[0009] In the conventional technology, improvement of user convenience is desired. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, it is possible to improve user convenience.
[0010] The present disclosure includes a terminal device accepting selection of at least one setting position from a plurality of preset setting positions. In the following embodiments of the present disclosure, the plurality of setting positions will be described as a plurality of seat positions. However, the plurality of setting positions is not limited to a plurality of seat positions as long as they are preset positions.
[0011] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0012] (Configuration of lighting system) As shown in Fig. 1 , a lighting system 1 according to this embodiment includes a terminal device 10, a server device 20, a control device 30, a plurality of lighting fixtures 40, and a plurality of illuminance sensors 41. The lighting system 1 may include a plurality of terminal devices 10. The plurality of lighting fixtures 40 may also be referred to as a "group of lighting fixtures."
[0013] The terminal device 10, the server device 20, and the control device 30 can communicate with each other via a network 2. The network 2 may be any network including a mobile communication network, the Internet, and the like.
[0014] The terminal device 10 is used by a user. The terminal device 10 is, for example, a smartphone, a tablet terminal, or a personal computer (PC).
[0015] Server device 20 provides a setting app (described below) to terminal device 10. Server device 20 also controls lighting fixtures 40 and illuminance sensors 41 by transmitting control signals and the like to control device 30. Server device 20 is, for example, a dedicated computer configured to function as a server, a general-purpose personal computer, or a cloud computing system.
[0016] The control device 30 may be placed at any location within the building 3. In FIG. 1 , the building 3 includes multiple rooms 4. However, the number of rooms 4 included in the building 3 may be one. The room 4 is used as, for example, an office or a conference room. However, the room 4 may be used for any purpose.
[0017] The control device 30 receives control signals and the like from the server device 20. The control device 30 controls the lighting fixtures 40 and the illuminance sensors 41 in each room 4 based on the received control signals and the like.
[0018] Lighting fixture 40 is installed, for example, on the ceiling of room 4. As shown in Fig. 2, multiple lighting fixtures 40 are arranged in a grid pattern in room 4. However, lighting fixtures 40 may be arranged in any manner.
[0019] The lighting fixture 40 is configured to include various light sources, such as LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes). The lighting fixture 40 may be configured as a glareless light. A glareless light is a light with a narrower light distribution angle than a normal downlight. However, the lighting fixture 40 is not limited to a glareless light and may be configured in various other ways.
[0020] Lighting device 40 turns on or off under the control of control device 30. When lighting device 40 is turned on, it outputs illumination light under the control of control device 30.
[0021] The illuminance sensor 41 is installed, for example, on the ceiling of the room 4. The illuminance sensor 41 detects the ambient illuminance. The multiple illuminance sensors 41 are arranged in the room 4 so that the multiple illuminance sensors 41 detect the illuminance of substantially the entire room 4. For example, as shown in FIG. 2 , the multiple illuminance sensors 41 are arranged in a dispersed manner. However, the multiple illuminance sensors 41 do not have to be arranged so as to detect the illuminance of substantially the entire room 4. In other words, the illuminance sensors 41 only need to be arranged so that they can detect the illuminance of at least an area of the room 4 that is expected to be illuminated by the lighting fixture 40. The illuminance sensor 41 may be configured to include a light-receiving element such as a photodiode. Alternatively, a camera may be used as the illuminance sensor 41. The illuminance of the area around the camera can be detected by analyzing an image captured by the camera. Furthermore, as long as a detection method is adopted that allows one illuminance sensor 41 to detect the illuminance of substantially the entire room 4, only one illuminance sensor 41 may be arranged in the room 4. This detection method is, for example, a detection method using a camera or the like.
[0022] As shown in Fig. 2, the room 4 includes seats 5A, 5B, 5C, 5D, 5E, 5F, 5G, 5H, 5I, 5J, 5K, and 5L. Hereinafter, unless there is a need to distinguish between the seats 5A to 5L, these will be referred to as "seats 5." In this embodiment, the room 4 includes 12 seats 5. However, the room 4 may include any number of seats 5.
[0023] The seats 5 are used by a user of the terminal device 10. The user of the terminal device 10 can use the terminal device 10 to select a seat 5 that the user wants to use from among the plurality of seats 5 and make settings related to lighting for the selected seat 5. A setting app may be installed in the terminal device 10. The setting app is an application program for selecting at least one seat 5 from the plurality of seats 5 and making settings related to lighting for the selected at least one seat 5.
[0024] In this embodiment, when lighting settings are made for a seat 5, lighting in an area 6 (a predetermined area) including the location of the seat 5 is controlled. The area 6 is set for the seat 5. The area 6 may be a region within a predetermined range from the location of the seat 5. The predetermined range may be set according to the number of lighting fixtures 40 arranged in the room 4. Areas 6A, 6B, 6C, 6D, 6E, 6F, 6G, 6H, 6I, 6J, 6K, and 6L are set for the seats 5A to 5L. Here, lighting in the area 6 is controlled by controlling lighting fixtures 40 capable of outputting illumination light to the area 6. Therefore, as long as there is a lighting fixture 40 capable of outputting illumination light in the area 6, it does not matter whether a lighting fixture 40 is arranged in the area 6 or not. The illuminance setting for the area 6 may be based on the method described in Japanese Patent Application No. 2023-113282.
[0025] In this embodiment, the lighting settings for the seat 5 include the setting of an illuminance setting value and the setting of a fixed value, as described below. However, the lighting settings are not limited to the setting of an illuminance setting value and the setting of a fixed value. The lighting settings may be set arbitrarily depending on the usage mode of the lighting device 40, etc.
[0026] When an illuminance setting value is set for a seat 5, at least one lighting device 40 capable of outputting illumination light to the area 6 of the seat 5 is controlled based on the detection result of the illuminance sensor 41 so that the illuminance of the area 6 of the seat 5 falls within a set range that includes the illuminance setting value. The set range may be set based on factors such as fluctuations in the illumination light from the lighting devices 40. Here, the illuminance of the area 6 is determined by natural light and the illumination light from the lighting devices 40. Natural light is, for example, external light that enters the area 6 through a window, a door, or the like. In this way, the illuminance setting value adjusts the illuminance of the area 6 taking natural light into account. Therefore, by setting an illuminance setting value for the seat 5, power consumption can be reduced.
[0027] When a fixed value is set for seat 5, the illumination output value of the lighting fixtures 40 corresponding to area 6 of that seat 5 is controlled to be the fixed value. In other words, the fixed value can also be considered to be the illumination output value of the lighting fixtures 40 corresponding to seat 5. The lighting fixtures 40 corresponding to area 6 may be set in advance. Lighting fixtures 40 that have a significant impact on the illuminance of area 6 may be appropriately selected as the lighting fixtures 40 corresponding to area 6. The lighting fixtures 40 corresponding to area 6 may include only the lighting fixtures 40 located in area 6, or may include only the lighting fixtures 40 located outside area 6. Alternatively, the lighting fixtures 40 corresponding to area 6 may include both the lighting fixtures 40 located in area 6 and the lighting fixtures 40 located outside area 6. The fixed value may be set as a percentage of the maximum illumination output value, or may be set in multiple stages. For example, the fixed value is set in 255 stages. If there are multiple lighting fixtures 40 corresponding to area 6, the illumination output values of the multiple lighting fixtures 40 are each controlled to be the fixed value.
[0028] An RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tag 7 is placed on each seat 5. The RFID tag 7 may be any type of tag that uses RFID technology. For example, the RFID tag 7 may be an NFC (near field communication) tag that uses NFC, a type of RFID. RFID tags 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D, 7E, 7F, 7G, 7H, 7I, 7J, 7K, and 7L are placed on each seat 5A to 5L. The RFID tag 7 stores information for launching a setting app and identification information for the seat 5 on which the RFID tag 7 is placed.
[0029] Authorization to use the seats 5 may be set for some or all of the seats 5 among the plurality of seats 5. Authorization to use the seats 5 means restricting the users who can use the seats 5. When authorization to use the seats 5 is set, information on the authorization to use the seats 5 may be stored in the RFID tag 7 of the seats 5.
[0030] For example, when the room 4 is used as an office, it may be desirable to limit the users who can use some or all of the seats 5 to users with specific job titles. In this case, the RFID tags 7 of some or all of the seats 5 may store information on the job titles that are permitted to use the seats 5 as information on the seat usage authority.
[0031] For example, when the room 4 is used by a department, it may be desirable to limit the users who can use some or all of the seats 5 to employees of that department. In this case, the RFID tags 7 of some or all of the seats 5 may store information about the departments that are permitted to use the seats 5 as information about the seat usage authority.
[0032] Here, an identification image may be attached to the seat 5 instead of the RFID tag 7. The identification image is an image for obtaining information for launching a setting application and information on the identification information of the seat 5 to which the identification image is attached. The identification image is, for example, a one-dimensional code such as a barcode or a two-dimensional code such as a QR code (registered trademark). When a usage authority is set for the seat 5, the identification image may be an image for obtaining information on the usage authority of the seat 5, for example, information on at least one of the position and department authorized to use the seat 5.
[0033] (Configuration of Terminal Device) As shown in FIG. 1 , the terminal device 10 includes a communication unit 11 , a positioning unit 12 , an input unit 13 , a display unit 14 , a storage unit 15 , a control unit 16 , and a camera 17 .
[0034] The communication unit 11 is configured to include at least one communication module connectable to the network 2. The communication module is a communication module compatible with mobile communication standards such as LTE (Long Term Evolution), 4G (4th Generation), or 5G (5th Generation).
[0035] The communication unit 11 includes at least one communication module capable of performing short-range wireless communication. The communication module is a communication module that complies with a short-range wireless communication standard such as NFC or RFID (Radio Frequency Identifier).

[0038] The display unit 14 includes a display, such as an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) or an organic EL (Electro Luminescence) display.
[0039] The storage unit 15 includes at least one semiconductor memory, at least one magnetic memory, at least one optical memory, or a combination of at least two of these. The semiconductor memory may be, for example, a random access memory (RAM) or a read-only memory (ROM). The RAM may be, for example, a static random access memory (SRAM) or a dynamic random access memory (DRAM). The ROM may be, for example, an electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM). The storage unit 15 may function as a main storage device, an auxiliary storage device, or a cache memory. The storage unit 15 stores data used in the operation of the terminal device 10 and data obtained by the operation of the terminal device 10. The storage unit 15 may also store programs executed by the control unit 16.
[0040] For example, the storage unit 15 stores information about the user of the terminal device 10. The user information includes, for example, information about the user's job title and / or information about the department to which the user belongs.
[0041] The control unit 16 is configured to include at least one processor, at least one dedicated circuit, or a combination of these. The processor is, for example, a general-purpose processor such as a CPU (Central Processing Unit) or a GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), or a dedicated processor specialized for specific processing. The dedicated circuit is, for example, an FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) or an ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit). The control unit 16 executes processing related to the operation of the terminal device 10 while controlling each unit of the terminal device 10.
[0042] The camera 17 is capable of capturing an image of a subject and generating a captured image. The camera 17 is, for example, a visible light camera.
[0043] (Configuration of Server Device) As shown in FIG. 1 , the server device 20 includes a communication unit 21 , a storage unit 22 , and a control unit 23 .
[0044] The communication unit 21 includes at least one communication module that can be connected to the network 2. The communication module is, for example, a communication module that complies with standards such as a wired LAN (Local Area Network) or a wireless LAN. The communication unit 21 is connected to the network 2 via the wired LAN or wireless LAN by the communication module.
[0045] The storage unit 22 is configured to include at least one semiconductor memory, at least one magnetic memory, at least one optical memory, or a combination of at least two of these. The semiconductor memory is, for example, a RAM or a ROM. The RAM is, for example, an SRAM or a DRAM. The ROM is, for example, an EEPROM. The storage unit 22 may function as a main storage device, an auxiliary storage device, or a cache memory. The storage unit 22 stores data used in the operation of the server device 20 and data obtained by the operation of the server device 20. The storage unit 22 may store a program executed by the control unit 23.
[0046] The control unit 23 is configured to include at least one processor, at least one dedicated circuit, or a combination of these. The processor is, for example, a general-purpose processor such as a CPU or GPU, or a dedicated processor specialized for a specific process. The dedicated circuit is, for example, an FPGA or ASIC. The control unit 23 executes processes related to the operation of the server device 20 while controlling each part of the server device 20.
[0047] (Operation of Terminal Device) Figures 3, 4, 5, and 6 are flowcharts showing an example of the procedure of the setting process executed by the terminal device 10 shown in Figure 1. This setting process corresponds to the setting method according to this embodiment. First, the user selects the seat 5 they wish to use from among the seats 5A to 5L in the room 4 as shown in Figure 2. After selecting the seat 5 they wish to use, the user holds the terminal device 10 over the RFID tag 7 placed on the selected seat 5. When the user holds the terminal device 10 over the RFID tag 7, the terminal device 10 starts the process of step S1 as shown in Figure 3.
[0048] In the process of step S1, the control unit 16 reads information stored in the RFID tag 7 by performing short-range wireless communication with the RFID tag 7 using the communication unit 11. As described above, the RFID tag 7 stores information for launching a setting app and identification information for the seat 5 on which the RFID tag 7 is placed. After reading the information from the RFID tag 7, the control unit 16 launches the setting app. After launching the setting app, the control unit 16 identifies the seat 5 selected by the user based on the identification information for the seat 5 read from the RFID tag 7. The launched setting app causes the terminal device 10 to execute the processes of the following steps S2 to S30.
[0049] In the process of step S2, the control unit 16 displays a first image on the display unit 14. The first image includes a plurality of first icons respectively corresponding to a plurality of seats 5. The control unit 16 displays the first icon corresponding to the seat 5 selected by the user identified in the process of step S1 in a manner different from the other first icons.
[0050] For example, the control unit 16 causes the display unit 14 to display a first image 50 as shown in FIG. 7. The first image 50 includes first icons 51A, 51B, 51C, 51D, 51E, 51F, 51G, 51H, 51I, 51J, 51K, and 51L. The first icons 51A to 51L correspond to seats 5A to 5L, respectively, as shown in FIG. 2. In FIG. 7, the user selects seat 5G and holds the terminal device 10 over the RFID tag 7G. Therefore, the control unit 16 identifies seat 5G as the seat 5 selected by the user and displays the first icon 51G corresponding to seat 5G in a different manner from the other first icons 51A, etc.
[0051] In this way, the first icon corresponding to the seat selected by the user in the first image is displayed in a manner different from the other first icons, allowing the user to confirm whether the seat 5 that the user wants to use has been correctly selected.
[0052] Here, if the user has a lot of materials to use, for example, the user may wish to use two or more seats 5 .
[0053] Therefore, in the process of step S2, the control unit 16 may accept a selection of an additional seat 5 from the user in addition to the seat 5 selected by the user in the process of step S1. For example, the control unit 16 may accept a touch input to at least one of a plurality of first icons included in the first image via the input unit 13. The control unit 16 may accept a selection of a seat 5 corresponding to the first icon for which the touch input has been accepted. When the control unit 16 accepts a selection of a seat 5 from the user, it may display the first icon corresponding to the seat 5 for which the selection has been accepted in a manner different from that of the other first icons.
[0054] 7, for example, the user wishes to use seat 5H in addition to seat 5G and touches first icon 51H corresponding to seat 5H. In this case, the control unit 16 accepts the selection of seat 5H by accepting touch input on first icon 51H. The control unit 16 displays first icon 51H in a manner that is the same as or similar to first icon 51G, but different from the other first icons 51A, etc.
[0055] Here, if the user has mistakenly selected seat 5, for example, the user may wish to cancel the selection of seat 5.
[0056] Therefore, in the processing of step S2, the control unit 16 may receive an input to deselect a seat 5 via the input unit 13. The input to deselect a seat 5 may be a touch input to the first icon corresponding to the selected seat 5. When the control unit 16 receives an input to deselect a seat 5, it displays the first icon corresponding to the seat 5 for which the control unit 16 has received the input to deselect the seat 5 in the same manner as the first icon corresponding to the unselected seat 5.
[0057] For example, in Fig. 7, it is assumed that the user mistakenly selects seat 5G. In this case, the user touches the first icon 51G corresponding to seat 5G. The control unit 16 accepts the touch input on the first icon 51G corresponding to the selected seat 5G as an input to deselect seat 5G. The control unit 16 displays the first icon 51G in the same manner as the first icon 51A corresponding to the unselected seat 5A, etc.
[0058] After the process of step S2, when the user visually checks the first image to confirm that the seat 5 that the user wants to use has been correctly selected, the user inputs an input to confirm the selection of the seat 5 from the input unit 13. For example, in FIG. 7 , the input to confirm the selection of the seat 5 is a touch input to the icon 52.
[0059] In the processing of step S3, the control unit 16 receives an input to confirm the selection of seat 5 via the input unit 13. For example, in FIG. 7 , the control unit 16 receives a touch input to icon 52 via the input unit 13. Here, if seat 5 has not been selected at the time the control unit 16 receives the input to confirm the selection of seat 5, the control unit 16 may cause the display unit 14 to display a message saying "Please select a seat." In this case, the control unit 16 does not need to proceed to the processing of step S4 until seat 5 is selected.
[0060] In the process of step S4 , the control unit 16 acquires user information from the storage unit 15 .
[0061] In the process of step S5, the control unit 16 determines whether or not a use authorization has been set for the seat 5 selected by the user. For example, if the information on the RFID tag 7 read in the process of step S1 includes information on the use authorization, the control unit 16 determines that a use authorization has been set for the selected seat 5. If the control unit 16 determines that a use authorization has been set for the seat 5 selected by the user (step S5: YES), the control unit 16 proceeds to the process of step S6. On the other hand, if the control unit 16 determines that a use authorization has not been set for the seat 5 selected by the user (step S5: NO), the control unit 16 proceeds to the process of step S9 as shown in FIG. 4.
[0062] In the process of step S6, the control unit 16 determines whether or not the user has the authority to use the selected seat 5. The control unit 16 determines whether or not the user has the authority to use the seat 5, for example, by using the user information acquired in the process of step S4 and the information on the authority to use the seat 5 read from the RFID tag 7 in the process of step S1.
[0063] As an example of the processing of step S6, if the information on the authority to use seat 5 is information on a position permitted to use seat 5, the control unit 16 extracts information on the user's position from the user information acquired in the processing of step S4. If the user's position matches the position permitted to use seat 5, the control unit 16 determines that the user has the authority to use seat 5.
[0064] As another example of the processing of step S6, if the information on the authority to use seat 5 is information about a department that is authorized to use seat 5, the control unit 16 acquires information about the department to which the user belongs from the user information acquired in the processing of step S4. If the department to which the user belongs matches the department that is authorized to use seat 5, the control unit 16 determines that the user has the authority to use seat 5.
[0065] If the control unit 16 determines that the user has the authority to use the selected seat 5 (step S6: YES), the control unit 16 proceeds to the processing of step S7. On the other hand, if the control unit 16 determines that the user does not have the authority to use the selected seat 5 (step S6: NO), the control unit 16 does not permit the user to set the illuminance setting value for the seat 5. In other words, the control unit 16 ends the setting processing.
[0066] In the process of step S7, the control unit 16 acquires the location information of the terminal device 10 by the positioning unit 12. The control unit 16 sets the acquired location information of the terminal device 10 as the user's location information.
[0067] In step S8, the control unit 16 determines whether the user's location acquired in step S7 is a predetermined distance or more from the seat 5 selected in step S1 or the like. Depending on the accuracy of the location information acquired by the positioning unit 12, the control unit 16 may determine whether the user's location acquired in step S7 is a predetermined distance or more from the location of the room 4 including the seat 5 selected in step S1 or the like. The predetermined distance may be set taking into account the distance from the seat 5 to the user when the user selects the seat 5 by remote control or the like. If the control unit 16 determines that the user's location is a predetermined distance or more from the seat 5 (step S8: YES), the control unit 16 does not permit the user to set an illuminance setting value for the seat 5. In other words, the control unit 16 terminates the setting process. On the other hand, if the control unit 16 determines that the user's location is not a predetermined distance or more from the seat 5 (step S8: NO), the control unit 16 proceeds to step S9 as shown in FIG. 4 .
[0068] In the process of step S9 as shown in FIG. 4 , the control unit 16 displays a second image on the display unit 14. The second image includes a plurality of second icons each associated with an illuminance. The second icons may be associated with a work mode and an illuminance recommended for that work mode. The work mode may be set taking into consideration the work mode that the user will perform using the seat 5.
[0069] For example, the control unit 16 causes the display unit 14 to display a second image 60 as shown in FIG. 8 . The second image 60 includes second icons 61, 62, 63, 64, and 65. The second icons 61 to 65 are associated with work modes and recommended illuminances for the work modes. For example, the second icon 61 is associated with PC work as a work mode and an illuminance of 300 lx recommended for PC work. The second icon 62 is associated with meeting as a work mode and an illuminance of 500 lx recommended for meetings. The second icon 63 is associated with reading as a work mode and an illuminance of 500 lx recommended for reading. The second icon 64 is associated with break time as a work mode and an illuminance of 100 lx recommended for breaks. The second icon 65 is associated with paperwork as a work mode and 700 [lx], an illumination level recommended for paperwork.
[0070] By displaying such a second image on the display unit 14, the user can view the second image and select a work mode to be performed at the seat 5. The user touches the second icon of the selected work mode.
[0071] In the process of step S10, the control unit 16 receives a touch input to a second icon via the input unit 13. The control unit 16 displays the second icon for which the touch input has been received in a manner different from the other second icons. For example, in FIG. 8 , the user touches the second icon 62. When the control unit 16 receives the touch input to the second icon 62, the control unit 16 changes the color of a portion of the second icon 62. By changing the color of a portion of the second icon 62, the control unit 16 displays the second icon 62 in a manner different from the other second icons 61, etc.
[0072] In the process of step S10, the control unit 16 acquires the illuminance associated with the second icon for which the touch input has been received as the illuminance setting value.
[0073] In the process of step S11, the control unit 16 transmits the identification information of the seat 5 selected by the user and the illuminance setting value acquired in the process of step S10 to the server device 20 via the network 2 using the communication unit 11. After transmitting the illuminance setting value and the like to the server device 20, the control unit 16 displays a third icon on the display unit 14. The third icon is an icon indicating that the lighting for the selected seat 5 is being changed. The third icon is, for example, a loading animation. By displaying such a third icon, the user can know that the lighting for the seat 5 selected by the user is being changed.
[0074] When the processing of step S11 is executed, in the server device 20, the control unit 23 receives the identification information of the seat 5 and the illuminance setting value from the terminal device 10 via the network 2 through the communication unit 21. Upon receiving this information, the control unit 23 transmits the identification information of the seat 5 and the illuminance setting value to the control device 30 via the network 2 through the communication unit 21. The control device 30 receives the identification information of the seat 5 and the illuminance setting value from the server device 20 via the network 2. The control device 30 identifies the seat 5 selected by the user based on the received identification information of the seat 5. The control device 30 controls the lighting device 40 based on the detection result of the illuminance sensor 41 so that the illuminance of the area 6 of the identified seat 5 becomes the illuminance setting value. When the illuminance of the area 6 becomes the illuminance setting value, the control device 30 transmits a first completion notification to the server device 20 via the network 2. The first completion notification is a notification indicating that the illuminance of the area 6 has become the illuminance setting value. Here, there may be cases where the illuminance of area 6 of the identified seat 5 has already reached the illuminance setting value even without changing the illumination light output value of lighting fixture 40. In this case, control device 30 transmits a second completion notification to server device 20 over network 2 instead of the first completion notification. The second completion notification is a notification indicating that the illuminance of area 6 has already reached the illuminance setting value even without changing the illumination light output value of lighting fixture 40. In server device 20, control unit 23 receives the first completion notification or the second completion notification from control device 30 over network 2 via communication unit 21. Control unit 23 transmits the received first completion notification or the second completion notification to terminal device 10 over network 2 via communication unit 21.
[0075] In the process of step S12, the control unit 16 receives a first completion notification or a second completion notification from the server device 20 via the network 2 through the communication unit 11. When the control unit 16 receives the first completion notification or the second completion notification, it erases the displayed third icon from the display unit 14. By erasing the displayed third icon, the user can know that the illumination for the seat 5 selected by the user has reached the illuminance setting value.
[0076] In the process of step S12, if control unit 16 receives the second completion notification instead of the first completion notification, control unit 16 may cause display unit 14 to display a notification indicating that the illumination light output value of lighting device 40 was not changed but the illuminance of area 6 has already been set to the illuminance setting value. If the illumination light output value of lighting device 40 is not changed, the user may think that the illuminance setting value for seat 5 was not set correctly. Even in such a case, the display of this notification allows the user to know that the illumination light output value of lighting device 40 was not changed but the illuminance of area 6 has already been set to the illuminance setting value.
[0077] In the process of step S13, the control unit 16 enables a change to the illuminance setting value to be accepted from the change area. The change area is an area for accepting a change to the illuminance setting value. The change area may be an area included in the second image. For example, in FIG. 8, the change area includes a slider bar 66A and a confirm button 66B.
[0078] After the processes of steps S12 and S13, the user considers whether the current brightness around the seat 5 is the brightness that the user prefers.
[0079] If the user thinks that the current brightness around the seat 5 is not the desired brightness, the user inputs a new illuminance setting value by touching the change area. For example, in Fig. 8, the user changes the illuminance setting value by touching the slider bar 66A. After touching the slider bar 66A, the user touches the confirm button 66B.
[0080] When the user considers that the current brightness around the seat 5 is the desired brightness, or when the user wishes to set a fixed value for the seat 5, the user inputs an input to terminate the adjustment of the illuminance setting value from the input unit 13. This input is, for example, a touch input to the icon 67 in FIG. 8 .
[0081] After the processes of steps S12 and S13, the user may wish to reset the illuminance setting value. In this case, the user inputs an input for resetting the illuminance setting value from the input unit 13. This input is, for example, a touch input to the icon 68 in FIG. 8 .
[0082] In the process of step S14, the control unit 16 determines whether or not a new illuminance setting value has been input from the change area. For example, in Fig. 7, when the illuminance setting value is changed using the slider bar 66A and a touch input to the confirm button 66B is received by the input unit 13, the control unit 16 determines that a new illuminance setting value has been input from the change area.
[0083] If the control unit 16 determines that the changed illuminance setting value has been input from the change area (step S14: YES), the control unit 16 proceeds to the process of step S15. On the other hand, if the control unit 16 does not determine that the changed illuminance setting value has been input from the change area (step S14: NO), the control unit 16 proceeds to the process of step S17 as shown in FIG.
[0084] In the process of step S15, similar to the process of step S11, the control unit 16 transmits the identification information of the seat 5 selected by the user and the changed illuminance setting value input in the process of step S14 to the server device 20 via the network 2 by the communication unit 11. After transmitting the changed illuminance setting value and the like to the server device 20, the control unit 16 displays a third icon on the display unit 14 in the same or similar manner as the process of step S11.
[0085] After the process of step S15, the server device 20 and the control device 30 each perform the same or similar process as the process described above in relation to the process of step S11. The server device 20 performs the same or similar process as the process described above in relation to the process of step S11 by transmitting a first completion notification or a second completion notification to the terminal device 10 via the network 2 by the communication unit 21.
[0086] In the process of step S16, the control unit 16 receives the first completion notification or the second completion notification from the server device 20 via the network 2 by the communication unit 11 in the same manner as or similar to the process of step S12. The control unit 16 executes the process of step S16 in the same manner as or similar to the process of step S12. After executing the process of step S16, the control unit 16 returns to the process of step S14.
[0087] In the process of step S17 as shown in Fig. 5, the control unit 16 determines whether or not an input for terminating the adjustment of the illuminance setting value has been received by the input unit 13. As described above, if the user considers that the current brightness around the seat 5 is a preferred brightness or if the user wants to set a fixed value for the seat 5, the input for terminating the adjustment of the illuminance setting value is input from the input unit 13. For example, in Fig. 8, when a touch input to icon 67 is received by the input unit 13, the control unit 16 determines that an input for terminating the adjustment of the illuminance setting value has been received.
[0088] If the control unit 16 determines that an input to end the adjustment of the illuminance setting value has been received (step S17: YES), the control unit 16 proceeds to the process of step S19. On the other hand, if the control unit 16 does not determine that an input to end the adjustment of the illuminance setting value has been received (step S17: NO), the control unit 16 proceeds to the process of step S18.
[0089] In the process of step S18, the control unit 16 determines whether or not an input for resetting the illuminance setting value has been received by the input unit 13. As described above, when the user wishes to reset the illuminance setting value, the user inputs the input for resetting the illuminance setting value from the input unit 13. For example, in FIG. 8 , when the input unit 13 receives a touch input on the icon 68, the control unit 16 determines that the input for resetting the illuminance setting value has been received.
[0090] When the control unit 16 determines that an input for resetting the illuminance setting value has been received (step S18: YES), it resets the illuminance setting value. When the control unit 16 resets the illuminance setting value, the control unit 16 may cause the display unit 14 to display a message stating "The set illuminance has been reset." When the control unit 16 resets the illuminance setting value, the control unit 16 returns to the processing of step S3. When the control unit 16 executes the processing from step S3 again, it does not need to execute the processing of steps S4 to S8.
[0091] If the control unit 16 does not determine that an input for resetting the illuminance setting value has been received (step S18: NO), the control unit 16 returns to the processing of step S14.
[0092] In the process of step S19, the control unit 16 causes the display unit 14 to display the question "Have you adjusted the brightness to your liking?". When the user sees this question, he or she considers whether the brightness around the seat 5 has reached his or her preferred brightness. If the user thinks that the brightness around the seat 5 has reached his or her preferred brightness, the user inputs a positive input to the question from the input unit 13. An example of a positive input is "yes." On the other hand, if the user thinks that the brightness around the seat 5 is not his or her preferred brightness, the user inputs a negative input to the question from the input unit 13. An example of a negative input is "no."
[0093] In the process of step S20, the control unit 16 determines whether or not an input in the affirmative to the question displayed in the process of step S19 has been received by the input unit 13. If the control unit 16 receives the input "yes," it determines that an input in the affirmative to the question has been received. On the other hand, if the control unit 16 receives the input "no," it determines that an input in the negative to the question has been received.
[0094] If the control unit 16 determines that a positive input to the question has been received (step S20: YES), the control unit 16 proceeds to the process of step S23. On the other hand, if the control unit 16 determines that a negative input to the question has been received (step S20: NO), the control unit 16 proceeds to the process of step S21.
[0095] In the process of step S21, the control unit 16 causes the display unit 14 to display the question "Do you want to set a fixed value?" If the user wants to set a fixed value for the seat 5, the user inputs a positive input to the question, for example, "Yes," from the input unit 13. If the user does not want to set a fixed value for the seat 5, the user inputs a negative input to the question, for example, "No," from the input unit 13.
[0096] In the process of step S22, the control unit 16 determines whether or not an input in the affirmative in response to the question displayed in the process of step S21 has been received by the input unit 13. If the control unit 16 determines that an input in the affirmative in response to the question has been received (step S22: YES), the control unit 16 proceeds to the process of step S24 as shown in Fig. 6. On the other hand, if the control unit 16 determines that an input in the negative in response to the question has been received (step S22: NO), the control unit 16 proceeds to the process of step S23.
[0097] In the process of step S23, the control unit 16 transmits the operation log to the server device 20 via the network 2 using the communication unit 11. The operation log is a record of operations performed when the user performed lighting-related settings for the seat 5. This operation log includes, for example, the user's identification information, the identification information of the seat 5 selected by the user, the type of second icon selected by the user, and information on the final illuminance setting value.
[0098] By executing the process of step S23, in the server device 20, the control unit 23 receives the operation log from the terminal device 10 via the network 2 through the communication unit 21. The control unit 23 stores the received operation log in the storage unit 22.
[0099] 6, the control unit 16 causes the display unit 14 to display a third image. The third image includes an input area for inputting a fixed value.
[0100] For example, controller 16 causes display unit 14 to display a third image 70 as shown in Fig. 9. In third image 70, the input area for inputting a fixed value includes a slider bar 71A and a confirm button 71B. In Fig. 9, the fixed value can be set as a percentage of the maximum illumination light output value of lighting device 40.
[0101] After the process of step S24, the user inputs a fixed value from the input area of the third image. For example, in Fig. 9, the user first adjusts the fixed value by touching the slider bar 71A. Next, the user inputs the fixed value adjusted by the slider bar 71A by touching the confirm button 71B.
[0102] In the process of step S25, the control unit 16 determines whether or not a fixed value has been input. For example, in Fig. 9, when the input unit 13 receives a touch input to the confirm button 71B, the control unit 16 determines that a fixed value has been input.
[0103] If the control unit 16 determines that a fixed value has been input (step S25: YES), it acquires the fixed value. For example, in FIG. 9, the control unit 16 acquires the fixed value via the slider bar 71A. When the control unit 16 acquires the fixed value, it proceeds to the processing of step S26. On the other hand, if the control unit 16 determines that a fixed value has not been input (step S25: NO), it proceeds to the processing of step S28.
[0104] In the process of step S26, the control unit 16 transmits the identification information of the seat 5 selected by the user and the fixed value to the server device 20 via the network 2 by the communication unit 11, in the same manner as or similar to the process of step S11. After transmitting the fixed value, the control unit 16 displays a third icon on the display unit 14, in the same manner as or similar to the process of step S11.
[0105] After processing step S26, server device 20 receives the identification information and fixed value of seat 5 from terminal device 10 in the same or similar manner as described above, and then transmits the identification information and fixed value of seat 5 to control device 30. Control device 30 receives the identification information and fixed value of seat 5 from server device 20 in the same or similar manner as described above. Upon receiving this information, control device 30 identifies seat 5 selected by the user in the same or similar manner as described above. Control device 30 controls lighting fixtures 40 so that the illumination light output values of lighting fixtures 40 corresponding to area 6 of the identified seat 5 become the fixed value. When the illumination light output values of lighting fixtures 40 corresponding to area 6 become the fixed value, control device 30 transmits a third completion notification to server device 20 via network 2. The third completion notification is a notification indicating that the illumination light output values of lighting fixtures 40 corresponding to area 6 have become the fixed value. Here, in the same or similar manner as described above, there may be cases where the illumination light output values of lighting fixtures 40 corresponding to area 6 of the identified seat 5 have already become the fixed value, even if the illumination light output values of lighting fixtures 40 are not changed. In this case, control device 30 transmits a fourth completion notification to server device 20 via network 2, instead of the third completion notification. The fourth completion notification is a notification indicating that the illumination light output values of lighting devices 40 corresponding to area 6 have already been set to fixed values, even if the illumination light output values of lighting devices 40 are not changed. In server device 20, control unit 23 receives the third completion notification or the fourth completion notification from control device 30 via network 2 via communication unit 21. Control unit 23 transmits the received third completion notification or the fourth completion notification to terminal device 10 via network 2 via communication unit 21.
[0106] In the process of step S27, the control unit 16 receives a third completion notification or a fourth completion notification from the server device 20 via the network 2 through the communication unit 11. When the control unit 16 receives the third completion notification or the fourth completion notification, it erases the displayed third icon from the display unit 14. By erasing the displayed third icon, the user can know that the lighting for the seat 5 selected by the user has become a fixed value.
[0107] In the process of step S27, controller 16 may receive a fourth completion notification instead of the third completion notification. In this case, controller 16 may cause display unit 14 to display a notification indicating that the illumination light output values of lighting devices 40 in area 6 have already been set to the illuminance setting values, even though the illumination light output values of lighting devices 40 have not been changed. With this configuration, the user can know, in the same or similar manner as in the process of step S12, that the illumination light output values of lighting devices 40 corresponding to area 6 have already been set to the fixed value, even though the illumination light output values of lighting devices 40 have not been changed.
[0108] After the process of step S27, the user considers whether the current brightness around the seat 5 is the brightness that the user prefers.
[0109] When the user considers that the current brightness around the seat 5 is the desired brightness, the user inputs an input to end the adjustment of the fixed value from the input unit 13. This input is, for example, a touch input to the icon 72 in FIG.
[0110] If the user thinks that the current brightness around the seat 5 is not the desired brightness, the user re-inputs the fixed value. For example, in Fig. 9, the user adjusts the fixed value again using the slider bar 71A, and then touches the confirm button 71B.
[0111] After the process of step S7, the user may wish to reset the fixed value. In this case, the user inputs an input for resetting the fixed value from the input unit 13. For example, in FIG. 9 , this input is a touch input to the icon 73.
[0112] In the process of step S28, the control unit 16 determines whether or not an input for terminating the adjustment of the fixed value has been received by the input unit 13. For example, in Fig. 9, when a touch input to the icon 72 has been received by the input unit 13, the control unit 16 determines that an input for terminating the adjustment of the fixed value has been received.
[0113] If the control unit 16 determines that an input to end the adjustment of the fixed value has been received (step S28: YES), the control unit 16 proceeds to the process of step S30. On the other hand, if the control unit 16 does not determine that an input to end the adjustment of the fixed value has been received (step S28: NO), the control unit 16 proceeds to the process of step S29.
[0114] In the process of step S29, the control unit 16 determines whether or not an input for resetting the fixed value has been received by the input unit 13. For example, in Fig. 9, when a touch input to the icon 73 has been received by the input unit 13, the control unit 16 determines that an input for resetting the fixed value has been received.
[0115] When the control unit 16 determines that an input for resetting the fixed value has been received (step S29: YES), it resets the fixed value. When the control unit 16 resets the fixed value, it may cause the display unit 14 to display a message stating "The fixed value has been reset." When the control unit 16 resets the fixed value, it returns to the processing of step S3. When the control unit 16 executes the processing from step S3 again, it does not need to execute the processing of steps S4 to S8. On the other hand, when the control unit 16 does not determine that an input for resetting the fixed value has been received (step S29: NO), it returns to the processing of step S25.
[0116] In the process of step S30, the control unit 16 transmits the operation log to the server device 20 via the network 2 by the communication unit 11. As described above, the operation log is a record of operations performed when the user performed lighting-related settings for the seat 5. This operation log includes the user's identification information, the identification information of the seat 5 selected by the user, and information on the fixed value that was finally set.
[0117] By executing the process of step S30, in the server device 20, the control unit 23 receives the operation log from the terminal device 10 via the network 2 through the communication unit 21. The control unit 23 stores the received operation log in the storage unit 22.
[0118] Here, it has been described that the user holds the terminal device 10 over the RFID tag 7 placed on the seat 5 before the process of step S1 described above. However, instead of holding the terminal device 10 over the RFID tag 7, the user may input URL information for accessing a predetermined website from the input unit 13 of the terminal device 10. The predetermined website may accept the selection of a seat 5 and configure lighting settings for the selected seat 5. The predetermined website may be capable of providing a first image and a second image to the terminal device 10. In this case, in the process of step S1, the control unit 16 may accept URL information for accessing the predetermined website from the input unit 13. Upon accepting the URL information, the control unit 16 may access the predetermined website. In the process of step S1 described above, it has been described that the control unit 16 identifies the seat 5 selected by the user using the identification information of the seat 5 read from the RFID tag 7. However, when accessing the predetermined website, the control unit 16 does not need to identify the seat 5 selected by the user in the process of step S1. In this case, in the first image that is initially displayed in the processing of step S2, all of the first icons may be displayed in a manner that is similar to when no seat 5 is selected.
[0119] Furthermore, if an identification image is attached to the seat 5, the user may capture an image of the identification image attached to the selected seat 5 using the camera 17 of the terminal device 10 before the processing of step S1 described above. In this case, in the processing of step S1, the control unit 16 of the terminal device 10 identifies the seat 5 selected by the user by reading information of the identification image captured by the camera 17. Furthermore, in the processing of step S1, if the information read from the identification image in the processing of step S1 includes information on usage authority, the control unit 16 determines that usage authority has been set for the selected seat 5.
[0120] Furthermore, in the process of step S9 described above, control unit 16 may receive, via input unit 13, an input to turn off or on lighting device 40 that emits illumination light to area 6 of selected seat 5. This input may be, for example, a touch input on icon 69 as shown in FIG. 8 . Control unit 16 may switch between turning off and on lighting device 40 each time touch input on icon 69 is received via input unit 13. Icon 69 is, for example, an illustration of a light bulb. When control unit 16 receives an input to turn off or on lighting device 40, control unit 16 may transmit a control signal to turn off or on lighting device 40 that emits illumination light to area 6 to server device 20 via network 2 via communication unit 11. In server device 20, control unit 23 may receive this control signal from terminal device 10 via network 2 via communication unit 21. When control unit 23 receives this control signal, it may transmit a control signal to control device 30 via network 2 using communication unit 21 to turn on or off lighting device 40 that emits illumination light to area 6. When control device 30 receives this control signal from server device 20 via network 2, it may turn on or off lighting device 40 based on the control signal.
[0121] Furthermore, when the processing of steps S9 to S16 described above is repeatedly executed, control unit 16 may change the color of icon 69 as shown in FIG. 8 depending on the magnitude of the illuminance setting value. For example, control unit 16 may make the color of icon 69 darker as the illuminance setting value increases. Control unit 16 may make the color of icon 69 lighter as the illuminance setting value decreases. Furthermore, while lighting device 40 is turned on, control unit 16 may make the color of icon 69 a warm color. While lighting device 40 is turned off, control unit 16 may make the color of icon 69 white or transparent.
[0122] The processes of steps S7 and S8 may be executed before the processes of steps S5 and S6. In this case, if the control unit 16 determines that the user's position is not a predetermined distance or more from the position of the seat 5 (step S8: NO), the control unit 16 proceeds to the process of step S5. If the control unit 16 determines that the user has the authority to use the selected seat 5 (step S6: YES), the control unit 16 proceeds to the process of step S9.
[0123] Furthermore, in the process of step S9 described above, the control unit 16 may cause the display unit 14 to display a notice indicating that input to the change area is not possible unless the user selects one of the second icons. For example, in Fig. 8, the control unit 16 may cause the display unit 14 to display a notice indicating that input to the slider bar 66A is not possible unless the user selects one of the second icons 61 to 65.
[0124] Furthermore, in the processing of step S9 described above, the control unit 16 may display a recommended illuminance value, described later, on the display unit 14. In this case, in the server device 20, the control unit 23 may transmit the recommended illuminance value generated in the processing of step S24 described later to the terminal device 10 via the network 2 via the communication unit 21 before the processing of step S9. The second image displayed in the processing of step S9 may include the recommended illuminance value. When the recommended illuminance value is displayed in the processing of step S9, the control unit 16 may accept a selection of the recommended illuminance value instead of a touch input to the second icon in the processing of step S10. In this case, the control unit 16 acquires the recommended illuminance value whose selection has been accepted as the illuminance setting value. When the selection of the recommended illuminance value has been accepted in the processing of step S10, the information of the operation log transmitted in the processing of step S23 includes information on the recommended illuminance value whose selection has been accepted.
[0125] Furthermore, in the process of step S24 described above, control unit 16 may receive, via input unit 13, an input to turn off or on lighting device 40 that emits illumination light to area 6 of selected seat 5, in a manner similar to or identical to the process of step S9 described above. This input may be, for example, a touch input to icon 74 as shown in FIG. 9 . Icon 74 is, for example, an illustration of a light bulb. Control unit 16 may switch lighting device 40 between on and off each time touch input to icon 74 is received via input unit 13. Upon receiving this input, control unit 16 may transmit, via communication unit 11, a control signal to server device 20 via network 2, in a manner similar to or identical to the process of step S9 described above. After transmitting the control signal, server device 20 and control device 30 may execute a process similar to or identical to the process of step S9 described above.
[0126] Furthermore, when the processing of steps S24 to S27 described above is repeatedly executed, controller 16 may change the color of icon 74 as shown in FIG. 9 depending on the magnitude of the fixed value. For example, controller 16 may make the color of icon 74 darker as the fixed value increases. Controller 16 may make the color of icon 74 lighter as the fixed value decreases. Furthermore, while lighting device 40 is turned on, controller 16 may make the color of icon 74 a warm color. While lighting device 40 is turned off, controller 16 may make the color of icon 74 white or transparent.
[0127] In the process of step S29 described above, if the control unit 16 determines that an input for resetting the fixed value has been received (step S29: YES), the control unit 16 returns to the process of step S3. However, if the control unit 16 determines that an input for resetting the fixed value has been received (step S29: YES), the control unit 16 may reset the fixed value and then return to the process of step S25.
[0128] During the processing of steps S1 to S30 described above, a switch may be pressed to turn off all lighting fixtures 40 in room 4. This switch may be located, for example, on a wall of room 4. When the switch to turn off all lighting fixtures 40 in room 4 is pressed, lighting fixtures 40 may be turned off based on the operation of the switch, regardless of the processing of steps S1 to S30 described above.
[0129] 10 is a flowchart showing an example of the procedure of the setting process executed by the server device 20 shown in FIG. 1. For example, the control unit 23 starts the process of step S41 when a predetermined amount of operation logs is accumulated in the storage unit 22. The predetermined amount may be set based on the frequency of use of the setting app by the user.
[0130] In the process of step S41, the control unit 23 acquires multiple operation logs of a predetermined user from the storage unit 22. The predetermined user may be any user. The control unit 23 may identify the predetermined user based on user identification information included in the operation logs.
[0131] In the process of step S42, the control unit 23 refers to the multiple operation logs acquired in the process of step S41 and identifies the selection frequency at which each recommended illuminance value, described below, was selected. These recommended illuminance values were generated in the previous process of step S46. When the control unit 16 executes the setting process shown in FIG. 10 for a predetermined user for the first time, the control unit 16 may proceed to the process of step S45 without executing the processes of steps S42 to S44. The selection frequency is the frequency at which the predetermined user selected a recommended illuminance value in the process of step S10 described above. The selection frequency is, for example, the number of selections within a predetermined period. The predetermined period may be set based on the frequency at which the setting process shown in FIGS. 3 to 6 is executed.
[0132] In the process of step S43, the control unit 23 determines whether there is a recommended illuminance value whose selection frequency is equal to or less than a set value. The set value may be set based on the number of recommended illuminance values that can be displayed on the display unit 14 of the terminal device 10 in the process of step S9 described above. If the selection frequency is given as the number of selections, the set value may be given as the number of times.
[0133] If the control unit 23 determines that a recommended illuminance value whose selection frequency is equal to or less than the set value exists (step S43: YES), the control unit 23 proceeds to the process of step S44. On the other hand, if the control unit 23 determines that a recommended illuminance value whose selection frequency is equal to or less than the set value does not exist (step S43: NO), the control unit 23 ends the setting process as shown in FIG.
[0134] In the process of step S44, the control unit 23 determines to delete the recommended illuminance values whose selection frequency is equal to or less than the set value.
[0135] In the processing of step S45, the control unit 23 refers to the multiple operation logs acquired in the processing of step S41, and identifies the illuminance setting value that has been set the most frequently among the multiple illuminance setting values that were finally set.
[0136] In the process of step S46, the control unit 23 generates a recommended illuminance value based on the illuminance setting value that was set the most frequently, as identified in step S45. The recommended illuminance value is an illuminance recommended to the user when the user sets the illuminance for the seat 5 using the terminal device 10. The generated recommended illuminance value may be recommended to the user by being displayed on the display unit 14 in the process of step S9 described above. For example, the recommended illuminance value may be recommended to the user by being displayed together with the second image 60 as shown in FIG. 8. The control unit 23 may set the illuminance setting value that was set the most frequently as the recommended illuminance value. Alternatively, the control unit 23 may generate multiple recommended illuminance values based on the illuminance setting value that was set the most frequently. In this case, the multiple recommended illuminance values may include an illuminance equal to the illuminance setting value, an illuminance higher than the illuminance setting value, and an illuminance lower than the illuminance setting value. If the recommended illuminance value is higher than the illuminance setting value, it may be higher than the illuminance setting value by a first value. If the recommended illuminance is lower than the set illuminance, the recommended illuminance may be lower by a second value. The first and second values may be set based on the range of illuminance that can be adjusted by lighting device 40. The first and second values may be the same or different.
[0137] As described above, the setting method according to this embodiment includes the terminal device 10 accepting the selection of at least one seat 5 from among a plurality of seats 5 as a plurality of preset setting positions. Furthermore, the setting method includes the terminal device 10 accepting lighting settings for the at least one seat 5 for which the selection has been accepted. With this configuration, the user can select the seat 5 they wish to use and individually configure lighting settings for the selected seat 5. Furthermore, when the user selects multiple seats 5, the user can collectively configure lighting settings for the multiple seats 5.
[0138] Therefore, according to this embodiment, it is possible to improve convenience for the user.
[0139] Furthermore, the setting method according to this embodiment may include the terminal device 10 displaying a first image including a plurality of first icons corresponding to a plurality of seats 5, respectively. Furthermore, the setting method may include the terminal device 10 accepting the selection of at least one first icon from the number of first icons, thereby accepting the selection of at least one seat 5. With this configuration, the user can select the seat 5 they want to use by, for example, touching one of the first icons 51A to 51L as shown in FIG. 7. This further improves user convenience.
[0140] The setting method according to the present embodiment may further include terminal device 10 accepting a setting of an illuminance setting value as a setting related to lighting for seat 5. As described above, when an illuminance setting value is set for seat 5, lighting devices 40 are controlled so that the illuminance of area 6 of seat 5 becomes equal to the illuminance setting value. Setting an illuminance setting value for seat 5 in this manner can reduce power consumption, as described above.
[0141] The setting method according to the present embodiment may further include the terminal device 10 displaying a second image including a plurality of second icons, each of which is associated with an illuminance. The setting method may further include the terminal device 10 acquiring, as an illuminance setting value, the illuminance associated with the second icon whose selection has been accepted. With this configuration, the user can set the illuminance setting value by, for example, touching any of the second icons 61 to 64 as shown in FIG. 8.
[0142] In the setting method according to the present embodiment, the second icon may be associated with a work mode and an illuminance recommended for the work mode. With this configuration, the user can select an illuminance setting value to be set for the seat 5, taking into consideration the work to be performed at the seat 5.
[0143] Furthermore, the setting method according to the present embodiment may include, after transmitting the illuminance setting value, the terminal device 10 displaying a third icon indicating that the lighting for the selected seat 5 is being changed. By displaying such a third icon, the user can know that the lighting for the seat 5 selected by the user is being changed.
[0144] The setting method according to this embodiment may further include terminal device 10 receiving a second completion notification instead of the first completion notification. The setting method may further include terminal device 10 displaying a notification after receiving the second completion notification indicating that the illumination output value of lighting device 40 has not been changed but the illuminance of area 6 has already been set to the illuminance setting value. As described above, if the illumination output value of lighting device 40 has not been changed, the user may believe that the illuminance setting value for seat 5 has not been set correctly. Even in such a case, the display of the notification allows the user to know that the illumination output value of lighting device 40 has not been changed but the illuminance of area 6 has already been set to the illuminance setting value.
[0145] In addition, in the setting method according to this embodiment, the second image may include a change area for accepting changes to the illuminance setting value. For example, the second image 60 shown in FIG. 8 includes a slider bar 66A and a confirm button 66B as the change area. The existence of such a change area allows the user to fine-tune the illuminance setting value. This further improves user convenience.
[0146] Furthermore, the setting method according to the present embodiment may further include, upon receiving selection of at least one seat 5, the terminal device determining whether or not use authorization has been set for the at least one seat 5 for which selection has been received. The setting method may further include, upon determining that use authorization has been set for the seat 5, the terminal device 10 determining whether or not the user has use authorization for the seat 5. The setting method may further include, upon determining that the user does not have use authorization for the seat 5, the terminal device 10 not permitting the user to set lighting for the seat 5. With this configuration, for example, when the room 4 is used as an office, department, or the like, security for use of the seats 5 can be ensured.
[0147] The setting method according to the present embodiment may further include the terminal device 10 acquiring user location information. The setting method may further include the terminal device 10 not permitting the user to configure lighting settings for the seat 5 when it is determined that the user's location is a predetermined distance or more away from the seat 5. This configuration prevents the user from remotely selecting the seat 5 and configuring lighting settings. Therefore, for example, when the room 4 is used as an office or a department, security for use of the seat 5 can be ensured.
[0148] The setting method according to the present embodiment may further include terminal device 10 accepting a fixed value as a lighting setting. As described above, when the fixed value is set, the illumination light output value of lighting devices 40 corresponding to area 6 is fixed to the fixed value. This configuration allows for stable lighting in area 6.
[0149] The setting method according to the present embodiment may further include the terminal device 10 transmitting an operation log to the server device 20. The setting method may further include the server device 20 generating a recommended illuminance value to be recommended to the user based on the operation log. Generating the recommended illuminance value can further improve user convenience.
[0150] In this embodiment, different terminal devices 10 may execute the processes shown in Figures 3 to 6 to set illuminance settings and fixed values for different seats 5. In this case, the fixed values take priority over the illuminance settings to control the lighting devices 40, etc. This example will be described below. Hereinafter, the two different terminal devices 10 will be referred to as "terminal device 10A" and "terminal device 10B," respectively.
[0151] Example 1: Terminal device 10A accepts the selection of seat 5 and further accepts the setting of an illuminance setting value for seat 5 whose selection has been accepted. Seat 5 whose selection has been accepted by terminal device 10A is described as "first seat." Area 6 of seat 1 is described as "first area." When the illuminance setting value is set for seat 1, at least one lighting device 40 is controlled so that the illuminance of area 1 falls within the above-mentioned setting range that includes the illuminance setting value.
[0152] Next, terminal device 10A or terminal device 10B, which is different from terminal device 10A, accepts the selection of a seat 5 other than the first seat and accepts the setting of a fixed value for the other seat 5 for which the selection was accepted. The seat 5 other than the first seat for which the selection was accepted by terminal device 10A or terminal device 10B is described as the "second seat." The area 6 of the second seat is described as the "second area." When the fixed value is set after the illuminance setting value is set, the illumination light output value of lighting devices 40 corresponding to the second area is controlled to the fixed value, regardless of the illuminance of the first area. In other words, lighting devices 40 and the like are controlled with the fixed value taking priority over the illuminance setting value.
[0153] After the illumination light output value of lighting fixtures 40 corresponding to the second area is controlled to a fixed value, lighting fixtures 40 may be controlled again based on the detection result of illuminance sensor 41 so that the illuminance of the first area falls within the set range. With this configuration, even if the illuminance of the first area changes due to the illumination light from lighting fixtures 40 in the second area, the illuminance of the first area can be set to the set illuminance value.
[0154] <Example 2> Terminal device 10A accepts the selection of seat 5, and further accepts the setting of an illuminance setting value for seat 5 whose selection has been accepted. Seat 5 whose selection has been accepted by terminal device 10A is described as "seat 3." Area 6 of seat 3 is described as "area 3." The illuminance setting value set for seat 3 is described as "first illuminance setting value." Once the first illuminance setting value is set, the group of lighting devices is controlled so that the illuminance of area 3 is within the above-mentioned setting range that includes the first illuminance setting value.
[0155] Next, terminal device 10A accepts the setting of a fixed value for seat 3. When the fixed value is set after the first illuminance setting value is set, the output value of the illumination light from the first lighting device corresponding to area 3 is controlled to be the fixed value regardless of the illuminance of area 3.
[0156] Next, terminal device 10A or terminal device 10B, which is different from terminal device 10A, accepts the selection of seat 5 other than seat 3 and accepts the setting of an illuminance setting value for the other seat. The seat other than seat 3, the selection of which is accepted by terminal device 10A or terminal device 10B, is described as "seat 4." Area 6 of seat 4 is described as "area 4." The illuminance setting value set for seat 4 is described as "second illuminance setting value." When the second illuminance setting value is set, a second lighting fixture other than the first lighting fixture in the group of lighting fixtures is controlled so that the illuminance of area 4 becomes the second illuminance setting value.
[0157] While the present disclosure has been described based on various drawings and examples, it should be noted that those skilled in the art would easily be able to make various modifications and alterations based on the present disclosure. Therefore, it should be noted that these modifications and alterations are within the scope of the present disclosure. For example, the functions included in each functional unit can be rearranged so as not to cause logical inconsistencies. Multiple functional units may be combined into one or divided. The above-described embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited to faithful implementation of each of the described embodiments, but may be implemented by combining features or omitting some features as appropriate. In other words, those skilled in the art can make various modifications and alterations to the contents of the present disclosure based on the present disclosure. Therefore, these modifications and alterations are within the scope of the present disclosure. For example, in each embodiment, each functional unit, each means, or each step can be added to other embodiments so as not to cause logical inconsistencies, or can be replaced with each functional unit, each means, or each step of other embodiments. Furthermore, in each embodiment, multiple functional units, each means, or each step can be combined into one or divided. Furthermore, each of the above-described embodiments of the present disclosure is not limited to being implemented faithfully according to each of the described embodiments, but can also be implemented by combining each feature or omitting some of them as appropriate.
[0158] For example, in the above-described embodiment, the plurality of preset setting positions are described as being the positions of a plurality of seats 5. However, the plurality of setting positions are not limited to being the positions of a plurality of seats 5, as long as they are positions that have been preset. As another example, the plurality of setting positions may be the positions of a plurality of desks arranged in a room 4 or the like, or the positions of a plurality of areas that are set up by dividing the room 4 or the like by partitions.
[0159] For example, in the above-described embodiment, the user may input the first illuminance setting value or the second illuminance setting value that the user prefers through the input unit 13 of the terminal device 10. In this case, the control unit 16 may cause the display unit 14 to appropriately display the first illuminance setting value or the second illuminance setting value that the user prefers in response to a user operation received by the input unit 13 during the execution of the processes of steps S1 to S30.
[0160] For example, in the server device 20, the control unit 23 may recommend the recommended illuminance value generated for a predetermined user to another user. In this case, the control unit 23 may recommend the recommended illuminance value generated for the predetermined user to the other user by transmitting the recommended illuminance value to the terminal device 10 of the other user via the network 2 by the communication unit 21.
[0161] For example, in the server device 20, the control unit 23 may estimate the illuminance preferred by the specified user by analyzing the operation log of the specified user. After estimating the illuminance preferred by the specified user, the control unit 23 may identify, from among the plurality of seats 5 in the room 4, a seat 5 that achieves an illuminance close to the specified user's preferred illuminance only with natural light entering the area 6. The control unit 23 may transmit the identified seat 5 to the terminal device 10 as a seat 5 recommended to the user. In this case, in the terminal device 10, the control unit 16 may display the seat 5 recommended to the user on the display unit 14 in the processing of step S1. With this configuration, the user is more likely to select the seat 5 recommended by the server device 20. By the user selecting the seat 5 recommended by the server device 20, power consumption can be reduced.
[0162] For example, an embodiment is also possible in which a general-purpose computer functions as the terminal device 10 or the server device 20 according to the above-described embodiments. Specifically, a program describing the processing content for realizing each function of the terminal device 10 or the server device 20 according to the above-described embodiments is stored in the memory of the general-purpose computer, and the program is read and executed by a processor. Therefore, the present disclosure can also be realized as a program executable by a processor, or a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing the program.
