Abstract
Description
[0001] DESCRIPTION
[0002] MONOLITHIC FRONT COUNTERBALANCE WEIGHT AND RELATED PRODUCTION METHOD
[0003] FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The invention relates to front counterbalance weights used in the tractors.
[0005] In particular, the present invention relates to a monolithic front counterbalance weight made of steel and heavy concrete components and a production method, which creates balance in the tractor by connecting to the cast connection bracket of the tractors or to the front-rear PTO (Power Take Off) hydraulic lifter arms.
[0006] PRIOR ART
[0007] According to the terrain conditions of tractors, different agricultural machines and machines requiring weight and the operations to be applied to the terrain, counterweights called counterbalance weights are mounted in the front, rear, side and lower parts of the vehicle. In this way, the balance of tractors, different agricultural machines and machines requiring weight can be ensured according to variable terrain and load conditions and the location of the center of gravity can be adjusted as desired.
[0008] In the state of the art, the counterbalance weights are produced as cast iron and ductile iron and each counterweight is mounted on the cast connection bracket of the vehicle in the desired number. However, due to the high raw material costs of cast steel, the product costs of the existing counterweights are also quite high. In addition, the preparation of different casting moulds for each counterbalance weight for the casting process is another factor that increases the cost, and it is not possible to reuse the raw materials since non- recyclable materials are used in the existing counterbalance weights. When the number of parts produced per unit time is compared with the labor performed, inefficiency occurs in terms of capacity in the cast and ductile iron casting method. On the other hand, since the counterbalance weights in the state of the art are manufactured at low weights and used by mounting them separately to the casting connection bracket of the tractor, it is necessary to manufacture more than one counterbalance weight for a single vehicle. For example, different numbers of counterbalance weights such as 6-8-10-12 can be used for tractors. This causes more steel sheet consumption in production and production costs increase. In addition, the amount of dye used in production is also high. Difficulties are also experienced in transport and storage.
[0009] In the patent search, no patent similar to the counterbalance weight that is the subject of the invention was found. However, some patents made in the relevant technical field are explained below.
[0010] A counterbalance weight made entirely of concrete is disclosed in the utility model application with publication number CN203221829U.
[0011] In the utility model certificate with publication number CN2671834Y, a concrete weight with reinforced concrete structure is disclosed. Said concrete structure is manufactured from cement reinforced with fiber material. It is connected to the wheel by screwing through the openings provided on the concrete weight.

[0020] Another object of the present invention is to create an environmentally friendly front counterbalance weight in accordance with the Paris Climate Agreement by creating a smaller carbon footprint than the pig iron and ductile iron casting process.
[0021] A further object of the present invention is to use less sheet steel raw material and more recycled material in accordance with customer requirements.
[0022] Another object of the present invention is to provide ease of assembly on the customer side by making one-piece (monolithic) or multiple production according to the product type.

[0046] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0047] The present invention relates to a front counterbalance weight consisting of steel and heavy concrete components as an alternative to cast iron and ductile iron, and to a production method for said counterbalance weight.
[0048] The front counterbalance weight according to the invention comprises a body (10) made of 10-60% by weight of sheet steel material and components, and a heavy concrete mixture of 40-90% by weight in the body (10).
[0049] The heavy concrete mix contains 10-30 wt% cement, 20-50 wt% iron ore, 20-60 wt% scale and 5-10 wt% other aggregates. Recycling material is used as much as the scale ratio used in the heavy concrete mixture. Figure 1 shows the work flow diagram of the production method of a body (10) made of steel sheet material and components and a front counterbalance weight consisting of heavy concrete mixture in the body (10).
[0050] The inventive front counterbalance weight production method generally comprises shaping the sheet steel material by means of eccentric / hydraulic pressing or hydroforming, sheet metal forming method or conventional sheet metal forming methods (101), forming the body (10) into which heavy concrete will be mounted or filled (102), producing heavy concrete and assembling it into the body (10) or filling it into the body (10) by injection method (103), curing of the heavy concrete (104) and preparation for painting or coating and finalization of the body (10) by painting or coating (105).
[0051] Shaping (101 ) and forming (102) of the body (10) by processing the sheet steel material: the sheet steel material is formed by using eccentric / hydraulic pressing or hydroforming, sheet metal forming method or conventional sheet metal forming methods and the body (10) is formed by detachable or non-removable connections of the formed parts to each other. There is at least one filling area (11 ) on the body (10) seen in Figures 2 and 3. Said filling area (11) may be a lid joined to the body (10) by welding, nuts-bolts, rivets or hinges. The filling area (11 ) is used to fill heavy concrete into the body (10) by injection method.
[0052] At the rear of the body (10), there is a support connection channel (12) that allows the front counterbalance weight to be mounted on the cast support (20) attached to the tractor chassis, as seen in Figure 4. At the same time, there is a support connection bolt hole (13) on the body (10) for fixing the front counterbalance weight to said cast support (20).
[0053] The front counterbalance weight can be used as an alternative to the cast support (20) by mounting it on the PTO hydraulic lifter arms (30) of the tractor, as seen in Figure 5. For this purpose, there is a PTO connection upper mounting hole (14) on the upper side of the body (10) and a PTO connection lower mounting hole (15) on the lower side of the body (10). The PTO connection upper bracket (40) used for mounting the front counterbalance weight to the PTO hydraulic lifter arms (30) is fixed on the said PTO connection upper mounting hole (14) and the PTO connection lower bracket (50) used for mounting the front counterbalance weight to the PTO hydraulic lifter arms (30) is fixed on the PTO connection lower mounting hole (15) and the front counterbalance weight is mounted to the PTO hydraulic lifter arms (30). At the same time, there is a drawbar connection hole (16) and a drawbar connection hole (17) on the body (10).
[0054] Painting or coating (103) of the body (10): the body (10) containing the heavy concrete is painted or coated after preparation for painting or coating.
[0055] Production and assembly of heavy concrete into the body (10) or filling into the body (10) by injection method (104): Heavy concrete components are prepared by mixing in the mixer in accordance with the relevant recipe. The prepared heavy concrete and other components are produced by shaping in presses under high pressure with the help of special moulds, and the heavy concrete obtained is assembled into the body (10) in a nonremovable manner by using one of the shape-dependent, force-dependent or materialdependent assembly methods, or the prepared heavy concrete and other components are filled into the previously prepared body (10) by a special injection method.
[0056] If the heavy concrete is mounted in the body (10), the type of connection applied depends on the shape; the connection method is applied with a wedge, pin, perno, safety ring, profiled shaft or rivet.
[0057] In case of assembly of heavy concrete into the body (10), if the type of connection applied depends on the force, the connection method is applied with preloaded wedges, clamping connections, tight (press) fit, conical fit or bolt nut connections.
[0058] In case the heavy concrete is mounted in the body (10), the type of connection applied depends on the material; welding, soldering or gluing etc. connections are applied.
[0059] Curing of heavy concrete (105): the body (10) containing heavy concrete is kept for 12-24 hours under curing conditions in the intermediate product stock for setting according to the air and ambient temperature.
[0060] In an alternative embodiment of the invention, the process of painting or coating (103) the body (10) may be carried out after the process step of curing (104) the heavy concrete.
