[0046] FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating a motor according to one embodiment. FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of a motor according to one embodiment. FIG. 4 is an enlarged view of area A of FIG. 3. FIG. 5 is an exploded view of a motor according to one embodiment.
[0047] Referring to FIGS. 2 to 5, the motor (100) may include a stator (130), a rotor (151), and an impeller (152). The motor (100) may include a motor body (300) configured to accommodate the stator (130), the rotor (151), and the impeller (152).
[0048] The stator (130) may include a stator core (134), a stator coil (132), an insulator (133), and a rotor receiving portion (131). The stator (130) may be configured to generate magnetic flux when current is applied to the stator coil (132).
[0049] A rotor receiving portion (131) for receiving a rotor (151) may be provided at the center of the stator core (134). The rotor (151) may be placed in the rotor receiving portion (131). The rotor (151) may interact electromagnetically with the stator (130).
[0050] The stator coil (132) can be wound on the stator core (134) while the insulator (133) is coupled to the stator core (134).
[0051] The insulator (133) may be made of a material having electrical insulation properties. The insulator (133) surrounds the stator core (134) to insulate the stator core (134) and the stator coil (132).
[0052] The stator (130) may further include an insertion portion (135) provided at the bottom of the insulator (133). The insertion portion (135) may be provided to be inserted into the control unit.
[0053] The rotor (151) may include a rotor body (1511). The rotor body (1511) may include a cylindrical shape extending in the direction of the rotational axis (R) about which the rotor (151) rotates, but is not limited thereto.
[0054] The rotor (151) may include a rotor core (1512) that is arranged to rotate inside the stator (130). The rotor core (1512) may be made of a permanent magnet having magnetic properties, or may include a coil having electromagnetic properties. Accordingly, the rotor (151) may be arranged to be rotatable about a rotation axis (R) by electromagnetically interacting with the stator (130). The rotor core (1512) may be located at the middle side of the rotor body (1511). In one embodiment of the present invention, it is assumed that the rotor core (1512) is made of a permanent magnet.
[0055] The rotor (151) may include a bearing (1513). The bearing (1513) may be arranged on the rotor body (1511) to rotatably support the rotor (151). More specifically, the bearing (1513) may be arranged on a first side (1511a) adjacent to one end of the rotor body (1511). As will be described later, an impeller (152) may be coupled to one end of the rotor body (1511). The bearing (1513) may be positioned between the rotor core (1512) and the impeller (152). The direction from the bearing (1513) toward the impeller (152) may be defined as the downward direction. That is, the impeller (152) may be positioned lower than the bearing (1513) with respect to the rotor body (1511).
[0056] The rotor (151) may include an additional bearing (1514). The additional bearing (1514) may be arranged on the rotor body (1511) to rotatably support the rotor (151). More specifically, the additional bearing (1514) may be arranged on a second side (1511b) adjacent to the other end of the rotor body (1511). That is, the additional bearing (1514) may be arranged on the rotor body (1511) so as to be located on the opposite side of the bearing (1513) with respect to the rotor core (1512). The additional bearing (1514) may be located on an upper side of the rotor body (1511) than the bearing (1513).
[0057] The impeller (152) may include a rotor coupling portion (1523) to which the rotor (151) is coupled. When the rotor (151) is coupled to the rotor coupling portion (1523), the impeller (152) may rotate together with the rotor (151). The impeller (152) may be coupled to one end of the rotor (151). The impeller (152) may generate air flow by rotating while coupled to the rotor (151).
[0058] The impeller (152) may include a hub (1522) and a plurality of blades (1521) protruding from the hub (1522) to form a flow of air.
[0059] The hub (1522) may be provided so that its cross-sectional area decreases along the axial direction of the rotor (151). The hub (1522) may be provided so that air introduced in the axial direction is discharged in the radial direction of the rotor (151). Specifically, the hub (1522) may be provided so that its cross-sectional area decreases upward when the rotor (151) is arranged to extend in the vertical direction. In other words, the hub (1522) may be formed to extend from the outer surface of the rotor coupling portion (1523) so that the rotor coupling portion (1523) is arranged at the center. At this time, the direction in which the hub (1522) extends from the outer surface of the rotor coupling portion (1523) may be defined as the outer direction.
[0060] The impeller (152) may include a plurality of blades (1521) protruding from one surface of the hub (1522). The plurality of blades (1521) may be arranged to form an airflow by rotating together with the hub (1522). The plurality of blades (1521) may be arranged on the outer surface of the hub (1522). The plurality of blades (1521) and the hub (1522) may be provided as one piece.
[0061] The impeller (152) has a plurality of blades (1521) so that air flowing in from the upper side of the hub (1522) can be discharged radially outwardly from the rotor (151).
[0062] The motor (100) may include a diffuser (160). The diffuser (160) may include a diffuser body (165) that forms the outer shape of the diffuser (160). The diffuser (160) may include a diffuser upper surface (163). The diffuser (160) may include a diffuser flow path (164). The diffuser flow path (164) may be formed along the outer periphery of the diffuser upper surface (163).
[0063] The diffuser (160) may include diffuser vanes (161). The diffuser vanes (161) may be provided in multiples. The diffuser vanes (161) may be arranged to be inserted into the diffuser passage (164).
[0064] The diffuser (160) may be placed on the lower side of the impeller (152). Accordingly, the air discharged radially outwardly of the rotor (151) by the impeller (152) may flow into the diffuser passage (164), have its flow direction changed by the diffuser vane (161), and finally be discharged to the lower side of the diffuser (160). The diffuser (160) may include a cover portion coupling portion (162) (described later). A detailed description of the cover portion coupling portion (162) will be described later.
[0065] The motor (100) may include a motor body (300) that accommodates a stator (130), a rotor (151), and an impeller (152). The motor (100) may include a cover member (110). The motor (100) may include an upper fixing member (120) that supports the stator (130) to the motor body (300). The motor (100) may include a lower fixing member (140) that supports the stator (130) to the motor body (300). The motor (100) may include a motor cover (200) that is coupled to the motor body (300) to cover the motor body (300).
[0066] When the motor body (300) accommodates the rotor (151) and the impeller (152), it may include a cover portion (310) provided to cover the impeller (152).
[0067] The cover portion (310) may include an impeller cover (314) that is arranged to surround the impeller (152) and covers the impeller (152). The impeller cover (314) may be formed to include a shape that expands downward when the motor body (300) accommodates the rotor (151) and the impeller (152). For example, the impeller cover (314) may include a hollow hemispherical shape with an open lower portion, but the shape of the impeller cover (314) is not limited thereto.
[0068] The cover portion (310) may include a diffuser coupling portion (315). The diffuser coupling portion (315) may be provided to extend downward from the outer periphery of the impeller cover (314). The cover coupling portion (162) of the diffuser (160) may be inserted into the diffuser coupling portion (315). Through this, the diffuser (160) may be coupled to the cover portion (310) and coupled to the motor body (300).
[0069] The cover part (310) may include a motor body hole (311, see FIG. 6). The motor body hole (311) may be provided on the upper side of the impeller cover (314). The motor body hole (311) may be formed on the upper side of the impeller cover (314) to allow air to flow to the diffuser (160).
[0070] A protruding rib (316, 317) may be formed on the inner surface (316) of the cover portion. The protruding rib (316, 317) may be provided to protrude inward along the inner surface (316) of the cover portion.
[0071] The protruding ribs (316, 317) may include a first protruding rib (317) and a second protruding rib (318). The first protruding rib (317) may be formed closer to the motor body hole (311) than the second protruding rib (318).
[0072] The cover part (310) may include a motor cover coupling part (312). The motor cover coupling part (312) may be formed along the outer periphery of the motor body hole (311). The motor cover (200) may be coupled to the motor body (300) through the motor cover coupling part (312). More specifically, the motor cover coupling part (312) may include a first coupling part (313). The first coupling part (313) may be formed to protrude outward from the motor cover coupling part (312). In other words, the first coupling part (313) may be formed to protrude outward along the outer periphery of the motor cover coupling part (312). The first coupling part (313) may be provided to be inserted into the motor cover (200). Through this, the motor cover (200) may be coupled to the motor cover coupling part (312) of the motor body (300). Therefore, the motor cover (200) can be combined with the motor body (300).
[0073] The motor body (300) may include a support (320). The support (320) may rotatably support the rotor (151) when the rotor (151) and the impeller (152) are accommodated therein. The support (320) may accommodate the stator (130). The support (320) may be formed to protrude from the cover (310) and extend upward.
[0074] The support (320) may include a support (329). The support (329) may be formed to extend in a direction parallel to the direction in which the rotation axis (R) of the rotor (151) extends from the cover (310). The support (329) may include a plurality of support stands (329) spaced apart from the cover (310) along the outer surface of the cover (310) in a direction parallel to the direction in which the rotation axis (R) of the rotor (151) extends. The spacing between the plurality of support stands (329) may be provided at the same interval. Although the drawing shows three support stands (329), it is to be understood that the number of support stands (329) may vary.
[0075] A plurality of supports (329) can be arranged along the outer periphery of the motor body hole (311). Accordingly, a motor body hole (311) can be located between the plurality of supports (329).
[0076] The support member (320) may include a support rib (328). The support rib (328) may be formed to protrude from the support member (329). The support rib (328) may be formed to protrude in a direction intersecting with the direction in which the rotation axis (R) extends from the support member (329). In other words, the support rib (328) may be formed to protrude outward from the support member (329).
[0077] The support rib (328) may be formed to extend along the direction in which the support member (329) extends and to be connected to the cover member (310). That is, the support rib (328) may be formed to protrude from the cover member (310) and to extend along the direction in which the support member (329) extends. Since the support rib (328) protrudes outward from the support member (329), the support rib (328) may protrude from the outer surface of the cover member (310) more than the support member (329).
[0078] The support (320) may include a bearing support (325). The bearing support (325) may be provided so that a bearing (1513) of the rotor (151) is coupled thereto. The bearing support (325) may be arranged to be surrounded by a plurality of supports (329). The bearing support (325) may be arranged to be spaced apart from the cover (310). The bearing support (325) may be arranged on the upper side of the cover (310) to be spaced apart from the cover (310). The bearing support (325) may be positioned between the stator (130) and the cover (310) when the stator (130) is accommodated in the support (320). Therefore, the bearing support (325) may be provided to be accessible from the outside of the motor body (300) regardless of the cover (310).
[0079] The bearing support (325) may be supported by the support (329) and may be disposed spaced apart from the cover (310). More specifically, the support (320) may include a bearing support connecting member (3291) formed to protrude inwardly from the support (329). The bearing support connecting member (3291) may be provided to protrude inwardly from the middle side of the support (329) so as to be spaced apart from the cover (310). The bearing support (325) may be connected to the bearing support connecting member (3291). Therefore, the bearing support (325) may be disposed spaced apart from the cover (310).
[0080] When the bearing (1513) is coupled to the bearing support (325), the rotor (151) and the impeller (152) can be rotatably coupled to the motor cover (200). The bearing support (325) can include a bearing support through-hole (326). When the bearing (1513) is coupled to the bearing support (325), the rotor (151) can be arranged to pass through the bearing support through-hole (326). In addition, the rotor (151) can be arranged to continue to extend downward and pass through the motor body hole (311) of the cover (310).
[0081] The support member (320) may include an insertion hole forming rib (321). The insertion hole forming rib (321) may form a stator insertion hole (322) through which the stator (130) may be inserted into the support member (320). That is, the stator (130) may be inserted into the support member (320).
[0082] The support member (320) may include a stator mounting groove (324) capable of mounting an inserted stator (130). The support member (320) may include a stator support member (323) that stably supports the mounted stator (130) on the support member (320).
[0083] The insertion hole forming rib (321) may be formed to protrude from the upper portion of the support (329). More specifically, the insertion hole forming rib may be formed to protrude in a direction intersecting the direction in which the rotation axis (R) extends from the upper portion of each of the plurality of support stands (329), thereby connecting the plurality of support stands (329). Through this, the insertion hole forming rib (321) may be formed to have a substantially ring shape. A stator insertion hole (322) may be formed at the center of the insertion hole forming rib (321).
[0084] The stator mounting groove (324) may be formed on the lower side of the stator insertion hole (322). A space formed by surrounding a plurality of support members (329) may form a part of the stator mounting groove (324). More specifically, the inner surfaces of the plurality of support members (329) may form the side surfaces of the stator mounting groove (324).
[0085] The inner surface of the support (329) arranged to face the stator mounting groove (324) can form a stator support portion (323). Accordingly, the stator (130) is accommodated in the stator mounting groove (324), and the side surface of the stator (130) can be supported by the stator support portion (323), so that the stator (130) can be accommodated more stably. In addition, when the stator (130) is accommodated in the stator mounting groove (324), the insertion hole forming rib (321) can support the stator (130) by coming into contact with the side surface of the stator (130).
[0086] The stator mounting groove (324) can be formed on the upper side of the bearing support (325). That is, when the stator (130) is mounted in the stator mounting groove (324), the stator (130) can be accommodated to be positioned on the upper side of the bearing support (325).
[0087] The lower fixing member (140) may be coupled to the stator (130) to cover the lower portion of the stator (130). The lower fixing member (140) of the stator (130) may include a lower fixing member body (142) forming an outer shape. The lower fixing member body (142) may include a lower fixing member hole (141) at the center and may have an approximately ring shape. The lower fixing member (140) may include a lower fixing member connecting portion (143). The lower fixing member connecting portion (143) may be formed to extend upward from an outer circumferential surface of the lower fixing member body (142).
[0088] The lower fixing member (140) can be coupled to the stator (130) so that the lower fixing member hole (141) communicates with the bearing (1513) hole, thereby covering the lower portion of the stator (130). More specifically, the lower fixing member (140) can be fixed to the support member (320) by having the lower fixing member body (142) inserted into the bearing (1513) hole. The lower fixing member connecting portion (143) can support the stator (130) by contacting the side surface of the stator. Therefore, the stator (130) can be supported on the support member (320) by the lower fixing member (140).
[0089] The cover member (110) can cover the upper part of the stator (130) receiving groove by being combined with the insertion hole forming rib (321). The cover member (110) can include a cover part (310) body (112) that forms an outer shape. The cover part (310) body (112) includes an additional bearing support member (111) in the center and can have an approximately ring shape. The cover member (110) can include a cover part (310) connecting portion (113) that is formed to extend downward from the outer circumferential surface of the cover part (310) body (112). The cover part (310) connecting portion (113) can be combined with the insertion hole forming rib (321) through a connecting portion (3211) (135) formed in the insertion hole forming rib (321). The cover part (310) material connecting part (113) and the insertion hole forming rib (321) can be connected by a connecting member (114) such as a screw, but the connecting method is not limited thereto. As the cover part (310) material connecting part (113) is connected to the insertion hole forming rib (321), the cover part (110) can be supported by the supporting member (320).
[0090] The upper fixing member (120) may be coupled to the stator (130) to cover the upper portion of the stator (130). The upper fixing member (120) of the stator (130) may include an upper fixing member body (122) forming an outer shape. The upper fixing member body (122) may include an upper fixing member hole (121) at the center and may have a roughly ring shape. The upper fixing member (120) may include an upper fixing member connecting portion (123). The upper fixing member connecting portion (123) may be formed to extend downward from an outer circumferential surface of the upper fixing member body (122).
[0091] The upper fixing member (120) can be coupled to the stator (130) so that the upper fixing member hole (121) communicates with the additional bearing support member (111) and can cover the upper portion of the stator (130). More specifically, the upper fixing member (120) can be fixed to the support member (320) as the upper fixing member body (122) is inserted into the additional bearing support member (111) and fixed to the cover member (110).
[0092] The upper fixed member connecting portion (123) can support the stator (130) by contacting the side surface of the stator. Therefore, the stator (130) can be supported by the support portion (320) by the upper fixed member (120). The additional bearing (1514) can be coupled to the additional bearing support portion (111) by being inserted into the groove of the upper fixed member (120). Therefore, the additional bearing (1514) can be coupled to the cover member (110) to support the rotor (151) so that it can rotate.
[0093] Below, the process of assembling the motor (100) is examined in detail.
[0094] An impeller (152) may be coupled to one end of the rotor body (1511). A bearing (1513) may be arranged on a first side (1511a) adjacent to one end of the rotor body (1511), and an additional bearing (1514) may be arranged on a second side (1511b) adjacent to the other end of the rotor body (1511). A rotor core (1512) may be arranged in the rotor body (1511) so as to be positioned between the bearing (1513) and the additional bearing (1514). The rotor (151) and the impeller (152) coupled to the rotor (151) may be defined as a rotor assembly (150). The rotor assembly (150) may be arranged to rotate by electromagnetically interacting with the stator (130).
[0095] The rotor assembly (150) is arranged such that the second side (1511b) faces upward and the impeller (152) faces downward, and can be inserted into the rotor body (1511) from the lower side and accommodated in the motor body (300). When the motor body (300) accommodates the rotor assembly (150), the cover part (310) can accommodate the impeller (152).
[0096] When the rotor assembly (150) is accommodated in the motor body (300), the lower fixing member (140), the stator (130), the upper fixing member (120), and the cover member (110) may be coupled with the rotor body (1511).
[0097] When the rotor assembly (150) is inserted into the motor body (300), the rotor body (1511) can be inserted into the motor body (300) by sequentially passing through the motor body hole (311), the bearing support through-hole (326), the lower fixing member hole (141), the rotor receiving portion (131), the upper fixing member hole (121), and the additional bearing support portion (111).
[0098] The impeller (152) may be covered by the cover part (310) so as to be in contact with the first protruding rib (317) formed along the inner surface (316) of the cover part. The impeller (152) may be covered by the cover part (310) so as to be in contact with the second protruding rib (318) formed along the inner surface (316) of the cover part. Thereafter, when the impeller (152) rotates, it may come into contact with the first protruding rib (317) and the second protruding rib (318), but the first protruding rib (317) and the second protruding rib (318) may be worn due to the contact with the impeller (152) so as not to come into contact with the impeller (152).
[0099] The distance at which the impeller (152) is separated from the inner surface of the cover (316) can be adjusted by the position and degree of protrusion of the first protruding rib (317) and the second protruding rib (318) on the inner surface of the cover (316).
[0100] After the impeller (152) is covered by the cover (310), the bearing (1513) can be coupled to the bearing support (325). That is, the rotor assembly (150) can be coupled to the motor body (300) after adjusting the distance between the impeller (152) and the inner surface (316) of the cover. Since the bearing support (325) is not covered by the cover (310) and is spaced apart from the cover (310), it can be provided to be accessible from the outside of the motor body (300). Therefore, even after the impeller (152) is accommodated, a user can access the bearing support (325) from the outside of the motor body (300) and couple the bearing support (325) to the bearing (1513). Through this, the distance between the impeller (152) and the inner surface (316) of the cover part can be adjusted as desired by the user, and then the rotor assembly (150) can be combined, thereby adjusting the position of the impeller (152). The user can approach the bearing support (325) from the outside through the opening (327, see FIG. 6) and combine the bearing (1513). A detailed description thereof will be provided later.
[0101] After the bearing (1513) is coupled to the bearing support (325), an additional bearing (1514) can be coupled to the additional bearing support (111). Thereafter, a motor cover (200) can be coupled to the motor body (300) to cover the motor body (300).
[0102] FIG. 6 is a drawing illustrating a motor body according to one embodiment. FIG. 7 is a drawing illustrating the motor body of FIG. 6 from a different angle. FIG. 11 is a drawing illustrating a motor cover coupled to the motor body of FIG. 10 from a different angle.
[0103] Referring to FIGS. 6 to 11, the support (320) may include an opening (327). The opening (327) may be formed to allow access to the bearing support (325) from the outside of the support (320). The opening (327) may be formed in the support (320) in a direction intersecting the direction in which the rotation axis (R) extends. The opening (327) may be formed between a plurality of supports (329) that are spaced apart from each other. The user may adjust the distance at which the impeller (152) is covered by the cover (310) and the impeller (152) and the inner surface (316) of the cover are spaced apart from each other, and then approach the bearing support (325) from the outside of the motor body (300) through the opening (327) to couple the bearing (1513). In other words, when the cover part (310) covers the impeller (152), the bearing (1513) can be arranged in a state where it can be connected to the bearing support part (325), and the user can access the bearing support part (325) through the opening (327) to connect the bearing (1513) to the bearing support part (325). The method by which the user connects the bearing (1513) to the bearing support part (325) may include a method of applying an adhesive or the like, but this is merely an example, and various methods by which the user connects the bearing (1513) to the bearing support part (325) may be provided.
[0104] The motor cover (200) may include a motor cover housing (203) that forms an outer shape. The motor cover housing (203) may include a generally cylindrical shape, but is not limited thereto.

[0108] The motor cover (200) may include a first guide surface (211) and a second guide surface (212) formed on the inner surface of the motor cover housing (203). The first guide surface (211) may be provided to cover the support portion (320) while being spaced apart from the support portion (320) when the motor cover (200) is coupled to the motor body (300).
[0109] The second guide surface (212) may be extended downwardly from the first guide surface (211) toward the impeller (152). In other words, the second guide surface (212) may be formed by extending from the first guide surface (211) such that the inner surface of the motor cover (200) narrows from the support portion (320) toward the cover portion (310).
[0110] The motor cover hole (202) can be arranged to communicate with the motor body hole (311) of the motor body (300).
[0111] When the rotor assembly (150) rotates and the impeller (152) causes air to flow from the upper side to the lower side, the air can flow into the motor cover housing (203) through the motor cover hole (202). The air that has flowed into the motor cover housing (203) is guided by the first guide surface (211) and the second guide surface (212) and flows into the motor cover hole (202) so that it can be discharged to the outside of the motor cover (200). The discharged air can be drawn into the motor body hole (311) of the motor body (300), pass through the impeller (152), and be discharged through an air discharge port that is provided to be open on the lower side of the cover portion (310) (see FIG. 2).
[0112] The motor cover (200) may include a support groove (222) formed on the inner surface of the motor cover (200). The support groove (222) may be formed to extend in a direction parallel to the direction in which the rotation axis (R) extends to the first guide surface (211).
[0113] The support groove (222) may include a support groove cutout (221) that is formed by cutting out to open toward the inner surface of the motor cover housing (203). [0114] When the motor cover (200) is coupled to the motor body (300), the support rib (328) of the motor body (300) can be inserted into the support groove (222) of the motor cover (200). Accordingly, the motor cover (200) can be supported by the motor body (300) and coupled with the motor body (300).
[0115] The support groove (222) may include a plurality of support grooves (222) formed along the inner surface of the motor cover (200). A plurality of support ribs (328) may be inserted into each of the plurality of support grooves (222).
[0116] The motor cover (200) may include a motor cover extension (225) formed to extend downward. The motor cover extension (225) may be formed to protrude downward from the housing bottom surface (208) where the second guide surface (212) is formed.
[0117] The motor cover (200) may include a through hole (223, 224) formed in the second guide surface (212) so that the support (329) and the support rib (328) may pass through it when coupled to the motor body (300). More specifically, the motor cover extension (225) may include a support rib through hole (223) and a support through hole (224) formed to open downward.
