[0002] Installing curtains in vehicles has various benefits, such as blocking heat from sunlight coming from the side, protecting the interior of the vehicle from external light, and improving the efficiency of air conditioning through improved insulation.
[0003] Known vehicle-mounted curtains include those that use suction cups or magnets. While these can be used on a variety of vehicle models, they have the drawback of being dangerous when used while driving, as they can impair visibility due to the fabric coming into direct contact with the window, and they can easily get caught in the window when it is opened or closed.
[0004] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2004-106622
[0005] In Patent Document 1, an assist grip is provided around the entire roof, making it possible to install curtains. This prevents the curtains from coming into direct contact with the window and increases the strength of the installation, but the installation itself is difficult as it is only compatible with a limited number of vehicle models.
[0006] In view of the above problems, the present invention aims to provide a curtain mounting fixture for vehicles that can be used with a variety of vehicle models, that prevents the curtain from hitting the window, and that can be easily mounted.
[0007] To achieve the above object, the present invention provides a curtain mounting fixture for vehicles that includes a fastener that is fixed to the assist grip of a vehicle and a rail that can hang a curtain, and the rail has a plurality of connecting portions to which the fasteners can be connected. This makes it possible to provide a curtain mounting fixture that is compatible with a variety of vehicle models, prevents the curtain from hitting the window, and allows for easy and strong mounting.
[0008] The present invention also provides a vehicle equipped with a curtain mounting fixture that includes a fastener that is fixed to the vehicle's assist grip and a rail that can hang a curtain, the rail having a plurality of connectors to which the fasteners can be connected. [0012] Below, with reference to the drawings, a curtain mounting device X for mounting on a vehicle V according to each embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail, in the order of the configuration of the embodiment, the method of implementation, and other embodiments. Note that the embodiment shown below is an example of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited to the following embodiments. Furthermore, the word "approximately" in the application documents is a concept that means that the shape that follows is chamfered or rounded, and that the elements that make up the shape are deformed or changed in length within a range that does not impair the purpose of the configuration.
[0013] In this embodiment, a vehicle V includes a vehicle body V0, an assist grip V1 that is one of the interior fittings provided on the vehicle body V0 and is disposed on or near the roof and that a user holds for stability, and a vehicle window V2 below the assist grip V1.
[0014] 1, the assist grip V1 has a grip body V11 that is held by the user and a vehicle connection part V12 that connects the grip body V11 to the vehicle body V0. The vehicle connection part V12 may also include a rotatable storage rotation part V13. The storage rotation part V13 is provided at the end of the vehicle connection part V12 and biases the vehicle connection part V12 so that the grip body V11 rotates toward the vehicle body V0, thereby enabling the assist grip V1 to be stored when not in use.
[0015] First Embodiment As shown in Fig. 1, the curtain mounting device X includes at least two fastening parts 1 for fixing to an assist grip V1, and a rail part 2 from which a curtain can be hung. The fastening parts 1 and the rail part 2 are connected to each other via a connecting part 3.
[0016] The rail portion 2 also allows the attachment of a curtain 5 via a plurality of runners 4, and the degree to which the curtain 5 is opened or closed can be adjusted by sliding the runners 4 on the rail portion 2.
[0017] When the assist grip V1 has a storage rotation part V13, the curtain mounting device X further includes a holding part 6 for holding the assist grip V1 at a predetermined position away from the vehicle body V0. This allows stable mounting even on vehicles equipped with a storage rotation part V13.
[0018] 2 , the fastening portion 1 has a fastening portion main body 11 that can contact and be fixed to the assist grip V1, and a hanging portion 12 that extends below the fastening portion main body 11. The hanging portion 12 has a fastening connection portion 31 as part of the connection portion 3 for connecting to the rail portion 2.
[0019] The fastening portion body 11 is a thin plate member curved in a substantially semicircular shape, and supports the assist grip V1 on its inner circumferential surface. The width of this inner circumferential surface is approximately the same as or slightly smaller than the width of the handle of the assist grip V1, and the inner height is set higher than the width of the handle of the assist grip V1, so that it can easily be hung on the assist grip V1 and stably support it. The fastening portion body 11 is rigid, but can be bent and deformed in a direction that widens the inner circumferential surface. The width of the inner circumferential surface is widened to a width greater than the width of the assist grip V1, and in this widened state, it clamps and supports the assist grip V1. This increases the fixing strength of the fastening portion 1. In addition, a friction portion 111 is provided on the inner circumferential surface of the fastening portion body 11 to increase the frictional force between the fastening portion body 11 and the assist grip V1, preventing the rail portion 2 from swinging due to the rocking of the vehicle V.
[0020] In this embodiment, the friction portion 111 is an uneven surface with a plurality of protrusions extending perpendicular to the attachment direction, and the protrusions are arranged at equal intervals in the attachment direction. When removing the fastener 1, the protrusions of the friction portion 111 are clamped and held by the assist grip V1, preventing it from accidentally coming off. Alternatively, the friction portion 111 may be configured by attaching a thin plate material with high friction force, such as rubber, to the inner surface of the fastener main body 11.
[0021] The hanging part 12 is a part that extends from the end face of the fastening part main body 11, and hangs and supports the rail part 2. In this embodiment, the hanging part 12 is made up of a flat plate material 121 on one side and a curved material 122 on the other side, and the flat plate material 121 is longer than the curved material 122, making it easier for the user to hold the flat plate material 121 and hang it on the assist grip V1.
[0022] The flat plate material 121 is higher than the fastening portion main body 11, and has a fastening connection portion 31 at the bottom for connecting the fastening portion 1 and the rail portion 2.
[0023] The curved member 122 is a thin plate that curves from the end of the fastening body 11 in the opposite direction to the curve of the fastening body 11, and guides the assist grip V1 to the inner surface of the fastening body 11, making it easier to attach.
[0024] The fastening portion 1 may be configured to have a clip capable of clamping the assist grip V1 and a hanging portion 12 extending below the clip. The clip may also be a clamp or a cable tie. In other words, the fastening portion 1 may be anything that can be temporarily fixed to the assist grip V1 and has a fastening connection portion 31.
[0025] As shown in Figure 3, the rail portion 2 includes a connecting plate 21 that is connected to the fastening portion 1 by the connecting portion 3, a sliding plate 22 against which the runner 4 abuts and slides, and an end plate 23 that is provided on the end surface of the sliding plate 22 and prevents the runner 4 from unintentionally falling off.
[0026] The connecting plate 21 is a long thin plate that is arranged parallel to the flat plate material 121 of the fastening part 1 when connected to the fastening part 1. As will be described later, the connecting plate 21 has rail connecting parts 32 arranged at equal intervals in the longitudinal direction, allowing it to be connected to the fastening part 1 at any position of the connecting part 3. This allows the assist grip V1 to be attached appropriately even if the position of the assist grip V1 relative to the window differs depending on the vehicle V.
[0027] The sliding plate 22 is a long, thin plate of the same length as the connecting plate 21, and its widthwise end is joined perpendicularly to the surface of the connecting plate 21 over the entire length. This joining position is away from the widthwise end of the connecting plate 21, and preferably is approximately at the center of the width of the connecting plate 21, with a T-shaped cross section. The two materials may be joined by adhesive bonding or welding, or by integral molding. The width of the sliding plate 22 is slightly shorter than the widthwise length of the runner 4, allowing the runner 4 to slide without interference.
[0028] The sliding plate 22 also has a sliding protrusion 221 that protrudes outward from the edge of the long axis at a position close to the end. The sliding protrusion 221 has a width equal to or greater than the thickness of one of the runners 4, and its protruding height is approximately the same as the difference between the separation length of the runners 4 and the thickness of the connecting plate 21, thereby preventing the runners 4 from accidentally falling off. The distance between the end plate 23 and the sliding protrusion 221 is also set to be at least greater than the thickness of the runners 4, so that the runners 4 can be held between them.
[0029] The end plate 23 is a thin plate provided to cover the longitudinal end of the connecting plate 21 or the sliding plate 22. In this embodiment, the width of the end plate 23 is equal to the width of the connecting plate 21, and the length is equal to the width of the sliding plate 22. Furthermore, the widthwise end of the end plate 23 is connected to the longitudinal end of the sliding plate 22, and the flat surface of the end plate 23 is connected to the longitudinal end of the connecting plate 21. This improves the joining strength between the two materials and prevents the runner 4 from falling off.
[0030] The rail portion 2 may be provided so that its length can be adjusted. For example, the rail portion 2 may be made of two materials, one of which slides and engages with the other, so that it can be fixed at any length.
[0031] The connection part 3 is a part that fixes the fastening part 1 and the rail part 2, and has a fastening connection part 31 provided on the hanging part 12, a rail connection part 32 provided on the connection plate 21, and an auxiliary connection part 33 for connecting the two parts.
[0032] In this embodiment, the fastening connection portion 31 is a hole that penetrates the flat plate material 121 of the hanging part 12. The size of the hole of the fastening connection portion 31 is large enough to allow the auxiliary connection portion 33 to penetrate therethrough. The inner peripheral surface of the fastening connection portion 31 may be treated with an anti-slip coating or may have a female thread to improve the fixing performance of the auxiliary connection portion 33.
[0033] The rail connection parts 32 are holes with substantially the same properties as the fastening connection parts 31, penetrating the surface of the connection plate 21 and arranged in a row at equal intervals in the longitudinal direction. By providing two or more rail connection parts 32 on the rail part 2, the rail part 2 is fixed at two locations and the curtain 5 is prevented from tilting. Furthermore, by providing three or more rail connection parts 32, the user can select the rail connection part 32 to use and adjust the installation position of the curtain. Furthermore, the distance from the sliding plate 22 to the rail connection parts 32 is set to be at least greater than the diameter of the constituent material of the runner, preventing interference between the rail connection parts 32 and the runner.
[0034] The auxiliary connection portion 33 is a member for connecting the fastening connection portion 31 and the rail connection portion 32, and its penetration enhances the attachment strength. In this embodiment, the auxiliary connection portion 33 is an S-shaped hook with one end penetrating the fastening connection portion 31 and the other end penetrating the rail connection portion 32, thereby facilitating attachment and dissipating impacts related to the rail portion 2 without transmitting them to the fastening portion 1. This S-shaped hook is preferably made of metal. Meanwhile, the auxiliary connection portion 33 may be a bolt and thumbscrew, or may be tied with string or wire, which can be firmly fixed. Furthermore, the fastening connection portion 31 may be a bow-shaped member protruding horizontally from the fastening portion 1, and a rod-shaped auxiliary connection portion 33 with approximately the same diameter as this member may be inserted into this member. This limits the direction of removal to one direction and enhances attachment strength.
[0035] 3 and 4, the runner 4 is a member slidably attached on the sliding plate 22. A plurality of runners 4 are provided on the curtain mounting fixture X, and sliding portions 41 that slide while sandwiching the left and right surfaces of the connecting plate 21 and the top and bottom surfaces of the sliding plate 22, and hook portions 42 for hanging and holding the curtain are integrally formed on the same surface.
[0036] The sliding portion 41 is a C-shaped member when viewed from the front, and the maximum length of the inner peripheral surface is longer than the width of the sliding plate 22. The distance between both ends of the member is at least longer than the thickness of the connecting plate 21 and shorter than the width of the sliding plate 22. A portion of the inner peripheral surface of the sliding portion 41 is linear, and this portion faces the surface of the sliding plate 22. Furthermore, the width of the inner peripheral surface of the sliding portion 41 is greater than 1.5 times the thickness of the end plate 23, allowing it to be attached using the method described below.
[0037] The hook portion 42 is a part that is inserted into a curtain hole 51 (described later) to hang the curtain body 50, and is hook-shaped in this embodiment. The end of the hook portion 42 faces the sliding portion 41 to prevent the hanging curtain 5 from easily falling off.
[0038] The curtain 5 is hung from a plurality of runners 4 to block light from entering the interior of the vehicle V. The curtain 5 has a curtain body 50 made of fabric material and curtain holes 51 for attaching the curtain body 50 to the hook portion 42. The diameter of the curtain hole 51 is at least larger than the diameter of the material of the hook portion 42, and the inner peripheral surface is preferably reinforced with grommets or the like. Preferably, the curtain 5 is shorter than the window below the assist grip V1 so as not to obstruct visibility while driving.
[0039] The method of attaching the runner 4 and the curtain 5 is just one example, and a method in which a hole is provided in the sliding portion 41 and a hook of the curtain 5 with a downward opening is inserted into the hole may also be used.
[0040] The holding portion 6 is a member for holding the assist grip V1 in a predetermined position when attaching the curtain mounting device X to the assist grip V1 including the storage rotation portion V13. That is, as shown in Figures 5 and 6, the holding portion 6 holds the grip body V11 in a position away from the vehicle V by using a vehicle pressing portion 61 that presses the vehicle and a grip pressing portion 62 that presses the grip body V11. Note that Figure 5(a) shows a state in which the vehicle pressing portion 61 and the grip pressing portion 62 are connected, and Figure 5(b) shows a state in which they are disassembled. Also, in Figure 6, rotation is limited by the rotation limiting portion 613.
[0041] The vehicle pressing portion 61 has a vehicle pressing body 611 that actually presses the vehicle, a rotation support portion 612 that supports the rotation of the grip pressing portion 62, and a rotation limiting portion 613 that limits the rotation of the grip pressing portion 62 within a predetermined angle.
[0042] The grip pressing portion 62 has a grip clamping portion 621 that clamps and holds the grip body V11, a grip insertion portion 623 that inserts and holds the grip body V11, and a rotating portion 624 that engages with the rotation support portion 612 and is rotatably connected.
[0043] The vehicle pressing body 611 is a plate-like member that abuts against and presses the vehicle V, and the pressing surface is a cushioning member made of rubber, sponge, or the like that is slightly deformable. A rotation support part 612 is provided to protrude from the surface that faces the pressing surface against the vehicle V. In this embodiment, a urethane foam part that presses the vehicle is provided by bonding to a plastic plate that is formed integrally with the rotation support part 612.
[0044] The rotation support part 612 is joined to approximately the center of the surface of the vehicle pressing body 611, and pivotally supports the rotation part 624 away from the surface of the vehicle pressing body 611. In addition, a rotation limiting part 613 is integrally provided at a predetermined position of the rotation support part 612.
[0045] The rotation limiting portion 613 is a protrusion provided on the rotation support portion 612, and interferes with the grip pressing portion 62 to limit the rotation angle of the grip pressing portion 62. In the embodiment, the rotation limiting portion 613 interferes with the portion connecting the grip clamping portion 621 and the rotating portion 624, but the protrusion may be provided so as to directly interfere with the grip pressing portion 62.
[0046] The grip clamping portion 621 is a thin, U-shaped plate member that clamps and holds the assist grip V1, which has a nearly circular cross section, as shown in Figure 6(a). As shown in Figure 6, the grip clamping portion 621 is curved so that it narrows toward the opening, which is approximately 15 mm to 30 mm wide, smaller than the diameter of a typical assist grip V1. The inner circumferential surface of the grip clamping portion 621 near the opening has a grip friction portion 622, which is an uneven surface with multiple protrusions extending perpendicular to the mounting direction, and similar to the friction portion 111, it can clamp and strongly support the assist grip V1.
[0047] The grip insertion portion 623 branches out on the outer circumferential surface near the opening of the grip clamping portion 621, and as shown in Figure 6(b), the thin assist grip V1 is inserted and supported between the grip clamping portion 621 and the grip insertion portion 623. The distance from the start of this branch to the end of the grip insertion portion 623 is longer than the distance from the start of the branch to the end of the grip clamping portion 621, and the grip insertion portion 623 extends outward beyond the opening. This makes it easier to insert the assist grip V1 by sliding it inside the grip insertion portion 623.
[0048] The rotating portion 624 is a portion that protrudes from the outer peripheral surface opposite the opening portion of the grip clamping portion 621, and the end shaft penetrates into the support portion of the rotation support portion 612, allowing it to rotate within the range of the rotation restriction portion 613.
[0049] A method for implementing the present invention will be described in detail below using Figures 1 to 6. The present invention is implemented by a user who installs the curtain mounting fixture. The implementation method shown below is an example, and the implementation method is not limited to this, and the order of the steps may be reversed.
[0050] If the assist grip V1 has the storage rotation portion V13, the user attaches the holding portion 6. The user presses the vehicle pressing portion 61 against the vehicle and holds the grip body V11 in the grip clamping portion 621 or the grip insertion portion 623 while adjusting the angle of the grip pressing portion 62 relative to the assist grip V1 or the vehicle pressing portion 61.
[0051] Next, the user fits the fastening part 1 into the grip body V11. The user hooks the fastening part body 11 onto the grip body V11 and clamps it. Two fastening parts 1 are provided, and each clamps the assist grip V1 at a distance from the other.
[0052] Next, the user connects the fastening portion 1 and the rail portion 2 using the connection portion 3. The user inserts the auxiliary connection portion 33 into the fastening connection portion 31 to connect it, and then inserts the auxiliary connection portion 33 into the rail connection portion 32 to connect it.
[0053] Next, the user attaches the runner 4 to the rail portion 2. As shown in Figure 4, the user inserts the sliding portion 41 of the runner 4 from the top surface of the end plate 23, rotates it toward the sliding plate 22, and then slides it on the sliding plate 22. When the inner peripheral surface of the sliding portion 41 abuts against the sliding protrusion 221, the user slides the runner 4 in the direction of the sliding protrusion 221 and passes over it. This allows the user to easily attach the runner 4 without it accidentally falling off. Furthermore, if the runner 4 located at the end of the curtain 5 does not go beyond the sliding protrusion 221, it becomes easier to hold the curtain 5 in the open state.
[0054] Finally, the user attaches the curtain 5 to the runner 4 by inserting the hook portion 42 into the curtain hole 51. In this manner, the curtain mounting tool X and the curtain 5 can be easily and securely attached to the assist grip V1 of the vehicle V.
[0055] Another embodiment of the curtain body 50 is shown in FIG. 7 . As shown in FIG. 7 , the curtain 5 does not cover the entire vehicle window V2, but only the upper portion. The curtain body 50 has a substantially rectangular portion extending along the rail portion 2 and an extension portion extending downward near one end. The rectangular portion ensures visibility of the vehicle window V2, while the extension portion provides light-blocking properties and a stylish design. The rectangular portion and the extension portion are connected by a smooth curve at their ends. When the curtain body 50 is attached to the curtain fixture X, the lower ends of the rectangular portion and the extension portion are positioned above the lower end of the vehicle window V2 and below the upper end of the vehicle window V2 throughout, thereby ensuring visibility while blocking sunlight.
[0056] Another embodiment of the holding portion 6 is shown in Figure 8. Items already described will be designated by the same reference numerals and will not be described again. The holding portion 6 has a vehicle pressing portion 61 and a grip pressing portion 62. The vehicle pressing portion 61 has a vehicle pressing body 611 and a rotating male screw 614 fixedly connected to the vehicle pressing body 611. The grip pressing portion 62 has a grip insertion portion 623 into which the assist grip V1 can be inserted (fitted) to support it, and a rotating female screw 625 rotatably connected to the grip insertion portion 623 and the rotating male screw 614.
[0057] The rotating male screw 614 is threadedly inserted into the rotating female screw 625, and the overall length can be freely changed by rotating them relative to each other. The rotating female screw 625 and the grip insertion portion 623 are connected to be rotatable around the rotation axis of the screw. The rotating male screw 614 and the rotating female screw 625 may be attached to the opposite members.
[0058] The user follows the procedure below when attaching the holding part 6. The user positions the vehicle pressing body 611 against the vehicle with the assist grip V1 fitted into the grip insertion part 623. Then, the user rotates the rotating female screw 625 to increase the relative length of the rotating female screw 625 that connects with the rotating male screw 614, and uses the holding part 6 like a jack to support the assist grip V1.
[0059] In addition, the rail portion 2 is a rectangular sliding rail with a groove facing downward below the connecting plate 21, and the sliding portion 41 slides with a portion of it fitted into this groove, and may be the same as a general curtain rail.
[0060] The present invention comprises a fastening portion 1 that is fixed to an assist grip V1 of a vehicle V, and a rail portion 2 on which a curtain 5 can be hung, and the rail portion 2 has a plurality of connection portions 3 to which the fastening portion 1 can be connected.
[0061] Preferably, the connection portions 3 are holes provided in the longitudinal direction, penetrating the surface of the rail portion 2. This allows the mounting position to be adjusted in the longitudinal direction of the rail portion 2, making it easy to mount the vehicle to a variety of vehicle models.
[0062] Preferably, the rail portion 2 has a long connecting plate 21 having the connecting portion 3 and a long sliding plate 22 joined to the connecting plate 21, and the connecting plate 21 is joined on the surface of the sliding plate 22. By providing the sliding plate 22 separately from the connecting plate 21 and joining it, it is possible to easily attach the curtain 5 while maintaining strength.
[0063] Preferably, the runner 4 of the curtain 5 has a sliding portion 41 that slides across the rail portion 2. This makes it less likely that the connection portion 3 and the runner 4 will interfere with each other, allowing the curtain 5 to be opened and closed smoothly.
[0064] Preferably, the device further includes a holding portion 6 that holds the assist grip V1 at a predetermined position away from the main body of the vehicle V. This allows the curtain mounting device X to be installed even in vehicles that are equipped with a rotating and retractable assist grip V1.
[0065] Preferably, the holding portion 6 includes a vehicle pressing portion 61 that presses the vehicle, and a grip pressing portion 62 that is rotatably connected to the vehicle pressing portion and presses the assist grip V1. This allows the holding portion 6 to be tensioned, thereby supporting the assist grip V1 in a predetermined position, improving installation performance.
