Description

Method for providing information related to carbon emissions of a target system through template application

[0001] The present invention relates to a method for providing carbon emission-related information of a target system, and more specifically, to a method for providing carbon emission-related information of a target system capable of providing high-quality carbon emission-related information by classifying sub-organizations of an arbitrary target system through a pre-built template, specifying a carbon emission source, and calculating carbon emissions.

[0002] Recently, as environmental pollution has accelerated due to industrial development, awareness of environmental pollution has been gradually increasing in all walks of life, and various methods to reduce environmental pollution are being studied and discussed.

[0003] In addition, the concept of carbon neutrality has recently been spreading worldwide.

[0004] Carbon neutrality is the concept of reducing carbon dioxide emissions generated by companies and individuals as much as possible, increasing absorption, minimizing net emissions, and then offsetting the remainder, thereby reducing net carbon dioxide emissions to zero. In other words, it means establishing measures to reabsorb carbon dioxide enough to offset the amount of carbon dioxide already released into the atmosphere, thereby achieving a neutral total carbon dioxide level.

[0005] To achieve carbon neutrality, accurate calculation of carbon emissions by companies and individuals, as well as management of emissions from subordinate organizations (supply chains), are paramount. However, conventionally, only the carbon dioxide directly emitted by companies was measured, making accurate carbon emissions measurement impossible.

[0006] In addition, the process of calculating carbon emissions requires a lot of data and analysis techniques, and the analysis method varies depending on the characteristics of the company or individual. Therefore, the process of calculating carbon emissions has traditionally taken a long time and there have been many difficulties in the analysis process.

[0007] Therefore, a method to solve these problems is required.

[0008] The present invention is an invention devised to solve the problems of the above-described prior art, and has the purpose of providing rapid and accurate carbon emission-related information by automatically classifying the sub-organizations of a specific target system in detail through a pre-built template and specifically identifying a carbon emission source to calculate carbon emissions.

[0009] The tasks of the present invention are not limited to the tasks mentioned above, and other tasks not mentioned will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description below.

[0010] The method for providing information related to carbon emissions of a target system through a template application method of the present invention for achieving the above-described purpose comprises the steps of (a) in which an information management unit of an operation server receives system information about the target system that is the target of carbon emissions calculation, input by an administrator terminal owned by an administrator of the target system; (b) in which a data processing unit of the operation server loads a template set corresponding to the target system from among a plurality of template sets stored in a database of the operation server based on the system information received in (a); (c) in which the data processing unit applies, to the target system, an organization classification template that sets a classification boundary of the target system and classifies lower-level organizations from the template set loaded in (b); (d) in which the data processing unit applies, to the target system, an emission source classification template that specifies a carbon emission source for each lower-level organization of the target system classified by the step (c), from the template set loaded in (b); and (d) in which the data processing unit of the operation server applies, to the target system, an emission source classification template that specifies a carbon emission source for each carbon emission source specified by the step (d) for each carbon emission source specified by the step (d). Includes step (e) of calculating carbon emissions.

[0011] At this time, after the above step (e), a step (f) may be further performed in which the information provision unit of the operation server provides carbon emission information by carbon emission source included in the sub-organization of the target system calculated by the above step (e) to the user terminal owned by the user so that the user can view the information.

[0012] And the above step (f) may include a step (f-1) of providing a first data dashboard indicating carbon emissions by type for each sub-organization of the target system, a step (f-2) of providing a second data dashboard indicating the carbon amount distribution ratio of each carbon emission source included in the sub-organization of the target system, and a step (f-3) of providing a third data dashboard indicating the status of RE100 implementation achievement of the target system.

[0013] In addition, after the above step (a), a step (ex) may be further performed in which the information management department of the operation server grants administrator authority to the administrator terminal.

[0014] In addition, the process of classifying subordinate organizations by the organizational classification template applied in the above step (c) may include step (c-1) of classifying subordinate organizations by setting classification boundaries by geographically based unit facilities for constructing the target system or unit groups distinguished by a predetermined purpose for the target system, and step (c-2) of adding transportation means and auxiliary facilities owned by the target system as subordinate organizations.

[0015] And the process of specifying a carbon emission source by the emission source classification template applied in the above step (d) may include a step (d-1) of defining multiple carbon emission types for each sub-organization classified in the above step (c) and a step (d-2) of specifying a detailed carbon emission source for each carbon emission type defined in the above step (d-1).

[0016] At this time, the carbon emission type defined in the above step (b-1) may include direct emission type, indirect emission type, and other emission types.

[0017] In addition, the above step (d-2) may include a step (d-2-1) of specifying each of the direct emission types, such as fixed combustion sources, mobile combustion sources, fugitive emission sources, waste treatment facilities, forest sinks, fertilizer use, and owned animals, as detailed carbon emission sources, a step (d-2-2) of specifying each of the indirect emission types, such as electricity use, heat use, water use, and waste, as detailed carbon emission sources, and a step (d-2-3) of specifying each of the other emission types, such as commuting / school transportation and business trips, as detailed carbon emission sources.

[0018] In addition, the step (e) may include a step (e-1) in which the data processing unit calculates a base emission value for each carbon emission source specified in the step (d), a step (e-2) in which the data processing unit calculates an emission factor using the base emission value, a step (e-3) in which the data processing unit calculates a carbon emission amount by multiplying the base emission value and the emission factor, and a step (e-4) in which the data processing unit converts the carbon emission amount calculated by the step (e-3) into a carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2eq).

[0019] Meanwhile, after the above step (e), the information management unit may further perform an (add) step of receiving and registering additional carbon emission sources from the administrator terminal.

[0020] And the above (add) step may include a (add-1) step in which the information management unit loads the industry-specific guidelines of the target system and provides them to the administrator terminal, a (add-2) step in which the information management unit provides mandatory input items for additional carbon emission sources to the administrator terminal, and a (add-3) step in which the information management unit receives and registers input data of mandatory input items entered by the administrator terminal.

[0021] Additionally, the (add) step may include a (add-4) step in which the information management unit sends a notification message to the administrator terminal asking whether to input non-mandatory input items for additional carbon emission sources, a (add-5) step in which the information management unit provides non-mandatory input items for additional carbon emission sources to the administrator terminal when the information management unit receives an input request for non-mandatory input items input by the administrator terminal, and a (add-6) step in which the information management unit receives and registers input data for non-mandatory input items input by the administrator terminal.

[0022] The method for providing information related to carbon emissions of a target system through a template application method of the present invention for solving the above-described problem has the advantage of being able to quickly and accurately process the process of classifying sub-organizations by setting classification boundaries of the target system to be subject to carbon emissions calculation and specifying in detail the carbon emission source from which carbon is emitted for each classified sub-organization by pre-establishing a set of templates that can be automatically applied to each target system having various organizations, and calculating the carbon emissions of each of them.

[0023] In particular, according to an embodiment of the present invention, by providing a user interface that is neatly organized and easy to identify information, users can more conveniently and intuitively look up carbon emission information by carbon emission source included in a sub-organization of the target system.

[0024] In addition, the present invention enables subjects provided with carbon emission-related information to continuously monitor their contribution to environmental pollution, respond to domestic and international laws and regulations and obligations, and raise awareness, thereby contributing to environmental protection.

[0025] The effects of the present invention are not limited to the effects mentioned above, and other effects not mentioned will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description of the claims.

[0046] The method for providing information related to carbon emissions of a target system according to the present invention is performed through an operation server that provides a program for providing information related to carbon emissions of a target system stored in a storage medium, and can be driven by a processor of the operation server.

[0047] And the program for providing information related to carbon emissions of the target system can be output through a video output device such as a display module, and can provide visible information through a visualized graphical user interface on an operating server, an administrator terminal owned by an administrator of the target system, a user terminal owned by a user who is the subject of the information inquiry, etc.

[0048] In particular, the program for providing information related to carbon emissions of the target system can be installed on an operation server, an administrator terminal, a user terminal, etc. using a removable disk or a communication network, and the method for providing information related to carbon emissions of the target system can be operated by various functional means such as an operation server, an administrator terminal, a user terminal, etc.

[0049] In other words, the present invention specifically realizes information processing by software through hardware.

[0050] Hereinafter, a method for providing carbon emission-related information of a target system according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the attached drawings.

[0051] FIG. 1 is a drawing showing the entire process of a method for providing carbon emission-related information of a target system according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0052] And FIG. 2 is a drawing conceptually showing each component of a system for performing a method for providing information related to carbon emissions of a target system according to one embodiment of the present invention, and in the following description, the symbols assigned to each component are based on this drawing.

[0053] As illustrated in FIG. 1, a method for providing carbon emission-related information of a target system according to one embodiment of the present invention includes steps (a) to (f).

[0054] Step (a) is a process in which the information management unit (110) of the operation server (100) receives system information about the target system input by the administrator terminal (10) owned by the administrator of the target system that is the subject of carbon emission calculation.

[0055] Here, the target system refers to a specific institution / organization such as a company, university, etc., and the purpose of the present invention is to calculate and provide carbon emission information of such a target system.

[0056] In addition, system information includes various items related to the target system, and the administrator inputs the system information requested by the operation server (100) through the administrator terminal (10).

[0057] FIG. 3 is a drawing showing a system information input screen provided from the operation server (100) to the administrator terminal (10) in a method for providing carbon emission-related information of a target system according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0058] As illustrated in FIG. 3, the operation server (100) can provide input items including first main information, second main information, and sub-information to the administrator terminal (10).

[0059] Here, the first main information includes information on the business name and type of business, and the second main information may provide input items including the business registration number, corporate registration number, representative name, location, and industry.

[0060] And sub-information can provide input items including number of employees, operating hours, main products produced, annual production volume, and annual sales.

[0061] Accordingly, the administrator can input the contents of each input item through the administrator terminal (10) and provide it to the operation server (100).

[0062] However, this is an input screen presented as an example, and each input item may be configured differently from the present embodiment.

[0063] And after step (a) like this, step (ex) of granting administrator authority to the administrator terminal (10) by the information management unit (110) of the operation server (100) can be further performed.

[0064] FIG. 4 is a drawing showing an administrator authority registration screen provided from the operation server side to the administrator terminal in a method for providing carbon emission-related information of a target system according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0065] As illustrated in Figure 4, the administrator authority registration screen may include items for entering the administrator name, email, department name, position, administrator contact information, and fax number.

[0066] When the administrator enters each item on the operating server (100) and clicks the "Invite" button, an invitation link is sent to the administrator's email address. If the administrator does not respond within the preset time, the invitation link may be deleted, and a voice message may be sent to the contact information entered by the administrator or the invitation link may be resent.

[0067] Additionally, if an administrator approves an invitation through an administrator terminal (10), the administrator can be registered as an administrator by the operation server (100).

[0068] Next, step (b) is a process in which the data processing unit (120) of the operation server (100) loads a template set corresponding to the target system from among multiple template sets stored in the database (105) of the operation server (100) based on the system information received in step (a).

[0069] Here, the template set is a form for carbon emission-related information that has been pre-built to correspond to the characteristics of each target system based on the 'Greenhouse Gas Activity Data Preparation Guidelines' based on the industries of the first and second main information of the aforementioned system information.

[0070] A set of templates like this can be further structured to include individual templates.

[0071] For example, the template set may include an organizational classification template that is considered according to the industry characteristics of the target system (including items such as "construction site" in the construction industry, and "factory" in the manufacturing industry), an emission source classification template that must be created as a mandatory / priority requirement for each industry, and an activity data creation report form template according to the industry.

[0072] That is, multiple sets of templates can be prepared appropriately for each industry and stored in a database (105), and in step (b), the data processing unit (120) of the operation server (100) loads the corresponding template set based on the system information of the target system.

[0073] However, depending on the industry of the target system, there may be cases where a template set does not exist in the database (105).

[0074] In such a case, the data processing unit (120) of the operation server (100) informs the administrator terminal ((10)) that there is no template set corresponding to the target system industry, and a process of newly constructing a new template set corresponding to the industry can be performed together with the administrator terminal (10).

[0075] In this process, the data processing unit (120) can extract n sets of templates that are most similar to the relevant industry and provide them to the administrator terminal (10), and the administrator can select one or more sets of templates that are deemed most suitable through the administrator terminal (10).

[0076] Thereafter, the data processing unit (120) randomly extracts detailed items from the n template sets extracted in the previous process that are most similar to the relevant industry, and randomly combines them with one or more template sets selected by the administrator to derive m candidate template sets.

[0077] The reason for this is that the set of templates selected by the administrator can be considered as the most similar to the industry in question, but some details do not match appropriately.

[0078] That is, the data processing unit (120) randomly derives a new set of candidate templates by combining the detailed items of multiple template sets recommended as having high similarity in the previous process with the detailed items of the template set selected by the administrator.

[0079] This is because the template set determined to have a high degree of similarity by the data processing unit (120) will also contain many items suitable for the relevant industry, and therefore, if the detailed items of the template set with a high degree of similarity are combined in various ways with the template set selected by the administrator, there is a high possibility that a template set more suitable for the relevant industry will be derived.

[0080] Afterwards, the administrator can check the newly combined and presented multiple template sets, and if there is a more appropriate template set than one or more template sets selected by the administrator, the administrator can select that template set and proceed with the subsequent steps.

[0081] This series of processes can be repeated multiple times, and as the number of repetitions increases, a more appropriate set of templates for the industry can be derived.

[0082] Next, step (c) is a process in which the data processing unit (120) applies an organizational classification template that classifies subordinate organizations by setting the classification boundaries of the target system from the template set loaded in step (b) to the target system.

[0083] Here, the classification boundary refers to a virtual standard that allows for the distinction between various sub-organizations that make up the target system.

[0084] That is, in step (c), the classification boundary is set according to the characteristics of the target system for which carbon emissions are to be calculated, and its subordinate organizations are classified.

[0085] FIG. 5 is a drawing showing a detailed process of classifying lower-level organizations by the organizational classification template applied in step (c) in a method for providing information related to carbon emissions of a target system according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0086] As illustrated in Fig. 5, step (c) includes steps (c-1) and (c-2) in detail.

[0087] Step (c-1) is the process of classifying subordinate organizations by setting classification boundaries for geographically based unit facilities for constructing the target system or unit groups divided by purpose established for the target system.

[0088] For example, if the target system is a company, the subordinate organizations may be geographically based units such as headquarters / production facilities / storage facilities, or may be unit groups such as each department divided by work.

[0089] Or, if the target system is a university, the subordinate organization may be a geographically based unit facility such as a building within each university site, or a unit group such as a department / faculty.

[0090] And step (c-2) is the process of adding transportation and auxiliary facilities owned by the target system as subordinate organizations.

[0091] That is, the sub-organization of the target system may further include transportation means such as vehicles, along with geographic-based unit facilities or unit groups, and other auxiliary facilities other than unit facilities or unit groups.

[0092] Next, step (d) is a process in which the data processing unit (120) applies an emission source classification template that specifies a carbon emission source that emits carbon for each sub-organization of the target system classified by step (c) from the template set loaded in step (b) to the target system.

[0093] In this process, each sub-organization will identify carbon sources for subsequent carbon emissions calculations.

[0094] FIG. 6 is a drawing showing a detailed process of classifying carbon emission sources by an emission source classification template applied in step (d) in a method for providing carbon emission-related information of a target system according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 7 is a drawing showing a detailed process of step (d-2) in a method for providing carbon emission-related information of a target system according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0095] As illustrated in FIGS. 6 and 7, step (d) includes steps (d-1) and (d-2) in detail, and step (d-2) may also include steps (d-2-1) to (d-2-3).

[0096] Step (d-1) is the process of defining multiple carbon emission types for each sub-organization classified in step (a).

[0097] At this time, the carbon emission type defined in step (d-1) may include direct emission type, indirect emission type, and other emission types.

[0098] Direct emission type refers to a source that directly emits / absorbs greenhouse gases, indirect emission type refers to a source that indirectly generates greenhouse gases, and other emission types refer to sources other than direct and indirect emission types.

[0099] And step (d-2) is a process of specifying detailed carbon emission sources for each carbon emission type defined by step (d-1), i.e., direct emission type, indirect emission type, and other emission type.

[0100] In detail, step (d-2-1) is the process of specifying each item as a detailed carbon emission source, including fixed combustion sources, mobile combustion sources, fugitive emission sources, waste treatment facilities, forest sink fertilizer use, and owned animals as direct emission types.

[0101] Stationary combustion sources are carbon emissions sources that produce carbon emissions through the combustion of fuel or waste, such as steam (heat) and electricity generation, heating, and waste incineration.

[0102] And mobile combustion sources are carbon emission sources that generate carbon emissions through transportation vehicles owned and managed by the target system, and fugitive emission sources are carbon emission sources that generate carbon emissions from products such as fire extinguishers, insulators, and refrigerants.

[0103] Additionally, waste treatment facilities are carbon emission sources that generate carbon emissions from the waste generated in the target system.

[0104] At this time, greenhouse gas absorption occurs in forest sinks due to an increase in carbon accumulation in forest biomass, and therefore, in the carbon emission calculation process described later, the figure may be displayed as a minus figure, unlike other carbon emission sources.

[0105] And step (d-2-2) is the process of specifying each item of indirect emission type, such as electricity use, heat use, water use, and waste, as a detailed carbon emission source.

[0106] In this way, indirect emission types can be various carbon emission sources that indirectly generate greenhouse gases.

[0107] Additionally, step (d-2-3) is the process of specifying each item of commuting / school transportation and business trips as detailed carbon emission sources as other emission types.

[0108] Other emission types identified by this process are emission sources other than direct emission types and indirect emission types.

[0109] Next, step (e) is a process in which the data processing unit (120) of the operation server (100) calculates the carbon emissions for each carbon emission source specified by step (d).

[0110] In step (e), a process of individually calculating carbon emissions is performed for each carbon emission source of the direct emission type, indirect emission type, and other emission type specified in step (d).

[0111] FIG. 8 is a drawing showing a detailed process of step (e) in a method for providing carbon emission-related information of a target system according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0112] As illustrated in FIG. 8, step (e) may include steps (e-1) to (e-4) in detail, and in particular, step (e-1) may be applied in a different manner to each carbon emission source, and steps (e-2) to (e-4) may be applied in common to each carbon emission source.

[0113] Step (e-1) is the process in which the data processing unit calculates the base emission value for each carbon emission source specified in step (d).

[0114] Specifically, if the carbon emission source is a direct emission type and a stationary combustion source / mobile combustion source, the base emission value can be calculated by calculating the fuel consumption and the calorific value of each fuel and multiplying them.

[0115] In addition, the calculation method for the base emission value can be applied differently depending on whether the carbon emission source is a direct emission type and a waste treatment facility, whether solid waste is landfilled, whether solid waste is biologically treated, whether sewage / wastewater is treated, or whether waste is incinerated.

[0116] In the case of landfilling solid waste, the base emission figures can be calculated by collecting activity data from the waste treatment facility, i.e. the landfill volume for each year, calculating the DDOEmτ and DDOEmaτ values for the first year of landfilling, and the DDOEmτ and DDOEmaτ values up to the year of calculation, and multiplying them.

[0117] In addition, when solid waste is treated biologically, the base discharge value can be calculated by determining the biological treatment amount at the waste treatment facility, and when wastewater is treated, the base discharge value can be calculated by determining BOD5, TN, and influent sewage amount.

[0118] In addition, when incinerating waste, the base emission figure can be calculated by determining the amount of waste incinerated.

[0119] And if the carbon emission source is a direct emission type and a fugitive emission source, the base emission value can be calculated by determining the number of registered fire extinguishers, refrigerators, and air conditioners, and the type / quantity of refrigerant for each.

[0120] Furthermore, if the carbon source is a direct source and a forest sink, the base emissions figure can be calculated by assessing forest area. However, as previously mentioned, forest sinks absorb greenhouse gases through increased carbon accumulation in forest biomass. Unlike other carbon sources, their figures may be displayed as negative figures during the carbon emissions calculation process.

[0121] In addition, if the carbon emission source is a direct emission type and is the use of fertilizer, the base emission value can be calculated by identifying the location and amount of fertilizer used, and if the carbon emission source is a direct emission type and is an owned animal, the base emission value can be calculated by identifying the location, method, and type of animal where the owned animal is kept.

[0122] And if the carbon emission source is an indirect emission type and uses steam (heat), the base emission value can be calculated by determining the amount of heat used from a district heating company, etc., and if the carbon emission source is an indirect emission type and uses electricity, the base emission value can be calculated by determining the amount of electricity used from a Korea Electric Power Corporation, etc.

[0123] In addition, if the carbon emission source is an indirect emission type and is water use, the base emission figure can be calculated by determining the water usage from the waterworks company, etc., and if the carbon emission source is an indirect emission type and is waste, the base emission figure can be calculated by determining the type of waste treatment, such as landfill / incineration / sewage, etc., the type of waste, and the amount of waste.

[0124] In addition, if the carbon emission source is other types of emissions, such as commuting to work / school or business trips, the base emission figure can be calculated through the results of a survey of personnel within the relevant subordinate organization.

[0125] In the subsequent step (e-2), the data processing unit (120) calculates the emission coefficient using the base emission value, and in the step (e-3), the data processing unit (120) calculates the carbon emission amount by multiplying the base emission value and the emission coefficient.

[0126] Once carbon emissions are calculated in this way, step (e-4) involves converting the carbon emissions calculated in step (e-3) into carbon dioxide equivalent (EO2eq).

[0127] The process of calculating carbon emissions for each carbon emission source can be performed in the same manner as above.

[0128] Meanwhile, after step (e), the information management unit (110) of the operation server (100) may further perform a step (add) in which additional carbon emission sources are input and registered from the administrator terminal (10), which will be described later.

[0129] And after step (e), step (f) may be further performed in which the information provision unit (130) of the operation server (100) provides carbon emission information by carbon emission source included in the sub-organization of the target system calculated by step (e) to the user terminal (20) owned by the user so that the information can be viewed.

[0130] Here, "user" refers to the entity that queries carbon emissions information by carbon source within the target system's sub-organization. In other words, the user may be an administrator, or a separate entity performing the information query.

[0131] FIG. 9 is a drawing showing a detailed process of step (f) in a method for providing information related to carbon emissions of a target system according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0132] As illustrated in Fig. 9, step (f) may include steps (f-1) to (f-4) in detail.

[0133] And FIGS. 10 to 12 are diagrams showing, by way of example, a first data dashboard, a second data dashboard, and a third data dashboard in a method for providing carbon emission-related information of a target system according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0134] As shown in Fig. 9, step (f) may include steps (f-1) to (f-3).

[0135] Step (f-1) is the process of providing a first data dashboard that shows carbon emissions by type for each sub-organization of the target system.

[0136] And as illustrated in Figure 10, the first data dashboard can provide displays of carbon emissions by direct emission type, indirect emission type, and other emission types, as well as monthly emissions, trend displays, emissions compared to sales, emissions compared to industry averages, and emissions compared to annual averages.

[0137] Step (f-2) is a process of providing a second data dashboard that indicates the carbon distribution ratio of each carbon emission source included in the sub-organization of the target system.

[0138] And as illustrated in Figure 11, the second data dashboard can display the carbon distribution of each carbon emission source included in the sub-organization of the target system as a square with a size corresponding to each item ratio within the overall boundary in the form of a large square box.

[0139] In this case, the second data dashboard displays the top n items in descending order of proportion, with darker colors from top to bottom, starting from the left. However, this is provided as an example, and the layout can be varied.

[0140] Step (f-3) is the process of providing a third data dashboard that shows the status of RE100 implementation achievement of the target system.

[0141] And as illustrated in Figure 12, the third data dashboard can provide a display of renewable energy production, a display of REC renewable energy certificate purchases, a display of production compared to the industry average, and a display of production compared to the annual average.

[0142] In particular, the REC renewable energy certificate purchase amount display can be automatically linked to the national certification transaction market when clicked.

[0143] In addition, the 'REC Renewable Energy Certificate Purchase' item shown in Figure 12 can be viewed in detail, and the detailed information can be displayed separately for 'amount already purchased', 'amount available for purchase', and 'amount expected to be available for purchase during the future set period'.

[0144] Here, the 'expected purchasable quantity for the future set period' can be calculated based on the average information for the period corresponding to the past year based on the current year.

[0145] At this time, the increase / decrease compared to the previous year can be considered, for example, the increase / decrease can be calculated by comparing the recent n months of the current year with the same n months of the past year based on the average, and then this increase / decrease can be applied to the average information for the corresponding period in the past year to calculate the 'expected purchasable amount for the future set period'.

[0146] And as described above, after step (e), the information management unit (110) of the operation server (100) may further perform an (add) step of receiving and registering additional carbon emission sources from the administrator terminal (10).

[0147] In addition to the criteria for automatically classifying carbon emission sources by the emission source classification template in step (d), this process may be provided so that the administrator terminal (10) can separately input additional carbon emission sources.

[0148] FIG. 13 is a drawing showing a detailed process of the (add) step in a method for providing carbon emission-related information of a target system according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0149] And FIG. 14 is a drawing showing an example of a screen provided to an administrator terminal so that an additional carbon emission source can be input in a method for providing carbon emission-related information of a target system according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0150] As illustrated in Fig. 13, the (add) step may include steps (add-1) to (add-6).

[0151] (add-1) step is a process in which the information management department (110) loads the industry-specific guidelines of the target system and provides them to the administrator terminal (10).

[0152] Through this process, the administrator can view the guidelines through the administrator terminal (10) and become familiar with the guidelines.

[0153] And the (add-2) step is a process in which the information management unit (110) provides mandatory input items for additional carbon emission sources to the administrator terminal (10), and the (add-3) step is a process in which the information management unit (110) receives and registers input data for mandatory input items entered by the administrator terminal (10).

[0154] In the case of the present invention, mandatory and non-mandatory input items for reporting emissions can be distinguished according to industry-specific guidelines, and through this process, managers can be guided to register mandatory input items as a priority.

[0155] Accordingly, the information management department (110) can hide non-mandatory input items from the administrator terminal (10) during the initial input process and display only mandatory items.

[0156] And the (add-4) step is a process in which the information management department (110) sends a notification message to the administrator terminal (10) asking whether to input non-mandatory input items for additional carbon emission sources.

[0157] That is, in this process, after mandatory input items are registered, whether or not to input non-mandatory input items is displayed on the administrator terminal (10).

[0158] Accordingly, when the information management department (110) receives an application for input of non-mandatory input items entered by the administrator terminal (20), a step (add-5) is performed to provide non-mandatory input items for additional carbon emission sources to the administrator terminal (20), and then a step (add-6) is performed to receive and register input data of non-mandatory input items entered by the information management department (110) by the administrator terminal (20).

[0159] In addition, as shown in Fig. 14, the registration information for carbon emission sources provided to the administrator terminal (10) may be composed of emission facility name, self-facility name, activity data (emission source) name, activity data (emission amount), energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, usage date, scope, registrant, registration date, and whether or not there are attached documents.

[0160] Among these, the attached document item in particular can provide a function that guides whether attached documents are required and whether they should be submitted.

[0161] For example, in the case of items requiring attachments, the document-shaped icon may be displayed as visually inactive by default, and when the administrator terminal (10) uploads an attachment, the document-shaped icon may be displayed by changing the color, etc. to appear visually active.

[0162] As described above, preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the present invention can be embodied in other specific forms, in addition to the embodiments described above, without departing from the spirit or scope thereof. Therefore, the above-described embodiments should be considered illustrative rather than restrictive, and accordingly, the present invention is not limited to the above description, but may be modified within the scope of the appended claims and their equivalents.
