Description

[0001] AN ALCOHOL-FREE AMBIENT FRAGRANCE

[0002] Technical Field of the Invention

[0003] The invention relates to an alcohol-free, high-lasting ambient fragrance. Since the ambient fragrance of the invention, containing the natural ingredient, does not contain alcohol, said fragrance can be easily used by the individuals suffering from migraine and respiratory disorders.

[0004] State of the Art

[0005] Generally, the fragrances are the result of organic or mineral volatile molecules with different physicochemical properties triggering impulses that are transmitted to the brain, acting as a stimulus to the olfactory system [1], The fragrances have three known characteristics: character or quality, which corresponds to a rating scale in which a person recognizes a fragrance as similar to one of his or her own repertoire; intensity and concentration, which are equivalent to the strength of fragrance perception; and hedonic tone evaluation, defined as a measure of the pleasantness of the fragrance. The fragrances, which are well tolerated by the general population, trigger the headache attacks in migraine patients even at low concentrations. Among the fragrances most frequently reported to be associated with migraine attacks, the perfume, which can be considered as a kind of ambient odor, ranked first with a rate of 55.4% [2], In addition, the strong fragrances from perfumes, household or industrial cleaners and air fresheners also trigger asthma symptoms.

[0006] The fragrancing of the household products such as cleaning agents or detergents with volatile organic substances, especially terpenes and terpenoids, has been widely practiced for many years. Today, a variety of products are available for consumers to perfume the air in their rooms and offices [3]. Air fresheners used for this purpose are products designed to change the atmosphere of the room or to emit a pleasant fragrance, usually used in home environments, and products such as candles, diffusers, fragrance sprays and fragrance stones are often included in the category of air fresheners. Many people often resort to air fresheners (sprays, candles, incense, diffusers, etc.) to mask or eliminate unpleasant fragrances. However, the room fragrances contain a variety of chemical and sometimes biological components that may pose a problem for some individuals and negatively affect indoor air quality [4], Migraine and asthma attacks are the main problems in question here. Alcohol is a common ingredient in fragrances and perfumes, and the association of alcohol in air fresheners with migraine is complicated due to the fact that the factors triggering migraine vary from person to person. However, it has been reported that alcohol fragrances can cause migraine attacks in some people, because people with migraine have an increased sensitivity to the fragrances and therefore the chemical fragrances such as alcohol trigger migraine attacks. In addition, asthma is a chronic respiratory disease characterized by inflammation of the airways, and alcohol-based perfumes, deodorants, cleaning products and similar fragrances can irritate the airways and trigger an asthma attack.

[0007] Due to the limitations and inadequacies of the solutions in the state of the art, and the fact that the alcohol used in air fresheners triggers migraine headaches and asthma attacks in individuals, an improvement in ambient fragrances was deemed necessary.

[0008] Summary and Objects of the Invention

[0009] In the invention, an alcohol-free, high-lasting ambient fragrance is described. The ambient fragrance of the invention can be easily used by the individuals suffering from migraine and respiratory disorders.

[0010] The object of the invention is to provide an ambient fragrance which does not trigger migraine pain and asthma attacks. Thanks to the absence of alcohol in the ambient fragrance of the invention, the migraine pains and asthma attacks caused by alcohol are prevented.

[0011] Another object of the invention is to provide a high-lasting ambient fragrance. Thanks to the essence content of the fragrance of the invention, a high-lasting product is obtained.

[0012] Detailed Description of the Invention The invention relates to an alcohol-free, high-lasting ambient fragrance. Since the ambient fragrance of the invention, containing the natural ingredient, does not contain alcohol, said fragrance can be easily used by the individuals suffering from migraine and respiratory disorders.
