Abstract
Description
air conditioning equipment
[0001] The present disclosure relates to an air conditioning apparatus provided with packaging material that protects the unit body during transportation.
[0002] Some air conditioning devices are used by fixing the unit body to the installation location with anchor bolts (see, for example, Patent Document 1). With the air conditioning device of Patent Document 1, in order to drill anchor bolt fixing holes in the foundation during installation, workers must temporarily place the air conditioning device on the foundation and mark the hole positions.
[0003] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2005-265238
[0004] However, with the air conditioning apparatus disclosed in Patent Document 1, the air conditioning apparatus must be temporarily placed at the installation location (e.g., foundation) in order to mark the positions of anchor bolt fixing holes. After marking, the air conditioning apparatus must be temporarily moved to another location to drill the anchor bolt fixing holes at the installation location. After drilling the anchor bolt fixing holes at the installation location, the air conditioning apparatus must be placed again at the installation location and fixed. Thus, when installing the air conditioning apparatus of Patent Document 1, the temporary placement is required twice to determine the positions of the anchor bolt fixing holes at the installation location, which takes a long time. In particular, large-capacity air conditioning apparatuses that cannot be moved by hand require a crane to move them, which not only takes time but also requires a large number of workers.
[0005] The present disclosure has been made in light of the above-mentioned problems, and aims to provide an air conditioning apparatus that can shorten installation time and reduce the number of workers required during installation.
[0006] The air conditioning device of the present disclosure is an air conditioning device equipped with packaging material that protects the unit body, which is installed on a foundation using multiple anchor bolts, during transportation before installation, and the packaging material is marked with or has formed thereon the positions of multiple fixing holes that correspond to the intended positions of the multiple anchor bolts.
[0007] According to the air conditioning apparatus of the present disclosure, installation time and the number of workers required during installation can be reduced compared to conventional systems.

[0010] Embodiment 1. Fig. 1 is a schematic perspective view showing a state in which the packaging material 1 has been separated from the unit body 3 in an air conditioning apparatus 100 according to Embodiment 1. Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram showing a method of marking fixing holes 23 for anchor bolts (not shown) on a stand 200 using the packaging material 1 of Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram showing an example of the packaging material 1 used to determine the installation position of the unit body 3 relative to the stand 200 in the air conditioning apparatus 100 according to Embodiment 1.
[0011] The unit body 3 of the air conditioning apparatus 100 shown in FIG. 1 is used by being fixed to a foundation (a stand 200 in FIG. 2 ) with multiple anchor bolts (not shown). The air conditioning apparatus 100 according to the first embodiment is provided with multiple packaging materials that cover the outer surface of the unit body 3 during transportation. These packaging materials are removed when the unit body 3 is installed. Examples of such packaging materials include a support material made of wood or the like that is placed under the unit body 3 and supports the unit body 3, and a cushioning material such as cardboard that protects the sides and top of the unit body 3. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 , in the air conditioning apparatus 100 according to the first embodiment, one of these packaging materials (hereinafter referred to as packaging material 1) is used to determine the installation position of the unit body 3 relative to the stand 200. In FIG. 2 , the stand 200 is composed of two parallel bases 201 and 202.
[0012] In the first embodiment, the packaging material 1 is arranged to cover the side surfaces of the unit body 3 when the air conditioning apparatus 100 is shipped, i.e., when it is transported, and functions as a cushioning material during transport. In the first embodiment, the packaging material 1 is defined as being made of cardboard.
[0013] 1 , the unit body 3 has a housing 30 that is a substantially rectangular parallelepiped extending in the vertical direction, and the packaging material 1 is plate-like and rectangular. When transporting the air conditioning apparatus 100, the packaging material 1 is placed in front of the unit body 3 with its longitudinal direction (arrow D1) aligned vertically, covering the front surface of the housing 30. The packaging material 1 is attached to the unit body 3 by inserting its ends between components of the unit body 3 (for example, between the beams of the housing 30 and a heat exchanger 32, which will be described later). The packaging material 1 may also be attached to the unit body 3 with cable ties (not shown) or the like.
[0014] 2 and 3, the packaging material 1 has indicators, i.e., markings that serve as references when determining the positions to drive in a plurality of anchor bolts (not shown) on the mounting base 200. Here, the indication of an indicator refers to a state in which the indicator is visible, and includes, for example, an indicator being written on the surface of the packaging material 1, and an indicator being formed in the packaging material 1 as a hole, a cut line, a recess, or the like.
[0015] 2 and 3, the packaging material 1 displays, as indicators, at least the positions of a plurality of fixing holes 23 corresponding to the planned positions of a plurality of anchor bolts. The packaging material 1 also displays, as indicators, a bottom shape 22 of the unit main body 3 (see FIG. 1) and a distance 24 from a center 22c of the bottom shape 22. Here, the bottom shape 22 displayed on the packaging material 1 is the shape of the ground surface 33 of the unit main body 3 shown in FIG. 1. The ground surface 33 is the bottom surface of a member of the unit main body 3 that is fixed to the stand 200, such as the base plate of the housing 30, or the legs if legs are provided at the bottom of the housing 30.
[0016] 2 and 3 , four fixing holes 23 are pre-formed in the packaging material 1, and a substantially rectangular bottom shape 22 is depicted on one side of the packaging material 1, with distances 24 from the center 22c of the bottom shape 22 indicated in all directions. The fixing holes 23 are circular. The bottom shape 22 is substantially rectangular and extends in the longitudinal direction of the packaging material 1 (the direction of arrow D1). The bottom shape 22 of the unit body 3 in the packaging material 1 is depicted so that the center of the packaging material 1 coincides with the center 22c of the bottom shape 22, the long sides of the bottom shape 22 are parallel to the long sides 11 and 12 of the packaging material 1, and the short sides of the bottom shape 22 are parallel to the short sides 13 and 14 of the packaging material 1. Four fixing holes 23 corresponding to the four anchor bolts in the packaging material 1 are formed at the four corners of the bottom shape 22 depicted on the packaging material 1.
[0017] As shown in Fig. 2, when determining the installation position of the unit main body 3 (see Fig. 1) relative to the stand 200, the packaging material 1 is placed on the stand 200. In a configuration in which the positions of the multiple fixing holes 23 in the packaging material 1 are indicated by the multiple fixing holes 23 themselves being formed as described above, the planned positions for driving anchor bolts can be marked on the stand 200 via each fixing hole 23 in the packaging material 1. Note that it is also possible to drive anchor bolts into the stand 200 via the packaging material 1 without marking the planned positions for the anchor bolts on the stand 200 in advance, and then remove the packaging material 1 from above.
[0018] In addition, the positions of the multiple fixing holes 23 in the packaging material 1 may be indicated by forming knockout portions at the positions of the multiple fixing holes 23, or by writing the positions of the multiple fixing holes 23.
[0019] In a configuration in which knockout portions are formed in the packaging material 1 at the intended positions of the fixing holes 23, the fixing holes 23 can be formed by punching out the knockout portions. The knockout portions are formed, for example, by providing multiple cut lines or multiple recesses along the outline of the intended positions of the fixing holes 23, or by forming thin-walled portions at the intended positions of the fixing holes 23.
[0020] In this way, by providing a knockout portion at the planned position of the fixing hole 23, the packaging material 1 can protect the unit body 3 with the fixing hole 23 closed during transportation, and after transportation, the fixing hole 23 can be easily formed by punching out the knockout portion.
[0021] Furthermore, when the positions of multiple fixing holes 23 are marked on the packaging material 1, the outline of the fixing holes 23 (i.e., a circle) may be marked, or a cross may be marked to indicate the center position of the fixing holes 23. In this case, the fixing holes 23 are formed with a drill or the like at the positions of the fixing holes 23 marked on the packaging material 1 before the packaging material 1 is placed on the stand 200. Alternatively, anchor bolts may be driven into the stand 200 through the packaging material 1 without previously forming the fixing holes 23, and the packaging material 1 may then be removed. Because the packaging material 1 is made of cardboard, holes can be easily drilled with a drill or the like.
[0022] In FIG. 3 , the distance 24 from the center 22c of the bottom shape 22 in the longitudinal direction (arrow D1 direction) of the packaging material 1 is marked in two opposite directions. The distance 24 from the center 22c of the bottom shape 22 in the lateral direction (arrow D2 direction) of the packaging material 1 is also marked in two opposite directions. Specifically, a dimensional scale is marked on the outside of the bottom shape 22 from each side of the bottom shape 22 to the opposing edges of the packaging material. That is, a dimensional scale is marked from the long sides of the bottom shape 22 to the edges of the packaging material (long sides 11 and 12 of the packaging material 1), and a dimensional scale is marked from the short sides of the bottom shape 22 to the edges of the packaging material (short sides 13 and 14 of the packaging material 1). The center 22c of the bottom shape 22 is marked on the inside of the bottom shape 22, for example, with a cross, so that the worker can grasp the distance 24 from the center 22c from the distance between the center 22c of the bottom shape 22 and the opposite edges. The dimension scale has, for example, main scale lines drawn at regular intervals and auxiliary scale lines drawn between the main scale lines and shorter than the main scale lines, and is configured so that positions equidistant from the center 22c in two directions opposite to the center 22c are visually easy to understand.
[0023] In Figure 3, the indicators displayed on the packaging material 1 are displayed symmetrically on both sides of the center in the longitudinal direction of the packaging material 1 (direction of arrow D1), and also symmetrically on both sides of the center in the lateral direction of the packaging material 1 (direction of arrow D2).
[0024] 1 to 3, one of the packaging materials (packaging material 1) that protects the unit body 3 when the air conditioning apparatus 100 is transported has the positions of the multiple fixing holes 23 and the like indicated. Therefore, this packaging material 1 can also be used to determine the installation position of the unit body 3 on the stand 200 after transport (in particular, the fixing positions using the multiple anchor bolts).
[0025] A method for marking anchor bolt fixing holes (not shown) on the stand 200 using the packaging material 1 will be described below. First, the worker places the packaging material 1 on the stand 200. At this time, the packaging material 1 is placed so that the various indicators written on it are facing up. Next, the worker adjusts the position of the packaging material 1 on the stand 200 so that the four fixing holes 23 formed in the packaging material 1 are positioned in a balanced manner on the two bases 201 and 202 of the stand 200. At this time, the worker can adjust the position of the packaging material 1 on the stand 200 while referring to the bottom shape 22 of the unit main body 3 and the distance 24 from the center 22c of the bottom shape 22 (e.g., a dimensional scale) written on the packaging material 1. For example, the worker can adjust the distances between the bases 201, 202 of the stand 200 and the short sides of the bottom shape 22 so that they are approximately the same on one side and the other in the longitudinal direction (direction of arrow D1) of the packaging material 1, and can also use the dimensional scale as a reference to adjust the distances between the bases 201, 202 of the stand 200 and the packaging material ends (short sides 13, 14) of the bottom shape 22 so that they are approximately the same. Next, with the packaging material 1 placed on the stand 200, the worker marks anchor bolt fixing holes (not shown) on the stand 200 via the multiple fixing holes 23.
[0026] In order to describe the contact surface 33 of the unit body 3 on the packaging material 1, the packaging material 1 must have an area equal to or larger than the contact surface 33. Incidentally, as shown in FIG. 1 , the housing 30 of the unit body 3 has an open side on which the heat exchanger 32 is disposed, and the heat exchanger 32 is disposed on this open side. Because the heat exchanger 32 is disposed on the open side and is a component formed by combining multiple parts, it particularly requires protection. Therefore, the air conditioning apparatus 100 generally includes a cushioning material covering the heat exchanger 32 as one of the packaging materials used during transportation. The heat exchanger 32 is a relatively large component of the unit body 3. Therefore, by using the cushioning material covering the heat exchanger 32, among the multiple packaging materials used to protect the unit body 3 during transportation, as the packaging material 1 for determining the installation position described above, it becomes easy to ensure a large enough area of the packaging material 1 for describing the contact surface 33 (i.e., the bottom surface shape 22).
[0027] It should be noted that any of the multiple packaging materials used to cover the unit body 3 during transportation may be provided with the function for determining the installation position. For example, various indicators, such as the positions of the multiple fixing holes 23, may be provided on packaging materials placed below or above the unit body 3 during transportation. Furthermore, the material, shape, and number of components constituting the packaging material 1 are not limited to those described above. For example, the packaging material 1 may be made of wood such as plywood, or polystyrene foam. However, the packaging material 1 must be rigid enough to maintain its shape without bending when the packaging material 1 is placed on the stand 200 and the installation position of the unit body 3 is determined as described above. Cardboard is often used as a packaging material to cover the unit body 3 during transportation, and is lightweight and able to maintain its shape, making it preferable for the packaging material 1 used to determine the installation position. If the packaging material 1 is prone to deformation, such as bending, the above process becomes difficult. Therefore, it is preferable to use reinforced cardboard having a certain thickness or greater (e.g., reinforced cardboard B flute or larger).
[0028] Furthermore, the display positions and display methods of the various indicators are not limited to those described above. Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram showing a modified example of the packaging material 1 of Fig. 3. In the modified example shown in Fig. 4, a dimensional scale indicating the distance 24a from the center 22c of the bottom shape 22 in the longitudinal direction of the packaging material 1 (the direction of the arrow D1) is written along each of the long sides 11 and 12 of the packaging material 1. In addition, each of the short sides 13 and 14 of the packaging material 1 is written with a line mark at a position equidistant from the center 22c on one side and the other side of the center 22c to indicate the distance 24b from the center 22c of the bottom shape 22 in the lateral direction of the packaging material 1 (the direction of the arrow D2).
[0029] As described above, the air conditioning apparatus 100 according to Embodiment 1 is an air conditioning apparatus 100 provided with packaging material 1 that protects the unit body 3, which is to be installed on a foundation (for example, the stand 200) using a plurality of anchor bolts, during transportation before installation. The packaging material 1 is indicated by having the positions of a plurality of fixing holes 23 written or formed thereon, which correspond to the planned positions of the plurality of anchor bolts.
[0030] This allows the positions of the anchor bolt fixing holes in the foundation (frame 200) to be determined during installation using the packaging material 1 that protects the unit body 3, eliminating the need for temporary placement of the air conditioning unit 100 as in the past. This reduces installation time and the number of workers required compared to the past.
[0031] Furthermore, the packaging material 1 has a plurality of fixing holes 23 formed therein, or knockout portions formed at the positions of the plurality of fixing holes 23, thereby indicating the positions of the plurality of fixing holes 23.
[0032] As a result, while the packaging material 1 is left on the foundation (frame 200), anchor bolt fixing holes can be marked on the foundation through the multiple fixing holes 23 in the packaging material 1. The knockout portions can be punched out to form the fixing holes 23 immediately before marking the anchor bolt fixing holes.
[0033] Furthermore, the positions of the multiple fixing holes 23 are marked on the packaging material 1, thereby indicating the positions of the multiple fixing holes 23. As a result, the packaging material 1 can protect the unit body 3 during transportation with the multiple fixing holes 23 closed. Furthermore, there is no need to form the multiple fixing holes 23 or knockout portions in the packaging material 1 beforehand, making the packaging material 1 easy to manufacture.
[0034] The packaging material 1 also has a bottom shape 22 of the unit body 3 printed thereon. This allows the worker to refer to the bottom shape 22 printed on the packaging material 1 and adjust the position of the packaging material 1 so that the positions of the multiple fixing holes 23 are optimal relative to the base (frame 200).
[0035] Furthermore, the packaging material 1 is marked with distances 24 in two opposite directions from the center 22c of the bottom surface shape 22. This allows the worker to refer to the distances 24 marked on the packaging material 1 and adjust the position of the packaging material 1 so that the bottom surface shape 22 (i.e., the ground surface 33 of the unit body 3) is in the optimal position relative to the foundation (the stand 200).
[0036] Furthermore, the packaging material 1 is arranged so as to cover the side surface of the unit body 3 during transportation. This allows the packaging material 1 to be more easily removed from the unit body 3 than, for example, when packaging material arranged below the unit body 3 is used as packaging material 1 for determining the installation position.
[0037] The packaging material 1 is made of cardboard, which allows the packaging material 1 to maintain its shape even when placed on a foundation, and is lighter and easier to handle than packaging material 1 made of, for example, sheet metal or wood.
[0038] Embodiment 2 Fig. 5 is a schematic diagram showing a state in which the packaging material 101 has been separated from the unit body 103 in an air conditioning apparatus 100a according to Embodiment 2. Fig. 6 is a schematic diagram showing a method of marking fixing holes 23 for anchor bolts on a stand 200 using the packaging material 101 of Fig. 5. In Embodiment 1, the packaging material 1 for determining the installation position was composed of a single member, but in Embodiment 2, the packaging material 101 for determining the installation position is composed of a combination of two members. The configuration of the air conditioning apparatus 100a according to Embodiment 2 will be described below with reference to Figs. 5 and 6.
[0039] In the air conditioning apparatus 100a of embodiment 2, the size of the unit body 103 is larger than in embodiment 1, and the unit body 103 is configured by combining two unit bodies 3 from embodiment 1. The air conditioning apparatus 100a of embodiment 2 is equipped with a first member 1A and a second member 1B that are arranged to cover the front of the unit body 103 during transportation and that are separated from the unit body 103 during installation and are used as packaging material 101 for determining the installation position. Below, the two members (first member 1A and second member 1B) that make up the packaging material 101 for determining the installation position are each defined as being made of cardboard.
[0040] In Figure 5, the first member 1A and the second member 1B each have a rectangular shape. The first member 1A has long sides 11a and 12a and short sides 13a and 14a, while the second member 1B has long sides 11b and 12b and short sides 13b and 14b. When transporting the air conditioning device 100a, the first member 1A is positioned in front of the left side of the unit body 103 so that its longitudinal direction is vertical and its short side is horizontal. When transporting the air conditioning device 100a, the second member 1B is positioned in front of the right side of the unit body 103 so that its longitudinal direction is vertical and its short side is horizontal. 5 and 6, the first member 1A and the second member 1B are connected at their respective long sides (specifically, the right long side 11a of the first member 1A and the left long side 12b of the second member 1B) to form a rectangular packaging material 101 extending in the left-right direction. Note that the first member 1A and the second member 1B only need to be connected to each other so that the area of the packaging material 101 is larger than when the packaging material 101 is formed from a single member, and an interlocking structure may be formed at the connected portion.
[0041] That is, the first member 1A and the second member 1B are arranged so that they are individually (i.e., separated from each other) to protect the unit body 103 during transportation, but when installed, parts of them come into contact with or engage with each other and are used as packaging material 101 for determining the installation position.
[0042] As shown in Figure 6, in the air conditioning apparatus 100a of embodiment 2, as in embodiment 1, at least the positions of a plurality of fixing holes 23 corresponding to the planned positions of a plurality of anchor bolts are displayed as indicators on the packaging material 101. In addition, the packaging material 101 displays, as indicators, the bottom shape 22 of the unit body 103 (see Figure 5) and the distance 24 from the center 22c of the bottom shape 22.
[0043] The larger the unit body 103, the larger the installation area, so the larger the packaging material 101 for determining the installation position of the unit body 103 must be. Furthermore, the packaging material 101 for determining the installation position must accurately indicate the spacing between the multiple fixing holes 23. By integrally constructing the packaging material 101 for determining the installation position by combining two members (the first member 1A and the second member 1B) as described above, the multiple fixing holes 23 can be indicated at the intended spacing. In FIG. 6 , the positions of two of the four fixing holes 23 are indicated on the first member 1A, and the positions of the remaining two fixing holes 23 are indicated on the second member 1B.
[0044] It should be noted that a function for determining the installation position may be added to any of the multiple packaging materials that cover the unit body 103 during transportation. For example, various indicators, such as the positions of the multiple fixing holes 23, may be provided on the packaging material that is placed below or above the unit body 103 during transportation. Furthermore, the material and shape of the packaging material 101, as well as the number of components that make up the packaging material 101, are not limited to the above. For example, the packaging material 101 may be made of wood such as plywood, polystyrene foam, or the like. Furthermore, for example, the packaging material 101 may be made of a combination of three or more components.
[0045] As described above, in the air conditioning apparatus 100a according to embodiment 2, as in embodiment 1, the positions of the anchor bolt fixing holes in the foundation (frame 200) can be determined during installation using the packaging material 101 that protects the unit body 103. Therefore, as in embodiment 1, the conventional temporary placement is not necessary in embodiment 2 either, which shortens the installation time and reduces the number of workers required.
[0046] Furthermore, in the air conditioning apparatus 100a according to embodiment 2, the packaging material 101 is formed by combining multiple components (first component 1A and second component 1B) that are separated from each other during transportation and are then combined at the time of installation.
[0047] This makes it easy to ensure an area on the packaging material 101 for marking the bottom surface shape 22 (i.e., the contact surface 133) even if the unit size of the unit body 103 is large.
