Abstract
Description
Vehicle seats
[0001] This application claims priority from Japanese Patent Application No. 2023-137110, filed on August 25, 2023, the contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.
[0002] A vehicle seat described in Patent Document 1 below, for example, has been known. This vehicle seat includes a seat pad (hereinafter sometimes referred to as a molded body) that forms the outer shape of the seat and is provided with a wire unit. The wire unit includes, for example, a frame-shaped wire frame body that is provided along the outer periphery of the rear surface of the molded body, and left and right wire beams that are bridged across the front and rear of the wire frame body. The wire frame body and the left and right wire beams are formed into a large framework by bending, welding, or the like. The wire unit is provided at the rear ends of the left and right wire beams with wires bent into a roughly U-shape. The wires are provided at the rear of the wire frame body and protrude rearward.
[0003] Patent No. 6953254
[0004] However, in the conventional method, the wire is attached to the rear ends of the left and right wire beams and fixed to the wire frame. Therefore, in order to attach the wire to the molded body, it is necessary to attach the wire frame and the left and right wire beams to the molded body. This makes it difficult to attach the wire to the molded body.
[0005] The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and has as its object to provide a vehicle seat in which a wire can be easily attached to a molded body.
[0006] In order to solve the above problems, the present invention proposes the following means: (1) A vehicle seat according to a first aspect of the present invention is a vehicle seat including a molded body and a wire assembled to the molded body, wherein the molded body is provided with a first recess recessed in a first direction from a first surface of the molded body and a second recess recessed from the first recess in a second direction intersecting the first direction, and the wire is disposed in the second recess.
[0007] In this invention, when assembling a wire to a molded body, the wire is inserted in a first direction into a first recess that opens on the first surface. The wire is then moved from the first recess to the second recess in the second direction. By forming the second recess so that it is recessed from the first recess in the second direction, the wire can be easily attached to the molded body in the second direction from the first recess. Furthermore, by placing the wire in the second recess, the wire can be supported from both sides in the first direction by both walls of the second recess (i.e., the molded body), ensuring the rigidity of the wire. Furthermore, the both walls of the second recess can restrict deformation of the wire in the first direction and displacement of the wire in the first direction. This allows the molded body to restrict deformation and displacement of the wire.
[0008] (2) In a second aspect of the present invention, the molded body may include a first portion and a second portion sandwiching the second recess in the first direction, the first portion having a first through hole penetrating the first portion in the first direction, the second portion having a second through hole penetrating the second portion in the first direction, and the first through hole and the second through hole being alternately arranged in a third direction intersecting the first direction and the second direction.
[0009] In this invention, a first through hole is provided in the first portion, and the first through hole penetrates in the first direction. Further, a second through hole is provided in the second portion, and the second through hole penetrates in the first direction. In addition, the first through holes and the second through holes are alternately arranged in a third direction intersecting the first and second directions. Here, the molded body is molded, for example, by in-mold foam molding in a mold. The mold includes two dies, a first die and a second die. The first die is provided with a first molding part for molding the second recess through the first through hole. The second die is provided with a second molding part for molding the second recess through the second through hole. Thus, by in-mold foam molding the molded body between the first die and the second die of the mold, the second recess can be molded in the molded body by the first molding part of the first die and the second molding part of the second die.
[0010] (3) In the third aspect of the present invention, the first direction may be a vertical direction, and the second direction may be a horizontal direction.
[0011] In this invention, the first direction is the up-down direction and the second direction is the left-right direction. Therefore, the second recess can prevent the wire from deforming or shifting in the up-down direction. This makes it possible to easily fix the wire to, for example, a vertical wall inside a vehicle.
[0012] (4) In the fourth aspect of the present invention, the width of the first recess, which is the size in the second direction, may be greater than the height of the second recess, which is the size in the first direction.
[0013] In this invention, by making the width of the first recess wider than the height of the second recess, it is possible to easily insert a wire into the first recess. Furthermore, it is possible to easily guide the wire inserted into the first recess into the second recess. This makes it possible to easily place the wire in the second recess. Furthermore, by making the width of the first recess wider than the height of the second recess, it is possible to easily prevent the sidewall of the second recess from causing any rattle of the wire placed in the second recess.
[0014] (5) Aspect 5 of the present invention is such that the first recesses and the second recesses are provided in two sets spaced apart in the second direction and extend in a third direction intersecting the first and second directions, the wire is a U-shaped hook when viewed in a plan view from the first direction, the wire has two straight portions spaced apart in the second direction and extending in the third direction, and a curved portion connecting the two straight portions, the two straight portions being respectively arranged in two sets of the second recesses, and the curved portion protruding from the molded body in the third direction.
[0015] In this invention, by arranging the two straight portions of the U-shaped wire in the two sets of second recesses, the wire can be reliably supported by the molded body. Therefore, the rigidity of the wire can be ensured by the molded body, and the wire rattle can be easily controlled by the molded body. Furthermore, the curved portions protrude from the molded body. This allows the molded body to function as a hook for fixing the molded body to a vehicle, for example.
[0016] (6) In aspect 6 of the present invention, the molded body may have, of the two sets of first recesses and second recesses, the length in the third direction of one of the first recesses and second recesses and the length in the third direction of the other of the first recesses and second recesses may be different from each other.
[0017] In this invention, the length in the third direction of one of the two sets of first recesses and second recesses is different from the length in the third direction of the other of the first recesses and second recesses. This narrows the area sandwiched between the two sets of first recesses and second recesses and where the wall thickness is thin. This ensures a sufficient wall thickness between the two sets of first recesses and second recesses in the molded body, thereby ensuring the rigidity of the molded body. Therefore, by supporting the wire with the molded body, the rigidity of the wire can be ensured.
[0018] (7) In aspect 7 of the present invention, the molded body has insertion holes that communicate with the tip ends of each of the two sets of second recesses in the third direction and through which the wire is inserted, and the two insertion holes may have different orientations in the second direction.
[0019] In this invention, the two insertion holes are arranged in different directions in the second direction. A U-shaped wire is inserted into the two insertion holes. This makes it possible to prevent the wire from shifting in the left-right direction through the two insertion holes.
[0020] In the vehicle seat of the present invention, the wire can be easily attached to the molded body.

FIG. 11 is a rear view taken from the direction of an arrow V in FIG. 3. FIG. 12 is a plan view of a vehicle seat according to one embodiment of the present invention before the wire is assembled to the support member. FIG. 13 is a cross-sectional view taken along line VII-VII in FIG. 3. FIG. 14 is a cross-sectional view taken along line VIII-VIII in FIG. 3. FIG. 15 is a cross-sectional view taken along line IX-IX in FIG. 7. FIG. 16 is a cross-sectional view taken along line XX in FIG. 3. FIG. 17 is a cross-sectional view taken along line XI-XI in FIG. 3.
[0022] An embodiment of a vehicle seat according to the present invention will be described below with reference to Figures 1 to 11. The up-down direction, left-right direction, and front-rear direction of a vehicle will be described as the "up-down direction (first direction)," the "left-right direction (second direction)," and the "front-rear direction (third direction)." The front-rear direction is a direction that intersects the up-down direction and the left-right direction. In the drawings, the front of the vehicle is indicated by an arrow FR, the top of the vehicle by an arrow UP, and the left side of the vehicle by an arrow LH.
[0023] <Vehicle Seat> As shown in Fig. 1, the vehicle seat 1 is a bench seat placed in a vehicle. The vehicle seat 1 includes a seat cushion 2, a seat back 3, and a headrest 4. The seat cushion 2 is a seat that is long in the left-right direction, which is the width direction of the vehicle. The seat back 3 is connected to the rear of the seat cushion 2 so that it can be raised and lowered. The headrest 4 is provided at the top of the seat back 3.
[0024] The seat cushion 2 is divided into, for example, a first seat portion 2a, a second seat portion 2b, and a third seat portion 2c in the width direction of the vehicle. An occupant can be seated on each of the first seat portion 2a, the second seat portion 2b, and the third seat portion 2c. The seat cushion 2 includes a seat frame (not shown), a seat pad 6, and a seat cover 7. The seat frame (not shown) forms the skeleton of the seat and is attached to the floor of the vehicle. The seat pad 6 is supported by the seat frame. The seat pad 6 is formed in a substantially rectangular shape that conforms to the outer shape of the seat cushion 2. The seat pad 6 is covered with a seat cover 7. The seat cover 7 is made of fabric (woven fabric, knitted fabric, nonwoven fabric) or leather (natural leather, synthetic leather).
[0025] <Support Member> As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the seat pad 6 includes a seat pad main body (not shown), a support member (molded body) 10, and two wires 11 and 12. The seat pad main body (not shown) is molded, for example, from a foamed resin, and elastically supports an occupant seated on the seat cushion 2. The support member 10 is molded, for example, from a foamed resin. The support member 10 has a higher hardness than the seat pad main body, and is also lighter in weight due to its lower density. The two wires 11 and 12 are attached to the support member 10.
[0026] The two wires 11, 12 are assembled at a distance from each other in the left-right direction (i.e., the width direction of the vehicle) at the rear portion 10a of the support member 10. The two wires 11, 12 protrude rearward from the rear portion 10a of the support member 10. The two wires 11, 12 are bilaterally symmetrical members. Therefore, of the two wires 11, 12, the left wire 11 will be described in detail, and a description of the right wire 12 will be omitted. The left wire 11 may also be abbreviated as "wire 11."
[0027] 2 to 5 , the support member 10 has two sets of assembly portions 21, 22. In the following description, one of the two sets of assembly portions 21, 22 will be referred to as the first assembly portion 21 and the other as the second assembly portion 22. The first assembly portion 21 is provided on the right side in the left-right direction. The second assembly portion 22 is provided on the left side in the left-right direction. The wire 11 is assembled to the first assembly portion 21 and the second assembly portion 22.
[0028] <Wire> As shown in Figures 2, 5, and 6, the wire 11 forms a U-shaped hook in a plan view from above. The wire 11 is, for example, a rod-shaped member formed with a solid circular cross section. The wire 11 has a curved portion 14, a first straight portion (one of two straight portions) 15, a first insertion portion 16, a second straight portion (the other of the two straight portions) 17, and a second insertion portion 18. The curved portion 14 forms a U-shaped hook in a plan view from above and below. Hereinafter, the plan view from above and below may be abbreviated as "plan view." The first straight portion 15 and the second straight portion 17 are connected. The first straight portion 15 and the second straight portion 17 are spaced apart in the left-right direction and extend in the front-rear direction.
[0029] In a plan view, the first linear portion 15 extends linearly forward from the first front end 14a of the curved portion 14. The first insertion portion 16 is bent downward from the front end 15a of the first linear portion 15 to protrude downward (see also FIG. 10 ). The second linear portion 17 is offset leftward from the second front end 14b of the curved portion 14 in a plan view and extends linearly forward from the offset position. Therefore, the left-right distance S1 between the first linear portion 15 and the second linear portion 17 is wider than the left-right distance S2 between the first front end 14a and the second front end 14b. The second insertion portion 18 is bent downward from the front end 17a of the second linear portion 17 to protrude downward (see also FIG. 11 ).
[0030] The first straight portion 15 and the first insertion portion 16 are assembled to a first assembly portion 21 of the support member 10. The second straight portion 17 and the second insertion portion 18 are assembled to a second assembly portion 22 of the support member 10. Thus, the wire 11 is assembled to the first assembly portion 21 and the second assembly portion 22 of the support member 10, and the curved portion 14 of the wire 11 extends rearward from the rear portion 10a of the support member 10. The curved portion 14 is fixed (hooked) to, for example, a vertical wall inside the vehicle. Note that there are no particular restrictions on the material and dimensions of the wire 11, as long as the wire has sufficient rigidity and durability against deformation loads to fix the support member 10 to the floor surface or the like inside the vehicle. For example, a rod-shaped member having a diameter of 2 to 8 mm and made of a metal such as iron or an iron alloy can be used as the wire 11.
[0031] <First Assembly Portion> As shown in Figures 7 to 9, the first assembly portion 21 extends in the front-rear direction. The first assembly portion 21 includes a first recess 24, a second recess 25 (see also Figure 10), a first portion 26 (see also Figures 3 and 10), a second portion 27 (see also Figures 3 and 10), and an insertion hole 28 (see also Figures 4 and 10). The first recess 24 has an opening 24a in the surface (first face) 10b of the support member 10, and is recessed downward in the up-down direction from the surface 10b. The second recess 25 is recessed leftward from the first recess 24 in the left-right direction intersecting the up-down direction. That is, in a cross section A of the support member (molded body) 10 perpendicular to the front-rear direction (third direction), the first recess 24 and the second recess 25 form a substantially L-shaped groove. The intersection angle between the first recess 24 and the second recess 25 at the cross section A is approximately 90° in the example shown in FIG. 7, but is not limited to this, and is preferably 50° to 130°, and more preferably 80° to 100°.
[0032] The width W1 of the first recess 24 in the left-right direction (second direction) (hereinafter also referred to as the left-right width W1 of the first recess 24) is wider than the height H1 of the second recess 25 in the up-down direction (first direction) (hereinafter also referred to as the up-down height H1 of the second recess 25). The left-right width W1 of the first recess 24 is the width between the left wall and the right wall of the first recess 24 in the left-right direction. Hereinafter, the left-right width W1 of the first recess 24 may be referred to as the "width W1 of the first recess 24." The up-down height H1 of the second recess 25 is the height between the upper wall and the lower wall of the second recess 25 in the up-down direction. Hereinafter, the up-down height H1 of the second recess 25 may be referred to as the "height H1 of the second recess 25." The width W1 of the first recess 24 is wider than the height H1 of the second recess 25. More specifically, the ratio W1 / H1 of the width W1 of the first recess 24 to the height H1 of the second recess 25 is preferably 5 / 1 to 1.1 / 1, and more preferably 3 / 1 to 2 / 1. When the ratio W1 / H1 is within the above range, the wire 11 can be easily installed and can be stably held.
[0033] The first recess 24 and the second recess 25 are formed as a continuous space with a generally L-shaped cross section. The first straight portion 15 of the wire 11 is disposed in the second recess 25. That is, the first straight portion 15 is inserted downward from the opening 24a of the first recess 24 to the bottom of the first recess 24, and then moves leftward from the bottom of the first recess 24 to the bottom of the second recess 25, and is disposed in the second recess 25. Thus, the first straight portion 15 is attached to the second recess 25.
[0034] As shown in Figures 7, 8, and 10, the first portion 26 is provided above the second recess 25 and forms the upper wall of the second recess 25. A first through hole 31 is provided in the first portion 26. In the embodiment, two first through holes 31 are described as an example of the first through holes 31, but the number of first through holes 31 can be selected as desired. The first through hole 31 penetrates the first portion 26 in the vertical direction. The second portion 27 is provided below the second recess 25 and forms the lower wall of the second recess 25. A second through hole 32 is provided in the second portion 27. In the embodiment, one second through hole 32 is described as an example, but the number of second through holes 32 can be selected as desired. The second through hole 32 penetrates the second portion 27 in the vertical direction.
[0035] In this way, the first portion 26 forms the upper wall of the second recess 25, and the second portion 27 forms the lower wall of the second recess 25. Therefore, the first portion 26 and the second portion 27 are formed to sandwich the second recess 25 in the up-down direction. Furthermore, the first through holes 31 and the second through holes 32 are arranged alternately in the front-to-rear direction. Specifically, the first through hole 31 opens above the second portion 27. The second through hole 32 opens below the first portion 26.
[0036] As shown in Figures 4, 9, and 10, an insertion hole 28 is provided at the tip end (front end) 24b of the bottom of the first recess 24. The insertion hole 28 extends downward from the tip end 24b of the bottom of the first recess 24 to the back surface 10c of the support member 10. When the first straight portion 15 of the wire 11 is inserted into the first recess 24, the first insertion portion 16 of the wire 11 is inserted into the insertion hole 28 from above. The insertion hole 28 is formed so as to be inclined in the left-right direction. Specifically, the insertion hole 28 is formed so as to be inclined so as to gradually move rearward from the right end to the left end.
[0037] The insertion hole 28 is also connected to the front end 25 a of the second recess 25 in the front-to-rear direction. Therefore, when the first straight portion 15 of the wire 11 moves leftward from the first recess 24 to the second recess 25, the first insertion portion 16 of the wire 11 moves leftward along the insertion hole 28. As a result, with the first straight portion 15 of the wire 11 positioned in the second recess 25, the first insertion portion 16 of the wire 11 is inserted into the insertion hole 28 from above. The lower end 16 a of the first insertion portion 16 passes through the insertion hole 28 and protrudes downward from the back surface 10 c of the support member 10.
[0038] <Second Assembly Portion> As shown in FIG. 6 , in the support member 10, the second assembly portion 22 is spaced apart to the left of the first assembly portion 21. The second assembly portion 22 extends in the front-rear direction along the first assembly portion 21. The left-right distance S1 between the first straight portion 15 and the second straight portion 17 of the wire 11 is larger than the left-right distance S2 between the first front end 14a and the second front end 14b. More specifically, the ratio S1 / S2 of the distance S1 to the distance S2 is preferably 1 / 1 to 15 / 1, and more preferably 3 / 1 to 5 / 1. This allows for a larger distance between the first assembly portion 21 and the second assembly portion 22. As a result, the thickness between the first assembly portion 21 and the second assembly portion 22 in the support member 10 can be increased. This ensures the rigidity of the support member 10.
[0039] 7 to 9, the tip 22a of the second assembly part 22 is located rearward relative to the tip 21a of the first assembly part 21. That is, the position of the tip 22a of the second assembly part 22 is different in the front-to-rear direction from the position of the tip 21a of the first assembly part 21. The second assembly part 22 is substantially similar in configuration to the first assembly part 21, except for the position of the tip 22a.
[0040] Specifically, the second assembly portion 22 includes a first recess 44, a second recess 45 (see also FIG. 11 ), a first portion 46 (see also FIGS. 3 and 11 ), a second portion 47 (see also FIGS. 3 and 11 ), and an insertion hole 48 (see also FIGS. 4 and 11 ). The first recess 44 has an opening 44a in the surface 10b of the support member 10 and is recessed downward in the up-down direction from the surface 10b. The second recess 45 is recessed leftward from the first recess 44 in the left-right direction intersecting the up-down direction. That is, in a cross section A perpendicular to the front-rear direction (third direction) of the support member (molded body) 10, the first recess 44 and the second recess 45 form a substantially L-shaped groove. The intersection angle between the first recess 44 and the second recess 45 at the cross section A is approximately 90° in the example shown in FIG. 7, but is not limited to this, and is preferably 50° to 130°, and more preferably 80° to 100°.
[0041] The width W2 of the first recess 44 in the left-right direction is wider than the height H2 of the second recess 45 in the up-down direction. The width W2 of the first recess 44 in the left-right direction is the width between the left wall and the right wall of the first recess 44 in the left-right direction. Hereinafter, the width W2 of the first recess 44 in the left-right direction may be referred to as the "width W2 of the first recess 44." The height H2 of the second recess 45 in the up-down direction is the height between the upper wall and the lower wall of the second recess 45 in the up-down direction. Hereinafter, the height H2 of the second recess 45 in the up-down direction may be referred to as the "height H2 of the second recess 45." The width W2 of the first recess 44 is wider than the height H2 of the second recess 45. More specifically, the ratio W2 / H2 of the width W2 of the first recess 44 to the height H2 of the second recess 45 is preferably 5 / 1 to 1.1 / 1, and more preferably 3 / 1 to 2 / 1. When the ratio W2 / H2 is within the above range, the wire 11 can be easily installed and can be stably held.
[0042] Here, the length L1 in the front-rear direction of the first recess 24 and the second recess 25 of the first assembly portion 21 and the length L2 in the front-rear direction of the first recess 44 and the second recess 45 of the second assembly portion 22 are set to be different from each other. Hereinafter, the length L1 in the front-rear direction of the first recess 24 and the second recess 25 of the first assembly portion 21 may be referred to as the "length L1 of the first assembly portion 21," and the length L2 in the front-rear direction of the first recess 44 and the second recess 45 of the second assembly portion 22 may be referred to as the "length L2 of the second assembly portion 22." In the embodiment, an example will be described in which the length L1 of the first assembly portion 21 is set to be longer than the length L2 of the second assembly portion 22. Note that in other embodiments, the length L2 of the second assembly portion 22 may be longer than the length L1 of the first assembly portion 21. When the length L1 of the first assembly portion 21 and the length L2 of the second assembly portion 22 are different, it is preferable that one of the lengths L1 and L2 is 1.1 to 8 times, and more preferably 1.2 to 2 times, the other. This configuration narrows the area sandwiched between the first assembly portion 21 and the second assembly portion 22 and where the thickness is thin in the front-to-rear direction. This ensures a sufficient thickness between the first assembly portion 21 and the second assembly portion 22 in the support member 10, thereby ensuring the rigidity of the support member 10. Therefore, by supporting the wire 11 with the support member 10, the rigidity of the wire 11 can be ensured.
[0043] The first recess 44 and the second recess 45 are formed as a continuous space with a generally L-shaped cross section. The second straight portion 17 of the wire 11 is disposed in the second recess 45. That is, the second straight portion 17 is inserted downward from the opening 44a of the first recess 44 to the bottom of the first recess 44, then moves leftward from the bottom of the first recess 44 to the bottom of the second recess 45, and disposed in the second recess 45. Thus, the second straight portion 17 is attached to the second recess 45. Thus, the first straight portion 15 of the wire 11 is attached to the second recess 45, and the second straight portion 17 of the wire 11 is attached to the second recess 45. In this state, the curved portion 14 of the wire 11 protrudes rearward in the front-to-rear direction from the rear portion 10a of the support member 10 (see also FIG. 2 ).
[0044] As shown in Figures 7, 8, and 11, the first portion 46 is provided above the second recess 45 and forms the upper wall of the second recess 45. The first portion 46 is provided with a first through hole 51. In the embodiment, two first through holes 51 are described as an example of the first through holes 51, but the number of first through holes 51 can be selected as desired. The first through hole 51 penetrates the first portion 46 in the vertical direction. The second portion 47 is provided below the second recess 45 and forms the lower wall of the second recess 45. The second portion 47 is provided with a second through hole 52. In the embodiment, one second through hole 52 is described as an example, but the number of second through holes 52 can be selected as desired. The second through hole 52 penetrates the second portion 47 in the vertical direction.
[0045] In this way, the first portion 46 forms the upper wall of the second recess 45, and the second portion 47 forms the lower wall of the second recess 45. Therefore, the first portion 46 and the second portion 47 are formed to sandwich the second recess 45 in the up-down direction. Furthermore, the first through holes 51 and the second through holes 52 are alternately arranged in the front-to-rear direction. Specifically, the first through hole 51 opens above the second portion 47. The second through hole 52 opens below the first portion 46.
[0046] The reason for alternately arranging the first through holes 51 and the second through holes 52 in the front-rear direction is the same as the reason for alternately arranging the first through holes 31 and the second through holes 32 in the first assembly part 21 in the front-rear direction. The reason for alternately arranging the first through holes 31 and the second through holes 32 in the first assembly part 21 in the front-rear direction will be explained in detail later.
[0047] 4, 9, and 11, an insertion hole 48 is provided in the tip (front end) 44b of the bottom of the first recess 44. The insertion hole 48 extends downward from the tip 44b of the bottom to the back surface 10c of the support member 10. When the second straight portion 17 of the wire 11 is inserted into the first recess 44, the second insertion portion 18 of the wire 11 is inserted into the insertion hole 48 from above. The insertion hole 48 is formed in a linear arrangement along the left-right direction.
[0048] The insertion hole 48 is also connected to the front end 45 a of the second recess 45 in the front-to-rear direction. Therefore, when the second straight portion 17 of the wire 11 moves leftward from the first recess 44 to the second recess 45, the second insertion portion 18 of the wire 11 moves leftward along the insertion hole 48. As a result, with the second straight portion 17 positioned in the second recess 45, the second insertion portion 18 is inserted into the insertion hole 48 from above. The lower end 18 a of the second insertion portion 18 passes through the insertion hole 48 and protrudes downward from the back surface 10 c of the support member 10.
[0049] Here, the insertion holes 28 of the first assembly part 21 are formed to be inclined with respect to the left-right direction, and the insertion holes 48 of the second assembly part 22 are formed to be linearly arranged along the left-right direction. Therefore, the insertion holes 28 of the first assembly part 21 and the insertion holes 48 of the second assembly part 22 are arranged in different directions in the left-right direction.
[0050] A description will now be given of the operation and effect of the vehicle seat 1 of the above-described embodiment. Note that the first assembly portion 21 and the second assembly portion 22 have substantially the same configuration, and therefore, the operation and effect of the first assembly portion 21 will be described in detail below, and a detailed description of the operation and effect of the second assembly portion 22 will be omitted.
[0051] 7 and 10 , when assembling the wire 11 to the support member 10, the first straight portion 15 of the wire 11 is inserted downward into the first recess 24 that opens in the surface 10b of the support member 10. The first straight portion 15 is then moved leftward from the first recess 24 to the second recess 25. The second recess 25 is formed so as to be recessed leftward from the first recess 24. This allows the first straight portion 15 (i.e., the wire 11) to be easily positioned from the first recess 24 to the second recess 25 and attached to the support member 10.
[0052] Furthermore, by attaching the first straight portion 15 to the second recess 25, the wire 11 can be supported from both the top and bottom by the upper and lower walls of the second recess 25 (i.e., the support member 10), ensuring the rigidity of the wire 11. Furthermore, the top and bottom walls of the second recess 25 can prevent the wire 11 from deforming or shifting in position in the up and down direction. This allows the support member 10 to restrict deformation and shifting of the wire 11 without having to secure the rigidity of the wire 11 by fixing it to a large wire frame, as in the prior art, for example.
[0053] 7, 8, and 10, first through holes 31 are provided in the first portion 26, and the first through holes 31 extend vertically. Furthermore, second through holes 32 are provided in the second portion 27, and the second through holes 32 extend vertically. In addition, the first through holes 31 and the second through holes 32 are alternately arranged in the front-rear direction.
[0054] The reason why the first through holes 31 and the second through holes 32 are alternately arranged in the front-rear direction will be described in detail below. Specifically, the support member 10 is molded, for example, by in-mold foam molding in a mold (not shown). The mold includes two dies, a first die and a second die. The first die has a first molding portion for molding the portion 25b (two locations) of the second recess 25 through the first through hole 31. The second die has a second molding portion for molding the portion 25c (one location) of the second recess 25 through the second through hole 32. The portion 25b and the portion 25c of the second recess 25 form the entire second recess 25. In this way, by in-mold foam molding the support member 10 between the first and second dies of the mold, the second recess 25 can be molded in the support member 10 by the first molding portion of the first die and the second molding portion of the second die.
[0055] 2 and 10, in this embodiment, the first direction is the up-down direction and the second direction is the left-right direction. Therefore, the second recess 25 can restrict deformation of the wire 11 in the up-down direction and displacement of the wire 11 in the up-down direction. This allows the wire 11 to be easily fixed (hooked) to, for example, a vertical wall inside a vehicle.
[0056] 7 , by making the width W1 of the first recess 24 wider than the height H1 of the second recess 25, the first straight portion 15 can be easily inserted into the first recess 24. Furthermore, the first straight portion 15 inserted into the first recess 24 can be easily guided into the second recess 25. This makes it possible to easily position the first straight portion 15 in the second recess 25. Furthermore, by making the width W1 of the first recess 24 wider than the height H1 of the second recess 25, it is possible to easily restrict rattle of the first straight portion 15 (i.e., the wire 11) positioned in the second recess 25 by the upper and lower walls of the second recess 25.
[0057] As shown in FIGS. 3 , 6 , and 7 , the support member 10 is provided with two sets of first and second recesses 24 and 25 in the first assembly portion 21 and first and second recesses 44 and 45 in the second assembly portion 22. The wire 11 is formed in a U-shape. The first straight portion 15 of the U-shaped wire 11 is disposed in the second recess 25 in the first assembly portion 21, and the second straight portion 17 of the U-shaped wire 11 is disposed in the second recess 45 in the second assembly portion 22. This allows the wire 11 to be reliably supported by the support member 10. This ensures the rigidity of the wire 11, making it easier for the support member 10 to restrict rattle of the wire 11. The curved portion 14 of the U-shaped wire 11 protrudes rearward from the rear portion 10a of the support member 10. Therefore, for example, when the wire 11 is attached to the inside of a vehicle, the wire 11 can function as a hook for fixing the support member 10 to the vehicle.
[0058] 9, the length L1 of the first assembly portion 21 and the length L2 of the second assembly portion 22 are made different from each other. This makes it possible to narrow the area of the support member 10 sandwiched between the first assembly portion 21 and the second assembly portion 22 and where the wall thickness is thin in the front-to-rear direction. This ensures a sufficient wall thickness between the first assembly portion 21 and the second assembly portion 22 in the support member 10, thereby ensuring the rigidity of the support member 10. Therefore, by supporting the wire 11 with the support member 10, the rigidity of the wire 11 can be ensured.
[0059] 4 and 9 , the arrangement directions of the insertion holes 28 of the first assembly part 21 and the insertion holes 48 of the second assembly part 22 are made different in the left-right direction. The first insertion portion 16 of the wire 11 is inserted into the insertion hole 28 of the first assembly part 21. The second insertion portion 18 of the wire 11 is inserted into the insertion hole 48 of the second assembly part 22. This makes it possible to prevent the wire 11 from shifting in the left-right direction in the insertion holes 28 of the first assembly part 21 and the insertion holes 48 of the second assembly part 22.
[0060] Although an embodiment of the present invention has been described in detail above with reference to the drawings, the specific configuration is not limited to this embodiment, and modifications, combinations, deletions, etc. of the configuration may also be made within the scope that does not deviate from the gist of the present invention.
[0061] For example, in the above embodiment, an example has been described in which the support member 10 is provided with two sets of assembly parts, the first assembly part 21 and the second assembly part 22, but this is not limiting. As another example, one of the first assembly part 21 and the second assembly part 22 may be provided on the support member 10.
[0062] In the above embodiment, the first direction is the up-down direction and the second direction is the left-right direction, but the first direction and the second direction are not limited to the up-down direction and the left-right direction. For example, the first direction and the second direction may be selected arbitrarily depending on the application of the support member 10.
[0063] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the wires 11 and 12 are formed into U-shaped hooks, but this is not limiting. As another example, the shape of the wires 11 and 12 may be selected arbitrarily depending on the application.
[0064] In addition, in the above embodiment, the two wires 11 and 12 protrude rearward from the rear portion 10a of the support member 10, but this is not limiting. As another example, the wires 11 and 12 may be provided at the front portion of the support member 10.
[0065] In addition, the components in this embodiment can be replaced with well-known components as appropriate, without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
