Benefits of technology

The technology described in these inventions adds identifiers for transmitting specific messages called media control protocol (MCP) signals or radio resource management (RML). These identification codes help determine which message should receive next based upon its own schedule structure. This saves valuable bandwidth usage while avoiding complicated procedures like monitoring broadcast channels. Additionally, it simplifies the procedure used during communication sessions with users who want more efficient use of their network connections without being constantly checking them again after each call. Overall, this innovation improves efficiency and usability over existing methods.

Problems solved by technology

Technologies described in this patents involve improving how media content may be shared over wireless networks like LTE/UMTS. One technical problem addressed by those technologists relates to efficiently managing communication resource usage during video streaming sessions across different types of devices connected through wired interfaces called XDSL Signaling Connection Overall, the patented proposes various techniques aimed towards efficient utilization of available bandwidth within wireless communications systems while ensuring smooth delivery of streams of media data.

Embodiment Construction

[0065] An embodiment of the present invention provides an MBMS channel transmission method. When a TV program needs to be transmitted, the configuration information sent on the MCCH is added with the MBMS transmission identifier, transmission start point and transmission duration information related to the scheduled MTCH, and the UE according to The received configuration information determines the corresponding MTCH and receives data.

[0066] As mentioned earlier, MCCH, MSCH, and MTCH are all logical channels and must be mapped to transport channels. figure 2 The mapping manner of these three channels on the UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network (UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network, UTRAN) side is shown. Afterwards, the transport channel FACH is mapped to the physical channel S-CCPCH, and is transmitted to the UE by the physical channel.

[0067] In order to enable those skilled in the art to better understand the solution of the present invention, the present invention ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a channel transmission method for multimedia broadcast multi-broadcast service. The channel transmission method comprises the steps that a network side sends broadcast information which indicates MCCH configuration to a terminal; the terminal monitors corresponding MCCH according to the received configuration information; the network side adds dispatching information to the configuration information on the MCCH and sends the configuration information to the terminal; and the terminal determines corresponding MTCH according to the configuration information and receives data. The invention also discloses a system, the network side and the terminal of the MBMS, wherein, the dispatching information comprises the transmission identification of the MBMS, the starting line and the ending line of the transmission and the transmission period. By utilizing the invention, the signal channel resources can be saved when the service of TV programs, etc. are transmitted, redundant signaling processes can be avoided, furthermore, a user access period can be shortened and user experience is improved.
