[0012] 1 is a diagram illustrating the configuration of the hierarchical layer estimation system 100 according to the comparative example. The hierarchical layer estimation system 100 includes a communication terminal 10, a location information collection system 20, a location information DB (Data Base) 30, and a hierarchical layer estimation server 40.
[0013] The communication terminal 10 has a barometric pressure sensor that measures barometric pressure values. The communication terminal 10 has a function of acquiring location information. The location information may be acquired, for example, by GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) positioning. The GNSS may be GPS (Global Positioning System) or QZSS (Quasi-Zenith Satellite System). The location information may also be acquired, for example, by Wi-Fi (registered trademark) positioning. Below, a specific example will be described in which the location information is GPS information; however, the location information is not limited to GPS information and may be acquired by a method other than GPS positioning.
[0014] The location information collection system 20 passes the atmospheric pressure value and GPS information acquired from the communication terminal 10 to the floor level estimation server 40. When the communication terminal 10 is located inside a building, the location information collection system 20 receives the XY coordinate information of the communication terminal 10, the name of the building, and floor level information from the floor level estimation server 40. The location information collection system 20 stores the received information in the location information DB 30. The location information DB 30 is used for location analysis, etc.
[0015] The floor estimation server 40 has a building information DB 41 and a weather information DB 42. The building information DB 41 stores the name of the building, the XY coordinate information of the building, and the height information of each floor in the building. The building information DB 41 may be acquired from an external database. The atmospheric pressure information DB 42 stores sea level atmospheric pressure information and temperature information provided by the Japan Meteorological Agency. When calculating the height h of the communication terminal 10, i.e., the altitude, the sea level atmospheric pressure P 0 is used. P represents the atmospheric pressure value. T represents the temperature. Equation (1)
[0016] 2 is a diagram illustrating the configuration of the floor estimation server 40. The floor estimation server 40 includes a building information DB 41, a weather information DB 42, a positioning result DB 43, a building information IF (Interface) 44, a weather information IF 45, a location information collection system IF 46, a building information DB management unit 47, a weather information DB management unit 48, a positioning management unit 49, a positioning calculation unit 410, a region determination unit 411, an indoor determination unit 412, and a floor estimation unit 413.
[0017] The building information DB 41 stores building names, XY coordinate information, and height information for each floor. The atmospheric pressure information DB 42 stores sea level atmospheric pressure information and temperature information provided by the Japan Meteorological Agency. The positioning result DB 43 stores GPS information and atmospheric pressure values received from the communication terminal 10.
[0018] The building information IF 44 is an interface for acquiring building information using a protocol such as SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol). The weather information IF 45 is an interface for acquiring reference station data (e.g., sea level pressure, temperature) from the Japan Meteorological Agency using a protocol such as FTP (File Transfer Protocol), SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol), or TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) with a JMA (Japan Meteorological Agency) socket. The location information collection system IF 46 is an interface with the location information collection system 20. The location information collection system IF 46 is an interface for collecting GPS information and atmospheric pressure values using a protocol such as FTP.
[0019] The building information DB management unit 47 manages the building information DB 41. The weather information DB management unit 48 manages the weather information DB 42. The positioning management unit 49 manages the positioning result DB 43. The positioning management unit 49 may have a function of obtaining XY coordinate information from GPS information.
[0020] The positioning calculation unit 410 calculates the height of the communication terminal 10 based on the atmospheric pressure value. The positioning calculation unit 410 may calculate the height from the atmospheric pressure value using the above formula (1).
[0021] The area determination unit 411 determines the area in which the communication terminal 10 is located based on the X and Y coordinates of the communication terminal 10 .
[0022] The indoor determination unit 412 determines whether the communication terminal 10 is indoors based on GPS information (for example, GPS accuracy).
[0023] The floor estimation unit 413 identifies the building in which the communication terminal 10 is located based on the building information DB 41 and the X and Y coordinates of the communication terminal 10. Then, the floor estimation unit 413 estimates the floor in which the communication terminal 10 is located based on the building information DB 41 and height information of the communication terminal 10.
[0024] FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating the operation of the hierarchical layer estimation system 100 according to the comparative example. The hierarchical layer estimation system 100 may begin operation upon receiving information from the communication terminal 10. First, the positioning management unit 49 passes information such as GPS accuracy to the indoor determination unit 412 (step S101). The indoor determination unit 412 uses the received information to determine whether the communication terminal 10 is indoors and returns a flag indicating the determination result to the positioning management unit 49 (step S102). The positioning management unit 49 passes the XY coordinate information to the region determination unit 411 (step S103). The region determination unit 411 identifies the region corresponding to the XY coordinate information and returns information indicating the reference station to be referenced (referred to as region information) to the positioning management unit 49 (step S104). Steps S101 and S103 may be performed in parallel or sequentially.
[0025] Next, the positioning management unit 49 passes the sea level pressure and temperature extracted from the weather information DB 42 and the pressure value collected from the communication terminal 10 to the positioning calculation unit 410 (step S105). The positioning calculation unit 410 returns height information of the communication terminal 10 to the positioning management unit 49 (step S106). Next, the positioning management unit 49 passes the XY information and height information of the communication terminal 10 to the floor estimation unit 413 (step S107). The floor estimation unit 413 references the building information DB 41 and returns information about the name and floor of the building where the communication terminal 10 is located (step S108). The floor estimation server 40 then passes the building name and floor information to the location information collection system 20.
[0026] Next, a description will be given of the problems with the floor level estimation system 100 according to the reference example. First, the air pressure inside a building is unstable because it changes due to various factors, and it is difficult to accurately calculate the height h from equation (1).
[0027] Furthermore, the hierarchical level estimation system 100 does not take into account that the air pressure sensors used in the communication terminals 10 may differ from one another. Differences in the air pressure sensors may result in a difference in air pressure value of approximately 1 hPa. In this case, a vertical error of approximately 8 m occurs, preventing the hierarchical level estimation system 100 from estimating the correct level.
[0028] Furthermore, if the communication terminal 10 is far from the reference station, the floor estimation system 100 cannot accurately measure the height of the communication terminal 10. If the distance from the reference station installed by the Japan Meteorological Agency increases, the accuracy of height measurement may deteriorate.
[0029] Therefore, the present disclosure provides an atmospheric pressure information correction device, an atmospheric pressure information correction system, an atmospheric pressure information correction method, and a program that improve the correction accuracy of atmospheric pressure values measured by a communication terminal.
[0030] Embodiment 1 This embodiment will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating the configuration of an atmospheric pressure information correction system 200 according to the present disclosure. The atmospheric pressure information correction system 200 includes a plurality of communication terminals 50 and an atmospheric pressure information correction device 60. The communication terminals 50 may be computers that operate when a processor executes a program stored in memory. The communication terminals 50 are communicably connected to the atmospheric pressure information correction device 60.
[0031] Multiple communication terminals 50 are located in a building having multiple floors. Note that multiple communication terminals 50 do not need to be present in the building at the same time. Each communication terminal 50 includes a measurement unit 51 and a transmission unit 52. The measurement unit 51 may include a barometric pressure sensor that measures barometric pressure. The transmission unit 52 transmits information indicating the model of the communication terminal 50 (referred to as model information) and the barometric pressure. The transmission unit 52 may transmit identification information including the model information. The measurement unit 51 and the transmission unit 52 may be software or a module that performs processing when a processor executes a program stored in a memory. Alternatively, the measurement unit 51 and the transmission unit 52 may be hardware such as a circuit or a chip.
[0032] FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating the configuration of the atmospheric pressure information correction device 60. The atmospheric pressure information correction device 60 may be a computer device that operates when a processor executes a program stored in memory. The atmospheric pressure information correction device 60 may be an information processing device, for example, a server device. The atmospheric pressure information correction device 60 may also be composed of multiple computer devices. In this case, the components or functions that make up the atmospheric pressure information correction device 60 may be distributed and arranged across multiple computer devices. The multiple computers may be connected via a network or directly via a cable, etc.
[0033] The atmospheric pressure information correction device 60 includes a collection unit 61, a clustering processing unit 62, and a correction value calculation unit 63. The collection unit 61, clustering processing unit 62, and correction value calculation unit 63 may be software or modules that are executed by a processor running a program stored in memory. Alternatively, the collection unit 61, clustering processing unit 62, and correction value calculation unit 63 may be hardware such as a circuit or chip.
[0034] The collection unit 61 collects atmospheric pressure values measured by each communication terminal 50 located in a building having multiple floors and model information of the communication terminal 50 .
[0035] The clustering processing unit 62 clusters the multiple atmospheric pressure values collected from multiple communication terminals 50 of one model. In other words, the clustering processing unit 62 clusters the atmospheric pressure values collected by the collection unit 61 for each model. Clustering may be performed for all models. Clustering may be hierarchical clustering (e.g., Ward's method) or non-hierarchical clustering (e.g., k-means). The clustering method is not particularly limited.
[0036] The correction value calculation unit 63 associates each cluster with one tier and calculates a correction value for the air pressure value measured by the communication terminal 50 of one model. In other words, the correction value calculation unit 63 calculates a correction value for the air pressure value for each model. The correction value calculation unit 63 calculates, for example, a representative value (e.g., average value) of the cluster. The correction value calculation unit 63 may then calculate the correction value based on the representative value of the cluster and height information for the tier corresponding to that cluster. The correction value calculation unit 63 may also calculate a correction value for one model based on air pressure values measured by communication terminals 50 of other models. The correction value calculation unit 63 may also calculate correction values for all models.
[0037] 6 is a diagram illustrating the flow of the atmospheric pressure information correction method according to the present disclosure. First, the collection unit 61 collects atmospheric pressure information measured by communication terminals 50 located in a building with multiple floors and information about the model of the communication terminals 50 (step S201). Next, the clustering processing unit 62 clusters the multiple atmospheric pressure values collected from multiple communication terminals 50 of the same model (step S202). Next, the correction value calculation unit 63 associates each cluster with a floor and calculates a correction value for the atmospheric pressure values measured by the communication terminals 50 of that model (step S203).
[0038] As described above, the atmospheric pressure information correction device 60 can calculate a correction value for the atmospheric pressure value for each model by clustering the atmospheric pressure values by model. The atmospheric pressure information correction device 60 calculates a correction value according to the atmospheric pressure sensor provided in the communication terminal 50, and can improve the correction accuracy of the atmospheric pressure value measured by the communication terminal 50.
[0039] Embodiment 2 Embodiment 2 is a specific example of embodiment 1. Fig. 7 is a diagram illustrating the configuration of a hierarchical level estimation system 300 according to the present disclosure. The hierarchical level estimation system 300 is a specific example of the atmospheric pressure information correction system 200 described above.
[0040] The hierarchical level estimation system 300 includes a location information collection system 20, a location information DB 30, a plurality of communication terminals 50a and 50b, and a hierarchical level estimation server 70. Comparing Figures 1 and 7, the communication terminal 10 is replaced by the communication terminals 50a and 50b, and the hierarchical level estimation server 40 is replaced by the hierarchical level estimation server 70. The hierarchical level estimation server 70 is a specific example of the atmospheric pressure information correction device 60 described above.
[0041] The communication terminal 50a represents the communication terminal used to calculate the correction value. The atmospheric pressure value measured by the communication terminal 50b is corrected using the correction value. Then, the floor on which the communication terminal 50b is located is estimated. The communication terminals 50a and 50b may be the same communication terminal or different communication terminals. The communication terminal 50b is also referred to as the second communication terminal. When the communication terminals 50a and 50b are not distinguished from each other, they are simply referred to as the communication terminals 50.
[0042] The communication terminal 50 transmits the identification information of the communication terminal 50 and the atmospheric pressure value measured by the communication terminal 50 to the location information collection system 20. The identification information of the communication terminal 50 includes model information of the communication terminal 50. The location information collection system 20 passes the model information and the atmospheric pressure value of the communication terminal 50 to the hierarchical level estimation server 70.
[0043] Fig. 8 is a diagram illustrating the configuration of the hierarchical layer estimation server 70. Comparing Fig. 2 with Fig. 8, the positioning management unit 49 has been replaced with a positioning management unit 414. The hierarchical layer estimation server 70 further includes a clustering processing unit 415, a correction value calculation unit 416, a correction information DB 417, and a correction unit 418.
[0044] The positioning management unit 414 stores the model information in addition to the atmospheric pressure value and GPS information in the positioning result DB 43. The positioning management unit 414 is a specific example of the collection unit 61 described above.
[0045] 9 is a diagram illustrating the distribution of collected air pressure values. The diagram shows a plurality of communication terminals 50-1, a plurality of communication terminals 50-2, a plurality of communication terminals 50-3, and a plurality of communication terminals 50-4 present in a building. The communication terminals 50-1 to 50-4 are of different models. The models of the communication terminals 50-1 to 50-4 are also referred to as models 1 to 4, respectively. Many of the communication terminals 50-1 to 50-4 are present on one of the floors F. The number of communication terminals 50-1 to 50-4 moving between floors F is relatively small.
[0046] The diagram below shows atmospheric pressure values collected from communication terminals 50-1 to 50-4. The first diagram from the left shows the distribution of atmospheric pressure values measured by communication terminal 50-1. The vertical axis represents atmospheric pressure values. The second to fourth diagrams from the left show the distribution of atmospheric pressure values measured by communication terminals 50-2 to 50-4, respectively.
[0047] 8, the clustering processing unit 415 is a specific example of the above-mentioned clustering processing unit 62. The clustering processing unit 415 clusters the multiple atmospheric pressure values measured by the multiple communication terminals 50a by model.
[0048] The correction value calculation unit 416 is a specific example of the correction value calculation unit 63 described above. The correction value calculation unit 416 calculates the variance or standard deviation of the atmospheric pressure values classified into each cluster, and removes outliers based on the variance or standard deviation. After removing the outliers, the correction value calculation unit 416 then calculates a representative value (e.g., average value) of the atmospheric pressure values classified into each cluster.
[0049] FIG. 10 is a diagram illustrating the outliers. The vertical axis represents the air pressure value, and the horizontal axis represents the height. A1 and A2 represent the outliers. B1 to B3 represent the air pressure values collected from the first to third floors, respectively. The outliers A1 and A2 are removed. For example, the air pressure values collected from the communication terminal 50 moving between floors correspond to the outliers.
[0050] Referring to FIG. 8 , the correction value calculation unit 416 identifies one floor corresponding to each cluster and extracts height information for that floor from the building information DB 41. Then, based on the representative value of that cluster and the height of that floor, the correction value calculation unit 416 calculates a correction value for the range of atmospheric pressure values corresponding to that floor. The correction value calculation unit 416 associates the calculated correction value with the model and the range of atmospheric pressure values and stores it in the correction information DB 417. The range of atmospheric pressure values corresponds to the height of each floor. In other words, the correction value is determined for each floor, i.e., for each altitude. It is known that the higher the floor, the lower the accuracy of altitude measurement.
[0051] The hierarchical level estimation server 70 performs the same process for multiple regions at different distances from the atmospheric pressure reference point. The hierarchical level estimation server 70 also performs the same process periodically under various temperature conditions. The hierarchical level estimation server 70 determines a correction value for each atmospheric pressure range, each temperature range, and each region. The correction value calculation unit 416 may store the correction value in the correction information DB 417 in association with the region and temperature range. In this case, the hierarchical level estimation server 70 can take into account the influence of the distance from the atmospheric pressure reference point and the temperature.
[0052] FIG. 11 is a diagram illustrating an example of a method for calculating a correction value. First, the hierarchical level estimation server 70 calculates the average value and standard deviation of the atmospheric pressure values for all models associated with one level (step S301). The hierarchical level estimation server 70 then detects a model that measured an atmospheric pressure value different from the atmospheric pressure values measured by other models (step S302). The correction value calculation unit 416 of the hierarchical level estimation server 70 then calculates a correction value for the atmospheric pressure value measured by that model (step S303). After performing step S303, the hierarchical level estimation server 70 performs step S301. The hierarchical level estimation server 70 may continuously collect atmospheric pressure values and calculate correction values. In this case, the hierarchical level estimation server 70 can reduce the impact of deterioration of the atmospheric pressure sensor installed in a specific model of terminal.
[0053] 8 , the correction unit 418 corrects the air pressure value measured by communication terminal 50b using a correction value corresponding to the model of communication terminal 50b. Specifically, the correction unit 418 obtains a correction value corresponding to the model information received from communication terminal 50b from the correction information DB 417. The correction unit 418 then corrects the air pressure value received from communication terminal 50b using the correction value. The correction unit 418 may obtain a correction value corresponding to the model of communication terminal 50b, the area in which communication terminal 50b is located, the temperature range corresponding to the temperatures in that area, and the air pressure range that includes the air pressure value measured by communication terminal 50b.
[0054] FIG. 12 is a diagram illustrating the results of correction. The vertical axis represents pressure, and the horizontal axis represents time. The upper diagram shows pressure values measured by communication terminals 50 of models M1 to M3. The lower diagram shows corrected pressure values. Referring to the upper diagram, the air pressure value measured by communication terminal 50 of model M3 differs from the air pressure value measured by communication terminals 50 of models M1 to M2. In this case, the air pressure value measured by communication terminal 50 of model M3 is corrected. Referring to the lower diagram, the air pressure values measured by communication terminals 50 of models M1 to M3 fall within a certain range.
[0055] 8, the floor estimation unit 413 estimates the floor on which the communication terminal 50b is located based on the corrected air pressure value. The building on which the second communication terminal 50b is located may be different from the building on which the first communication terminal 50a was located.
[0056] 3, the operation of the hierarchical level estimation server 70 to estimate the level on which the communication terminal 50b is located will be described. After step S104, the correction unit 418 of the hierarchical level estimation server 70 corrects the air pressure value measured by the communication terminal 50b using the correction information DB 417. Then, in step S105, the positioning management unit 414 of the hierarchical level estimation server 70 passes the corrected air pressure value to the positioning calculation unit 410. Other operations are the same as those in the comparative example, and therefore will not be described again. The estimated level may be included in emergency notification information.
[0057] The floor level estimation system 300 according to the second embodiment can accurately estimate the floor on which the communication terminal 50b is located by accurately correcting the air pressure value measured by the communication terminal 50b.
