[0001] The present disclosure relates to a gas recovery device.

[0002] Patent Document 1 discloses an apparatus for removing carbon dioxide from the air using an adsorbent capable of adsorbing carbon dioxide.

[0003] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2019-84469

[0004] Because the concentration of carbon dioxide in the air is low, there is a need to improve the efficiency of carbon dioxide capture using adsorbents. However, because adsorbents are easily damaged, there is also a need to prevent damage to the adsorbents.

[0005] In view of the above circumstances, an object of the present disclosure is to provide a gas recovery device that can improve the recovery efficiency of a target gas while preventing damage to the adsorbent.

[0009] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that the scope of the present disclosure is not limited to the following embodiments and can be modified as desired within the scope of the technical concept of the present disclosure.

[0010] Embodiment 1. Fig. 1 is a block diagram of a gas recovery device 1 according to embodiment 1. The gas recovery device 1 recovers carbon dioxide (target gas) from air (mixed gas containing the target gas). The gas recovery device 1 is installed, for example, on the roof of a building (for example, a building or an apartment building). However, the installation location of the gas recovery device 1 is not limited to this. The gas recovery device 1 may also be installed in an empty lot next to a building, in the courtyard of an apartment building, in the desert, etc. The gas recovery device 1 may also be installed indoors.

[0011] The gas recovery device 1 includes an adsorption member 10, a blower 20, a storage unit 30, a separation unit 70, and a storage unit 80. The adsorption member 10 is stored in the storage unit 30.

[0012] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 , the adsorption member 10 includes an adsorbent 11 and a protective material 12 .

[0013] The adsorbent 11 contains a material capable of adsorbing carbon dioxide. Examples of materials capable of adsorbing carbon dioxide include amine, zeolite, silica gel, diatomaceous earth, alumina, and activated carbon. A plurality of materials may be selected from the above, or a material other than the above may be used. The adsorbent 11 is made of a porous material. The adsorbent 11 has a cylindrical shape. The adsorbent 11 is a honeycomb material.

[0014] The protective material 12 has a cylindrical shape. The protective material 12 covers the outer peripheral surface of the adsorbent 11. The protective material 12 is configured as a cylinder with both ends open. In the following description, the direction along the central axis of the protective material 12 is referred to as the axial direction of the protective material 12. The protective material 12 has openings at both ends in the axial direction, making it breathable. Note that the protective material 12 may also have openings on the circumferential surface of the cylinder, making it breathable. In this case, the protective material 12 may be mesh-shaped. That is, to ensure breathability, the protective material 12 does not cover the entire surface of the adsorbent 11, and openings are formed in at least a portion of the protective material 12. For example, the material of the protective material 12 is a metal such as aluminum, stainless steel, or copper, or a resin such as polyvinyl chloride.

[0015] For example, the adsorption member 10 may be formed by coating the adsorbent 11 with the protective material 12 and then peeling off both ends of the coating to form openings. The adsorption member 10 may also be formed by wrapping a strip-shaped protective material 12 around the outer circumferential surface of the adsorbent 11. Alternatively, the adsorption member 10 may be formed by forming a cylindrical protective material 12 and inserting the adsorbent 11 inside the protective material 12. In this case, the cross-sectional shape of the adsorbent 11 may not be a perfect circle (e.g., an ellipse), resulting in a gap between the inner circumferential surface of the protective material 12 and the outer circumferential surface of the adsorbent 11. In this case, the gap between the inner circumferential surface of the protective material 12 and the outer circumferential surface of the adsorbent 11 may be filled with a soft material (not shown) to prevent air from flowing between the adsorbent 11 and the protective material 12. This prevents air from flowing through the gap between the inner circumferential surface of the protective material 12 and the outer circumferential surface of the adsorbent 11, thereby preventing a decrease in the carbon dioxide adsorption efficiency of the adsorbent 11. The soft material may be, for example, a sponge or sealing tape.

[0016] The blower 20 has a fan (not shown) that forms an air current. As shown in Fig. 4, the blower 20 has an air intake 21 through which air is taken in from the outside by driving the fan, and an air exhaust 22 through which the air is exhausted to the outside. The blower 20 is, for example, an outdoor unit or an indoor unit of an air conditioning system, or a ventilation fan.

[0017] The storage unit 30 is installed to face the blower unit 20. As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the storage unit 30 includes a storage unit 40, an adsorption unit 50, and a collection unit 60. The storage unit 30 accommodates a plurality of adsorption members 10. In the following description, the vertical direction is referred to as the Z direction. A direction perpendicular to the Z direction is referred to as the X direction, and a direction perpendicular to the X and Z directions is referred to as the Y direction. The storage unit 30 and the blower unit 20 face each other in the X direction.

[0018] The storage unit 40 is a box having a storage space S1 therein in which the adsorption members 10 are stored. The storage unit 40 is disposed above the adsorption unit 50. The storage unit 40 includes an inclined bottom plate 41 that forms the bottom of the box. An opening 41a is provided in the inclined bottom plate 41. The inclined bottom plate 41 is inclined so as to gradually descend toward the opening 41a. The opening 41a communicates with the storage space S1 and an adsorption space S2 of the adsorption unit 50, which will be described later. The storage unit 40 includes a valve 42 that opens and closes the opening 41a. When the valve 42 closes the opening 41a, the adsorption members 10 are stored in the storage unit 40. When the valve 42 opens the opening 41a, the adsorption members 10 fall toward the adsorption space S2 of the adsorption unit 50 due to their own weight.

[0019] The adsorption unit 50 is disposed between the storage unit 40 and the recovery unit 60. An adsorption space S2 is formed inside the adsorption unit 50. Air flows through the adsorption space S2 of the adsorption unit 50. The adsorption unit 50 is installed to face the air intake port 21 of the blower unit 20. The adsorption unit 50 may also be installed to face the air discharge port 22 of the blower unit 20. Air is introduced into the adsorption space S2 by utilizing the airflow formed by the blower unit 20. In the adsorption space S2, the adsorbent 11 of the adsorption member 10 comes into contact with the air and adsorbs carbon dioxide contained in the air.

[0020] The suction portion 50 includes a front wall 51, a rear wall 52 opposite the front wall 51, a side wall 53, and a side wall 54 opposite the side wall 53. The front wall 51 and the rear wall 52 face each other in the X direction. The side walls 53 and 54 face each other in the Y direction. The rear wall 52 faces the air intake 21 in the X direction. The side walls 53 and 54 are connected to the front wall 51 and the rear wall 52, respectively. The front wall 51, the rear wall 52, and the side walls 53 and 54 define an suction space S2.

[0021] 4, an inlet 51a is provided in the front wall 51. Air flows into the adsorption space S2 through the inlet 51a. In this embodiment, multiple inlets 51a are provided in the front wall 51, but it is sufficient that at least one inlet 51a is provided in the front wall 51.

[0022] An outlet 52a is provided in the rear wall 52. Air flows out of the suction space S2 through the outlet 52a. In this embodiment, multiple outlets 52a are provided in the rear wall 52, but it is sufficient that at least one outlet 52a is provided in the rear wall 52. The outlet 52a faces the inlet 51a in the X direction. Air flows through the interior of the suction space S2 in the X direction from the inlet 51a to the outlet 52a.

[0023] The gas recovery device 1 includes a plurality of inclined plates 55 (inclined portions). The gas recovery device 1 is required to include at least one inclined plate 55. The inclined plate 55 is disposed within the adsorption space S2. The inclined plate 55 is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane (XY plane). More specifically, the inclined plate 55 is disposed so that its longitudinal direction is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane. In the following description, the direction along the plate surface of the inclined plate 55 and perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is referred to as the width direction of the inclined plate 55. The inclined plate 55 is disposed so that its width direction is parallel to the X direction. The inclined plate 55 is not limited to the shape shown in the figure as long as it is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane.

[0024] A first end 55a in the longitudinal direction of the inclined plate 55 is fixed to the suction unit 50. A second end 55b in the longitudinal direction of the inclined plate 55 is spaced apart from the suction unit 50, and a gap is formed between the second end 55b and the suction unit 50. The first end 55a is located higher than the second end 55b. The distance between the first end 55a and the storage unit 40 is smaller than the distance between the second end 55b and the storage unit 40.

[0025] The inclined plate 55 includes a first inclined plate 551 and a second inclined plate 552. The first inclined plates 551 and the second inclined plates 552 are arranged alternately in the Z direction. The first end 55a of the first inclined plate 551 is fixed to the side wall 53, and the second end 55b is spaced from the side wall 54, forming a gap between the second end 55b and the side wall 54. The second inclined plate 552 has the first end 55a fixed to the side wall 54, and the second end 55b is spaced from the side wall 53, forming a gap between the second end 55b and the side wall 53.

[0026] The adsorption member 10 rolls or slides on the inclined plate 55 due to its own weight. As a result, the adsorption member 10 moves downward in the adsorption space S2 from the storage section 40 toward the recovery section 60. The adsorption member 10 is disposed on the inclined plate 55 so that the axial direction of the protective material 12 is substantially parallel to the width direction (X direction) of the inclined plate 55. That is, the axial direction of the protective material 12 is substantially parallel to the air flow direction in the adsorption space S2. Air is introduced into the adsorption space S2 through the inlet 51a. The adsorbent 11 of the adsorption member 10 comes into contact with the air in the adsorption space S2 and adsorbs carbon dioxide contained in the air. The air from which carbon dioxide has been removed by the adsorbent 11 flows out of the adsorption space S2 through the outlet 52a.

[0027] The recovery unit 60 recovers the adsorption member 10 (adsorbent 11) that has adsorbed carbon dioxide. The recovery unit 60 is disposed below the adsorption unit 50. The recovery unit 60 is a box having an internal recovery space S3 in which the adsorption member 10 (adsorbent 11) that has adsorbed carbon dioxide is housed. The recovery unit 60 includes an upper plate 61 that forms the top of the box. The upper plate 61 is provided with an opening 61a. The opening 61a communicates with the adsorption space S2 and the recovery space S3. The recovery unit 60 may be detachable from the adsorption unit 50.

[0028] The separation unit 70 is connected to the recovery unit 60. The adsorption member 10 is transported from the recovery unit 60 to the separation unit 70. The separation unit 70 applies heat, pressure, or the like to the adsorption member 10 (adsorbent 11) transported from the recovery unit 60 to separate carbon dioxide from the adsorbent 11. For example, the separation unit 70 is equipped with a heating device (not shown) that supplies hot air into the separation unit 70. By heating the adsorbent 11 to which carbon dioxide has been adsorbed by the adsorbent 11 with the hot air, the carbon dioxide adsorbed to the adsorbent 11 is separated from the adsorbent 11.

[0029] The storage unit 80 is in communication with the separation unit 70 via a pipe (not shown). The storage unit 80 has, for example, a cylinder capable of storing carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide separated from the adsorbent 11 by the separation unit 70 is exhausted from the separation unit 70 and stored in the storage unit 80 via the pipe.

[0030] The operation of the gas recovery device 1 and the gas recovery method of this embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 4 to 7. Note that in Figures 5 to 7, the more carbon dioxide is adsorbed in the adsorbent 11, the higher the black density of the adsorbent 11. The gas recovery method includes an adsorption process, a separation process, and a recovery process.

[0031] 5, before the adsorption step, the opening 41a is closed by the valve 42. The adsorption member 10 is stored in the storage section 40.

[0032] As shown in FIG. 6 , when the opening 41 a is opened by the valve 42, the adsorption member 10 falls toward the adsorption space S2 under its own weight and rolls or slides on the inclined plate 55. Air is introduced into the adsorption space S2 through the inlet 51 a. The adsorbent 11 of the adsorption member 10 comes into contact with the air in the adsorption space S2 and adsorbs carbon dioxide contained in the air (adsorption process). At this time, because the axial direction of the protective material 12 is approximately parallel to the air flow direction in the adsorption space S2, the air can efficiently come into contact with the adsorbent 11 through the openings at both ends of the protective material 12. The air from which carbon dioxide has been removed by the adsorption member 10 flows out of the adsorption space S2 through the outlet 52 a.

[0033] 7, the adsorption member 10 (adsorbent 11) that has adsorbed carbon dioxide passes through the opening 61a and is accommodated in the collection space S3 of the collection unit 60. The adsorption member 10 accommodated in the collection space S3 is transported to the separation unit 70. In the separation unit 70, the carbon dioxide is separated from the adsorbent 11 (separation process). The carbon dioxide separated from the adsorbent 11 is exhausted from the separation unit 70 and stored in the storage unit 80 (collection process).

[0034] As described above, the gas recovery device 1 according to this embodiment includes the protective material 12, the adsorption member 10 provided inside the protective material 12 and having the adsorbent 11 for adsorbing the target gas, and the adsorption unit 50 having an adsorption space S2 formed therein through which a mixed gas containing the target gas flows. The adsorption unit 50 is provided with an inclined plate 55 that is inclined relative to the horizontal direction. In the adsorption unit 50, the protective material 12 moves on the inclined plate 55.

[0035] In the adsorption unit 50, the adsorbent 11 of the adsorption member 10 comes into contact with a mixed gas containing a target gas and adsorbs the target gas contained in the mixed gas. The adsorbent 11 is provided inside the protective material 12, and the protective material 12 moves on the inclined plate 55, thereby transporting the adsorption member 10 (adsorbent 11) in the adsorption unit 50. Therefore, power for transporting the adsorption member 10 (adsorbent 11) in the adsorption unit 50 is not required, thereby reducing recovery costs. Furthermore, because the adsorption member 10 moves on the inclined plate 55, the time the adsorbent 11 is in contact with the mixed gas is increased compared to when the adsorption member 10 simply falls freely. Therefore, the target gas can be more efficiently adsorbed by the adsorbent 11. As a result, the recovery efficiency of the target gas is improved. Furthermore, because the adsorbent 11 is provided inside the protective material 12 and the protective material 12 moves on the inclined plate 55, the adsorbent 11 is prevented from contacting the inclined plate 55, thereby suppressing wear of the adsorbent 11. This can prevent the adsorbent 11 from being damaged due to contact with the inclined plate 55 or other structures. As a result, the recovery efficiency of the target gas can be improved while preventing damage to the adsorbent 11.

[0036] In addition, the protective material 12 is breathable, which allows the mixed gas containing the target gas to efficiently come into contact with the adsorbent 11 disposed inside the protective material 12, thereby improving the efficiency of adsorption of the target gas by the adsorbent 11.

[0037] The adsorbent 11 has a cylindrical shape. The protective material 12 has a cylindrical shape and covers the outer peripheral surface of the adsorbent 11. Because the protective material 12 has a cylindrical shape, the protective material 12 can roll and move on the inclined plate 55, and the adsorption member 10 (adsorbent 11) can be transported more efficiently in the adsorption section 50. Here, the adsorbent 11 is prone to manufacturing errors, and its cross-sectional shape may not be a perfect circle. By providing the cylindrical protective material 12, which is relatively less prone to manufacturing errors, on the outside of the adsorbent 11, the roundness of the adsorption member 10 is improved. As a result, the protective material 12 can roll and move more easily on the inclined plate 55.

[0038] The protective material 12 has a cylindrical shape with both ends open. The axial direction along the central axis of the protective material 12 is approximately parallel to the flow direction of the mixed gas in the adsorption unit 50. This allows the mixed gas to efficiently contact the adsorbent 11 provided inside the protective material 12 through the openings at both ends of the protective material 12, improving the efficiency of adsorption of the target gas by the adsorbent 11.

[0039] The opening 61 a, which connects the adsorption space S2 and the recovery space S3, may be provided with a second valve for opening and closing the opening 61 a. By closing the second valve until the adsorption reaction of the adsorbent 11 is completed and then opening the second valve after the reaction is completed, the adsorption efficiency of the target gas by the adsorbent 11 is further improved.

[0040] Second Embodiment Next, a gas recovery device 1 according to a second embodiment will be described. The gas recovery device 1 according to this embodiment has the same basic configuration as that of the first embodiment, and therefore the following description will focus on the differences.

[0041] In this embodiment, the gas recovery device 1 has an adsorption member 10A instead of the adsorption member 10. As shown in Figures 8 and 9, the adsorption member 10A includes an adsorbent 11, a protective material 12, an air-permeable member 13, a partition plate 14, and a fixed lid 15.

[0042] In this embodiment, a plurality of adsorbents 11 are provided inside the protective material 12. The adsorbents 11 have a spherical shape (beads) or a cylindrical shape (pellets). The shape of the adsorbents 11 is not limited to this, and they may be, for example, powder-like.

[0043] The protective material 12 has a cylindrical shape. The protective material 12 is configured as a cylinder with both ends open. An annular locking protrusion 12a is formed on the inner peripheral surface of one end of the protective material 12.

[0044] The breathable member 13 is a circular member with a plurality of openings formed therein. The breathable member 13 has breathability. The breathable member 13 is, for example, mesh-shaped. Note that the openings formed in the breathable member 13 are smaller than the adsorbent 11 in order to prevent the adsorbent 11 from falling off.

[0045] Two breathable members 13 are provided in the openings at both ends of the protective material 12, respectively. The breathable members 13 are provided so as to close the openings of the protective material 12. One of the breathable members 13 is engaged with a locking protrusion 12a of the protective material 12. The other breathable member 13 is fixed to the other end of the protective material 12 by a fixing lid 15. The plurality of adsorbents 11 are accommodated in an accommodation space K partitioned by the protective material 12 and the two breathable members 13. Because the breathable members 13 are breathable, air circulates inside the protective material 12.

[0046] The fixed lid 15 is annular. The fixed lid 15 is fitted to the other end of the protective material 12 with the breathable member 13 sandwiched therebetween. It is also possible to adhere the breathable member 13 to the other end of the protective material 12 without providing the fixed lid 15. It is also possible to form the breathable member 13 and the protective material 12 integrally without providing the fixed lid 15.

[0047] The partition plate 14 is disposed inside the protective material 12. That is, the partition plate 14 is disposed in the storage space K. The partition plate 14 is composed of a plurality of partition pieces 14a extending radially from the central axis of the protective material 12. The partition plate 14 (the plurality of partition pieces 14a) divides the storage space K into a plurality of small spaces sk. A plurality of adsorbents 11 are filled in each of the plurality of small spaces sk. Note that the shape of the partition plate 14 is not limited to this, and for example, the plurality of partition pieces 14a may be configured in a lattice shape, a spiral shape, or the like.

[0048] The protective material 12 and the partition plate 14 are heat-resistant and weather-resistant. The protective material 12 and the partition plate 14 are made of a material with higher thermal conductivity than air. For example, the protective material 12 is made of a metal such as aluminum, stainless steel, or copper, or a resin such as polyvinyl chloride. The partition plate 14 is made of a metal such as aluminum, stainless steel, or copper, or a resin such as polyvinyl chloride. The protective material 12 and the partition plate 14 may be made of the same or different materials.

[0049] As described above, in this embodiment, a plurality of adsorbents 11 are provided inside the protective material 12. As a result, the shape of the adsorbents 11 is not limited, and adsorbents of various shapes, such as spherical or cylindrical shapes, can be used as the adsorbents 11.

[0050] The protective material 12 has a cylindrical shape with both ends open. The adsorption member 10A further has two breathable members 13 provided at both ends of the protective material 12. The plurality of adsorbents 11 are accommodated in an accommodation space K partitioned by the protective material 12 and the two breathable members 13. This allows the plurality of adsorbents 11 to be provided inside the protective material 12 while ensuring breathability inside the protective material 12.

[0051] The adsorption member 10A further includes partition plates 14 that divide the storage space K into a plurality of small spaces sk. A plurality of adsorbents 11 are filled into each of the plurality of small spaces sk. By filling the plurality of small spaces sk divided by the partition plates 14 with a plurality of adsorbents 11, the movement of the adsorbents 11 within the protective material 12 can be restricted. This makes it possible to suppress wear caused by contact between the adsorbents 11. Furthermore, the density distribution of the adsorbents 11 within the protective material 12 becomes uniform. This allows the mixed gas to efficiently come into contact with the plurality of adsorbents 11, improving the adsorption efficiency of the target gas by the adsorbents 11.

[0052] The shape of the adsorbent 11 is spherical or cylindrical, which can reduce the manufacturing cost of the adsorbent 11 compared to when the adsorbent is made of a honeycomb material, for example.

[0053] Furthermore, the protective material 12 and the partition plate 14 are heat-resistant and weather-resistant. This prevents the protective material 12 and the partition plate 14 from being deteriorated by heat, and the gas recovery device 1 can be suitably used, for example, outdoors. Furthermore, for example, when the target gas is separated from the adsorbent 11 using heat, the adsorbent 11 can be efficiently heated through the protective material 12 and the partition plate 14, thereby facilitating separation of the target gas.

[0054] Furthermore, the protective material 12 and the partition plate 14 are made of a material with higher thermal conductivity than air. For example, when the target gas is separated from the adsorbent 11 using heat, the adsorbent 11 can be efficiently heated through the protective material 12 and the partition plate 14, thereby facilitating the separation of the target gas.

[0055] Third Embodiment Next, a gas recovery device 1 according to a third embodiment will be described. The gas recovery device 1 according to this embodiment has the same basic configuration as that of the first embodiment, and therefore the following description will focus on the differences.

[0056] In this embodiment, an inclined plate 55A is provided instead of the inclined plate 55. FIG. 10 is a cross-sectional view of the inclined plate 55A along the width direction. As shown in FIG. 10, the inclined plate 55A is formed with a groove 56 as a guide portion for guiding the attraction member 10. The groove 56 is recessed downward from the upper surface of the inclined plate 55A. The groove 56 is provided in the center of the inclined plate 55A in the width direction. The groove 56 is not formed at either end of the inclined plate 55A in the width direction. The groove 56 is formed over the entire longitudinal length of the inclined plate 55A. When the thickness of the protective material 12 is L1 and the depth of the groove 56 (i.e., the length of the groove 56 in the Z direction) is L2, L1 > L2.

[0057] The adsorption member 10 (protective material 12) is disposed inside the groove 56 and moves along the groove 56. At this time, the outer peripheral surface of the protective material 12 contacts the upper surface of the groove 56. Since L1>L2, the adsorbent 11 can be prevented from contacting the inclined plate 55A.

[0058] As described above, in this embodiment, the inclined plate 55A is provided with a guide portion that guides the adsorption member 10. This makes it possible to prevent the adsorption member 10 from falling off the inclined plate 55A, thereby improving the reliability of the gas recovery device 1.

[0059] Furthermore, the inclined plate 55A is formed with a groove 56 as a guide portion. When the thickness of the protective material 12 is L1 and the depth of the groove 56 is L2, L1 > L2. The protective material 12 moves along the groove 56. Because the protective material 12 moves on the inclined plate 55A along the groove 56, it is possible to prevent the adsorption member 10 from falling off the inclined plate 55A. Furthermore, because L1 > L2, when the protective material 12 moves, only the protective material 12 comes into contact with the inclined plate 55A, and the adsorbent 11 does not come into direct contact with the inclined plate 55A. Therefore, it is possible to prevent damage and deterioration of the adsorbent 11 due to contact with the inclined plate 55A.

[0060] Embodiment 4 Next, a gas recovery device 1 according to embodiment 4 will be described. The gas recovery device 1 according to this embodiment has the same basic configuration as embodiment 1, so the following description will focus on the differences.

[0061] In this embodiment, an adsorption member 10B is provided instead of the adsorption member 10. FIG. 11 is a perspective view of the adsorption member 10B. As shown in FIG. 11, in the adsorption member 10B, the protective material 12 is composed of two ring members 12b spaced apart from each other in the axial direction. As a result, a recess 17 recessed from the outer peripheral surface of the protective material 12 is formed in the adsorption member 10B. The recess 17 is formed over the entire circumferential direction of the adsorption member 10B (protective material 12). The adsorbent 11 is exposed between the two ring members 12b. Therefore, in this embodiment, the adsorbent 11 can be exposed to air through the gap between the two ring members 12b.

[0062] Furthermore, in this embodiment, an inclined plate 55B is provided instead of the inclined plate 55. FIG. 12 is a cross-sectional view of the inclined plate 55B along the width direction. As shown in FIG. 12, the inclined plate 55B is formed with a convex portion 57 as a guide portion for guiding the attraction member 10B. The convex portion 57 is provided so as to protrude upward from the upper surface of the inclined plate 55B. The convex portion 57 is provided in the center of the inclined plate 55B in the width direction. When the thickness of the protective material 12 is L1 and the height of the convex portion 57 (i.e., the length of the convex portion 57 in the Z direction) is L3, L1 > L3.

[0063] The recessed portion 17 of the adsorption member 10B can engage with the protruding portion 57. With the recessed portion 17 engaged with the protruding portion 57, the protective material 12 rolls or slides on the inclined plate 55B. At this time, the outer peripheral surface of the protective material 12 (ring member 12b) contacts the upper surface of the inclined plate 55B. Because L1 > L3, a gap is formed between the outer peripheral surface of the adsorbent 11 and the upper surface of the protruding portion 57, preventing the adsorbent 11 from coming into contact with the protruding portion 57 (inclined plate 55B).

[0064] As described above, in this embodiment, the inclined plate 55B is formed with a convex portion 57 as a guide portion. The adsorption member 10B is formed with a concave portion 17 that can engage with the convex portion 57. When the thickness of the protective material 12 is L1 and the height of the convex portion 57 is L3, L1 > L3. With the concave portion 17 engaged with the convex portion 57, the protective material 12 moves on the inclined plate 55B, preventing the adsorption member 10B from falling off the inclined plate 55B. Furthermore, because L1 > L3, when the protective material 12 moves, only the protective material 12 comes into contact with the inclined plate 55B, and the adsorbent 11 does not come into direct contact with the inclined plate 55B. Therefore, damage and deterioration of the adsorbent 11 due to contact with the inclined plate 55B can be prevented.

[0065] The technical scope of the present disclosure is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the present disclosure.

[0066] For example, in the first embodiment, the adsorbent 11 and the protective material 12 may have a spherical shape. In this case, a plurality of openings are formed in the protective material 12 to ensure breathability. The protective material 12 may also have a mesh shape.

[0067] In the second embodiment, the protective material 12 may have a spherical shape. In this case, a plurality of openings are formed in the protective material 12 to ensure breathability. The protective material 12 may also have a mesh shape. In this case, the breathable member 13 may be omitted.

[0068] In the second embodiment, the partition plate 14 may be formed of a sheet-shaped adsorbent material. In this case, the amount of carbon dioxide recovered by the adsorbent material 11 can be increased.

[0069] In the first to fourth embodiments, the blower 20 may be omitted. In this case, for example, the storage unit 30 may be placed outdoors, and air may be circulated through the suction unit 50 by the wind blowing outdoors.

[0070] Furthermore, in the first to fourth embodiments, examples have been described in which the target gas is carbon dioxide, but the present disclosure is not limited to this. The gas recovery device of the present disclosure is also applicable to cases in which the target gas is nitrogen oxides (NOx), methane, water, formaldehyde, or the like. Furthermore, the mixed gas containing the target gas is not limited to air.

[0071] In addition, the above-described embodiments and modifications may be combined as appropriate.

[0072] For example, the adsorption member 10A according to the second embodiment may be applied to the gas recovery device 1 according to the third or fourth embodiment. When the adsorption member 10A according to the second embodiment is applied to the gas recovery device 1 according to the fourth embodiment, the protective material 12 may not be divided into two ring members 12b, but may have a recess 17 formed in the protective material 12 that is recessed from the outer circumferential surface of the protective material 12. The protective material 12 may be composed of two ring members 12b, and the ring members 12b may be connected to each other by a cylindrical breathable member 13.
