Abstract
Description
[0001] DEVICE FOR AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM AND AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM
[0002] Technical Field
[0003] The present application relates to the field of aerosol provision technology, and particularly to a device for an aerosol provision system and an aerosol provision system.
[0004] Background
[0005] Aerosol provision systems, such as electronic cigarettes, heat but do not burn an aerosol-generating substrate (such as tobacco) in an aerosol-generating material. Generally, devices like heaters are used to heat the aerosol-generating material to a high enough temperature to generate an aerosol for users to inhale. Aerosol provision systems usually use batteries to supply power to the heaters. However, the disposal of used batteries can not only cause serious pollution to the environment but can also seriously endanger human health.
[0006] In response to the above-mentioned problems, existing aerosol provision devices have proposed structures that can separate the battery from the device (that is, the battery is detachably connected to the aerosol provision device) to facilitate the recycling of the battery. For such aerosol provision devices with detachable batteries, during the assembly process, the electrodes of the battery can be misaligned with the electrodes of the cartomizer due to improper battery assembly. This can lead to a poor connection between the battery and the cartomizer, which may result in an inability to supply power.
[0007] Summary
[0008] Described herein is a device for an aerosol provision system and an aerosol provision system for reducing or avoiding the problem of power supply failure caused by poor connection between the battery and the cartomizer.
[0009] In accordance with a first aspect, there is provided a device for an aerosol provision system. The device comprises a first electrode, and the first electrode is used to electrically connect to a second electrode of an external component. When the device rotates relative to the second electrode at a preset angle in the circumferential direction of the aerosol provision system, the first electrode always maintains electrical connection with the second electrode.

[0085] The present disclosure relates to aerosol delivery systems (which may also be referred to as vapour delivery systems) such as nebulisers or e-cigarettes. Throughout the following description the term "e-cigarette" or "electronic cigarette" may sometimes be used, but it will be appreciated this term may be used interchangeably with aerosol delivery system I device and electronic aerosol delivery system / device. Furthermore, and as is common in the technical field, the terms "aerosol" and "vapour", and related terms such as "vaporise", "volatilise" and "aerosolise", may generally be used interchangeably.
[0086] Aerosol delivery systems (e-cigarettes) often, though not always, comprise a modular assembly comprising a reusable device part and a replaceable (disposable / consumable) cartridge part. Often, the replaceable cartridge part will comprise the aerosol-generating material and the vaporiser (which may collectively be called a “cartomizer”) and the reusable device part will comprise the power provision (e.g. rechargeable power source) and control circuitry. It will be appreciated these different parts may comprise further elements depending on functionality. Cartridges are electrically and mechanically coupled to the control unit for use, for example using a screw thread, bayonet, or magnetic coupling with appropriately arranged electrical contacts. When the aerosol-generating material in a cartridge is exhausted, or the user wishes to switch to a different cartridge having a different aerosol-generating material, the cartridge may be removed from the reusable part and a replacement cartridge attached in its place. Systems and devices conforming to this type of two-part modular configuration may generally be referred to as two-part systems / devices.
[0087] It is common for electronic cigarettes to have a generally elongate shape. For the sake of providing a concrete example, certain embodiments of the disclosure will be taken to comprise this kind of generally elongate two-part system employing disposable cartridges. However, it will be appreciated that the underlying principles described herein may equally be adopted for different configurations, for example single-part systems or modular systems comprising more than two parts, refillable devices and single-use disposables, as well as other overall shapes, for example based on so-called box-mod high performance devices that typically have a boxier shape. More generally, it will be appreciated certain embodiments of the disclosure are based on aerosol delivery systems which are operationally configured to provide functionality in accordance with the principles described herein and the constructional aspects of systems configured to provide the functionality in accordance with certain embodiments of the disclosure is not of primary significance.
[0088] Existing aerosol provision devices may be configured to facilitate separation of the battery from the device (i.e., the battery is detachably connected to the aerosol provision device) to facilitate the recycling of the battery. However, for such aerosol provision devices with detachable batteries, during the assembly process, there is a risk that the electrodes of the battery are misaligned with the electrodes of the cartomizer due to improper battery assembly. This leads to poor connection between the battery and the cartomizer and inability to supply power. Disclosed herein is a new device for an aerosol provision system. The device comprises a first electrode, and the first electrode is configured to electrically connect with a second electrode of an external component. Furthermore, when the device rotates relative to the second electrode at a preset angle in the circumferential direction of the aerosol provision system, the first electrode always maintains electrical connection with the second electrode. This ensures that the first electrode and the second electrode will not be misaligned due to improper assembly, avoiding the problem of power supply failure caused by poor connection between the first electrode and the second electrode. It will be appreciated that one or more of the device or the external component may be a replaceable part (i.e. a component) of an aerosol provision device and / or an aerosol provision system.
[0089] It should be noted that the device for an aerosol provision system provided by embodiments may be applied to a pen-type aerosol provision system or a cartridge-type aerosol provision system. No specific limitation is made here.
[0090] Embodiment one
[0091] Figure 1 is a three-dimensional structural schematic diagram of a device for an aerosol provision system (i.e. a component for use in an aerosol provision system) and an external component. Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view of the device for an aerosol provision system and an external component. Figure 3 is an exploded view of the device for an aerosol provision system and an external component. As shown in Figures 1 to 3, the device generally comprises a first electrode 100a, a first insulating member 200a, a second insulating member 300a, and a housing 400a. A chamber 410a is formed inside the housing 400a, and the first electrode 100a, the first insulating member 200a, and the second insulating member 300a are all arranged in the chamber 410a. The first electrode 100a is configured to electrically connect with a second electrode 500a of an external component. The first electrode 100a is configured such that when the device rotates relative to the second electrode 500a at a preset angle in the circumferential direction of the aerosol provision system, the first electrode 100a always maintains electrical connection with the second electrode 500a. It should be noted that in the embodiments, no specific limitation is made on the size of the preset angle. It can set it according to actual needs. For example, the preset angle may be any value within the range of 0° to 360° .
[0092] Further referring to Figures 1 to 4, in an embodiment, the second electrode 500a has a columnar structure. The first insulating member 200a is configured to form a first containment chamber 210a. The second insulating member 300a is configured to be embedded in the first containment chamber 210a (i.e. received in the first containment chamber 210a) and is rotatable relative to the first insulating member 200a (when embedded within the first containment chamber 210a). In an implementation, the second insulating member 300a is provided with an insertion hole 310a. The second insulating member 300a has a first end 320a and a second end 330a opposite to each other in the depth direction of the insertion hole 310a. The columnar second electrode 500a is inserted from the first end 320a and fixed in the insertion hole 310a, so that the second electrode 500a can rotate with the second insulating member 300a relative to the first insulating member 200a. Optionally, the second insulating member 300a has an overall columnar structure to facilitate the rotation of the second insulating member 300a relative to the first insulating member 200a, along the circumferential direction of the device, when it is embedded within the first containment chamber 210a.
[0093] It can be understood that the device for an aerosol provision system in the embodiments comprises one of a battery component 600a and a cartomizer 1200a, and the external component includes the other one of the battery component 600a and the cartomizer 1200a.
[0094] In an embodiment, the device for an aerosol provision system comprises a battery component. The first electrode (not shown in the figure) is electrically connected to the battery component, the external component comprises a cartomizer, and the second electrode 500a is electrically connected to the cartomizer.
[0095] In another embodiment, the device for an aerosol provision system includes a cartomizer. The first electrode 100a is electrically connected to the cartomizer. The external component comprises a battery component, and the second electrode 500a is electrically connected to the battery component.
[0096] The following describes an example in which the device for an aerosol provision system is the battery component 600a, by way of example only. It will be appreciated that the following description applies equally if the device for an aerosol provision system is the cartomizer 1200a.
[0097] It can be understood that in the embodiments, no specific limitation is made on the specific composition of the battery component 600a. Any known battery component can be used. Further, referring to Figure 3, as an example, the battery component 600a in embodiments may comprise components such as a battery cell 610a, a battery housing 620a covering the periphery of the battery cell 610a, a control circuit board 630a electrically connected to the battery cell 610a, and a battery bottom cover 640a arranged at the bottom of the battery cell 610a. Details are not repeated here. In embodiments, the first electrode 100a is electrically connected to the battery cell 610a, so that the battery cell 610a may supply power to the external component (e.g. the cartomizer 1200a) through the first electrode 100a and the second electrode 500a. The first electrode 100a is fixedly connected to the battery component 600a. The battery component 600a is detachably connected to the housing 400a, so that the first electrode 1OOa can be removed from the housing 400a together with the battery component 600a.
[0098] It should be noted that when the device for an aerosol provision system comprises a cartomizer, in the embodiments of the present application, no specific limitation is made on the specific composition of the cartomizer. Any known cartomizer can be used in the present application.
[0099] Further referring to Figures 4 and 5, in an embodiment, the first insulating member 200a comprises a first part 220a and a second part 230a that are connected to each other. The first part 220a is embedded in the battery housing 620a to achieve the connection between the first insulating member 200a and the battery component 600a. The second part 230a extends in a direction away from the battery component 600a (and away from the first part 220a) on the end face of the first part 220a away from the battery component 600a The second part 230a forms the above-mentioned first containment chamber 210a. The second part 230a comprises a main body part 231a and a flange 232a connected to the main body part 231a. The main body part 231a extends in a direction away from the battery component 600a (and the first part 220a) on the end face of the first part 220a away from the battery component 600a, and the flange 232a extends transversely along the device at one end of the main body part 231a away from the first part 220a. That is, the flange 232a is provided at an end of the main body part 231a and protrudes radially inward from the main body part 231 a. When the second insulating member 300a is embedded in the first containment chamber 210a, the flange 232a acts to hold the second insulating member 300a to prevent the second insulating member 300a from falling out of the first containment chamber 210a.
[0100] In embodiments, there are multiple main body parts 231a. The multiple main body parts 231a are arranged at intervals along the circumferential direction of the device on the end face of the first part 220a away from the battery component 600a. There are also multiple flanges 232a, and each flange 232a is connected to one of the main body parts 231a. It can be understood that the number of flanges 232a can be less than the number of main body parts 231a.
[0101] In an embodiment, the first electrode 100a is a wire. One end of the wire is electrically connected to the battery cell 610a (such as by welding), and the other end of the wire is electrically connected to the second electrode 500a. When the second insulating member 300a rotates relative to the first insulating member 200a, along with the second electrode 500a, the first electrode 100a and the second electrode 500a may always maintain electrical connection. In an embodiment, the wire may be partially inserted into the insertion hole 310a to achieve electrical connection with the second electrode 500a. Further, as an example, the second insulating member 300a may also be provided with a wire-passing hole 350a. The wire-passing hole 350a has an opening (not marked in the figure) on the second end 330a of the second insulating member 300a. One end of the wire-passing hole 350a (opposite to the opening) communicates with the insertion hole 310a. The end of the wire away from the battery cell 610a (i.e. the end of the wire not connected to the battery cell 610a) is inserted into the wire-passing hole 350a from the opening and enters the insertion hole 310a from the other end of the wire-passing hole 350a to be electrically connected to the second electrode 500a. That is, the wire-passing hole 350 communicates with, or opens into, the insertion hole 310a, such that the wire may pass through the wire-passing hole 350a with the end of the wire not connected to the battery cell 610a being received in the insertion hole 310a. The wirepassing hole 350a penetrates the second insulating member 300a along the direction from the first end 320a to the second end 330a or from the second end 330a to the first end 320a. The end of the wire away from the battery cell 610a (i.e. the end of the wire not connected to the battery cell 610a) is inserted into the wire-passing hole 350a from the second end 330a and passes through the wire-passing hole 350a to the first end 320a, and then is inserted into the insertion hole 310a (from the first end 320a) to be electrically connected to the second electrode 500a.
[0102] It should be noted that in embodiments, no specific limitation is made on the shape, size, arrangement position on the second insulating member 300a, etc. of the insertion hole 310a and the wire-passing hole 350a on the second insulating member 300a. These can be set according to the actual requirements of the product.
[0103] It can be understood that in embodiments, no specific limitation is made on the shape, size, etc. of the insertion hole 310a and the wire-passing hole 350a. Users can set them according to the actual product requirements.
[0104] In another embodiment, the first electrode may take the shape of any one of an annulus, a circle, or an arc. The annulus, circle, or arc takes the rotation center of the second insulating member 300a (i.e. the axis about which the second insulating member 300a rotates) as its center point. The first electrode is located at the second end 330a of the second insulating member 300a and outside the insertion hole 310a. For example, the first electrode is located on the inner side of the end face of the first containment chamber 210a near the second end of the second insulator 300a, that is, the first electrode is located at the bottom of the cavity of the first containment chamber 210a. One end of the first electrode is electrically connected to the battery cell 610a, and the other end abuts against the second electrode 500a that passes through the insertion hole 310a. In this way, when the second insulating member 300a rotates, together with the second electrode 500a, relative to the first insulating member 200a, the second electrode 500a passes along the annulus-shaped, circular, or arc-shaped first electrode with the same rotation center, so that the second electrode 500a can always maintain electrical connection with the first electrode. It can be understood that in another embodiment, the first electrode may also have a columnar structure. The second electrode is a wire or in the shape of an annulus, a circle, or an arc. One end of the first electrode is inserted from the second end 330a and fixed in the insertion hole 310a and passes through the insertion hole 310a to be electrically connected to the second electrode. The other end of the first electrode is electrically connected to the battery cell 610a. For example, the other end of the first electrode may be electrically connected to the battery cell 610a through a wire. When the second insulating member 300a rotates relative to the first insulating member 200a, the first electrode is caused to rotate relative to the second electrode, such that the first electrode and the second electrode always maintain electrical connection.
[0105] It can be understood that in embodiments, the number of the first electrodes 100a and the second electrodes 500a is two. One of the first electrodes 100a is connected to the positive pole of the battery cell 610a, and the other first electrode 100a is connected to the negative pole of the battery cell 610a. One of the second electrodes 500a is connected to the positive pole of the cartomizer 1200a, and the other second electrode 500a is connected to the negative pole of the cartomizer 1200a. Details are not repeated here.
[0106] Further referring to Figure 3, in embodiments the device also comprises a connection component 700a. The connection component 700a comprises a structural member 710a embedded in the housing 400a and a connector 720a arranged on the battery bottom cover 640a. A connection groove 730a is provided on the structural member 710a. The connector 720a is detachably connected to the connection groove 730a and can move reciprocally along the connection groove 730a. It can be understood that the detachable connection between the battery component 600a and the housing 400a can be achieved through the detachable connection between the connector 720a and the connection groove 730a. And because the connector 720a may move reciprocally along the connection groove 730a, the battery component 600a can rotate and cause the first insulating member 200a to rotate relative to the second insulating member 300a, further realizing the relative rotation of the device and the second electrode within a preset angle in the circumferential direction of the aerosol provision system. The arrangements described above ensure that the first electrode and the second electrode 500a always maintain electrical connection during this rotation.
[0107] In embodiments, the structural member 710a is also provided with a passage groove 740a. One end of the passage groove 740a communicates with the external environment, and the other end communicates with the connection groove 730a, so that the connector 720a can enter the connection groove 730a through the passage groove 740a.
[0108] In embodiments, no specific limitation is made on the specific shape of the connection groove 730a. It can be selected according to the actual requirements of the product. In an embodiment, the connection groove may be composed of multiple interconnected groove bodies, and the multiple groove bodies are arranged at an angle to each other. This makes it convenient to limit the connector 720a in one of the groove bodies and prevent the connector 720a from falling off. In another embodiment, the connection groove 730a may be a spiral groove or an arc-shaped groove, and the spiral groove or arc-shaped groove is arranged on the structural member 710a along the circumferential direction of the structural member 710a. In this way, the connector 720a may be screwed to the end of the spiral groove or arc-shaped groove away from the passage groove for limitation by means of rotation.
[0109] It can be understood that, based on the inherent characteristics of the device for an aerosol provision system, an airflow channel may also be selectively provided inside the device for an aerosol provision system. In embodiments, the first insulating member 200a may also be provided with a first through-hole 240a, and the second insulating member 300a may also be provided with a second through-hole 340a. The first through-hole 240a and the second through-hole 340a are in communication and form part of the airflow channel.
[0110] Embodiment two
[0111] As shown in Figures 6 to 8, the device for an aerosol provision system in accordance with Embodiment two comprises a first electrode 100b and a housing 400b. A chamber 410b is formed inside the housing 400b, and the first electrode 100b is arranged in this chamber 410b. The first electrode 100b is configured to electrically connect with a second electrode 500b of an external component. The first electrode 100b is configured such that when the device rotates relative to the second electrode 500b at a preset angle in the circumferential direction of the aerosol provision system, the first electrode 100b always maintains electrical connection with the second electrode 500b. It should be noted that no specific limitation is made on the size of the preset angle. This can be set according to actual needs. For example, the preset angle may be any value within the range of 0° to 360° .
[0112] No specific limitation is made on the second electrode 500b of the external component. It can be set according to the actual product requirements. In embodiments, one of the first electrode 100b and the second electrode 500b has at least an electrode body that is annular, circular, or arc-shaped, and the other of the first electrode 100b and the second electrode 500b comprises an elastic component. The other may comprise a spring, for example a coil spring. The coil spring electrode is configured such that when rotating relative to the annular, circular, or arc-shaped electrode body, the coil spring maintains contact with the annular, circular, or arc-shaped electrode body and moves along it, thereby ensuring that the two always maintain electrical connection.
[0113] In an embodiment, the first electrode 100b has at least an electrode body that is annular, circular, or arc-shaped, and the second electrode 500b is an elastic component. Optionally, the second electrode 500b comprises a spring, for example a coil spring 510b. In another embodiment, the second electrode 500b has at least an electrode body that is annular, circular, or arc-shaped, and the first electrode 100b is an elastic component. Optionally, the first electrode 100b comprises a spring, for example a coil spring.
[0114] Embodiments will be described in detail by taking the example where the first electrode 100b has at least an electrode body that is annular, circular, or arc-shaped, the second electrode 500b comprises a coil spring 510b, the device for an aerosol provision system comprises a battery component 600b, and the external component comprises a cartomizer 1200b. It will be appreciated that the following description applies equally if the first electrode 100b comprises a coil spring 510b, and / or the second electrode 500b has at least an electrode body that is annular, circular, or arc-shaped, and / or the device for an aerosol provision system comprises a cartomizer 1200b, and / or the external component comprises a battery component 600b.
[0115] It can be understood that no specific limitation is made on the specific composition of the battery component 600b. Any known battery component can be used. The battery component 600b may be the same or similar to the battery component described in respect of Embodiment one, and details will not be repeated here. Embodiments will be described in detail by taking this as an example.
[0116] Further referring to Figures 6 to 8, in an embodiment, the first electrode 100b has an annular electrode body, which comprises a first electrode body 110b and a second electrode body 120b. The first electrode body 110b and the second electrode body 120b are concentrically arranged and there is a first preset distance between them to prevent a short circuit caused by contact after the first electrode body 110b and the second electrode body 120b are energized. It can be understood that one of the first electrode body 110b and the second electrode body 120b is electrically connected to the positive pole of the battery component 600b, and the other is electrically connected to the negative pole of the battery component 600b. It should be noted that no specific limitation is made on the first preset distance. This can be set according to the actual product requirements.
[0117] Further referring to Figure 7, in embodiments, the first electrode 100b is formed as a first integrated circuit. The first integrated circuit comprises a carrier 800b and the electrode body (including the first electrode body 110b and the second electrode body 120b) arranged on the carrier 800b. It can be understood that the first integrated circuit also comprises an internal circuit (not shown in the figure) arranged inside the carrier 800b. One end of the internal circuit is electrically connected to the battery component 600b, and the other end is electrically connected to the electrode body, thereby realizing the electrical connection between the first electrode 100b and the battery component 600b. No specific limitation is made on the internal circuit. It can be set according to the actual product requirements. By way of example, the carrier 800b in the embodiments may be made of an insulating material. It should be noted that no specific limitation is made on the shape of the carrier 800b. It can be set according to the actual product requirements.
[0118] It should be noted that no specific limitation is made on the specific implementation of the first integrated circuit. It can be set according to the actual product requirements. For example, the first integrated circuit may be a flexible printed circuit board (FPC) or a rigid printed circuit board (PCB), etc.
[0119] Further referring to Figure 7, the rotation center of the coil spring 510b (i.e. axis of symmetry of the coil spring 510a) coincides with the rotation center of the relative rotation between the first electrode 100b and the second electrode 500b (i.e. the axis about which relative rotation between the firs electrode 100b and the second electrode 500b occurs). It can be understood that there are at least two coil springs 510b. Optionally, corresponding to the first electrode 100b, there are two coil springs 510b, and the two coil springs 510b are concentrically arranged. There is a second preset distance between the coil springs 510b to prevent a short circuit caused by contact after the two coil springs 510b are energized. One end of the coil spring 510b abuts against the first electrode 100b to achieve electrical connection, and the other end of the coil spring 510b is electrically connected to the cartomizer 1200b, thereby realizing that the battery component 600b supplies power to the cartomizer 1200b through the first electrode 100b and the second electrode 500b.
[0120] It can be understood that, based on the above structure and connection method of the first electrode 100b and the second electrode 500b, when the device rotates relative to the second electrode 500b at a preset angle in the circumferential direction of the aerosol provision system, the second electrode 500b moves along the electrode body (annular, circular, or arc-shaped) of the first electrode 100b and maintains contact with the electrode body of the first electrode 100b, so that the first electrode 100b and the second electrode 500b always maintain electrical connection.
[0121] It can be understood that, based on the inherent characteristics of the device for an aerosol provision system, an airflow channel can also be selectively provided inside the device for an aerosol provision system. As an optional implementation in the embodiments, the through-hole on the second electrode body 120b forms part of the airflow channel.
[0122] Further referring to Figure 7, in embodiments, the device also comprises a second integrated circuit 900b. The second integrated circuit 900b is arranged at the end of the coil spring 510b away from the first electrode 100b. That is, the two ends of the coil spring 510b are respectively electrically connected to the second integrated circuit 900b and the first electrode 100b. It can be understood that an internal circuit is also provided in the second integrated circuit 900b. The second integrated circuit 900b is provided with electrical connection points 910b, and the electrical connection points 910b are configured as the leading-out ends of the internal circuit of the second integrated circuit 900b. One end of the coil spring 510b close to the second integrated circuit 900b is electrically connected to the internal circuit, thereby realizing the electrical connection between the coil spring 510b and the electrical connection points 910b. It can be understood that the number of electrical connection points 910b is the same as the number of coil springs 510b, and each electrical connection point 910b is electrically connected to one of the coil springs 510b. For example, when the number of coil springs 510b is two, the number of electrical connection points 910b is also two.
[0123] Further referring to Figure 7, in embodiments, the device also comprises a stopper 1000b. The stopper 1000b is arranged between two adjacent coil springs 510b to separate the coil springs 510b from each other and prevent a short circuit caused by mutual contact after the coil springs 510b are energized.
[0124] It should be noted that no specific limitation is made on the shape and number of the stopper 1000b. It can be set according to the actual product requirements. In an example, the stopper 1000b includes multiple stoppers, and the multiple stoppers 1000b are arranged at intervals between two adjacent coil springs 510b to improve the isolation effect.
[0125] Further referring to Figure 7, in embodiments, the device comprises a support base 1100b. One end of the support base 1100b is embedded in the battery housing 620b of the battery component 600b, and the other end forms a second containment chamber 1110b. The first electrode 100b and part of the second electrode 500b are arranged in this second containment chamber 1110b.
[0126] The stopper 1000b may be integrally formed with the support base 1100b, and the stopper 1000b may extend from the bottom wall of the second containment chamber 1110b in a direction away from the first electrode 100b.
[0127] The part of the carrier 800b located between the first electrode body 110b and the second electrode body 120b may be provided with multiple through-holes 811b. The carrier 800b may be sleeved on the stopper 1000b through the through-holes 811b to fix the carrier 800b in the second containment chamber 1110b.
[0128] In an embodiment, the second electrode 500b also comprises a columnar structure 520b. One end of the columnar structure 520b is electrically connected to the electrical connection point 910b, and the other end is electrically connected to the cartomizer 1200b. It can be understood that the number of columnar structures 520b is the same as the number of coil springs 510b and electrical connection points 910b. For example, when the number of coil springs 510b and electrical connection points 910b is two, the number of columnar structures 520b is also two. One of the columnar structures 520b is connected to the positive pole of the cartomizer 1200b, and the other columnar structure 520b is connected to the negative pole of the cartomizer 1200b. Details will not be repeated here. In another embodiment, the second electrode 500b also comprises a wire (not shown in the figure). One end of the wire is electrically connected to the electrical connection point 910b, and the other end is electrically connected to the cartomizer 1200b. It can be understood that the number of wires is the same as the number of coil springs 510b and electrical connection points 910b. For example, when the number of coil springs 510b and electrical connection points 910b is two, the number of wires is also two. One of the wires is connected to the positive pole of the cartomizer, and the other wire is connected to the negative pole of the cartomizer. Details will not be repeated here.
[0129] Referring to Figures 7 and 8, in an embodiment, in addition to the cartomizer 1200b, the external component also comprises a liquid storage chamber 1300b for accommodating the aerosol-generating material. It can be understood that no specific limitation is made on the specific composition of the cartomizer 1200b and the liquid storage chamber 1300b. Any known cartomizer and liquid storage chamber applicable to an aerosol provision system can be used in the present application.
[0130] Further referring to Figure 8, in an embodiment, the cartomizer 1200b comprises a heater 1210b, an atomization chamber (not shown in the figure) for accommodating the heater, a first bracket 1220b and a second bracket 1230b for fixing the heater 1210b, a sealing member 1240b, and a silicone member 1250b. The heater 1210b is clamped between the first bracket 1220b and the second bracket 1230b. The heater 1210b may comprise a ceramic heater.
