Embodiments of the present application provide a unicast multicast conversion method and apparatus, and a processor-readable storage medium, wherein the unicast multicast conversion method comprises: receiving a Radio Resource Control (RRC) reconfiguration message sent by a first network node, when Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) service data packets sent by the first network node are received through a multicast bearer and a User Equipment (UE) is in a connected state; reconstructing an MBMS Packet Data Convergence Protocol (MBMS PDCP) entity according to the RRC reconfiguration message; sending a reconfiguration completion message to the first network node so that the first network node converts the multicast bearer to a unicast bearer and sends the MBMS service data packets to the UE through the unicast bearer, the reconfiguration completion message being configured to characterize that reconstruction of the MBMS PDCP entity is accomplished by the UE; and receiving the MBMS service data packets sent by the first network node through the unicast bearer. The method realizes the conversion of the UE from receiving the MBMS service data packets through the multicast bearer to receiving the MBMS service data packets through the unicast bearer, thereby ensuring that no data packets are lost.

Method and apparatus for supporting uplink transmissions and MBMS for a WTRU with reduced bandwidth

Methods and procedures may be needed to enable communication and proper operation to support coexistence of low-cost WTRUs and normal WTRUs.SOLUTION: Uplink transmissions and multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) may be supported in a WTRU operating on a reduced bandwidth within an overall system bandwidth by receiving an uplink (UL) resource allocation within the reduced bandwidth and sending a transmission via the UL resource allocation. The reduced bandwidth may include a small number of physical resource blocks (PRBs) that do not overlap with PRBs located at the band edge of the entire system bandwidth including the system PUCCH. The UL resources may be located at both band edges of the reduced bandwidth, may be a PRB pair at the same frequency of the reduced bandwidth, or may be a PRB pair in the first slot of the first subframe and the second slot of the second subframe of the reduced bandwidth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

Methods and devices for determining user equipment to perform uplink feedback for MTCH transmission

The present disclosure describes methods, system, and devices for determining a user equipment (UE) to perform multimedia broadcast multicast (MBMS) uplink feedback. The method includes receiving, by at least one UE, a multicast traffic channel (MTCH) transmission in a MBMS service from a radio access network (RAN). The method further includes, in response to determining that a channel quality indicator (CQI) of the UE satisfies a preset condition, determining, by the UE, to perform MBMS uplink feedback.

This application relates to a channel switching method for mobile communication multimedia broadcasting and terrestrial digital television broadcasting. The method includes: inserting multiple program stream time tags into the target digital television broadcasting program stream to obtain two identical target program streams; inputting the target program streams to a target broadcasting channel and a mobile internet channel respectively, and performing program stream time tag detection to obtain first and second program stream time tag detection results; and based on the first and second program stream time tag detection results, performing buffer control on the target digital television broadcasting program streams to achieve real-time seamless switching of the target digital television broadcasting program between the mobile network digital television broadcasting platform and the terrestrial digital television broadcasting system. This solves the problems of incompatibility and lack of seamless integration between traditional broadcast television services and online audiovisual services, resulting in poor user experience.

Baseband processor, base station and method for wireless communication

A user equipment device (UE) can receive multimedia broadcast and multicast service (MBMS) transmissions on a bandwidth part (BWP) that is specifically allocated for MBMS point-to-multipoint (PTM) transmissions or on MBMS-specific resources configured for PTM transmissions within a UE-specific BWP. A network (e.g., a base station) can configure a MBMS-specific BWP for the UE for the PTM transmissions of each serving cell. The MBMS-specific BWP can be for downlink transmissions and can be cell-specific or UE-specific for each serving cell. The base station can provide the UE with MBMS PTM scheduling information for each BWP, can indicate whether a UE-specific BWP can be used for PTM scheduling and transmissions, and can provide the corresponding scheduling configuration when applicable. The UE can communicate to the base station various capabilities of the UE related to MBMS reception and simultaneous reception of PTM and point-to-point (PTP) transmissions to assist the base station in scheduling communications for the UE.
