Description

[0001] Protective plate for an electrical energy storage device of an electrically powered special protection vehicle and arrangement

[0002] The invention relates to a protective plate for an electrical energy storage device of an electrically driven special protection vehicle according to patent claim 1. Furthermore, the invention relates to an arrangement of a protective plate in an underbody area of an electrically driven special protection vehicle according to patent claim 4.

[0003] Protective plates for combustion-engine-powered armored vehicles are already well known in the art. The protective plate can be used to protect the underbody of the armored vehicle from explosives, bullets, or similar attacks.

[0004] The object of the invention is to provide a protective plate for an electrical energy storage device of an electrically driven special protection vehicle and an arrangement of a protective plate in an underbody area of an electrically driven special protection vehicle, so that safety against damage and deformation of the electrical energy storage device can be particularly increased.

[0005] This object is achieved according to the invention by a protective plate for an electrical energy storage device of an electrically powered special protection vehicle having the features of patent claim 1 and by an arrangement of a protective plate in an underbody area of an electrically powered special protection vehicle having the features of patent claim 4. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent patent claims and the description.

[0006] A first aspect of the invention relates to a protective plate for an electrical energy storage device of an electrically powered special-armored vehicle. The special-armored vehicle is designed, for example, as a passenger car. Preferably, the special-armored vehicle, particularly in its fully manufactured state, comprises the protective plate, and in particular the electrical energy storage device. The protective plate is formed separately from the electrical energy storage device, particularly separately from a storage housing of the electrical energy storage device.

[0007] A special protection vehicle can be understood, in particular, as a special protection vehicle. The special protection vehicle preferably has at least one integrated armor plating to protect the occupants or cargo of the special protection vehicle from external attacks. The special protection vehicle can therefore also be referred to as a security vehicle. The protective plate preferably comprises the armor plating. Thus, the integrated armor plating of the special protection vehicle is, for example, at least partially formed by the protective plate. The special protection vehicle can have additional protective elements, in particular armor plating elements, formed separately from the protective plate. The special protection vehicle can, in particular, be referred to as an armored vehicle.

[0008] The term "electrically driven" refers, in particular, to the fact that the special protection vehicle has at least one electric machine by means of which the special protection vehicle can be driven electrically, for example, purely electrically. This means that the special protection vehicle is a battery-electric vehicle or a hybrid vehicle. In particular, if the special protection vehicle is a battery-electric vehicle, i.e., if the special protection vehicle is designed as a battery-electric special protection vehicle, the special protection vehicle can be understood, in particular, as a fully electrified vehicle.

[0009] Preferably, the electrical machine can be supplied with electrical energy, in particular stored or chemically bound in the electrical energy storage device, to drive the special armored vehicle by means of the electrical energy storage device. In other words, the electrical energy storage device is designed as an electrical traction storage device. The electrical energy storage device is designed, for example, as a battery or an accumulator.

[0010] In order to achieve particularly high electrical power for electrical, in particular purely electrical, propulsion of the special armored vehicle, the electrical energy storage device can have an electrical voltage, in particular an electrical operating or nominal voltage, which is preferably greater than 50 volts, in particular above 60 volts, and preferably amounts to several hundred volts. In other words, the electrical energy storage device is preferably designed as a high-voltage component, i.e., as a high-voltage storage device.

[0011] The electrical energy store preferably has at least one storage housing which at least partially, in particular predominantly or completely, delimits or forms at least one receiving space of the electrical energy store. Preferably, a plurality of, in particular electrical, storage elements are arranged or accommodated within the storage housing or in the receiving space. In other words, the receiving space is designed to accommodate the storage elements. The storage elements are preferably designed as storage cells. The electrical energy store preferably has a plurality of modules, in particular cell modules, each of which has a plurality of storage elements, in particular storage cells. The cell modules are preferably arranged in the receiving space or within the storage housing.

[0012] The protective plate has at least one fastening area, via which the protective plate is to be or is to be held in an underbody area of the special protection vehicle, in particular on a component of the special protection vehicle arranged in the underbody area. In other words, the protective plate can be or is fastened via the fastening area in the underbody area, for example, in particular at least indirectly or directly, to the component.

[0013] The underbody area of the special protection vehicle can be understood in particular as an underfloor area of the special protection vehicle. Furthermore, the underbody area can be understood in particular as a lower area of the special protection vehicle with respect to a vertical direction of the special protection vehicle. For example, the underbody area is a partial area of the special protection vehicle arranged or located below a floor element of a body of the special protection vehicle in the vertical direction of the vehicle. The floor element is designed, for example, as the main floor of the body. The body is preferably designed as a self-supporting body. For example, the floor element delimits an interior of the special protection vehicle in the vertical direction of the vehicle at least partially, in particular predominantly or completely, for example directly. The interior, which can in particular be referred to as the vehicle interior, can in particular be understood to mean a passenger compartment or a passenger cell.

[0014] In order to be able to particularly increase safety against damage and deformation of the electrical energy storage device, it is provided that the protective plate has at least one protective area, by which at least all storage elements of the electrical energy storage device, in particular the receiving space, can be covered or covered downwards in the vertical direction of the vehicle, in particular at least directly or indirectly, in order to protect the electrical energy storage device, in particular the storage cells or the receiving space, by means of the protective plate at least from being exploded. In other words, the protective plate, which is arranged below the electrical energy storage device in the vertical direction of the vehicle, extends in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and in the transverse direction of the vehicle below all storage elements, in particular below the receiving space. The protective area can be understood in particular as a covering area for the electrical energy storage device.

[0015] By means of the protective plate, in particular by means of the protective area of the protective plate, the electrical energy storage device is protected or can be protected at least from explosions. By means of the protective plate, in particular by means of the protective area of the protective plate, at least the storage elements are protected or can be protected from explosions. In other words, the protective plate is designed or provided to protect the electrical energy storage device, in particular the storage cells, arranged behind it, in particular above it with respect to the vertical direction of the vehicle.

[0016] The term “blast” can be understood in particular as an explosion or detonation caused, for example, by explosives. For example, the blasting is an explosion caused or induced by a hand grenade. Thus, the underbody area, in particular the electrical energy storage device, can be protected by means of the protective plate from a hand grenade detonating in the area of the special armored vehicle, in particular below the special armored vehicle in relation to the vehicle’s vertical direction. The invention is based in particular on the following findings and considerations: Because all storage elements, in particular the receiving space, can be covered or covered, in particular completely, by the protective plate, the storage elements can be completely protected from blasting in the floor area. The protective plate can therefore be understood in particular as floor armoring for the electrical energy storage device. This can prevent damage, in particular destruction, to the electrical energy storage device, in particular to the storage elements. Furthermore, the security of the special armored vehicle against external attacks, in particular against explosive attacks, can be significantly increased. Overall, it can be seen that a floor protection plate in the form of the protective plate can be realized to protect against vehicle explosive attacks in electrified vehicles with electrical energy storage devices, in particular high-voltage batteries. Thus, by means of the protective plate according to the invention, the electrical energy storage device can be protected against explosive attacks in the floor area in electrified, in particular fully electrified, security vehicles.

[0017] For example, it is provided that the receiving space, in particular the electrical energy storage device, can be covered or is covered by the protective plate, in particular the protective area, over its entire length extending in the vehicle's longitudinal direction and over its entire width extending in the vehicle's transverse direction downwards, in particular directly, in order to protect the electrical energy storage device by means of the protective plate at least from explosions. In other words, the protective plate, in particular the protective area of the protective plate, extends in the vehicle's longitudinal direction and in the vehicle's transverse direction at least over an entire base area of the receiving space, in particular of the electrical energy storage device, for example the storage housing, wherein the protective plate, in particular the protective area, is arranged below the electrical energy storage device in the vehicle's vertical direction. This means that the protective plate, in particular the protective area, extends in the vertical direction of the vehicle below the electrical energy storage device at least over the entire length of the receiving space, in particular of the electrical energy storage device, extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and at least over the entire width of the receiving space, in particular of the electrical energy storage device, extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle. A length of the protective plate, in particular of the protective area, extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle is therefore at least as long as the length of the receiving space, in particular of the electrical energy storage device, extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and a width of the protective plate, in particular of the protective area, extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle is at least as wide as the width of the receiving space, in particular of the electrical energy storage device, extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle.Because the electrical energy storage device is covered downwards in the vertical direction of the vehicle, in particular completely, by the protective plate or by means of the protective plate, complete protection of the electrical energy storage device, in particular high-voltage storage device protection, can be achieved against explosions in the floor area.

[0018] The length of the receiving space or the electrical energy storage device extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle can be understood as the total length of the receiving space or the electrical energy storage device. The width of the receiving space or the electrical energy storage device extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle can be understood as the total width of the receiving space or the electrical energy storage device.

[0019] For example, the electrical energy storage device is protected or can be protected from fire by the protective plate. This means that the electrical energy storage device is protected or can be protected from explosions and fire and / or similar attacks by the protective plate. "Fire can be understood, in particular, as the firing of a firearm or projectile against the armored vehicle, particularly the underbody area.

[0020] In a further embodiment, it is provided that the protective plate is formed, in particular entirely, from aluminum, in particular from an aluminum alloy. This means that a material of the protective plate, in particular referred to as the material, is aluminum or the aluminum alloy. In other words, the protective plate is designed as an aluminum plate. This makes it possible to particularly increase the mechanical load-bearing capacity of the protective plate in a particularly weight-effective manner. This makes it possible to particularly increase the safety against damage and deformation of the electrical energy storage device, and at the same time, to keep the weight of the protective plate, in particular of the special armored vehicle, particularly low.By means of the protective plate made of aluminum, dynamic bulging and / or plastic deformation of the protective plate due to the impact or during the impact can be controlled, so that the electrical energy storage device, in particular the charged storage cells, are not damaged.

[0021] Alternatively, the protective plate can be made of steel. Furthermore, the protective plate can alternatively or additionally be constructed as a sandwich structure, in particular with other materials. For example, one of the materials of the sandwich-structured protective plate can be steel or aluminum, whereby the protective plate can comprise other materials, in particular materials other than steel and / or aluminum.

[0022] In a further embodiment, it is provided that the protective plate is held or retained exclusively on the body, in particular on a body component, of the special armored vehicle and the electrical energy storage device via the fastening area, at least indirectly, in particular directly. In other words, the protective plate is held or retained on the body, in particular on at least one body component, via the fastening area, decoupled from a storage housing fastening, via which the storage housing, in particular the electrical energy storage device, is to be held or retained in the underbody area. This means that the protective plate is to be held or retained on the body, in particular on at least one body component, via the fastening area, bypassing the storage housing, in particular at least indirectly or directly. The protective plate can therefore not be held or retained on the storage housing, in particular via the fastening area, but can be held or retained on the body or body component via the fastening area. The protective plate and the storage housing, in particular the electrical energy storage device, can therefore be fastened or attachable independently of one another, for example to the body component. As a result, the storage housing fastening of the special armored vehicle can be realized, for example, in a manner equivalent to a storage housing fastening of an unarmored vehicle. The storage housing, in particular the storage housing fastening, can therefore be used across design variants for the special armored vehicle and the non-armored special armored vehicle. As a result, the manufacturing effort, in particular manufacturing costs, of the special armored vehicle can be kept particularly low.The body component is, for example, a side sill of a special armored vehicle. Alternatively, the protective plate can be attached to the body component via the side sill.

[0023] A second aspect of the invention relates to an arrangement of a protective plate, in particular according to the first aspect of the invention, in an underbody area of an electrically powered special armored vehicle. Advantages and advantageous embodiments of the first aspect of the invention are to be regarded as advantages and advantageous embodiments of the second aspect of the invention, and vice versa.

[0024] The protective plate is held in the underbody area of the special protection vehicle via at least one fastening area of the protective plate.

[0025] The special protection vehicle has at least one electrical energy storage device, which is preferably arranged in the underbody area. The electrical energy storage device is preferably arranged vertically below a floor element, in particular a main floor, of a body of the special protection vehicle. In other words, the electrical energy storage device is designed as an underfloor storage device, in particular as an underfloor battery.

[0026] In order to be able to particularly increase safety against damage and deformation of the electrical energy storage device, it is provided that all storage cells of the electrical energy storage device are covered downwards by at least one protective area of the protective plate in the vertical direction of the vehicle in order to protect the electrical energy storage device from being exploded by means of the protective plate.

[0027] In a further embodiment, it is provided that the protective plate extends in the transverse direction of the vehicle at least as far as the respective side sills of the special protection vehicle, in particular the body. In other words, the special protection vehicle, in particular the body, has at least one first side sill and at least one second side sill spaced apart from the first side sill in the transverse direction of the vehicle, wherein the protective plate extends in the transverse direction of the vehicle at least from one of the side sills, in particular from the first side sill, as far as the other side sill, in particular the second side sill. This means that a width of the protective plate extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle is at least as large or wide as a distance between the side sills extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle. This allows the underbody area to be completely protected from impacts in the transverse direction of the vehicle. This significantly increases the safety against damage and deformation of the electrical energy storage unit.

[0028] In a further embodiment, it is provided that the protective plate is held exclusively on the body, in particular on at least one of the side sills, via the fastening area in relation to the body, in particular in relation to at least one of the side sills, and the electrical energy storage device. In other words, the protective plate is decoupled above the fastening area from a storage housing fastening, via which a storage housing of the electrical energy storage device, in particular the electrical energy storage device, is held in the underbody area, for example on at least one of the side sills, on the body, for example on at least one of the side sills, in particular at least indirectly or directly. This means that the protective plate is held or fixed in the underbody area, in particular above the fastening area, without the mediation of the storage housing. The protective plate can thus be mounted in the underbody area independently of the storage housing, allowing the storage housing and / or the storage housing mounting, particularly if structurally identical, to be used across all models of the special armored vehicle and a non-armored vehicle. This allows manufacturing expenditure, particularly manufacturing costs, of the special armored vehicle to be kept particularly low.

[0029] In a further embodiment, the protective plate is spaced apart from the electrical energy storage device, in particular from the storage housing, in the vertical direction of the vehicle. This makes it particularly easy to prevent any unwanted connection between the protective plate and the electrical energy storage device, in particular to the storage housing, allowing the storage housing to be used across all design variants for both special-armored vehicles and non-armored vehicles. Furthermore, in the event of deformation of the protective plate, impact on the electrical energy storage device can be avoided, thereby significantly increasing safety against damage and deformation of the electrical energy storage device. For example, it is provided that the width of the electrical energy storage device, in particular of the storage housing, extending in particular in the transverse direction of the vehicle, amounts to at least 50 percent, in particular at least 60, 70, 80, 90 or 95 percent, of the total width of the special armored vehicle extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle. In other words, at least 50 percent, in particular 60, 70, 80, 90 or 95 percent, of the underbody area, in particular the underbody, can be covered or is covered downwards in the vertical direction of the vehicle by the protective plate. This allows the use of a particularly large electrical energy storage device, whereby the electrical, in particular purely electric, range of the special armored vehicle can be significantly increased. At the same time, this electrical energy storage device can be particularly well protected against explosive damage. For example, the width of the electrical energy storage unit corresponds to the overall width of the armored vehicle. In other words, the protective plate extends in the transverse direction of the vehicle across the entire width of the underbody area, particularly the underbody.

[0030] In a further embodiment, it is provided that the protective plate projects outwards beyond the electrical energy storage device, in particular the receiving space, in the transverse direction of the vehicle, in particular on both sides. This means that the protective plate extends further outwards in the transverse direction of the vehicle, in particular on both sides, than the electrical energy storage device, in particular the storage housing and / or the receiving space. Alternatively or additionally, it is provided, for example, that the protective plate projects forwards and / or rearwards in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle beyond the electrical energy storage device, in particular the storage housing and / or the receiving space. This means that the protective plate extends further forwards and / or rearwards in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle than the electrical energy storage device, in particular the storage housing. This allows the electrical energy storage device to be protected from fragments and / or projectiles flying diagonally from the side, particularly with respect to the vertical direction of the vehicle. This significantly increases safety against damage or deformation of the electrical energy storage device. The protective plate can therefore be used to protect the electrical energy storage device from explosive impacts on the underbody area at an oblique angle. For example, it is provided that the protective plate extends forward in the vehicle's longitudinal direction at least as far as a front axle of the special armored vehicle and / or the protective plate extends rearward in the vehicle's longitudinal direction at least as far as a rear axle of the special armored vehicle. The front axle and / or the rear axle can each be understood to mean a respective vehicle axle, with the rear axle being arranged behind the front axle in the vehicle's longitudinal direction.

[0031] Overall, it can be seen that by means of the protective plate, for example, a floor armoring can be achieved over at least the entire base area of the electrical energy storage device, in particular the receiving space, and for example even beyond that in certain areas.

[0032] In a further embodiment, the protective plate is designed as a single piece. This means that the protective plate is formed from a single piece, for example, a monoblock. The protective plate therefore does not have any separately formed components that are subsequently joined together, particularly after their respective production. In other words, the protective plate is not a composite plate, meaning that the protective plate does not have a multi-layer structure. This allows the manufacturing costs of the protective plate to be kept particularly low.

[0033] Alternatively, the protective plate can be designed as a composite plate, for example, in a sandwich construction. The protective plate can therefore be constructed in several pieces.

[0034] Further features of the invention emerge from the claims, the figures, and the description of the figures. The features and combinations of features mentioned above in the description, as well as the features and combinations of features mentioned below in the description of the figures and / or shown alone in the figures, can be used not only in the respective specified combination, but also in other combinations or on their own.

[0044] Fig. 1 shows a schematic partial sectional view of an arrangement 1 of a protective plate 2 in an underbody area 3 of an electrically powered special armored vehicle 4. Fig. 2 shows the arrangement 1 in a schematic plan view. Fig. 3 shows the arrangement 1 in a schematic and perspective partial sectional view. The protective plate 2 is preferably designed as an armored protective plate 2. The protective plate 2 can be understood in particular as a protective plate 2 for an electrical energy storage device 5 of the special armored vehicle 4, wherein the electrical energy storage device 5 is not shown in Fig. 3.

[0045] The special protection vehicle 4 has the electrical energy storage device 5, which is arranged in the underbody area 3. The electrical energy storage device 5 has at least one storage housing 6, which at least partially, in particular predominantly or completely, delimits or forms a receiving space 6a. A plurality of storage elements 5a, in particular storage cells, are arranged in the receiving space 6a. In the exemplary embodiment, the electrical energy storage device 5, in particular the storage housing 6, is arranged in the vehicle vertical direction 7 of the special protection vehicle 4 under a floor element 8 of a, in particular self-supporting, body 9 of the special protection vehicle 4.

[0046] The protective plate 2 has at least one fastening area 10, via which the protective plate 2 is to be or is held in the underbody area 3 of the special armored vehicle 4. In the exemplary embodiment, the protective plate 2 is designed as a flat plate. In other words, the protective plate 2 is flat or planar. The protective plate 2 is preferably made of aluminum 16.

[0047] In order to be able to particularly increase security against damage and deformation of the electrical energy storage device 5, and in particular security against external attacks of the special protection vehicle 4, it is provided that the protective plate 2 has at least one protective area 11, by which the storage elements 5a, in particular all storage elements 5a, of the electrical energy storage device 5 are covered or can be covered downwards in the vehicle vertical direction 7 in order to protect the electrical energy storage device 5 from being exploded by means of the protective plate.

[0048] Preferably, it is provided that the receiving space 6a, in particular the electrical energy storage device 5, can be covered or covered downwards, in particular directly, by the protective area 11 or by means of the protective area 11 over its entire length 13 extending in the vehicle longitudinal direction 12 and over its entire width 15 extending in the vehicle transverse direction 14 in the vehicle vertical direction 7, in order to protect the electrical energy storage device 5 from explosive attack by means of the protective plate 2. The electrical energy storage device 5 is thus protected or can be protected from explosive attack by means of the protective plate 2.

[0049] The length 13 can be understood in particular as the length 13 of the receiving space 6a and / or of the, in particular complete, electrical energy storage device 5. The width 15 can be understood in particular as the width 15 of the receiving space 6a and / or of the, in particular complete, electrical energy storage device 5.

[0050] In the exemplary embodiment, the protective plate 2 extends in the vehicle transverse direction 14 at least as far as the respective side sills 17, 18 of the special armored vehicle 4. The side sills 17, 18 are, for example, part of the, in particular self-supporting, body 9. The side sill 17 can be referred to in particular as the first side sill. The side sill 18 can be referred to in particular as the second side sill 18.

[0051] In the exemplary embodiment, it is provided that the protective plate is to be held exclusively on at least one of the side sills 17, 18 via the fastening region with respect to at least one of the side sills 17, 18 and the electrical energy storage device 5. In other words, it is provided that the protective plate 2 is held, in particular directly, on at least one of the side sills 17, 18 via the fastening region 10, decoupled from a storage housing fastening 19, via which the storage housing 6 of the electrical energy storage device 5 is held in the underbody region 3.In the exemplary embodiment, the protective plate 2 has at least a first fastening region 10a and a second fastening region 10b spaced apart from the first fastening region 10a in the vehicle transverse direction 14, wherein the protective plate 2 is held on the side sills 17, 18 via the fastening regions 10a, 10b, decoupled from the accumulator housing fastening 19. The protective plate 2 is held on the first side sill 17 via the first fastening region 10a, in particular decoupled from the accumulator housing fastening 19, and is held on the second side sill 18 via the second fastening region 10b, in particular decoupled from the accumulator housing fastening 19. The side sills 17, 18 are arranged on different sides of the special armored vehicle 4 with respect to the vehicle transverse direction 14.

[0052] For example, it is provided that the protective plate 2 is spaced apart from the electrical energy storage device 5, in particular from the storage housing 6, in the vehicle's vertical direction 7. This means that a distance 20 extending in the vehicle's vertical direction 7 is provided between the protective plate 2 and the electrical energy storage device 5.

[0053] Fig. 4 shows the arrangement 1 in a schematic partial sectional view, wherein in Fig. 4 the fastening region 10, in particular the first fastening region 10a, i.e. the fastening of the protective plate 2 to the side sill 17, is illustrated. In the exemplary embodiment, the protective plate 2 is held on the respective side sill 17, 18 via the respective fastening region 10a, 10b via at least one respective bushing 21 designed as a spacer bushing. This means that the protective plate 2 is held on the respective side sill 17, 18 via the at least one bushing 21. The protective plate 2 is screwed to the respective side sill 17, 18 via the respective bushing 21, for example, i.e. fastened to the respective side sill 17, 18 via at least one screw element 22.Preferably, the protective plate 2 can be or is supported via the respective bushing 21 upwards in the vehicle vertical direction 7, in particular directly, on the respective side sills 17, 18.

[0054] It is preferably provided that the width 15 of the electrical energy storage device 5 is at least 50 percent, for example at least 60, 70 or 80 percent, of a total width 23 of the special protection vehicle 4, in particular of the underbody area 3, extending in the vehicle transverse direction 14.

[0055] As illustrated in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, in the exemplary embodiment, it is provided that the protective plate 2 projects outwardly beyond the electrical energy storage device 5 in the vehicle transverse direction 14, in particular on both sides. Furthermore, it is provided, for example, that the protective plate 2 projects forwardly and rearwardly beyond the electrical energy storage device 5 in the vehicle longitudinal direction 12. In particular, a width of the protective plate 2 extending in the vehicle transverse direction 14 is greater or wider than the width 15 of the electrical energy storage device 5 and / or a length of the protective plate 2 extending in the vehicle longitudinal direction 12 is greater or longer than the length 13 of the electrical energy storage device 5.

[0056] Preferably, the protective plate 2 is formed in one piece. In particular, the at least one fastening region 10 and the protective region 11 are formed in one piece. In other words, the protective region and the at least one fastening region are formed in one piece with one another.

[0057] For example, the protective plate 2 has a constant wall thickness. This means that the wall thickness of the protective plate 2, particularly in the vehicle's longitudinal direction 12 and / or transverse direction 14, can be designed to be unchanging, i.e., constant.

[0058] Fig. 5 shows the arrangement 1 in a schematic or perspective partial sectional view according to a further embodiment, in which a plurality of transverse elements 25, designed in particular as cross members, are provided, which extend in the vehicle transverse direction 14 between the side sills 17, 18, wherein the side sills 17, 18 are supported on one another, for example via the transverse elements 25 in the vehicle transverse direction 14, in particular at least indirectly or directly. In the exemplary embodiment, the transverse elements 25 are spaced apart from one another. For example, the electrical energy storage device 5 has a plurality of modules, wherein at least one of the modules is arranged between the transverse elements 25. The modules are thus separated from one another, for example by the transverse elements 25 or by means of the transverse elements 25. The respective module can be understood in particular to mean a respective cell module.

[0059] For example, the respective module has a plurality of storage elements of the electrical energy storage device 5.

[0060] Fig. 6 shows the arrangement 1 in a schematic and perspective partial view according to another embodiment. As illustrated in Fig. 6, the protective plate 2 extends, for example, over an entire length of the underbody region 3 and / or over an entire width of the underbody region 3. The overall length can be understood, in particular, as a length of the underbody region 3 extending in the vehicle's longitudinal direction 12. The overall width can be understood, in particular, as a width of the underbody region 3 extending in the vehicle's transverse direction 14.
