[0001] CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
[0002] This disclosure is based on the Chinese patent application with application number 202311598382.8 and application date of November 27, 2023, and claims the priority of the above-mentioned Chinese patent application. The entire content of the above-mentioned Chinese patent application is hereby introduced into this disclosure as a reference. Technical Field
[0003] The present disclosure relates to the field of oil cooling technology, but is not limited to it, and in particular to a motor rotor assembly, a motor, and an electric vehicle. Background Art
[0004] The drive motors of existing new energy vehicles generally use oil cooling, which is divided into a cooling system for the rotor and a cooling system for the stator, of which the cooling system for the stator is more common.
[0005] However, insufficient attention is paid to cooling the rotor core within the cooling system, resulting in low cooling efficiency and impacting motor assembly efficiency. The rotor cooling system also rarely considers the symmetrical distribution of coolant, leading to uneven cooling and large temperature differences across the rotor.
[0006] Therefore, there is room for improvement in the cooling system of the motor rotor. Summary of the Invention
[0007] The following is a summary of the subject matter described in detail herein. This summary is not intended to limit the scope of the claims.
[0008] According to an embodiment of the first aspect of the present disclosure, a motor rotor assembly includes a rotating shaft, an iron core, a magnet, and a balancing plate. The rotating shaft is provided with a first oil inlet hole and a second oil inlet hole, the iron core is connected to the rotating shaft, and the iron core is provided with a first channel and a second channel. The balancing plate includes a first balancing plate and a second balancing plate arranged at both axial ends of the iron core, each of which is provided with an oil channel. The oil inlet end of the first channel is connected to the first oil inlet hole through the oil channel on the first balancing plate, and the oil outlet end of the first channel is connected to the oil channel on the second balancing plate. The oil inlet end of the second channel is connected to the second oil inlet hole through the oil channel on the second balancing plate, and the oil outlet end of the second channel is connected to the oil channel on the first balancing plate.
[0009] According to an embodiment of the first aspect of the present disclosure, a motor rotor assembly is provided with a first oil inlet and a second oil inlet on the rotating shaft, thereby distributing the cooling oil in the rotating shaft and improving the oil balance between the two oil inlets. Two cooling oil circuits are provided on the motor rotor assembly to balance the cooling oil in the two oil inlets. The first cooling oil circuit includes a first oil inlet, an oil channel on a first balancing plate, a first channel, and an oil channel on a second balancing plate. The first cooling oil circuit passes through the rotating shaft axially, enters the iron core through the oil channel on the first balancing plate, and flows into the oil channel on the second balancing plate along the axial direction of the iron core, thereby cooling both the rotating shaft and the iron core. Simultaneously, the second cooling oil circuit includes a second oil inlet, an oil channel on the second balancing plate, a second channel, and an oil channel on the first balancing plate, thereby cooling both the rotating shaft and the iron core. The two cooling oil circuits achieve balanced heat dissipation for the motor rotor assembly, with the cooling effects superimposed, thereby optimizing the rotor's cooling capacity.

[0031] The following describes in detail embodiments of the present disclosure, examples of which are shown in the accompanying drawings, wherein the same or similar reference numerals throughout represent the same or similar elements or elements having the same or similar functions. The embodiments described below with reference to the accompanying drawings are exemplary and are intended only to explain the present disclosure and are not to be construed as limiting the present disclosure.
[0032] Some motor rotor assemblies 100 according to embodiments of the present disclosure are described below with reference to FIG. 1 to FIG. 11 .
[0033] As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 , the motor rotor assembly 100 according to some embodiments of the first aspect of the present disclosure includes a rotating shaft 1 , an iron core 2 , and a balancing plate 4 .
[0034] As shown in Figures 3 and 4, the rotating shaft 1 is provided with a first oil inlet hole 11 and a second oil inlet hole 12. After the cooling oil enters the rotating shaft 1, it flows out of the rotating shaft 1 through the first oil inlet hole 11 and the second oil inlet hole 12, respectively. The cooling oil enters different cooling oil circuits through the first oil inlet hole 11 and the second oil inlet hole 12, thereby distributing the cooling oil after leaving the rotating shaft 1. The provision of the first oil inlet hole 11 and the second oil inlet hole 12 improves the balanced distribution of the cooling oil and avoids the problem of uneven cooling oil outflow caused by a single oil inlet hole.
[0035] As shown in Figure 1, the core 2 is connected to the rotating shaft 1 and is provided with a first channel 21 and a second channel 22. The first channel 21 and the second channel 22 extend axially through the core 2. When cooling oil flows through the first and second channels 21, 22, it flows from within the core 2, providing cooling. Specifically, when the temperature inside the core 2 rises, excess heat is transferred to the cooling oil, which then exchanges heat with the core 2. The cooling oil then flows out, removing the absorbed excess heat, thereby directly and evenly cooling the core 2.
[0036] Optionally, the first channel 21 and the second channel 22 are hollow, which is not only conducive to guiding the cooling oil, but also has a weight-reducing effect, thereby improving the working efficiency of the motor rotor assembly 100.
[0037] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the balancing plates include a first balancing plate 41 and a second balancing plate 42, which are disposed at the axial ends of the iron core 2. It can be seen that the function of the balancing plates 4 is to eliminate the unbalanced mass of the motor rotor assembly 100, improve the dynamic balancing accuracy of the motor rotor assembly 100, and thus enhance the performance and life of the motor.
[0038] As shown in FIG1 , each balancing plate 4 is provided with an oil passage 400 , which serves to disperse cooling oil.
[0039] An oil inlet end of the first channel 21 is connected to the first oil inlet hole 11 through an oil channel 400 on the first balancing plate 41 , and an oil outlet end of the first channel 21 is connected to the oil channel 400 on the second balancing plate 42 .
[0040] Specifically, a portion of the cooling oil in the rotating shaft flows out from the first oil inlet hole 11, passes through the first balancing plate 41 and enters the first channel 21 in the iron core 2, flows through the penetrating first channel 21, takes away the excess heat generated by the iron core 2 during operation, and finally flows out of the motor rotor assembly 100 through the oil channel 400 on the second balancing plate 42, thereby cooling the iron core 2.
[0041] Similarly, the oil inlet of the second channel 21 connects to the second oil inlet hole 12 via the oil passage 400 on the second balancing plate 42, while the oil outlet of the second channel 21 connects to the oil passage 400 on the first balancing plate 41. This means that another portion of the cooling oil in the rotating shaft 1 exits the second oil inlet hole 12 of the rotating shaft 1, passes through the second balancing plate 42, and enters the second channel 22 in the iron core 2. Heat is exchanged between the iron core 2 and the cooling oil in the second channel 22, and excess heat from the iron core 2 is transferred to the cooling oil in the second channel 22. After absorbing heat, the cooling oil is discharged from the motor rotor assembly 100 through the oil passage 400 on the first balancing plate 41, cooling the iron core 2. This achieves a combined heat dissipation between the first channel 21 and the second channel 22.
[0042] With this arrangement, the cooling oil in the rotating shaft can be divided into two parts, entering the first channel 21 and the second channel 22 from the first oil inlet hole 11 and the second oil inlet hole 12 respectively, ensuring that the cooling oil in the two channels is balanced and that the motor rotor assembly 100 is symmetrically inletted with oil at the same time, thereby ensuring dynamic balance.
[0043] As shown in FIG. 1 , on each balancing plate 4 , the oil passage 400 includes a first oil passage 401 and a second oil passage 402 that are not connected to each other.
[0044] On the first balancing plate 41, the first oil passage 401 communicates with the first oil inlet hole 11 and the first channel 21, while the second oil passage 402 is separated from the first oil inlet hole 11 and communicates with the second channel 22. Specifically, the ends of the first channel 21 respectively communicate with the first oil passage 401 on the first balancing plate 41 and the first oil passage 401 on the second balancing plate 42.
[0045] On the second balancing plate 42, the first oil passage 401 is separated from the second oil inlet hole 12 and communicates with the first channel 21. The second oil passage 402 communicates with the second oil inlet hole 12 and the second channel 22. Similarly, the ends of the second channel 22 communicate with the second oil passage 402 on the first balancing plate 41 and the second oil passage 402 on the second balancing plate 42, respectively.
[0046] As shown in Figure 1, the motor rotor assembly 100 includes two cooling oil circuits: a first cooling oil circuit R1 and a second cooling oil circuit R2. The first cooling oil circuit R1 includes a first oil inlet 11, a first oil passage 401 on the first balancing plate 41, a first channel 21, and a first oil passage 401 on the second balancing plate 42. Meanwhile, the second cooling oil circuit R2 includes a second oil inlet 12, a second oil passage 402 on the second balancing plate 42, a second channel 22, and the second oil passage 402 on the first balancing plate 41.
[0047] The cooling oil in the first cooling oil circuit R1 flows out of the rotating shaft 1 along the first oil inlet hole 11 of the rotating shaft 1, enters the iron core 2 through the first oil channel 401 of the first balancing plate 41, and flows along the axial first channel 21 of the iron core 2 into the first oil channel 401 of the second balancing plate 42, thereby cooling both the rotating shaft 1 and the iron core 2. Similarly, the cooling oil in the first cooling oil circuit R1 flows through the rotating shaft 1 and the iron core 2, achieving joint cooling with the cooling oil in the first cooling oil circuit R1. The two cooling oil circuits achieve joint heat dissipation, resulting in more balanced cooling of the iron core 2 and a cumulative cooling effect, thereby optimizing the cooling capacity of the motor rotor assembly 100.
[0048] In some embodiments, the first cooling oil circuit R1 and the second cooling oil circuit R2 are independent of each other, and the cooling oil flows in opposite directions. The two oil circuits jointly dissipate heat for the motor rotor assembly 100 .
[0049] It is worth noting that when multiple cooling oil circuits enter from one side of the iron core and flow out from the other side, the large amount of heat absorbed at one end entering the iron core will cause the heat absorption capacity of these cooling oil circuits on the other side to decrease, resulting in inconsistent temperatures on both sides of the iron core and inability to achieve balanced cooling.
[0050] In the technical solution disclosed herein, the cooling oil flows in opposite directions as it passes through the first oil passage 401 and the second oil passage 402, effectively allowing the two oil passages to enter the iron core 2 from opposite ends. This prevents uneven heat absorption and allows for more uniform heat absorption across all parts of the iron core 2, helping to achieve balanced heat dissipation from the iron core 2 and reducing temperature unevenness. This improves the cooling effect of the iron core 2, protects the iron core 2, and extends its service life.
[0051] According to some embodiments of the motor rotor assembly 100 disclosed herein, a radial oil outlet hole 441 is provided on the side of the balance plate 4 facing away from the rotating shaft 1, and a radial inner hole 403 is provided on the side of the balance plate 4 facing the rotating shaft 1. The cooling oil flowing through the balance plate 4 flows out through the radial oil outlet hole 441, taking away the excess heat in the iron core 2, thereby achieving the cooling effect of the motor rotor assembly 100. In addition, the radial oil outlet hole 441 also provides a passage for the cooling oil to be discharged to the outside of the iron core 2, avoiding the problem of excessive weight of the motor rotor assembly 100 caused by excessive cooling oil stored in the iron core 2. The radial oil outlet hole 441 is arranged to extend radially along the balance plate 4, which can effectively reduce the space occupied by the oil channel 400 in the motor rotor assembly 100, making the layout of the motor rotor assembly 100 compact.
[0052] The oil passage 400 further includes a dispersion hole section 46 . The dispersion hole section 46 connects the radial inner hole 403 and the radial oil outlet hole 441 , so as to guide the cooling oil in the radial inner hole 403 into the radial oil outlet hole 441 .
[0053] The two ends of the first channel 21 on the iron core 2 face and connect to the two dispersion hole sections 46 of the first oil passages 401. The two ends of the second channel 22 face and connect to the two dispersion hole sections 46 of the second oil passages 402. The dispersion hole sections 46 disperse the cooling oil across the surface of the balancing plate 4, allowing the cooling oil to better cover the surfaces at both ends of the iron core 2 and improve heat dissipation. Within the same cooling oil circuit, the dispersion hole sections 46 on one balancing plate 4 disperse the cooling oil and direct it into the corresponding oil passages 400. The dispersion hole sections 46 on the other balancing plate 4 gather the cooling oil and carry it away from the motor rotor assembly 100.
[0054] As shown in FIG. 6 , according to the motor rotor assembly 100 of some embodiments of the present disclosure, the dispersed hole segment 46 includes an arcuate sub-segment 462 , an inner connecting sub-segment 461 , and an outer connecting sub-segment 464 .
[0055] The arcuate sub-segment 462 extends around the rotating shaft 1. The arcuate sub-segment 462 extends along the circumference of the rotating shaft 1 to form an arcuate cooling oil path to cover part of the interior of the core 2, increase the contact area with the core 2, and facilitate heat dissipation.
[0056] The inner connecting sub-segment 461 intersects and communicates with the arcuate sub-segment 462 , and one end of the inner connecting sub-segment 461 facing the rotating shaft 1 is connected to the radial inner hole 403 . Cooling oil enters the inner connecting sub-segment 461 through the radial inner hole 403 and then enters the arcuate sub-segment 462 .
[0057] The outer connecting sub-segment 464 intersects and communicates with the arcuate sub-segment 462. The end of the outer connecting sub-segment 464 facing away from the rotating shaft 1 is connected to the radial oil outlet hole 441. After the cooling oil enters the arcuate sub-segment 462, it passes through the outer connecting sub-segment 464 and finally leaves the motor rotor assembly 100 through the radial spray hole.
[0058] According to some embodiments of the present disclosure, the motor rotor assembly 100 includes at least two radially spaced arcuate sub-segments 462 within the dispersed hole segment 46. The dispersed hole segment 46 also includes a connecting sub-segment 463 connecting two radially adjacent arcuate sub-segments 462. Specifically, the cooling oil flows through the balance plate 4 along the following path: radial inner hole 403 - inner connecting sub-segment 461 - arcuate sub-segment 462 closer to the shaft 1 - connecting sub-segment 463 - arcuate sub-segment 462 farther from the shaft 1 - outer connecting sub-segment 464 - radial oil outlet 441.
[0059] As shown in FIG1 , according to some embodiments of the present disclosure, a motor rotor assembly 100 includes an axially extending mounting hole 23 formed in the iron core 2. The magnet 30 of the motor rotor assembly 100 fits within the mounting hole 23. The mounting hole 23 provides a stable mounting position for the magnet 30, ensuring that the magnet 30 does not fall off during operation of the motor rotor assembly 100.
[0060] Because the magnetic resistance of the magnet 30 increases accordingly under high temperatures, it can lead to insufficient motor power, and in severe cases, can cause demagnetization of the magnet 30. Therefore, multiple external connecting sub-segments 464 are provided, each of which is arranged opposite a magnet 30 and extends along the extension direction of the magnet 30 to the radial oil outlet 441. The cooling oil in the external connecting sub-segment 464 cools the adjacent magnets 30, and the cooling oil after heat exchange is brought out of the iron core 2 through the radial oil outlet 441, achieving heat dissipation of the magnet 30, avoiding the problem of increased magnetic resistance due to high temperature, and also avoiding the problem of demagnetization of the magnet 30, thereby ensuring the service life of the motor.
[0061] According to some embodiments of the motor rotor assembly 100 disclosed herein, a dispersion hole segment 46 is formed on the surface of the balancing plate 4 connected to the iron core 2. This not only facilitates the cooling oil in the balancing plate 4 to be dispersed and then enter the iron core 2 for heat dissipation, but also facilitates the cooling oil after absorbing heat in the iron core 2 to be introduced into the balancing plate 4 for uniform discharge, thereby enhancing the heat dissipation effect of the iron core 2 and achieving a balanced heat dissipation effect.
[0062] As shown in Figures 7 and 9 , in accordance with some embodiments of the present disclosure, an axial oil outlet hole 442 is provided on the side of the balance plate 4 facing away from the iron core 2. The axial oil outlet hole 442 communicates with the oil passage 400. When cooling oil is ejected through the axial oil outlet hole 442, it removes heat from the surfaces of the two ends of the iron core 2.
[0063] As shown in Figures 1 and 7 , according to some embodiments of the present disclosure, each oil passage 400 of the motor rotor assembly 100 further includes a connecting hole segment 47. One end of the connecting hole segment 47 is connected to the axial oil outlet hole 442, and the other end is connected to the radial inner hole 403 or the distributed hole segment 46. This connecting hole segment 47 connects multiple cooling oil passages within the balancing plate 4, distributing the cooling oil to different cooling oil passages within the balancing plate 4, thereby achieving a cooling effect in which multiple cooling oil passages are collectively cooled.
[0064] According to some embodiments of the motor rotor assembly 100 disclosed herein, the first oil passages 401 and the second oil passages 402 on each balancing plate 4 are centrally symmetrically arranged. The first oil passages 401 and the second oil passages 402 are centrally symmetrically arranged relative to the rotating shaft 1. This arrangement facilitates evenly distributing cooling oil in the first oil passages 401 and the second oil passages 402 during rotation. This not only achieves uniform distribution of cooling oil in the two oil passages 400, ensuring dynamic balance during operation of the motor rotor assembly 100, but also achieves balanced heat dissipation in the two oil passages 400, facilitating balanced temperature differences within the motor rotor assembly 100, avoiding uneven cooling between the front and rear ends of the motor rotor assembly 100, and improving the motor's operating efficiency.
[0065] Since the balance plate 4 is close to the armature end of the motor, when the cooling oil is sprayed out from the axial oil outlet 442, the cooling oil can absorb heat from the armature end, thereby reducing the temperature of the armature end, reducing the temperature of the motor as a whole, and increasing the service life of the motor.
[0066] As shown in FIG1 , according to some embodiments of the present disclosure, a motor rotor assembly 100 includes an axially extending central hole 10 disposed within a rotating shaft 1. Central hole 10 communicates with a first oil inlet hole 11 and a second oil inlet hole 12. Cooling oil is introduced into the rotating shaft 1 through central hole 10, and central hole 10 communicates with both first and second oil inlet holes 11, 12, respectively, ensuring balanced distribution of cooling oil between the first and second oil inlet holes 11, 12.
[0067] As shown in FIG1 , the first channel 21 and the second channel 22 are respectively provided through the axial direction, thereby ensuring that the cooling oil can flow through the entire interior of the core 2 along its length, increasing the contact length between the core 2 and the cooling oil, improving the heat dissipation area of the core 2, and ensuring that the core 2 and the cooling oil have sufficient time and area for heat exchange, thereby improving the heat dissipation effect of the core 2. This effectively prevents the core 2 from overheating.
[0068] As shown in FIG10 , the motor rotor assembly 100 according to some embodiments of the present disclosure further includes an oil pipe 5 mounted within the central hole 10. One end of the oil pipe 5 is an inlet end 50. The oil pipe 5 is provided with a first hole 51 and a second hole 52 spaced axially apart. The first hole 51 is adjacent to the first oil inlet hole 11, and the second hole 52 is adjacent to the second oil inlet hole 12. The oil pipe 5 is capable of directing cooling oil from the exterior of the motor rotor assembly 100 into the rotating shaft 1. The oil is then directed through the first hole 51 and the second hole 52 into the first oil inlet hole 11 and the second oil inlet hole 12, respectively, thereby absorbing heat from the cooling oil.
[0069] As shown in FIG10 , the motor rotor assembly 100 according to some embodiments of the present disclosure further includes an oil inlet nozzle 60, which is mounted at one end of the center hole 10 and has an interference fit with the inlet end 50 of the oil pipe 5. The oil pipe 5 and the oil inlet nozzle 60 are both assembled within the rotating shaft 1, and the oil inlet nozzle 60 and the oil pipe 5 have an interference fit to prevent the cooling oil from forming gaps between the oil inlet nozzle 60 and the oil pipe 5, which could result in uneven cooling oil distribution.
[0070] As shown in FIG11 , according to some embodiments of the present disclosure, a motor rotor assembly 100 further includes a first bearing oil hole 13 and a second bearing oil hole 14 in the rotating shaft 1 that communicate with the central hole 10. Cooling oil flows out of the central hole 10 of the rotating shaft 1 through the first bearing oil hole 13 and the second bearing oil hole 14.
[0071] The first bearing oil hole 13 is located on the side of the first oil inlet hole 11 away from the second oil inlet hole 12 to spray cooling oil into one bearing. The second bearing oil hole 14 is located on the side of the second oil inlet hole 12 away from the first oil inlet hole 11 to spray cooling oil into the other bearing. In some embodiments, the rotating shaft 1 is provided with a left bearing and a right bearing, respectively, located on either side of the iron core 2. The first bearing oil hole 13 is located near the left bearing, while the second bearing oil hole 14 is located near the right bearing. Some cooling oil enters the left bearing through the first bearing oil hole 13, while some cooling oil enters the right bearing through the second bearing oil hole 14. The cooling oil can lubricate the bearings.
[0072] In some embodiments, the motor rotor assembly 100 also includes a pressure ring 70, which is sleeved on the rotating shaft 1 and located at the end away from the oil inlet nozzle 60. The pressure ring 70 is tightly pressed against the outer side of the side balance plate 4, so that one end of the side balance plate 4 is close to the iron core 2, and the other end is adjacent to the pressure ring 70. The pressure ring 70 is interference fit with the rotating shaft 1 to ensure that the two balance plates 4 are tightly fitted with the iron core 2 to avoid leakage of cooling oil.
[0073] According to other embodiments of the present disclosure, a motor includes a housing, a stator assembly, and a rotor assembly. The stator assembly is mounted within the housing, and the rotor assembly is mounted within the housing and mated with the stator assembly. The rotor assembly is the motor rotor assembly 100 described in the aforementioned embodiment. The motors of the present disclosure have high heat dissipation efficiency.
[0074] According to some other embodiments of the present disclosure, an electric vehicle has a power motor that is the motor in the above embodiment.
[0075] 1 to 11 , a motor rotor assembly 100 according to a specific embodiment of the present disclosure will be described below.
