition, this connection method has a reasonable and compact structural layout, is easy to assemble, and reduces assembly costs.

[0012] In a possible implementation of the first aspect, the exciter may be laminated and fixed to the non-display surface of the screen, so that when the exciter is used in an electronic device, the overall thickness of the exciter and the screen can be reduced.

[0013] In a possible implementation of the first aspect, the surface of the flexible circuit board facing the circuit board has a conductive abutment portion, the conductive elastic member is fixed to the circuit board, and the conductive elastic member abuts and is electrically connected to the conductive abutment portion.

[0014] In a possible implementation of the first aspect, the conductive elastic member is fixed to a surface of the flexible circuit board facing the circuit board. The circuit board has a conductive abutment portion. The conductive elastic member on the flexible circuit board abuts against the conductive abutment portion on the circuit board.

[0015] In one possible implementation of the first aspect, a surface of the flexible circuit board facing the circuit board and a surface of the circuit board facing the flexible circuit board both have conductive abutment portions. The conductive elastic member abuts between the conductive abutment portion on the flexible circuit board and the conductive abutment portion on the circuit board. In this case, the conductive elastic member is detachably connected to the flexible circuit board and the circuit board.

[0016] In one possible implementation of the first aspect, the flexible printed circuit board includes a second electrical connection section, which is laminated and fixed to the screen. The orthographic projection of the second electrical connection section on the non-display surface is located outside the orthographic projection of the actuator on the non-display surface. The conductive abutment is provided on a surface of the second electrical connection section facing the printed circuit board. This ensures that when the conductive abutment contacts the conductive elastic member, vibration of the actuator is not affected, thereby improving the reliability of the actuator.

[0017] In one possible implementation of the first aspect, the flexible printed circuit board further includes a first electrical connection section and a third electrical connection section. The exciter and the screen are stacked, with the first electrical connection section stacked and fixed to a surface of the exciter facing away from the screen. The third electrical connection section is connected between an outer edge of the first electrical connection section and an outer edge of the second electrical connection section, and is located on the side toward which the outer peripheral surface of the exciter faces. This not only achieves electrical connection between the flexible printed circuit board and the exciter, but also simplifies the structure and facilitates assembly. The entire exciter module tends to be flatter, facilitating a thinner design for the electronic device.

[0018] In one possible implementation of the first aspect, the actuator module further includes a reinforcing sheet laminated and fixed between the second electrical connection section and the screen, thereby preventing the conductive elastic member from puncturing the screen during assembly or when the screen is impacted.

[0019] Since the reinforcing sheet can be used to resist part of the impact force acting on the screen when the display surface of the screen is impacted, the structural strength of the reinforcing sheet determines the protective effect of the reinforcing sheet. On this basis, in some embodiments, in order to ensure the structural strength of the reinforcing sheet, the thickness of the reinforcing sheet can be increased, but this will increase the space occupied by the reinforcing sheet and increase the thickness of the electronic device. In order to avoid this problem, a material with greater rigidity can be selected to make the reinforcing sheet to take into account both structural strength and thickness. In some embodiments, the reinforcing sheet can be a metal part. Exemplarily, the reinforcing sheet can be a stainless steel part, an aluminum alloy part, a magnesium-aluminum alloy part, etc. Of course, the present application is not limited to this. In other embodiments, the reinforcing sheet can also be a plastic part, a glass fiber material part, etc.

[0020] In some embodiments, the thickness of the reinforcing sheet is greater than or equal to 0.1 mm and less than or equal to 1 mm. This ensures the structural strength of the reinforcing sheet while reducing the space occupied by the reinforcing sheet in the thickness direction of the electronic device, thereby facilitating a lightweight and thin design of the electronic device.

[0021] In one possible implementation of the first aspect, the exciter module further includes a reinforcing gasket located on the periphery of the reinforcing plate and connected to the plate. The reinforcing gasket is laminated and fixed between the exciter and the non-display surface. The exciter is connected to the screen via the reinforcing gasket. When the exciter vibrates, it can drive the reinforcing gasket to vibrate, thereby driving the screen to vibrate. This, on the one hand, separates the exciter from the screen by the reinforcing gasket. When the screen is impacted, the impact force acting on the display surface of the screen is prevented from being directly transmitted to the exciter, thereby reducing the stress on the exciter and preventing damage to the exciter. On the other hand, the provision of the reinforcing gasket also helps to improve the structural strength of the exciter and enhance its ability to withstand stress. Thus, the reinforcing gasket protects the exciter and improves its reliability. Furthermore, the connection between the reinforcing plate and the reinforcing gasket allows them to be connected to the screen as a single unit, thereby improving assembly efficiency. The combined structure of the reinforcing plate and the reinforcing gasket provides increased structural strength and a better reinforcement effect. Furthermore, after the reinforcing sheet and the reinforcing gasket are connected together, the third connecting section can be reinforced at the connection between the reinforcing sheet and the reinforcing gasket, which can achieve a good reinforcement effect for the flexible circuit board.

[0022] For example, the reinforcing gasket and the non-display surface may be connected via a first adhesive layer, and the reinforcing gasket and the actuator may be adhesively connected via a second adhesive layer.

[0023] Since the reinforcing gasket can be used to withstand part of the impact force acting on the screen when the display surface of the screen is impacted, the structural strength of the reinforcing gasket determines the protective effect of the reinforcing gasket. On this basis, in some embodiments, in order to ensure the structural strength of the reinforcing gasket, the thickness of the reinforcing gasket can be increased, but this will increase the space occupied by the reinforcing gasket and increase the thickness of the electronic device. In order to avoid this problem, a material with greater rigidity can be selected to make the reinforcing gasket to take into account both structural strength and thickness. In some embodiments, the reinforcing gasket can be a metal part. Exemplarily, the reinforcing gasket can be a stainless steel part, an aluminum alloy part, a magnesium-aluminum alloy part, etc.

[0024] In some embodiments, the thickness of the reinforcing gasket is greater than or equal to 0.1 mm and less than or equal to 1 mm. This ensures the structural strength of the reinforcing gasket while reducing the space occupied by the reinforcing gasket in the thickness direction of the electronic device, thereby facilitating a lightweight and thin design of the electronic device.

[0025] In one possible implementation of the first aspect, in order to improve the connection strength between the reinforcing sheet and the reinforcing gasket, simplify their processing, and reduce manufacturing costs, the reinforcing gasket and the reinforcing sheet are integrally formed. Exemplarily, when the reinforcing sheet and the reinforcing gasket are both metal, for example, the reinforcing sheet and the reinforcing gasket can be processed using a stamping process, or they can be processed using a metal powder injection molding (MIM) process. Furthermore, exemplarily, when the reinforcing sheet and the reinforcing gasket are plastic, they can be processed using an injection molding process.

[0026] In one possible implementation of the first aspect, the reinforcing gasket is connected to the reinforcing sheet to form a reinforcing base plate, and the orthographic projection of the flexible circuit board on the non-display surface is located within the orthographic projection of the reinforcing base plate on the non-display surface. This prevents the flexible circuit board from becoming excessively large in circumferential dimensions and occupying space within the electronic device, and also improves the reliability of the reinforcing base plate in reinforcing the flexible circuit board.

[0027] For example, in order to prevent the circumferential size of the flexible circuit board from being too large and occupying space inside the electronic device, the orthographic projection of the first electrical connection section on the non-display surface is located within the outer contour of the orthographic projection of the actuator on the non-display surface.

[0028] In one possible implementation of the first aspect, the reinforcing gasket is connected to the reinforcing sheet to form a curved reinforcing bottom sheet, which is arched toward one circumferential side of the screen to define a relief notch. A first electronic component is provided on a surface of the circuit board facing the screen, and at least a portion of an orthographic projection of the first electronic component on the non-display surface is located within the orthographic projection of the relief notch on the non-display surface. This facilitates utilizing the relief notch to avoid the first electronic component, thereby optimizing the structural layout of the electronic device and achieving a compact structure.

[0029] In a possible implementation of the first aspect, the first electronic component is a camera module, the screen has a light-transmitting portion, and the light-transmitting portion is opposite to a light incident surface of the camera module.

[0030] In one possible implementation of the first aspect, the exciter and the screen are stacked, and the flexible printed circuit board is integrally stacked and fixed to a surface of the exciter facing away from the screen. The orthographic projection of the conductive contact portion on the non-display surface is located within the orthographic projection of the exciter on the non-display surface. This further reduces the size of the flexible printed circuit board, saving layout space within the electronic device, and also eliminates the need for a reinforcement sheet, thereby reducing costs.

[0031] In a possible implementation of the first aspect, the conductive abutting portion is a pad. In this way, the conductive abutting portion does not occupy space in the electronic device, which is beneficial for saving space in the electronic device, optimizing the structure of the electronic device, and facilitating processing and manufacturing.

[0032] In one possible implementation of the first aspect, the conductive abutting portion includes an abutting surface that abuts against the conductive elastic member, and the equivalent diameter of the orthographic projection of the abutting surface on the non-display surface is greater than or equal to 2 mm and less than or equal to 6 mm. Thus, the abutting surface of the conductive abutting portion can mate with conductive elastic members of varying sizes within the dimensional tolerance of the conductive elastic member, ensuring reliable abutment between the conductive elastic member and the conductive abutting portion.

[0033] Exemplarily, the equivalent diameter d1 of the orthographic projection of the abutting surface on the non-display surface of the screen is 2 mm, 2.4 mm, 2.5 mm, 3 mm, 3.4 mm, 4 mm, 4.2 mm, 4.5 mm, 4.8 mm, 5 mm, 5.2 mm, 5.5 mm, or 5.8 mm.

[0034] In a possible implementation of the first aspect, the abutting surface may be a plane, thereby simplifying the processing of the abutting surface.

[0035] In a possible implementation of the first aspect, the abutting surface may be a curved surface that is concave toward the screen, such as a spherical crown surface, which is conducive to improving the reliability of the cooperation between the abutting surface and the conductive elastic member.

[0036] In one possible implementation of the first aspect, the actuator is a piezoelectric ceramic actuator. The piezoelectric ceramic actuator includes a piezoelectric ceramic sheet, which is an electronic sound-generating element composed of a piezoelectric ceramic dielectric material placed between two electrodes. When an AC audio signal is connected to the two electrodes, the piezoelectric ceramic dielectric between the two electrodes will deform, causing the piezoelectric ceramic sheet to vibrate according to the frequency of the signal, thereby generating sound. Piezoelectric ceramic sheets have the advantages of small thickness, low power consumption, and high sensitivity. Using a piezoelectric ceramic actuator including a piezoelectric ceramic sheet can reduce the thickness of electronic equipment while achieving screen sound generation, which is conducive to achieving a lightweight and thin design of electronic equipment.

[0037] In one possible implementation of the first aspect, the exciter is a micro-vibration unit exciter. Micro-vibration unit exciters, also known as linear exciters, operate on a principle similar to linear motors, utilizing the interaction between electric and magnetic fields to generate a force field, thereby causing screen vibration. The micro-vibration unit exciter has a relatively balanced and flat frequency response within the speech range, ensuring pleasant listening experience for screen sound.

[0038] In a possible implementation of the first aspect, the exciter and the screen are stacked, and the exciter module further includes a reinforcing gasket, which is stacked and fixed between the exciter and the non-display surface. The exciter is connected to the screen with the help of the reinforcing gasket. When the exciter vibrates, it can drive the reinforcing gasket to vibrate, and then drive the screen to vibrate. In this way, on the one hand, the exciter and the screen can be separated by the reinforcing gasket. When the screen is impacted, the impact force acting on the screen display surface can be prevented from being directly transmitted to the exciter, thereby reducing the stress on the exciter and preventing damage to the exciter; on the other hand, after the reinforcing gasket is provided, it is also beneficial to improve the structural strength of the exciter and improve the exciter's ability to resist stress. Therefore, the exciter can be protected by the reinforcing gasket, which is beneficial to improving the reliability of the exciter.

[0039] For example, the reinforcing gasket and the non-display surface may be connected via a first adhesive layer, and the reinforcing gasket and the actuator may be adhesively connected via a second adhesive layer.

[0040] In one possible implementation of the first aspect, the orthographic projection of the exciter on the reinforcing gasket is located within the outer peripheral edge of the reinforcing gasket. This allows the circumferential dimension of the reinforcing gasket to be greater than the circumferential dimension of the exciter. This facilitates utilizing the dimensional difference between the reinforcing gasket and the exciter to absorb dimensional tolerances of the exciter and also helps ensure the reliability of the reinforcing gasket's reinforcement of the exciter.

[0041] In one possible implementation of the first aspect, the distance between the orthographic projection of the exciter on the reinforcing gasket and the outer peripheral edge of the reinforcing gasket is greater than or equal to 0.2 mm and less than or equal to 0.3 mm. This configuration helps ensure that the dimensional difference between the reinforcing gasket and the exciter fully absorbs the dimensional tolerance of the exciter and also helps ensure the reliability of the reinforcing gasket's reinforcement of the exciter. It also prevents the reinforcing gasket from being too large in its circumferential dimension, thereby occupying a large amount of space within the electronic device.

[0042] In one possible implementation of the first aspect, the electronic device includes a structural member disposed around the periphery of the actuator module, with an assembly gap formed between the outer peripheral surface of the actuator module and the structural member. This arrangement facilitates utilizing the assembly gap to accommodate dimensional tolerances of the actuator module, thereby ensuring reliable assembly of the actuator module. Furthermore, it prevents the structural member from interfering with the operation of the actuator, thereby ensuring reliable driving of the screen by the actuator.

[0043] In a possible implementation of the first aspect, the minimum width of the assembly gap is 0.2 mm to 1 mm.

[0044] In a possible implementation of the first aspect, the conductive elastic member is a spring or a spring, thereby achieving a simple structure and high elasticity.

[0045] In a possible implementation of the first aspect, the conductive elastic member is conductive foam, thereby reducing the cost.

[0046] In a possible implementation of the first aspect, in order to improve the structural strength of the conductive elastic member and thereby improve the working reliability of the conductive elastic member, the conductive elastic member is a metal member.

[0047] In one possible implementation of the first aspect, considering the wear and tear of the conductive elastic member and the oxidation of the conductive elastic member after long-term use, the surface of the conductive elastic member is covered with an anti-oxidation layer. This not only helps prevent oxidation of the conductive elastic member and improve the reliability of the conductive elastic member's electrical connection, but also helps improve the wear resistance of the conductive elastic member.

[0048] Exemplarily, the anti-oxidation layer may be a gold-plated layer.

[0049] In a possible implementation of the first aspect, to ensure that the conductive elastic member can be reliably compressed between the flexible circuit board and the circuit board, the height of the conductive elastic member in a freely retractable state is 0.45 to 0.9 mm.

[0050] In a possible implementation of the first aspect, the electronic device further includes: a housing assembly and a folding screen. The housing assembly includes a first housing, a second housing, and a hinge mechanism connected between the first and second housings; the folding screen includes a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion, the third portion being connected between the first and second portions, the first portion supporting and fixed to the support surface of the first housing, the second portion supporting and fixed to the support surface of the second housing, and the third portion supporting and fixed to the support surface of the hinge mechanism; the screen is fixed to an end of the second housing facing away from the second portion, and defines a second accommodating cavity with the second housing, with the circuit board fixed within the second accommodating cavity; the electronic device is capable of switching between an unfolded state and a folded state. In the unfolded state, the first portion, the second portion, and the third portion are oriented in the same direction and are coplanar; in the folded state, the first portion faces the second portion. Thus, the screen of the foldable electronic device can generate sound.

[0051] In a possible implementation of the first aspect, the second shell includes a second middle plate and a second frame, one side surface of the second middle plate in the thickness direction forms a support surface of the second shell, the screen is stacked on the side of the second middle plate away from the second part, the second frame is arranged around the edge of the second middle plate and the screen, and the second middle plate, the second frame and the screen define a second accommodating cavity.

[0052] In a possible implementation of the first aspect, the second frame and the second middle plate are integrally formed, which helps to improve the connection strength between the second frame and the second middle plate, simplify the processing technology, and reduce assembly costs.

[0053] In one possible implementation of the first aspect, the second frame and the second middle plate may be assembled and connected, with methods including but not limited to gluing, welding, snap-fitting, or screwing. This configuration simplifies the mold structure of the second frame and the second middle plate, facilitating independent processing and manufacturing of the second frame and the second middle plate.

[0054] In a second aspect, the present application provides a method for assembling an electronic device, comprising the following steps: fixing the exciter module as a whole to the non-display surface of the screen to form a screen assembly; wherein the exciter module includes an exciter and a flexible circuit board, and one end of the flexible circuit board is fixed to and electrically connected to the exciter; assembling the screen assembly as a whole with the circuit board to compress the conductive elastic member between the flexible circuit board and the circuit board, so that the flexible circuit board is electrically connected to the circuit board through the conductive elastic member.

[0055] The assembly method of the electronic device of the present application can simplify the assembly process and reduce assembly costs. Furthermore, by integrally securing the actuator module to the screen, the flexible circuit board is also integrally secured to the screen, simplifying the routing path of the flexible circuit board and avoiding the need for the flexible circuit board to avoid other internal structures of the electronic device during routing, thereby shortening the length of the flexible circuit board, saving space within the electronic device, and facilitating a thinner electronic device. Furthermore, the conductive elastic member is compressed between the flexible circuit board and the circuit board, enabling the flexible circuit board to be electrically connected to the circuit board via the conductive elastic member. This connection method eliminates the prior art issue of requiring the flexible circuit board to be longer due to the use of a BTB connector to prevent the flexible circuit board from being broken when the female and male sockets of the BTB connector engage. This method further shortens the length of the flexible circuit board, saves space within the electronic device, and further facilitates a thinner electronic device. Furthermore, this connection method has a reasonable and compact structural layout.

[0056] In one possible implementation of the second aspect, the flexible circuit board includes a conductive abutment portion, and the conductive elastic member is fixed to the circuit board. The screen assembly is assembled as a whole with the circuit board, compressing the conductive elastic member between the flexible circuit board and the circuit board, thereby electrically connecting the flexible circuit board to the circuit board via the conductive elastic member. Specifically, the screen assembly is assembled as a whole with the circuit board, compressing the conductive elastic member between the flexible circuit board and the circuit board, and simultaneously causing the conductive elastic member to abut and electrically connect to the conductive abutment portion, thereby electrically connecting the flexible circuit board to the circuit board via the conductive elastic member. This provides a simple structure and facilitates assembly.

[0057] In a third aspect, the present application further provides a screen assembly comprising: a screen and an actuator module. The screen has a display surface and a non-display surface disposed opposite each other; the actuator module comprises an actuator and a flexible circuit board, wherein the actuator is fixed to the non-display surface, and the flexible circuit board is entirely fixed to the non-display surface. One end of the flexible circuit board is fixed and electrically connected to the actuator, and the flexible circuit board has a conductive abutment portion.

[0058] In the screen assembly of the present application, since the exciter is fixed to the non-display surface of the screen, the flexible circuit board is also fixed to the non-display surface of the screen as a whole. This facilitates the overall fixing of the exciter module to the non-display surface of the screen, facilitating the assembly of the screen and exciter module as a whole with other structures within the electronic device, simplifying the assembly process and reducing assembly costs. Furthermore, the overall fixing of the flexible circuit board to the screen simplifies the routing path of the flexible circuit board, avoiding the problem of the flexible circuit board being long due to the need to avoid other structures within the electronic device during routing. This helps shorten the length of the flexible circuit board, saves space within the electronic device, and facilitates the thinning of the electronic device. Furthermore, the provision of a conductive abutment portion on the flexible circuit board facilitates the use of the conductive abutment portion as an external terminal of the entire exciter module, allowing the conductive abutment portion to abut and electrically connect with a conductive elastic member fixed to the circuit board.

[0059] In a possible implementation of the third aspect, the exciter can be laminated and fixed to the non-display surface of the screen, so that when the exciter is used in an electronic device, the overall thickness of the exciter and the screen can be reduced.

[0060] In one possible implementation of the third aspect, the flexible printed circuit board includes a second electrical connection section, which is laminated and fixed to the screen. The orthographic projection of the second electrical connection section on the non-display surface is located outside the orthographic projection of the actuator on the non-display surface. The conductive abutment portion is provided on the second electrical connection section. In this manner, when the conductive abutment portion abuts the conductive elastic member, vibration of the actuator is not affected, thereby improving the reliability of the actuator.

[0061] In one possible implementation of the third aspect, the flexible printed circuit board further includes a first electrical connection section and a third electrical connection section.

[0062] In one possible implementation of the third aspect, the actuator module further includes a reinforcing sheet, which is laminated and fixed between the second electrical connection section and the screen. This prevents the conductive elastic member from puncturing the screen during assembly of the electronic device or when the screen is impacted.

[0063] Since the reinforcing sheet can be used to resist part of the impact force acting on the screen when the display surface of the screen is impacted, the structural strength of the reinforcing sheet determines the protective effect of the reinforcing sheet.

[0064] In some embodiments, the thickness of the reinforcing sheet is greater than or equal to 0.1 mm and less than or equal to 1 mm. This ensures the structural strength of the reinforcing sheet while reducing the space occupied by the reinforcing sheet in the thickness direction of the electronic device, thereby facilitating a lightweight and thin design of the electronic device.

[0065] In one possible implementation of the third aspect, the exciter module further includes a reinforcing gasket located on the periphery of the reinforcing plate and connected to the plate. The reinforcing gasket is laminated and fixed between the exciter and the non-display surface. The exciter is connected to the screen via the reinforcing gasket. When the exciter vibrates, it drives the reinforcing gasket to vibrate, which in turn drives the screen to vibrate.

[0066] For example, the reinforcing gasket and the non-display surface may be connected via a first adhesive layer, and the reinforcing gasket and the actuator may be adhesively connected via a second adhesive layer.

[0067] Since the reinforcing gasket can be used to withstand part of the impact force acting on the screen when the display surface of the screen is impacted, the structural strength of the reinforcing gasket determines the protective effect of the reinforcing gasket.

[0068] In some embodiments, the thickness of the reinforcing gasket is greater than or equal to 0.1 mm and less than or equal to 1 mm. This ensures the structural strength of the reinforcing gasket while reducing the space occupied by the reinforcing gasket in the thickness direction of the electronic device, thereby facilitating a lightweight and thin design of the electronic device.

[0069] In a possible implementation of the third aspect, in order to improve the connection strength between the reinforcing sheet and the reinforcing gasket, simplify their processing technology, and reduce manufacturing costs, the reinforcing gasket and the reinforcing sheet are integrally formed. Exemplarily, when the reinforcing sheet and the reinforcing gasket are both metal, for example, the reinforcing sheet and the reinforcing gasket can be processed using a stamping process, and the reinforcing sheet and the reinforcing gasket can also be processed using a metal powder injection molding (MIM) process. Another exemplary embodiment, when the reinforcing sheet and the reinforcing gasket are plastic, the reinforcing sheet and the reinforcing gasket can be processed using an injection molding process.

[0070] In one possible implementation of the third aspect, the reinforcing gasket is connected to the reinforcing sheet to form a reinforcing base plate, and the orthographic projection of the flexible circuit board on the non-display surface is located within the orthographic projection of the reinforcing base plate on the non-display surface. This prevents the flexible circuit board from becoming excessively large in circumferential dimensions and occupying space within the electronic device, and also improves the reliability of the reinforcing base plate in reinforcing the flexible circuit board.

[0071] For example, in order to prevent the circumferential size of the flexible circuit board from being too large and occupying space inside the electronic device, the orthographic projection of the first electrical connection section on the non-display surface is located within the outer contour of the orthographic projection of the actuator on the non-display surface.

[0072] In one possible implementation of the third aspect, the reinforcing gasket is connected to the reinforcing sheet to form a curved reinforcing bottom sheet, which is arched toward one circumferential side of the screen to define a relief notch. This facilitates utilizing the relief notch to avoid the first electronic component on the circuit board, thereby optimizing the structural layout of the electronic device and achieving a compact structure.

[0073] In one possible implementation of the third aspect, the exciter and the screen are stacked, and the flexible printed circuit board is integrally stacked and fixed to a surface of the exciter facing away from the screen.

[0074] In a possible implementation of the third aspect, the conductive abutting portion is a pad. In this way, the conductive abutting portion does not occupy space in the electronic device, which is beneficial for saving space in the electronic device, optimizing the structure of the electronic device, and facilitating processing and manufacturing.

[0075] In one possible implementation of the third aspect, the conductive abutting portion includes an abutting surface that abuts against the conductive elastic member, and the equivalent diameter of the orthographic projection of the abutting surface on the non-display surface is greater than or equal to 2 mm and less than or equal to 6 mm. Thus, the abutting surface of the conductive abutting portion can mate with conductive elastic members of varying sizes within the dimensional tolerance of the conductive elastic member, ensuring reliable abutment between the conductive elastic member and the conductive abutting portion.

[0076] Exemplarily, the equivalent diameter d1 of the orthographic projection of the abutting surface on the non-display surface of the screen is 2 mm, 2.4 mm, 2.5 mm, 3 mm, 3.4 mm, 4 mm, 4.2 mm, 4.5 mm, 4.8 mm, 5 mm, 5.2 mm, 5.5 mm, or 5.8 mm.

[0077] In a possible implementation of the third aspect, the abutting surface may be a plane, thereby simplifying the processing of the abutting surface.

[0078] In a possible implementation of the third aspect, the abutting surface may be a curved surface that is concave toward the screen, such as a spherical crown surface, which is conducive to improving the reliability of the cooperation between the abutting surface and the conductive elastic member.

[0079] In a possible implementation of the third aspect, the actuator is a piezoelectric ceramic actuator. The piezoelectric ceramic actuator includes a piezoelectric ceramic sheet, which is an electronic sound-generating element. The piezoelectric ceramic sheet is composed of a piezoelectric ceramic dielectric material placed between two electrodes.

[0080] In one possible implementation of the third aspect, the exciter is a micro-vibration unit exciter. Micro-vibration unit exciters, also known as linear exciters, operate on a principle similar to linear motors, utilizing the interaction between electric and magnetic fields to generate a force field, thereby causing screen vibration. The frequency response of micro-vibration unit exciters within the speech range is relatively balanced and flat, ensuring pleasant listening experience for screen sound.

[0081] In a possible implementation of the third aspect, the exciter and the screen are stacked, and the exciter module further includes a reinforcing gasket, which is stacked and fixed between the exciter and the non-display surface. When the screen is impacted, the impact force acting on the screen display surface can be prevented from being directly transmitted to the exciter, thereby reducing the stress on the exciter and avoiding damage to the exciter; on the other hand, after the reinforcing gasket is provided, it is also beneficial to improve the structural strength of the exciter and improve the exciter's ability to resist stress. Therefore, the exciter can be protected by the reinforcing gasket, which is beneficial to improving the reliability of the exciter.

[0082] For example, the reinforcing gasket and the non-display surface may be connected via a first adhesive layer, and the reinforcing gasket and the actuator may be adhesively connected via a second adhesive layer.

[0083] In one possible implementation of the third aspect, the orthographic projection of the exciter on the reinforcing gasket is located within the outer circumferential edge of the reinforcing gasket. This allows the circumferential dimension of the reinforcing gasket to be larger than the circumferential dimension of the exciter. This facilitates utilizing the dimensional difference between the reinforcing gasket and the exciter to absorb dimensional tolerances of the exciter and also helps ensure the reliability of the reinforcing gasket's reinforcement of the exciter.

[0084] In one possible implementation of the third aspect, the distance between the orthographic projection of the exciter on the reinforcing gasket and the outer peripheral edge of the reinforcing gasket is greater than or equal to 0.2 mm and less than or equal to 0.3 mm.

[0085] In a possible implementation of the third aspect, the conductive elastic member is a spring or a spring, thereby achieving a simple structure and high elasticity.

[0086] In a possible implementation of the third aspect, the conductive elastic member is conductive foam, thereby reducing the cost.

[0087] In a possible implementation of the third aspect, in order to improve the structural strength of the conductive elastic member and thereby improve the working reliability of the conductive elastic member, the conductive elastic member is a metal member.

[0088] In one possible implementation of the third aspect, considering the wear and tear of the conductive elastic member and the oxidation of the conductive elastic member after long-term use, the surface of the conductive elastic member is covered with an anti-oxidation layer. This not only helps prevent oxidation of the conductive elastic member and improve the reliability of the conductive elastic member's electrical connection, but also helps improve the wear resistance of the conductive elastic member.

[0089] Exemplarily, the anti-oxidation layer may be a gold-plated layer. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0113] The present application provides an electronic device. The electronic device is a type of electronic device that includes an under-screen actuator. Specifically, the electronic device may be a portable terminal device or other suitable terminal device. For example, the electronic device includes, but is not limited to, a mobile phone, a tablet personal computer, a laptop computer, a personal digital assistant (PDA), a personal computer, a notebook computer, an in-vehicle device, etc. The electronic device may be a flat electronic device or a foldable electronic device.

[0114] In the following description, two types of electronic devices, namely, a flat electronic device and a foldable electronic device, are used as examples for explanation.

[0115] Next, a flat-plate-shaped electronic device will be introduced.

[0116] Please refer to Figures 1 and 2. Figure 1 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a flat-shaped electronic device 100 provided in some embodiments of the present application, and Figure 2 is an exploded schematic diagram of the flat-shaped electronic device 100 shown in Figure 1. The electronic device 100 shown in Figures 1 and 2 is described using a flat-shaped mobile phone as an example, which does not constitute a special limitation on the present application. Specifically, the electronic device 100 includes a screen 10, a housing 25, a circuit board 30, a battery 40, an actuator module 60, and a conductive elastic member (not shown in Figures 1 and 2).

[0117] In the embodiments shown in Figures 1 and 2, the electronic device 100 is in the shape of a rectangular flat plate. To facilitate the description of the various embodiments below, an XYZ coordinate system is established. Specifically, the width direction of the electronic device 100 is defined as the X-axis direction, the length direction of the electronic device 100 is defined as the Y-axis direction, and the thickness direction of the electronic device 100 is defined as the Z-axis direction. It is understood that the coordinate system setting of the electronic device 100 can be flexibly set according to actual needs and is not specifically limited here.

[0118] The screen 10 is used to display information such as images, videos, and text. Please continue to refer to Figure 2 and, in conjunction with Figure 3, Figure 3 is a schematic diagram of the cross-sectional structure of the electronic device 100 shown in Figure 1 at line AA. The screen 10 includes a display surface 10a and a non-display surface 10b disposed opposite each other. The display surface 10a has a display interface for displaying information such as images, videos, and text. When a user uses the electronic device 100, the display surface 10a of the display screen 12 faces the user to present information such as images, videos, or text to the user.

[0119] Please continue to refer to Figures 2 and 3. The shell 25 includes a middle frame and a back cover 251. The middle frame includes a middle plate 253 and a frame 252. The middle plate 253 is stacked on the side facing the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10. The back cover 251 is stacked on the side of the middle plate 253 away from the screen 10. The frame 252 is arranged around the edge of the screen 10, the middle plate 253 and the back cover 251. The middle plate 253, the frame 252 and the back cover 251 form a accommodating cavity Q. The circuit board 30 and the battery 40 are fixed in the accommodating cavity Q, that is, the circuit board 30 and the battery 40 are both located between the middle plate 253 and the back cover 251. The middle plate 253 has a mounting hole 2532 that passes through the middle plate 253 along the thickness direction of the middle plate 253 (that is, the Z-axis direction).

[0120] The actuator module 60 can drive the screen 10 to vibrate in a direction perpendicular to the non-display surface 10 b (ie, the Z-axis direction). Continuing to refer to FIG. 3 , the actuator module 60 includes an actuator 61 , a reinforcing pad 62 , and a flexible circuit board 63 .

[0121] The exciter 61 is used to drive the screen 10 to vibrate, thereby generating sound waves through the vibration of the screen 10, thereby causing the screen 10 to emit sound. Specifically, referring to FIG3 , the exciter 61 is disposed on the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10. To ensure sufficient vibration space for the exciter 61 while reducing the thickness of the electronic device 100, at least a portion of the exciter 61 is accommodated within the mounting hole 2532.

[0122] For example, to prevent interference between the actuator 61 and the circuit board 30, the position on the circuit board 30 directly opposite the actuator 61 is left blank (i.e., no device is installed at this position). Alternatively, a device on the circuit board 30 directly opposite the actuator 61 (e.g., a shielding cover) is formed with a relief portion (not shown) for avoiding the actuator 61.

[0123] Continuing with Figure 3, reinforcing spacer 62 is laminated and fixed between actuator 61 and non-display surface 10b. Energizer 61 is connected to screen 10 via reinforcing spacer 62. Vibration of actuator 61 drives reinforcing spacer 62, which in turn drives screen 10. A portion of reinforcing spacer 62 can be located within mounting hole 2532.

[0124] Please continue to refer to Figure 3 and, in conjunction with Figure 4, show an exploded view of the structure formed by a portion of the frame 252, a portion of the middle plate 253, and the actuator module 60, and the circuit board 30, as shown in Figure 2. In Figure 4, the conductive elastic member 70 is hidden on the surface of the circuit board 30 facing the middle plate 253, so the outline is shown in dashed lines. The flexible circuit board 63 includes a first electrical connection section 631 and a second electrical connection section 632. The first electrical connection section 631 is laminated and fixed to the surface of the actuator 61 facing the circuit board 30 and is electrically connected to the actuator 61. The second electrical connection section 632 is laminated and disposed on the surface of the middle plate 253 facing the circuit board 30. The middle plate 253 serves to reinforce the second electrical connection section 632. Specifically, the surface of the middle plate 253 facing the circuit board 30 has a positioning groove 2531. The positioning groove 2531 is spaced apart from the mounting hole 2532. The end of the second electrical connection section 632, facing away from the first electrical connection section 631, is fixed within the positioning groove 2531. The positioning groove 2531 can play a role in positioning the second electrical connection section 632. The portion of the second electrical connection section 632 located in the positioning groove 2531 has a conductive abutment portion 633.

[0125] The conductive elastic member 70 is disposed on the surface of the circuit board 30 facing the middle plate 253 and is electrically connected to the circuit board 30. The conductive elastic member 70 abuts against the conductive abutment portion 633 (see Figure 3). In this way, the actuator 61 can be electrically connected to the circuit board 30 via the flexible circuit board 63 and the conductive elastic member 70, allowing the actuator 61 to receive control signals from the circuit board.

[0126] In the electronic device 100 of the above embodiment, a mounting hole 2532 is provided on the middle plate 253, and at least a portion of the exciter 61 is accommodated in the mounting hole 2532. This not only facilitates the fixation of the exciter 61 to the screen, but also the exciter 61 being accommodated in the mounting hole 2532 makes the structure of the electronic device 100 more compact, thereby reducing the thickness of the electronic device 100. In addition, the first electrical connection section 631 of the flexible circuit board 63 is stacked and fixed on the surface of the exciter 61 facing the circuit board 30, and the second electrical connection section 632 is stacked and arranged on the surface of the middle plate 253 facing the circuit board 30, and the conductive elastic member 70 is abutted against the conductive abutting portion 633 on the second electrical connection section 632, which not only realizes the electrical connection between the flexible circuit board 63 and the circuit board 30, but also simplifies the routing path of the flexible circuit board 63, and avoids the redundancy problem of the flexible circuit board 63 caused by the use of a BTB connector to connect the flexible circuit board 63 and the circuit board 30, which is conducive to shortening the length of the flexible circuit board 63, saving the layout space inside the electronic device 100, and further realizing the thinness of the electronic device 100, while simplifying the disassembly and assembly of the flexible circuit board 63 inside the electronic device 100.

[0127] Furthermore, for this electronic device 100, since the second electrical connection section 632 needs to be reinforced by the middle plate 253 and secured to the surface of the middle plate 253 facing the circuit board 30, during the specific assembly process of the electronic device 100, the screen 10 and the middle frame can be secured together first. The actuator module 60 is then installed into the mounting hole 2532 on the side of the middle frame away from the screen 10. The actuator module 60 and the screen 10 are secured using adhesive or other means. The second electrical connection section 632 of the flexible circuit board 63 is then secured to the middle plate 253. The circuit board 30 is then installed, the conductive elastic member 70 is compressed, and finally, the back cover 251 is assembled to complete the assembly of the electronic device 100. It is understood that the disassembly process can be the reverse of the aforementioned assembly process.

[0128] The following is an introduction to foldable electronic devices.

[0129] For a foldable electronic device, under different usage requirements, the foldable electronic device can be unfolded to an unfolded state or folded to a folded state.

[0130] Please refer to Figure 5, which is a structural diagram of a foldable electronic device 100 provided in some embodiments of the present application. In this embodiment, the foldable electronic device 100 is a foldable mobile phone, which does not constitute a special limitation on the present application. Specifically, the foldable electronic device 100 includes a folding screen 80, a housing assembly 20, a circuit board 30, a battery 40 and a screen assembly (not shown in Figure 5). In Figure 5, since the circuit board 30 and the battery 40 are hidden inside the electronic device 100, the outline is shown in dotted lines.

[0131] It should be understood that FIG5 only schematically illustrates some components included in the foldable electronic device 100, and the actual shape, actual size, actual position and actual structure of these components are not limited by FIG5.

[0132] The foldable screen 80 is used to display images, videos, etc. Specifically, the foldable screen 80 can be, but is not limited to, an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display, an active-matrix organic light-emitting diode or an active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) display, a mini organic light-emitting diode (MID) display, a micro organic light-emitting diode (MID) display, a micro organic light-emitting diode (MID) display, a quantum dot light-emitting diode (QLED) display, and the like.

[0133] Please refer to Figure 6, which is a schematic diagram of the electronic device 100 in the unfolded state shown in Figure 5. The folding screen 80 includes a first portion 81, a second portion 82, and a third portion 83 connected between the first portion 81 and the second portion 82. Among them, at least the third portion 83 of the folding screen 80 is made of a flexible material to allow the folding screen 80 to switch between the unfolded state and the folded state. The first portion 81 and the second portion 82 can be made of a flexible material, or a rigid material, or partially made of a rigid material and partially made of a flexible material, which is not specifically limited here.

[0134] To facilitate the description of the various embodiments below, an XYZ coordinate system is established for the second portion 82. Specifically, the length direction of the second portion 82 is defined as the Y-axis direction (i.e., the extension direction of the folding axis of the folding screen 80), the thickness direction of the second portion 82 is defined as the Z-axis direction, and the direction perpendicular to both the Y-axis and the Z-axis directions is defined as the X-axis direction (i.e., the width direction of the second portion 82). It will be understood that the coordinate system setting is not limited to this and can be flexibly set according to actual needs, and is not specifically limited here.

[0135] The foldable screen 80 can switch between an unfolded state and a folded state. When the foldable screen 80 is in the unfolded state, as shown in Figure 6, the first portion 81, the second portion 82, and the third portion 83 are coplanar and oriented in the same direction. In this state, a large-screen display is achieved, providing users with richer information and a better user experience.

[0136] Please refer to Figure 7, which is a three-dimensional view of the foldable electronic device 100 in a folded state according to Figure 5. When the folding screen 80 is in the folded state, the third part 83 is in a bent state, and the first part 81 (not shown in Figure 7) faces the second part 82 (not shown in Figure 7). In this state, the folding screen 80 is not visible to the user, and the shell assembly 20 is protected outside the folding screen 80 to prevent the folding screen 80 from being scratched by hard objects. In this way, the foldable electronic device 100 is an inward-folding electronic device. In this state, the volume of the foldable electronic device 100 can be reduced, which facilitates the storage and carrying of the foldable electronic device 100.

[0137] The housing assembly 20 is used to support and secure the foldable screen 80 and to house and protect the internal electronic components of the foldable electronic device 100. Furthermore, the housing assembly 20 allows the foldable screen 80 to switch between an unfolded state and a folded state. Please refer to Figure 8, which is a schematic diagram of the partial structure of the foldable electronic device 100 shown in Figures 6 and 7, excluding the foldable screen 80. Specifically, the housing assembly 20 includes a first housing 21, a second housing 22, and a hinge mechanism 23.

[0138] It should be understood that FIG8 only schematically illustrates some components of the housing assembly 20 , and the actual shapes, actual sizes, actual positions, and actual structures of these components are not limited by FIG8 .

[0139] The first shell 21 is used to fix and support the first part 81 of the folding screen 80 in Figure 6. Specifically, the first shell 21 has a support surface M1. The first shell 21 fixes and supports the first part 81 of the folding screen 80 in Figure 6 through the support surface M1. Exemplarily, the connection relationship between the support surface M1 and the first part 81 includes but is not limited to gluing. The material of the first shell 21 includes but is not limited to metal, ceramic, plastic and glass. In order to achieve the lightweight and thinness of the electronic device 100 while ensuring the structural strength of the first shell 21, the material of the first shell 21 can be selected from metal.

[0140] The second shell 22 is used to fix and support the second part 82 of the folding screen 80 in Figure 6. Specifically, the second shell 22 has a support surface M2. The second shell 22 fixes and supports the second part 82 of the folding screen 80 in Figure 1 through the support surface M2. Exemplarily, the connection relationship between the support surface M2 and the second part 82 includes but is not limited to gluing. The material of the second shell 22 includes but is not limited to metal, ceramic, plastic and glass. In order to achieve the lightweight and thinness of the electronic device 100 while ensuring the structural strength of the second shell 22, the material of the second shell 22 can be selected from metal.

[0141] The hinge mechanism 23 is used to support the third part 83 of the folding screen 80 shown in Figure 6. Specifically, the hinge mechanism 23 has a support surface M3. The hinge mechanism 23 can support the third part 83 of the folding screen 80 in Figure 6 through the support surface M3. The hinge mechanism 23 is connected between the first shell 21 and the second shell 22. The first shell 21 and the second shell 22 are configured to be rotatably connected through the hinge mechanism 23 to enable the foldable electronic device 100 to switch between the unfolded state and the folded state. The specific structure and working principle of the hinge mechanism 23 are already well known to those skilled in the art and will not be repeated here.

[0142] 9 and 10 , FIG9 is an exploded view of the structure shown in FIG8 , and FIG10 is a cross-sectional view of the electronic device 100 at line BB shown in FIG6 . The first housing 21 includes a first middle frame and a first back cover 211 .

[0143] Specifically, the first middle frame includes a first middle plate 213 and a first frame 212 .

[0144] The first middle plate 213 is flat. For example, the first middle plate 213 is a rectangular plate or a rounded rectangular plate. Of course, in other examples, the first middle plate 213 can also be a semicircular plate, a diamond plate, an oblong plate, an elliptical plate, or a special shape. One side surface of the first middle plate 213 in the thickness direction forms the aforementioned support surface M1. The material of the first middle plate 213 includes, but is not limited to, glass, plastic, or ceramic.

[0145] The first frame 212 is arranged around the edge of the first middle plate 213, and the first frame 212 is arranged around the edge of the first part 81. In some examples, the first frame 212 and the first middle plate 213 are integrally formed parts, which is beneficial to improve the connection strength between the first frame 212 and the first middle plate 213, simplify the processing technology, and reduce assembly costs. In other examples, the first frame 212 and the first middle plate 213 can also be assembled and connected, and the assembly connection method is not limited to gluing, welding, clamping or screw connection. This arrangement can simplify the mold structure of the first frame 212 and the first middle plate 213, and facilitate the independent processing and manufacturing of the first frame 212 and the first middle plate 213. The material of the first frame 212 includes but is not limited to glass, plastic or ceramic.

[0146] The first back cover 211 is stacked on a side of the first middle plate 213 away from the support surface M1 of the first middle plate 213. The first back cover 211 is in the shape of a flat plate. The shape of the first back cover 211 can be adapted to the shape of the first middle plate 213. The first frame 212 is arranged around the edge of the first back cover 211. Exemplarily, the connection method between the first back cover 211 and the first frame 212 includes but is not limited to gluing. A first accommodating cavity Q1 is formed between the first middle frame and the first back cover 211. The first accommodating cavity Q1 is used to accommodate internal components of the electronic device 100.

[0147] 9 and 10 , the second shell 22 (also referred to as a second middle frame) includes a second middle plate 223 and a second side frame 222 .

[0148] The second middle plate 223 is flat. For example, the second middle plate 223 is a rectangular flat plate or a rounded rectangular flat plate. Of course, in other examples, the second middle plate 223 can also be a semicircular flat plate, a diamond-shaped flat plate, an oblong flat plate, an elliptical flat plate, or a special shape. One side surface of the second middle plate 223 in the thickness direction (i.e., the Z-axis direction) forms the aforementioned support surface M2. The second middle plate 223 is stacked with the second portion 82. The material of the second middle plate 223 includes, but is not limited to, glass, plastic, or ceramic.

[0149] The second frame 222 is arranged around the edge of the second middle plate 223, and the second frame 222 is arranged around the edge of the second portion 82. In some examples, the second frame 222 and the second middle plate 223 are integrally formed, which helps to improve the connection strength between the second frame 222 and the second middle plate 223, simplify the processing technology, and reduce assembly costs. In other examples, the second frame 222 and the second middle plate 223 can also be assembled and connected, and the assembly connection method includes but is not limited to gluing, welding, clamping or screw connection. This arrangement can simplify the mold structure of the second frame 222 and the second middle plate 223, and facilitate the independent processing and manufacturing of the second frame 222 and the second middle plate 223.

[0150] The screen assembly includes a screen 10. The screen 10 is used to display information such as images, videos, and text. Please continue to refer to Figure 9, and in combination with Figure 10, the screen 10 includes a display surface 10a and a non-display surface 10b arranged opposite to each other. The display surface 10a has a display interface. When a user uses the electronic device 100, the display surface 10a of the screen 10 faces the user to present information such as images, videos, and text to the user. The screen 10 is fixed to the end of the second shell 22 away from the second part 82. Specifically, the screen 10 is stacked on the side of the second middle plate 223 away from the second part 82, and the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10 faces the second middle plate 223. The second frame 222 is arranged around the edge of the screen 10. For a foldable electronic device 100, the support surface M2 of the second middle plate 223 needs to support the second part 82 of the folding screen 80 to ensure the flatness of the folding screen 80. Based on this, a second accommodating cavity Q2 is defined by the side surface of the second middle plate 223 facing away from the supporting surface M2, the second frame 222, and the screen 10. That is, the second housing 22 and the screen 10 define the second accommodating cavity Q2. The second accommodating cavity Q2 is used to accommodate the internal components of the electronic device 100.

[0151] Specifically, the screen 10 includes a light-transmitting cover plate 11 and a display screen 12 .

[0152] The transparent cover plate 11 is flat. The material of the transparent cover plate 11 includes but is not limited to glass, plastic and ceramic. The transparent cover plate 11 is mainly used to protect the display screen 12 and prevent dust.

[0153] The display screen 12 is laminated and fixed to the surface of the transparent cover plate 11 facing the second middle plate 223. The display surface of the display screen 12 faces the transparent cover plate 11, so that the images, videos, and other information displayed on the display screen 12 can be viewed by the user through the transparent cover plate 11. The connection between the transparent cover plate 11 and the display screen 12 includes, but is not limited to, gluing. The surface of the transparent cover plate 11 facing away from the display screen 12 forms the display surface 10a, and the surface of the display screen 12 facing the second middle plate 223 forms the non-display surface 10b.

[0154] The display screen 12 can be a flexible display screen or a rigid display screen. For example, the display screen 12 can be an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display screen, an active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) display screen, a mini organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display screen, a micro organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display screen, a micro organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display screen, a quantum dot light-emitting diode (QLED) display screen, or a liquid crystal display (LCD), etc.

[0155] The circuit board 30 is used to integrate the control chip. The circuit board 30 can be fixed in the second storage cavity Q2, fixed relative to the screen 10. Specifically, the circuit board 30 is fixed to the side surface of the second middle plate 223 facing the screen 10. For example, the circuit board 30 can be fixed to the side surface of the second middle plate 223 facing the screen 10 by means of threaded connection, clamping, welding, etc. In other examples, when there are multiple circuit boards 30, some of the circuit boards 30 are fixed in the first storage cavity Q1, and other circuit boards 30 are fixed in the second storage cavity Q2. It is sufficient to ensure that a circuit board 30 is fixed in the second storage cavity Q2 corresponding to the screen 10.

[0156] The control chip may be, for example, an application processor (AP), a double data rate synchronous dynamic random access memory (DDR), or a universal flash storage (UFS). In some embodiments, the circuit board 30 is electrically connected to the display screen 12 and is used to control the display screen 12 to display information such as images, videos, or text.

[0157] The circuit board 30 can be a rigid circuit board, a flexible circuit board, or a combination of rigid and flexible circuit boards. The circuit board 30 can be made of FR-4 dielectric board, Rogers dielectric board, or a hybrid of FR-4 and Rogers dielectric board. FR-4 is a flame-retardant material grade, and Rogers dielectric board is a high-frequency board.

[0158] The battery 40 is used to provide power to the circuit board 30, the display screen 12, the folding screen 80, etc. The battery 40 is fixed in the first accommodating cavity Q1. For example, the battery 40 can be fixed on the side surface of the first middle plate 213 facing the first back cover 211 by means of threaded connection, clamping, welding, etc. In other examples, the battery 40 can also be fixed in the second accommodating cavity Q2. Alternatively, when there are multiple batteries 40, some of the batteries 40 are fixed in the first accommodating cavity Q1, and the other batteries 40 are fixed in the second accommodating cavity Q2. The battery 40 may include but is not limited to nickel-cadmium batteries, nickel-metal hydride batteries, lithium batteries or other types of batteries.

[0159] On this basis, in order to realize the private call function of the foldable electronic device 100 , please continue to refer to FIG. 9 and FIG. 10 , the screen assembly further includes an exciter module 60 .

[0160] 11 and 12 , FIG11 is an exploded view of the actuator module 60 and the circuit board 30 shown in FIG9 , and FIG12 is an exploded view of the actuator module 60 shown in FIG11 . The actuator module 60 includes an actuator 61 and a flexible circuit board 63 .

[0161] For the foldable electronic device 100, considering the convenience of the user talking on the electronic device 100, the exciter 61 can be fixed to the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10. Exemplarily, the connection method between the exciter 61 and the screen 10 includes but is not limited to gluing. Since the user often folds the electronic device 100 in a folded state when using the electronic device 100 for talking, the exciter 61 is fixed to the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10. The exciter 61 can be used to drive the screen 10 to vibrate in a direction perpendicular to the non-display surface 10b (that is, the Z-axis direction in Figure 10) to generate sound waves through the vibration of the screen 10, so that the screen 10 in the foldable electronic device 100 can make sounds, which is convenient for users to use.

[0162] The actuator 61 may be in the form of a sheet or plate. The actuator 61 may be laminated and fixed to the screen 10. This reduces the thickness of the actuator 61, which, when used in the electronic device 100, can help reduce the size of the electronic device 100 in the thickness direction of the actuator 61.

[0163] Types of actuator 61 include, but are not limited to, piezoelectric ceramic actuators and micro-vibration unit actuators. This application does not limit the type of actuator 61. The piezoelectric ceramic actuator 61 comprises a piezoelectric ceramic sheet, which is an electronic sound-generating element composed of a piezoelectric ceramic dielectric material placed between two electrodes. When an AC audio signal is applied to the two electrodes, the piezoelectric ceramic dielectric between the two electrodes deforms, causing the piezoelectric ceramic sheet to vibrate according to the frequency of the signal, thereby producing sound. Piezoelectric ceramic sheets have advantages such as small thickness, low power consumption, and high sensitivity. Using a piezoelectric ceramic actuator including a piezoelectric ceramic sheet can reduce the thickness of the electronic device 100 while enabling the screen 10 to produce sound, facilitating a lightweight and thin design for the electronic device 100. A micro-vibration unit actuator, also known as a linear actuator, operates on a principle similar to a linear motor, utilizing the interaction between an electric field and a magnetic field to generate a force field, thereby causing the screen 10 to vibrate. The frequency response of the micro-vibration unit actuator 61 within the speech range is relatively balanced and flat, ensuring that the sound produced by the screen 10 has a pleasant listening experience.

[0164] On this basis, in order to realize the driving function of the actuator 61 on the screen 10 in the foldable electronic device 100, it is necessary to design the connection method and layout relationship between the actuator module 60 and the circuit board 30.

[0165] In the aforementioned flat electronic device 100, a mounting hole 2532 is defined in the middle plate 253. Meanwhile, the actuator 61 is positioned within the mounting hole 2532 and secured to the screen 10. The second electrical connection section 632 of the flexible printed circuit board 63, electrically connected to the actuator 61, is secured to the surface of the middle plate 253 facing the printed circuit board 30. The conductive elastic member 70 on the printed circuit board 30 abuts against the second electrical connection section 632. In other words, a portion of the actuator module 60 (i.e., the reinforcing gasket 62, the actuator 61, and the first electrical connection section 631) is secured to the screen 10, while a portion of the actuator module 60 (i.e., the second electrical connection section 632) is secured to the surface of the middle plate 253 facing the printed circuit board 30. This arrangement achieves the aforementioned advantageous effects.

[0166] In a foldable electronic device 100, if the layout between the actuator module 60 and the circuit board 30 can be directly adapted to the structure of the aforementioned flat electronic device 100, it will inevitably save a lot of R&D costs for the electronic device 100 manufacturer. However, as previously mentioned, in order to utilize the second housing 22 to support the foldable screen 80 and ensure the flatness of the foldable screen 80, the second housing 22 and the screen 10 form a second accommodating cavity Q2, and the circuit board 30 is disposed within the second accommodating cavity Q2. In this way, in the foldable electronic device 100, the circuit board 30 is located between the screen 10 and the second middle plate 223. The relative positional relationship between the screen 10, the circuit board 30, and the second middle plate 223 is completely different from the relative positional relationship of "the middle plate 253 is located between the circuit board 30 and the screen 10" in the aforementioned flat electronic device 100.

[0167] Based on this, if the layout relationship between the exciter module 60 and the circuit board 30 in the flat electronic device 100 described above is applied to a foldable electronic device 100, a structure as shown in Figure 13 may be obtained. Figure 13 is a schematic diagram of the cross-sectional structure of another possible foldable electronic device 100 provided in this application. Specifically, referring to Figure 13, a storage space Q3 is formed between the second middle plate 223 and the foldable screen 80. The storage space Q3 accommodates the circuit board 30. The second middle plate 223 is provided with a mounting hole 2532. At the same time, the exciter 61 is set in the mounting hole 2532 and fixed to the screen 10. As a result, the second portion 82 of the foldable screen 80 cannot be supported by the support surface M2 of the second middle plate 223, and the second portion 82 of the foldable screen 80 has the problem of collapse and poor flatness. Moreover, this connection method requires that part of the exciter module 60 be fixed to the screen 10 and part be fixed to the second middle plate 223, making the assembly of the entire structure relatively complicated.

[0168] Therefore, the structural layout between the actuator 61 and the circuit board 30 in the flat electronic device 100 described above is not applicable to the foldable electronic device 100. Therefore, for the foldable electronic device 100, it is urgent to develop a new layout relationship between the actuator 61 and the circuit board 30.

[0169] The following focuses on the specific structure of the actuator module 60 for the foldable electronic device 100 provided in the embodiment of the present application and the layout relationship between the actuator module 60 and the circuit board 30.

[0170] Please refer to FIG. 14 , which is an enlarged view of the circled portion C of the foldable electronic device 100 shown in FIG. 10 .

[0171] The flexible circuit board 63 is integrally fixed to the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10 (see Figure 9 ). This facilitates the integral fixing of the actuator module 60 to the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10, facilitating the assembly of the screen 10 and the actuator module 60 as a single unit with other internal components of the electronic device 100. This simplifies the assembly process and reduces assembly costs. Furthermore, the integral fixing of the flexible circuit board 63 to the screen 10 simplifies the routing of the flexible circuit board 63, avoiding the need for the flexible circuit board 63 to avoid other internal components of the electronic device 100 during routing, resulting in a longer length of the flexible circuit board 63. This helps shorten the length of the flexible circuit board 63, saves internal space within the electronic device 100, and facilitates a thinner design for the electronic device 100.

[0172] It should be noted that the phrase "the flexible circuit board 63 is entirely fixed to the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10" means that the flexible circuit board 63 is directly or indirectly fixed to the non-display surface 10b, and that the flexible circuit board 63 is supported solely by the non-display surface 10b. When the flexible circuit board 63 is indirectly fixed to the non-display surface 10b, the intermediary between the flexible circuit board 63 and the non-display surface 10b is fixed and supported by the non-display surface 10b. The phrase "the actuator module 60 is entirely fixed to the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10" means that all components of the actuator module 60 are entirely fixed to the non-display surface of the screen 10.

[0173] One end of the flexible circuit board 63 is fixed to and electrically connected to the actuator 61. In this way, the electrode terminals of the actuator 61 can be easily led out using the flexible circuit board 63, so as to facilitate the electrical connection between the actuator 61 and the circuit board 30.

[0174] The circuit board 30 is located on a side of the actuator module 60 away from the screen 10 .

[0175] The electronic device 100 also includes a conductive elastic member 70. For example, the conductive elastic member 70 may be a spring or a shrapnel, which provides a simple structure and high elasticity. In other examples, the conductive elastic member 70 may be a conductive foam. The conductive elastic member 70 may be a metal member or a conductive plastic member. In some specific examples, the conductive elastic member 70 may be a metal member to enhance the structural strength and, therefore, the reliability of the conductive elastic member 70.

[0176] Continuing with Figure 14, the conductive elastic member 70 is compressed between the flexible circuit board 63 and the circuit board 30, enabling electrical connection between the flexible circuit board 63 and the circuit board 30 via the conductive elastic member 70. Specifically, because the flexible circuit board 63 is fixed to the screen 10, and the screen 10 and the circuit board 30 are relatively fixed, when the conductive elastic member 70 is installed between the flexible circuit board 63 and the circuit board 30, the conductive elastic member 70 is compressed by the force acting between the screen 10 and the circuit board 30. The force exerted by the screen 10 on the conductive elastic member 70 is transmitted to the conductive elastic member 70 via the flexible circuit board 63. Consequently, the conductive elastic member 70 is compressed between the flexible circuit board 63 and the circuit board 30.

[0177] This connection method does not need to consider the problem in the prior art that the flexible circuit board needs to be set longer because the flexible circuit board is connected to the circuit board using a BTB connector to prevent the flexible circuit board from breaking due to pulling the flexible circuit board when the female and male sockets of the BTB connector are engaged. It is beneficial to shorten the length of the flexible circuit board 63, save the internal space of the electronic device 100, and help to achieve a thinner electronic device 100. In addition, this connection method has a reasonable structural layout, is compact, and is easy to assemble.

[0178] To achieve electrical connection between the flexible circuit board 63 and the conductive elastic member 70, in some embodiments (referring back to Figures 11 and 12 ), the surface of the flexible circuit board 63 facing the circuit board 30 has a conductive abutment portion 633. The conductive abutment portion 633 has an abutment surface 6331 facing the circuit board 30. The conductive elastic member 70 is fixed to the circuit board 30. Exemplary connection methods between the conductive elastic member 70 and the circuit board 30 include, but are not limited to, gluing, clamping, welding, or screw connection.

[0179] The conductive elastic member 70 abuts against the abutting surface 6331 of the conductive abutting portion 633 and is electrically connected to the conductive abutting portion 633. In this way, not only is the structure simple, but also it is easy to assemble.

[0180] In other examples, the conductive elastic member is also fixed to the surface of the flexible circuit board facing the circuit board, and the circuit board has a conductive abutment portion, and the conductive elastic member on the flexible circuit board abuts the conductive abutment portion on the circuit board. Alternatively, in other examples, both the surface of the flexible circuit board facing the circuit board and the surface of the circuit board facing the flexible circuit board have conductive abutment portions. The conductive elastic member abuts between the conductive abutment portion on the flexible circuit board and the conductive abutment portion 633 on the circuit board 30. In this case, the conductive elastic member is detachably connected to the flexible circuit board and the circuit board. In the following description, the example of the surface of the flexible circuit board 63 facing the circuit board 30 having the conductive abutment portion 633 is used for explanation.

[0181] Exemplarily, the conductive abutment portion 633 is formed as a solder pad. Specifically, the solder pad can be formed by exposing a portion of the inner layer circuit of the flexible circuit board 63. In this way, the conductive abutment portion 633 does not occupy space in the Z direction of the electronic device 100, which helps save space in the electronic device 100, optimizes the structure of the electronic device 100, and facilitates processing and manufacturing. In other examples, the conductive abutment portion 633 can also be a bump fixed to the surface of the flexible circuit board 63, such as a solder joint.

[0182] In some examples, refer to FIG15 , which is a schematic diagram of the screen assembly shown in FIG9 . To ensure that the abutting surface 6331 of the conductive abutting portion 633 can mate with conductive elastic members 70 of varying sizes within the dimensional tolerance of the conductive elastic member 70 and to ensure reliable abutment between the conductive elastic member 70 and the conductive abutting portion 633 , the equivalent diameter d1 of the orthographic projection of the abutting surface 6331 on the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10 is greater than or equal to 2 mm and less than or equal to 6 mm. Exemplarily, the equivalent diameter d1 of the orthographic projection of the abutting surface 6331 on the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10 is 2 mm, 2.4 mm, 2.5 mm, 3 mm, 3.4 mm, 4 mm, 4.2 mm, 4.5 mm, 4.8 mm, 5 mm, 5.2 mm, 5.5 mm, or 5.8 mm.

[0183] The shape of the orthographic projection of the abutting surface 6331 on the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10 includes, but is not limited to, a circle, a rectangle, a triangle, an ellipse, a hexagon, or a special shape. It is worth noting that the "equivalent diameter" refers to the diameter of a circle having an area equal to the orthographic projection of the abutting surface 6331 on the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10. When the orthographic projection of the abutting surface 6331 on the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10 is circular, the equivalent diameter is the diameter of the orthographic projection of the abutting surface 6331 on the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10.

[0184] For example, the abutment surface 6331 can be a flat surface. This simplifies the processing of the abutment surface 6331. For another example, the abutment surface 6331 can be a curved surface that is concave toward the screen 10, such as a spherical crown surface. This helps improve the reliability of the fit between the abutment surface 6331 and the conductive elastic member 70.

[0185] Please continue to refer to FIG. 15 and combine it with FIG. 11 and FIG. 12 . The flexible circuit board 63 includes a first electrical connection section 631 , a second electrical connection section 632 and a third electrical connection section 634 .

[0186] The first electrical connection section 631 is laminated and fixed to a surface of the exciter 61 facing away from the screen 10, and is electrically connected to the exciter 61. Exemplarily, the surface of the exciter 61 facing away from the screen 10 has electrode terminals, and the first electrical connection section 631 is laminated and fixed to the surface of the exciter 61 facing away from the screen 10, and is electrically connected to the electrode terminals. Methods for connecting the first electrical connection section 631 to the exciter 61 include, but are not limited to, gluing and welding.

[0187] The second electrical connection section 632 is laminated and fixed to the screen 10. The second electrical connection section 632 is located on the periphery of the actuator 61. That is, the orthographic projection of the second electrical connection section 632 on the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10 is located on the periphery of the orthographic projection of the actuator 61 on the non-display surface 10b. The conductive abutment portion 633 is provided on the surface of the second electrical connection section 632 facing the circuit board 30. Exemplary methods for connecting the second electrical connection section 632 to the screen 10 include, but are not limited to, gluing.

[0188] In this way, when the conductive abutting portion 633 abuts and cooperates with the conductive elastic member 70 , the vibration of the actuator 61 will not be affected, which is beneficial to improving the reliability of the operation of the actuator 61 .

[0189] The third electrical connection section 634 is connected between the outer edge of the first electrical connection section 631 and the outer edge of the second electrical connection section 632. The third electrical connection section 634 is located on the side facing the outer peripheral surface of the exciter. This simplifies the structure of the flexible circuit board 63, and the entire flexible circuit board 63 is substantially laminated with the screen 10, facilitating a thinner design for the electronic device 100. For example, the third electrical connection section 634 may be connected to the outer peripheral surface of the exciter 61, or not. When connected, adhesive bonding may be employed.

[0190] Based on any of the above embodiments, the actuator module 60 further includes a reinforcing gasket 62. The reinforcing gasket 62 is in the form of a sheet. The shape of the reinforcing gasket 62 includes but is not limited to a rectangular sheet, a circular sheet, a square sheet, or a special-shaped sheet.

[0191] The reinforcing gasket 62 is stacked and fixedly connected between the exciter 61 and the non-display surface 10b. The exciter 61 is connected to the screen 10 with the help of the reinforcing gasket 62 (see Figure 14). When the exciter 61 vibrates, it can drive the reinforcing gasket 62 to vibrate, thereby driving the screen 10 to vibrate. In this way, on the one hand, the exciter 61 can be separated from the screen 10 by the reinforcing gasket 62. When the screen 10 is impacted, the impact force acting on the display surface 10a of the screen 10 can be prevented from being directly transmitted to the exciter 61, thereby reducing the stress on the exciter 61 and preventing damage to the exciter 61. On the other hand, after the reinforcing gasket 62 is provided, it is also beneficial to improve the structural strength of the exciter 61 and improve the ability of the exciter 61 to resist stress. Therefore, the exciter 61 can be protected by the reinforcing gasket 62, which is beneficial to improving the reliability of the exciter 61.

[0192] For example, the reinforcing pad 62 and the non-display surface 10b may be connected via a first adhesive layer 65. The reinforcing pad 62 and the actuator 61 may be adhesively connected via a second adhesive layer 66. The first adhesive layer 65 and the second adhesive layer 66 may be adhesive or curable adhesive.

[0193] On this basis, in some embodiments, the centerline of the exciter 61 coincides with the centerline of the reinforcing pad 62. Since the amplitude of the exciter 61 is typically greatest in the center region, aligning the centerline of the exciter 61 with the centerline of the reinforcing pad 62 ensures the vibration intensity and force uniformity of the reinforcing pad 62, thereby improving the loudness and sound quality of the sound produced by the screen 10. The "centerline" referred to in this application refers to a line passing through the center of gravity of the component and extending along the Z-axis.

[0194] Since the reinforcing gasket 62 can be used to withstand part of the impact force acting on the screen 10 when the display surface 10a of the screen 10 is impacted, the structural strength of the reinforcing gasket 62 determines the protective effect of the reinforcing gasket 62. On this basis, in some embodiments, in order to ensure the structural strength of the reinforcing gasket 62, the thickness of the reinforcing gasket 62 can be increased. However, this will increase the space occupied by the reinforcing gasket 62 and increase the thickness of the electronic device 100. In order to avoid this problem, a material with greater rigidity can be selected to make the reinforcing gasket 62 to take into account both structural strength and thickness. In some embodiments, the reinforcing gasket 62 can be a metal part. Exemplarily, the reinforcing gasket 62 can be a stainless steel part, an aluminum alloy part, a magnesium-aluminum alloy part, etc. Of course, the present application is not limited to this. In other embodiments, the reinforcing gasket 62 can also be a plastic part, a glass fiber part, etc.

[0195] In some embodiments, the thickness of the reinforcing gasket 62 is greater than or equal to 0.1 mm and less than or equal to 1 mm. The thickness of the reinforcing gasket 62 refers to the distance between the surface of the reinforcing gasket 62 facing the screen 10 and the surface of the reinforcing gasket 62 facing away from the screen 10. Exemplarily, the thickness of the reinforcing gasket 62 can be 0.1 mm, 0.3 mm, 0.4 mm, 0.5 mm, 0.6 mm, 0.7 mm, 0.8 mm, 0.9 mm, 1 mm, etc. In this way, while ensuring the structural strength of the reinforcing gasket 62, the space occupied by the reinforcing gasket 62 in the thickness direction of the electronic device 100 can be reduced, which is conducive to achieving a lightweight and thin design of the electronic device 100.

[0196] On this basis, in some embodiments, referring to FIG. 15 , the orthographic projection of the exciter 61 on the reinforcing gasket 62 is located within the outer peripheral edge of the reinforcing gasket 62. In other words, the edge of the orthographic projection of the exciter 61 on the reinforcing gasket 62 is spaced apart from the outer peripheral edge of the reinforcing gasket 62, and the edge of the orthographic projection of the exciter 61 on the reinforcing gasket 62 is surrounded by the edge of the reinforcing gasket 62. In this way, the circumferential dimension of the reinforcing gasket 62 is greater than the circumferential dimension of the exciter 61. This not only facilitates utilizing the dimensional difference between the reinforcing gasket 62 and the exciter 61 to absorb the dimensional tolerance of the exciter 61, but also helps ensure the reliability of the reinforcing gasket 62 in reinforcing the exciter 61.

[0197] Continuing with Figure 15 , the distance d2 between the orthographic projection of the actuator 61 on the reinforcing gasket 62 and the outer edge of the reinforcing gasket 62 is greater than or equal to 0.2 mm. This configuration helps ensure that the dimensional difference between the reinforcing gasket 62 and the actuator 61 fully absorbs the dimensional tolerance of the actuator 61 and also helps ensure the reliability of the reinforcing gasket 62 in reinforcing the actuator 61.

[0198] On this basis, to avoid the problem of the reinforcing spacer 62 being too large in the circumferential dimension and occupying more space within the electronic device 100, the distance d2 between the edge of the orthogonal projection of the actuator 61 on the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10 and the edge of the orthogonal projection of the reinforcing spacer 62 on the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10 is less than or equal to 0.3 mm. For example, the distance d2 between the edge of the orthogonal projection of the actuator 61 on the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10 and the edge of the orthogonal projection of the reinforcing spacer 62 on the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10 is 0.21 mm, 0.22 mm, 0.23 mm, 0.25 mm, 0.26 mm, 0.27 mm, 0.28 mm, or 0.29 mm.

[0199] Based on any of the above embodiments, since the conductive elastic member 70 is compressed between the flexible circuit board 63 and the circuit board 30, to prevent the conductive elastic member 70 from puncturing the screen 10 during assembly or when the screen 10 is impacted, the actuator module 60 further includes a reinforcing sheet 64. The reinforcing sheet 64 is in the form of a sheet. The shape of the reinforcing sheet 64 includes, but is not limited to, a rectangular sheet, a circular sheet, a square sheet, or a special-shaped sheet.

[0200] The reinforcing sheet 64 is laminated and fixed between the second electrical connection section 632 and the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10. This allows the reinforcing sheet 62 to both protect the screen 10 and support and reinforce the second electrical connection section 632. For example, the reinforcing sheet 64 and the non-display surface 10b can be adhesively connected via a first adhesive layer 65. The reinforcing sheet 64 and the second electrical connection section 632 can also be adhesively connected.

[0201] Since the reinforcing sheet 64 can be used to withstand part of the impact force acting on the screen 10 when the display surface 10a of the screen 10 is impacted, the structural strength of the reinforcing sheet 64 determines the protective effect of the reinforcing sheet 64. On this basis, in some embodiments, in order to ensure the structural strength of the reinforcing sheet 64, the thickness of the reinforcing sheet 64 can be increased. However, this will increase the space occupied by the reinforcing sheet 64 and increase the thickness of the electronic device 100. To avoid this problem, a material with greater rigidity can be selected to make the reinforcing sheet 64 to take into account both structural strength and thickness. In some embodiments, the reinforcing sheet 64 can be a metal part. Exemplarily, the reinforcing sheet 64 can be a stainless steel part, an aluminum alloy part, a magnesium-aluminum alloy part, etc. Of course, the present application is not limited to this. In other embodiments, the reinforcing sheet 64 can also be a plastic part, a glass fiber part, etc.

[0202] In some embodiments, the thickness of the reinforcing sheet 64 is greater than or equal to 0.1 mm and less than or equal to 1 mm. The thickness of the reinforcing sheet 64 refers to the distance between the surface of the reinforcing sheet 64 facing the screen 10 and the surface of the reinforcing sheet 64 facing away from the screen 10. For example, the thickness of the reinforcing sheet 64 can be 0.1 mm, 0.2 mm, 0.3 mm, 0.4 mm, 0.5 mm, 0.6 mm, 0.7 mm, 0.8 mm, 0.9 mm, 1 mm, etc. This ensures the structural strength of the reinforcing sheet 64 while reducing the space occupied by the reinforcing sheet 64 in the thickness direction of the electronic device 100, thereby facilitating a lightweight and thin design for the electronic device 100.

[0203] In some embodiments, the reinforcing gasket 62 is located on the periphery of the reinforcing plate 64. The reinforcing plate 64 and the reinforcing gasket 62 are connected to form a reinforcing backsheet. This allows the reinforcing plate 64 and the reinforcing gasket 62 to be connected to the screen 10 as a whole, thereby improving assembly efficiency. Furthermore, the combined structure of the reinforcing plate 64 and the reinforcing gasket 62 provides increased structural strength and a better reinforcement effect. Furthermore, the connection between the reinforcing plate 64 and the reinforcing gasket 62 facilitates support and reinforcement of the third electrical connection section 634 at the junction of the reinforcing plate 64 and the reinforcing gasket 62, effectively reinforcing the flexible circuit board 63.

[0204] In order to improve the connection strength between the reinforcing sheet 64 and the reinforcing gasket 62, simplify their processing, and reduce manufacturing costs, the reinforcing sheet 64 and the reinforcing gasket 62 can be integrally formed. For example, when the reinforcing sheet 64 and the reinforcing gasket 62 are both metal, for example, the reinforcing sheet 64 and the reinforcing gasket 62 can be processed using a stamping process, or they can be processed using a metal powder injection molding (MIM) process. For another example, when the reinforcing sheet 64 and the reinforcing gasket 62 are plastic, they can be processed using an injection molding process.

[0205] Of course, the present application is not limited thereto. In other examples, the reinforcing sheet 64 and the reinforcing gasket 62 may also be connected by gluing, welding, clamping or screwing.

[0206] Based on the above embodiments, in some embodiments, in order to prevent the circumferential size of the flexible circuit board 63 from being too large and occupying space inside the electronic device 100, and to ensure that the reinforcing base plate reliably reinforces the flexible circuit board 63, the orthographic projection of the flexible circuit board 63 on the non-display surface 10b is located within the outer peripheral contour of the orthographic projection of the reinforcing base plate on the non-display surface 10b.

[0207] On this basis, illustratively, in order to prevent the circumferential size of the flexible circuit board 63 from being too large and occupying the space inside the electronic device 100, the orthographic projection of the first electrical connection section 631 on the non-display surface 10b is located within the outer contour of the orthographic projection of the exciter 61 on the non-display surface 10b.

[0208] In some embodiments, referring to FIG15 , the reinforcing bottom sheet is bent and arched toward one side of the circumference of the screen 10 to form a relief gap H.

[0209] Continuing with Figure 15 , the surface of the circuit board 30 facing the screen 10 includes a first electronic device 31 (Figure 15 illustrates the orthographic projection of the first electronic device 31 on the screen 10, thus depicted in dashed lines). At least a portion of the orthographic projection of the first electronic device 31 on the non-display surface 10b lies within the orthographic projection of the clearance H on the non-display surface 10b. This facilitates utilizing the clearance H to avoid the first electronic device 31, thereby optimizing the structural layout of the electronic device 100 and achieving a more compact structure.

[0210] For example, the first electronic device 31 can be a camera module. The screen 10 has a light-transmitting portion 18. The light-transmitting portion 18 is directly opposite the light-incident surface of the camera module. This facilitates the foldable electronic device 100 to capture videos or photos in the folded state.

[0211] Based on any of the above embodiments, in some embodiments, please continue to refer to Figures 14 and 15, wherein Figure 15 shows the outline of the positive projection of the structural member 90 on the screen 10, and is therefore shown in a dotted frame. The electronic device 100 also includes a structural member 90. The structural member 90 includes, but is not limited to, electronic components on the circuit board 30. The structural member 90 can be one or more. The structural member 90 is located on the side facing the outer peripheral surface of the exciter module 60. An assembly gap P is formed between the structural member 90 and the outer peripheral surface of the exciter module 60. In this way, on the one hand, it is beneficial to utilize the assembly gap P to absorb the dimensional tolerance of the exciter module 60 and ensure the reliability of the assembly of the exciter module 60. On the other hand, it can also prevent the structural member 90 from interfering with the operation of the exciter 61, ensuring the reliability of the exciter 61 driving the screen 10.

[0212] On this basis, the minimum width W of the assembly gap is set to 0.2 mm to 1 mm. For example, the minimum width W of the assembly gap is 0.25 mm, 0.3 mm, 0.35 mm, 0.4 mm, 0.45 mm, 0.5 mm, 0.55 mm, 0.6 mm, 0.65 mm, 0.7 mm, 0.75 mm, 0.8 mm, 0.85 mm, 0.9 mm, or 0.95 mm.

[0213] It is worth noting that the minimum width W of the assembly gap refers to the minimum distance between the surface of the structural member 90 facing the outer peripheral surface of the exciter module 60 and the outer peripheral surface of the exciter module 60 .

[0214] Based on any of the above embodiments, considering the wear and tear of the conductive elastic member 70 and the oxidation of the conductive elastic member 70 after long-term use, the surface of the conductive elastic member 70 is covered with an anti-oxidation layer. This not only helps prevent oxidation of the conductive elastic member 70 and improves the reliability of the electrical connection of the conductive elastic member 70, but also helps improve the wear resistance of the conductive elastic member 70.

[0215] Exemplarily, the anti-oxidation coating may be a gold coating.

[0216] Based on any of the above embodiments, to ensure that the conductive elastic member 70 can be reliably pre-pressed between the screen and the circuit board 30, the height of the conductive elastic member 70 along the Z-axis in the freely extended state is 0.45 to 0.9 mm. For example, the height along the Z-axis is 0.5 mm, 0.55 mm, 0.58 mm, 0.6 mm, 0.65 mm, 0.7 mm, 0.75 mm, or 0.8 mm.

[0217] Please refer to Figure 16, which is a three-dimensional view of the actuator module 60 according to another embodiment of the present application. This embodiment differs from the embodiment shown in Figures 5-15 in that a flexible circuit board 63 is integrally laminated and fixed to the surface of the actuator 61 facing away from the screen 10. A conductive abutment portion 633 is provided on the surface of the flexible circuit board 63 facing the circuit board 30. The orthographic projection of the conductive abutment portion 633 on the non-display surface 10b is located within the orthographic projection of the actuator 61 on the non-display surface 10b. This further reduces the size of the flexible circuit board 63, saving layout space within the electronic device 100. It also avoids the need for the reinforcement sheet 64 described above, thus reducing costs.

[0218] The following describes a flat electronic device that uses the layout relationship between the actuator module 60 and the circuit board 30 in a foldable electronic device.

[0219] Specifically, for a tablet-shaped electronic device 100, the plate 253 primarily secures the circuit board 30 and battery 40, and the middle plate 253 does not support the screen 10. Therefore, the aforementioned layout relationship between the actuator module 60 and the circuit board 30 in a foldable electronic device 100 also applies to tablet-shaped electronic devices.

[0220] Please refer to Figure 17, which is a cross-sectional structural diagram of some other flat-plate electronic devices 100 provided in this application. The difference between this example and the flat-plate electronic device 100 shown in Figures 1 to 4 lies in the specific structure of the exciter module 60 and the layout relationship between the exciter module 60 and the screen 10, the circuit board 30 and the middle plate 30. Among them, the specific structure of the exciter module 60 can refer to the description in the foldable electronic device 100 section above and will not be repeated here. Here, only the layout relationship between the exciter module 60, the screen 10, the circuit board 30 and the middle plate 30 is explained. Specifically, the exciter module 60 is fixed to the screen 10 as a whole. The inner peripheral edge of the mounting hole 2532 on the middle plate 253 is set around the entire exciter module 60, and the conductive elastic member 70 is passed through the mounting hole 2532 and abuts against the conductive abutment portion 633 on the flexible circuit board 63 fixed to the screen 10.

[0221] It is understood that in other examples, the mid-plate may not be provided in the flat electronic device 100. Alternatively, a clearance hole may be provided on the mid-plate 253, spaced apart from the mounting hole 2532, for the conductive elastic member 70 to pass through. This is sufficient as long as the conductive elastic member 7 can avoid abutment with the conductive abutting portion 633.

[0222] Next, a method for assembling the electronic device 100 will be described.

[0223] Please refer to FIG18 , which is a schematic diagram of an assembly process of an electronic device provided by this application. Specifically, the assembly method of the electronic device includes the following steps:

[0224] S10: Fix the actuator module 60 as a whole to the non-display surface 10b of the screen 10 to form a screen assembly;

[0225] S20 : Assembling the screen assembly as a whole with the circuit board 30 to compress the conductive elastic member 70 between the flexible circuit board 63 and the circuit board 30 , so that the flexible circuit board 63 is electrically connected to the circuit board 30 through the conductive elastic member 70 .

[0226] This simplifies the assembly process and reduces assembly costs. Furthermore, the flexible circuit board 63 is integrally fixed to the screen 10, simplifying the routing of the flexible circuit board 63 and avoiding the need for the flexible circuit board 63 to avoid other structures within the electronic device 100 during routing, resulting in a longer length of the flexible circuit board 63. This helps shorten the length of the flexible circuit board 63, saves space within the electronic device 100, and contributes to a thinner electronic device 100. Furthermore, the conductive elastic member 70 is compressed between the flexible circuit board 63 and the circuit board 30, allowing the flexible circuit board 63 to be electrically connected to the circuit board 30 via the conductive elastic member 70. This connection method eliminates the problem in the prior art of requiring a longer flexible circuit board to prevent breakage caused by the female and male sockets of the BTB connector pulling on the flexible circuit board when engaged. This helps further shorten the length of the flexible circuit board 63, saves space within the electronic device 100, and contributes to a thinner electronic device 100. Furthermore, this connection method has a reasonable and compact structural layout.

[0227] In some specific examples, in step S20, the screen assembly is assembled as a whole with the circuit board 30, so that the conductive elastic member 70 is compressed between the flexible circuit board 63 and the circuit board 30, so that the flexible circuit board 63 is electrically connected to the circuit board 30 through the conductive elastic member 70. Specifically, the screen assembly is assembled as a whole with the circuit board 30, so that the conductive elastic member 70 is compressed between the flexible circuit board 63 and the circuit board 30, and the conductive elastic member 70 is abutted and electrically connected to the conductive abutting portion 633, so that the flexible circuit board 63 is electrically connected to the circuit board 30 through the conductive elastic member 70. As a result, the structure is simple and assembly is facilitated.
