Abstract
Description
[0001] Machine and method for laying an overhead line of a track
[0002] The invention relates to a machine for laying a contact wire and / or a supporting cable of an overhead line of a track, comprising a machine frame movable on rail carriages, a storage drum holder, a height-adjustable assembly roller unit, and a friction winch. The invention also relates to a method for operating the machine.
[0003] For example, a generic machine is known from AT 14422 Ul. The machine comprises a machine frame which can be moved on a track and on which a storage drum is arranged. During a work process, a contact wire or a suspension cable is unwound from the storage drum as the machine advances and positioned at a predetermined height by means of a height-adjustable assembly roller. Between the assembly roller and the storage drum there is a friction winch which applies a tensile force to the contact wire or the suspension cable. The friction winch comprises two groups of winch wheels with parallel spaced-apart rotary axes, only one group of winch wheels being connected to a rotary drive. The contact wire or the suspension cable runs around the two groups several times so that several half-windings are applied to the winch wheels of the driven group.Overall, the contact wire or suspension cable is wrapped around the driven winch wheels with more than one turn. This prevents overstretching between adjacent half turns.
[0004] EP 0 861 752 A1 discloses a friction winch for tensioning a contact wire or a suspension cable with two driven groups of winch wheels. The drives must be precisely coordinated to prevent overstretching of the sections of the contact wire or suspension cable running between the winch wheel groups. With such a device, the contact wire or suspension cable can be tensioned with a tensile force of up to 30 kN.
[0005] The invention is based on the object of providing a machine of the type mentioned above with a smaller space requirement for the devices for tensioning the contact wire and / or a suspension cable, in particular for achieving high tensile forces and without the risk of overstretching the contact wire or suspension cable. Furthermore, an improved method for operating such a machine is to be presented.
[0006] According to the invention, these objects are achieved by the features of independent claims 1 and 14. Dependent claims specify advantageous embodiments of the invention.
[0007] A space saving compared to the prior art is achieved by a friction winch which comprises a driving body around which an endless shoe chain with shoe links for receiving the contact wire and / or the suspension cable wraps in such a way that a winding section of the shoe chain which bears against the driving body with at least one winding is spanned by a winding section which is not in contact with it. Such a shoe chain has been known per se for a long time, for example from DE 491646 C, but never in connection with a machine for laying an overhead line on a track. According to the invention, the shoe chain bears against the driving body with at least one helical winding so that a sufficiently high angle of wrap of the contact wire or the suspension cable is achieved. A winding section which is not in contact with the driving body spans the adjacent windings from one side of the driving body to the other side of the driving body.Taking into account the coefficient of friction of the contact wire or the suspension cable on the shoe chain, a tensile force of well over 30 kN can be applied to the contact wire or the suspension cable with a sufficiently large wrap angle. The wrap angle results from the section of the contact wire or the suspension cable that rests on the shoe chain. The achievable maximum wrap angle depends on the number of turns of the shoe chain on the driving body, because the contact wire or the suspension cable only rests on the shoe chain links that are in contact with the driving body. With more than two and a half turns of the shoe chain on the driving body, the wrap angle of the contact wire or the suspension cable is, for example, in a range between 4 - 71 and 5 - 71.
[0008] The present invention represents a paradigm shift because, until now, multiple looping of a contact wire or a suspension cable around a friction winch has always been carried out using two groups of winch wheels. For high tensile forces, two winch wheels were driven in one group and one winch wheel in the second group. The shoe chain, which has been known for almost 100 years, was always regarded as nothing more than an improvement on a conventional friction drum with a trough-shaped profile of the drum circumference. The use of such a friction drum for laying a contact wire or a suspension cable was never considered because the risk of damaging the contact wire or the suspension cable was too high. During one rotation of the driving body, the winding section of the shoe chain which is in contact with the driving body moves in the transverse direction, i.e. parallel to a rotation axis of the driving body.Along with this adjacent winding section, the section of the contact wire or the suspension cable resting on the shoe chain also shifts transversely. In state-of-the-art friction winches for tensioning a contact wire or suspension cable, such transverse displacement must be avoided at all costs to prevent damage to the contact wire or suspension cable.
[0009] In the present invention, the transverse displacement and the tangential force transmission between the friction winch and the contact wire or suspension cable are decoupled. The shoe chain glides with negligible friction in the transverse direction on the driving body, whereas the friction between the contact wire or suspension cable and the shoe chain remains constant for the transmission of the tangential force because the contact wire or suspension cable rests on the shoe chain without displacement. The contact wire or suspension cable wraps around the friction winch with more than one turn, whereby a high tensile force can be applied to the contact wire or suspension cable. Even with low friction values between the shoe chain and the contact wire or suspension cable, there is no risk of the contact wire or suspension cable slipping. Furthermore, overstretching of the contact wire or suspension cable is ruled out because the tensile force is applied evenly in the resting section of the contact wire or suspension cable.
[0010] Advantageously, each element adjacent to the propellant
[0011] The shoe link engages the driving element in a form-fitting manner while maintaining transverse displacement. This ensures smooth tangential force transmission between the driving element and the shoe chain. Slipping of the shoe chain around the circumference of the driving element is thus impossible.
[0012] In a further development of this improvement, the driving body has guide rails on a circumferential surface running parallel to a driving body rotation axis, with each shoe link having a groove for positive transverse displacement along the guide rails. This toothed connection between the driving body and the shoe chain ensures the transmission of large forces in the tangential direction while allowing good transverse displacement of the shoe chain.
[0013] Preferably, a sliding body is arranged on each shoe link on an inner side facing the drive body. This achieves particularly good transverse displacement with negligible wear. During the service life of the machine, the shoe chain remains largely maintenance-free. If necessary, it is sufficient to replace the sliding body detachably connected to a base body of the shoe link.
[0014] In a further improvement, the shoe chain is formed from the shoe links and intermediate links connecting the shoe links. The shoe links serve to hold the contact wire or the suspension cable, and the intermediate links are optimized for their connecting function. This results in a particularly robust construction of the shoe chain with similarly designed connecting joints between the shoe links and the intermediate links. An improvement of the invention relates to the guidance of the shoe chain, wherein the non-contacting winding section is guided at least partially by means of a guide device fastened to a friction winch holder. In particular, this guide device is arranged in the upper half of the friction winch so that the lower region of the friction winch remains free for winding and unwinding the contact wire or the suspension cable.By guiding the shoe chain in the non-adjacent winding section, tilting of the shoe chain joints and undesirable noise development due to uncontrolled movement of the shoe chain are avoided.
[0015] In a further improvement, lateral guide elements are arranged along the adjacent winding section of the shoe chain. These guide elements are preferably adjustably arranged on the friction winch holder so that the lateral guidance of the shoe chain on the drive body can be adjusted. During one rotation of the drive body, a defined lateral displacement of the shoe chain takes place by means of the guide elements, thereby ensuring smooth and trouble-free operation of the friction winch.
[0016] Advantageously, a measuring device is provided for detecting a measured variable correlated with the tensile force of the contact wire or the suspension cable, the measured variable being fed to a control device for controlling the friction winch. For example, a load-measuring pin is provided on a deflection pulley between the friction winch and the assembly pulley unit. The continuous detection of the tensile force enables controlled control of the friction winch, thus ensuring particularly gentle and high-quality installation of the contact wire or suspension cable.
[0017] In an improved version of this design, the control system is coupled to the machine's travel control system. This allows the machine's travel speed to be adjusted to the control of the tensile force of the contact wire or the suspension cable.
[0018] A further improvement relates to the rotational movement of the friction winch. A rotary angle sensor coupled to the control device is arranged to detect the rotation of the driving body. This enables precise angle-related control of a rotary drive of the driving body. This enables rapid control of the tensile force of the contact wire or the suspension cable.
[0019] To increase performance, the machine advantageously includes an additional storage drum receptacle, with a double friction winch having two drive bodies and associated shoe chains arranged in a common friction winch mount. Preferably, the two drive bodies are mounted in the friction winch mount with a common axis of rotation, with a rotary drive for one of the two drive bodies being arranged on each side of the mount. This double friction winch can be used for laying two contact wires in parallel, with the double friction winch preferably being arranged with the associated storage drum receptacles on a common rotating frame.
[0020] In particular, each drive unit is assigned a separately controlled rotary drive. This allows the traction force for both contact wires to be controlled separately, whereby the laid
[0021] Overhead line is of particularly good quality.
[0022] Such a machine preferably comprises, in addition to the double friction winch, a single friction winch for laying the suspension cable. Thus, the machine has three friction winches for simultaneously laying two contact wires and one suspension cable. The arrangement of the shoe chains means that high tensile forces of over 30 kN can be achieved while requiring little space. Such a machine can also be used for simultaneously laying a contact wire, a suspension cable and a tip conductor or a return conductor. The invention also comprises a version of the machine which, using a friction winch according to the invention, only lays a tip conductor or return conductor. The terms contact wire or suspension cable refer equivalently to all lines and cables which are laid on masts of an overhead line on a track.
[0023] Advantageously, in the double friction winch, a wire deflection unit is arranged between the respective storage drum receptacle and the associated shoe chain. This allows for a small distance between the storage drum receptacles and the double friction winch, because the contact wire unwound from a storage drum is directed toward the associated friction winch. This maintains a constant angle of the respective contact wire relative to the associated friction winch, regardless of the current unwinding position on the storage drum.
[0024] In the method according to the invention for operating the described machine, the contact wire or the suspension cable unwound from a storage drum is positioned at a predetermined height by means of the assembly roller unit during machine travel, wherein a braking torque applied to the drive body is transferred via the shoe chain into a predetermined tensile force of the contact wire or the suspension cable. With this method, a high tensile force can be applied to the contact wire or the suspension cable while the friction winch requires little space. In addition, the contact wire or the suspension cable is protected because the tensile force is applied evenly over the entire winding section of the contact wire or suspension cable resting on the shoe chain. In state-of-the-art friction winches with two groups of winch wheels, the tensile force is applied in stages, whereby there is a risk of overstretching the contact wire or the suspension cable in the free sections between the winch wheel groups. While passing through the two winch wheel groups, the contact wire or suspension cable is bent and stretched several times. This type of stress is eliminated with the friction winch according to the invention.
[0025] The quality of the installed overhead line is improved by a further development of the method in that a measured variable correlating with the tensile force of the contact wire or the suspension cable is continuously recorded and fed to a control device, whereby a rotary drive assigned to the drive body is controlled by the control device as a function of the measured variable. In this way, the high tensile force is kept constant by a control loop, whereby the contact wire or the suspension cable is installed with a particularly uniform tensile stress. This results in an overhead line with a high degree of reliability without waviness or other installation errors. The invention is explained below by way of example with reference to the attached figures. They show a schematic representation:

[0033] The machine 1 shown in Fig. 1 comprises a machine frame 2 which can be moved on rail bogies 3 on a track 4. Such a machine 1 is called, for example, a new overhead line construction machine, a overhead line laying machine or a reconstruction machine. Two rotating frames 5 are mounted on the machine frame 2. Each rotating frame 5 can be pivoted relative to the machine frame 2 about a frame rotation axis 7 aligned in the longitudinal direction 6 of the vehicle. In this way, all the devices arranged on the respective rotating frame 5 for laying a contact wire 8, a supporting cable 9 or another overhead line component can be moved laterally relative to a track axis. This allows precise lateral positioning of the contact wire 8 and / or the supporting cable 9 in curves and for zigzag laying.
[0034] Contact wire 8 is the lower wire of an overhead line for
[0035] Traction current supply for electric traction vehicles. An overhead contact line designed as a catenary consists of the supporting cable 9 and at least one contact wire 8. The at least one contact wire 8 and the supporting cable 9 are connected to one another by hangers and, if necessary, auxiliary cables.
[0036] The exemplary machine 1 in Fig. 1 is designed for the simultaneous laying of a supporting cable 9 and two contact wires 8. Viewed in a working direction 10, the laying devices for the supporting cable 9 are arranged on the front rotating frame 5. These devices comprise a storage drum holder 11 with a storage drum 12 on which the supporting cable 9 is mounted, a friction winch 13, a deflection pulley 14, and a height-adjustable assembly roller unit 15.
[0037] In a continuous work process, the support cable 9 is unwound from the storage drum 12 while the machine 1 is moving forward and guided via the friction winch 13 by means of the deflection pulley 14 to the height-adjustable assembly roller unit 15. The assembly roller unit 15 can be pivoted with the rotating frame 5 and positions the support cable 9 at the desired height and in the desired lateral position relative to the associated rail track.
[0038] A modified version of the rear rotating frame 5, viewed in the working direction 10, is shown in a plan view in Fig. 2 and comprises two storage drum receptacles 11 with a respective storage drum 12. A contact wire 8 is mounted on each of these storage drums 12. The storage drum receptacles 11 are arranged one behind the other in the vehicle's longitudinal direction 6.
[0039] By means of two deflection rollers 14 arranged next to one another, the respective unwound contact wire 8 is guided to an assembly roller unit 15 with two assembly rollers arranged next to one another. Between the respective deflection roller 14 and the associated storage drum 12, the respective contact wire 8 is put under tension by means of its own friction winch 13. The two friction winches 13 are arranged next to one another and are preferably combined to form a double friction winch with a common friction winch holder 16. Here, too, the assembly roller unit 15 can be pivoted with the associated rotating frame 5 in order to position the contact wires 8 laterally at the desired height.
[0040] According to the invention, each friction winch 13 comprises a driving body 17 around which an endless shoe chain 18 is wound. In this case, a winding section 19 of the shoe chain 18 which bears against the driving body 17 has at least one helical turn. This adjacent winding section 19 merges on one side of the driving body 17 into a winding section 20 which does not bear against the driving body 17, wherein this non-adjacent winding section 20 runs over the adjacent winding section 19 and in turn connects to the adjacent winding section 19 on the other side of the driving body 17. The non-adjacent winding section 20 thus spans the at least one turn of the adjacent winding section 19 like an inclined bridge arch.
[0041] In Fig. 7, the drive body 17 is schematically shown as a cylinder with a thin continuous line. The winding section 19, which has two and a half turns, is shown with a thick continuous line, and the non-adjacent winding section 20, which spans the adjacent turns, is shown with a thick dashed line.
[0042] The shoe chain 18 comprises shoe links 21, the inner sides of which face the driving body 17 and the outer sides of which are designed to receive the contact wire 8 or the supporting cable 9. For example, the outer side of the respective shoe link 21 has a longitudinal groove 22 which serves to receive the contact wire 8 or the supporting cable 9. During operation, a relative displacement occurs between the driving body 17 and the adjacent winding section 19 of the shoe chain 18 only in the transverse direction 23. In the tangential direction 24, a jacket surface 25 of the driving body 17 and the adjacent winding section 19 of the shoe chain 18 move without relative displacement.
[0043] The adjacent winding section 19 of the shoe chain 18 serves to apply a tensile force to the contact wire 8 or the supporting cable 9. For this purpose, the contact wire 8 or the supporting cable 9 runs from the storage drum 12 onto the shoe chain 18, wraps around the drive body 17 together with the shoe chain 18 and then runs off the shoe chain 18 in the direction of the deflection pulley 14. There is no relative movement between the shoe chain 18 and the contact wire 8 or the supporting cable 9, whereby a particularly gentle application of tensile force is achieved. Only minimal stretching of the contact wire 8 or the supporting cable 9 is compensated by elastic supports 26 of the shoe links 21. In addition, these supports 26 increase the coefficient of friction between the shoe chain 18 and the contact wire 8 or the supporting cable 9, so that slipping is reliably prevented. In the contact area of the driving body 17 with the shoe chain 18, a high coefficient of friction in the tangential direction 24 and a low coefficient of friction in the transverse direction 23 are desired. In particular, the shoe links 21 resting on the driving body 17 are in positive engagement with the driving body 17 while maintaining transverse displacement. For example, guide strips 28 running parallel to a driving body rotation axis 27 are arranged on the outer surface 25 of the driving body 17. Each shoe link 21 has a groove 29 on its inner side for transverse displacement along the currently assigned guide strips 28. Advantageously, a sliding body 30 having the groove 29 is arranged on the inner side of the respective shoe link 21.
[0044] Advantageously, the shoe chain 18 is constructed from shoe links 21 and intermediate links 31 arranged between the shoe links 21. Similar connecting joints 32 are arranged at the connection points of the shoe links 21 and the intermediate links 31. This ensures a uniform tensile load in these connecting joints 32. Preferably, elastic bushings are arranged in the connecting joints 32 to ensure smooth running of the shoe chain 18.
[0045] The friction winch 13 shown in Fig. 3 is intended for laying a single contact wire 8 or the suspension cable 9. The friction winch holder 16 comprises two side parts 33 which are essentially mirror-inverted to one another and have torque supports 34 and stiffening ribs 35. The two side parts 33 are connected by means of adjustable spacer elements 36. The drive body 17, around which the shoe chain 18 is wrapped, is arranged between the side parts 33. A rotary drive 37 is flanged to at least one side part 33. By means of this rotary drive 37, the drive body 17 is subjected to a braking torque during the laying of the contact wire 8 or the suspension cable 9.
[0046] A measuring device 38 with sensors for detecting a measured variable correlating with the tensile force of the contact wire 8 or the suspension cable 9 is assigned to the friction winch 13 and / or the deflection pulley 14. This measured variable is fed to a control device 39 for controlling the rotary drive 37. In this way, the tensile force of the contact wire 8 or the suspension cable 9 can be controlled by means of a control loop during a laying process, with the braking torque being adjusted to the detected tensile force.
[0047] By means of the control system, the tensile force is kept within a tolerance range of 1 kN, in particular 0.5 kN and especially 0.2 kN. With increasing uniformity of the applied tensile force, the quality of the installed overhead line improves. When the contact wire 8 or the suspension cable 9 is unwound, the control system installed in the control device 39 must, if necessary, compensate for any natural vibration of the contact wire 8 or the suspension cable 9. The demands on the control system are greatest during the start of work.
[0048] The tensile force applied to the contact wire 8 or the suspension cable 9 is, for example, 38 kN. When the storage drum 12 is unwound, a pre-tension with a tensile force of, for example, 2.5 kN is present. In this case, the friction winch 13 must increase the tensile force by 35.5 kN. To achieve this tensile force, a sufficient angle of wrap of the contact wire 8 or the suspension cable 9 on the friction winch 13 is required. For example, the contact wire 8 or the suspension cable 9 is wrapped around the shoe chain 18 with approximately three and a half turns. The adjacent winding section 19 of the shoe chain 18 wraps around the drive body 17 with at least three and a half turns and the non-adjacent winding section 20 spans the adjacent winding section 19 with approximately half a turn.
[0049] Advantageously, the control device 39 is coupled to a travel control 40 of the machine 1. By continuously taking into account a travel speed and / or a trajectory of the machine 1, the response speed of the control loop increases, thereby achieving a further improvement in the quality of the laid contact wire 8 or the laid suspension cable 9.
[0050] The friction winch holder 16 of the double friction winch shown in Fig. 4 also comprises two side parts 33 and a central part 41, which are essentially mirror-inverted to one another. In particular, the double friction winch is constructed symmetrically to a vertical plane of symmetry through the frame rotation axis 7 (Fig. 2). Between the respective side part 33 and the central part 41, one of the two friction winches 13 is arranged with the associated drive body 17 and the shoe chain 18 wrapping around it. Each drive body 17 is coupled to its own rotary drive 37 flanged to the adjacent side part 33.
[0051] In the side view in Fig. 5 a section of the shoe chain 18 is shown, which is attached to the drive body 17. On the top side of the respective shoe link 21 is the
[0052] Longitudinal groove 22 with the elastic support 26 for receiving the contact wire 8 or the suspension cable 9. The elastic support 26 is, for example, a vulcanized rubber insert. The sliding body 30 made of a wear-resistant sliding plastic is arranged on the underside of the respective shoe member 21. The sliding body 30 is fastened as a replaceable wearing part by means of screw connections to a base body 42 of the associated shoe member 21 and is adapted with an approximately uniform thickness to the groove 29 on the underside of the base body 42. Each of the guide strips 28 arranged on the drive body 17 has a trapezoidal cross-section. This cross-section and the respective groove 29 are coordinated with one another in such a way that the lateral sliding surfaces of the guide strips 28 engage with the shoe members 21 without play. The distance between the guide rails 28 on the outer surface 25 of the drive body 17 is adapted to the chain pitch of the shoe chain 18, whereby the helical wrap must be taken into account.
[0053] Lateral guidance of the adjacent winding section 19 of the shoe chain 18 is achieved by means of guide elements 43, in particular by means of guide rollers arranged on the friction winding holder 16. Fig. 6 shows three adjacent windings of the adjacent winding section 19 in cross-section. During operation, the windings of the shoe chain 18 are continuously displaced laterally by means of the guide elements 43. This ensures that the movement of the shoe chain 18 is quiet and free of play.
[0054] In the embodiments according to Figures 2, 3 and 4, the respective friction winch 13 is equipped with a guide device 44 for guiding the non-adjacent winding section 20 of the shoe chain 18. The guide device 44 comprises an arcuate, outwardly open guide rail 45 and spans the windings of the shoe chain 18 adjoining the drive body 17 from one side to the other. To achieve smooth and almost wear-free running of the shoe chain 18, the sliding bodies 30 slide on the inner sides of the shoe links 21 along the guide rail 45.
[0055] The guide device 44 is attached by means of adjustable spacer elements 36 to the side parts 33 or to the middle part 41 of the respective friction winch holder 16. By means of these spacer elements 36, the guide device 44 is configured such that the shoe chain 18 is unwound from the drive body 17 on one side during operation without buckling stress, guided over the windings adjacent to the drive body 17, and wound onto the other side of the drive body 17. In addition, the shoe chain 18 is held under tension by means of the guide device 44 to ensure smooth running.
[0056] In the rotating frame 5 with the double friction winch shown in Fig. 2, care must be taken to ensure that the contact wire 8 unwound from the associated storage drum 12 hits the shoe chain 18 of the associated friction winch 13 at the correct angle and that the two contact wires 8 do not cross. For this reason, a wire deflection unit 46 is arranged between the respective storage drum 12 and the associated friction winch 13. The respective wire deflection unit 46 comprises guide rollers, by means of which the associated contact wire 8 is steered from its current position on the storage drum 12 in the direction of the receiving point of the associated shoe chain 18. For improved control of the respective rotary drive 37, the associated drive body 17 is advantageously coupled to a high-resolution rotary angle sensor 47. A measuring signal from the rotary angle sensor 47 is fed to the control device 39 of the rotary drive 37.In this way, the friction winch 13 is precisely controlled depending on the measured tensile force and taking into account the driving speed and / or the trajectory of the machine 1.
