[0001] The technology disclosed herein relates to a medium storage device.

[0002] Patent Document 1 describes a conventional banknote storage device. The conventional banknote storage device is incorporated into an automated device that handles banknotes. The conventional banknote storage device uses disposable bags. The disposable bag is a flexible bag that has two opposing rigid parts at its opening. The two rigid parts are supported by two support elements of the banknote storage device, respectively.
