Visual Indication Of Alarms On A Ventilator Graphical User Interface

Embodiments described herein seek to optimize the informative presentation of alarms on a ventilator user interface. Embodiments may provide a first level of display that provides a summary of an alarm event and, upon selection, a second level of display that provides additional detailed information regarding the alarm event. Further embodiments may provide access, via hyperlink or otherwise, to settings and / or display screens for resetting the alarm, for reconfiguring alarm settings as appropriate, or for gathering additional information regarding the alarm event. For multiple simultaneous alarm events, a plurality of alarm messages may be prioritized for a clinician on a designated area of the user interface. Prioritization may be communicated via the presentation of various icons, alerts, text, or otherwise, on individual alarm messages. Additionally or alternatively, prioritization may be communicated based on the graphical placement of alarm messages relative to other alarm messages, for instance by displaying more serious alarm messages above other alarm messages, or by displaying more recent alarm messages above other alarm messages. Additionally or alternatively, alarm messages may be partially translucent, such that other displayed respiratory data may be simultaneously viewed with the alarm messages.

Security control and communication system and method

An integrated security control system and method which integrate the functions of a wireless security system control panel and a radio transceiver in an integrated security control system unit. The integrated control unit includes a first telephone communication system for communicating security system data by wired telephone communications, and a second radio frequency (RF) cellular communication system for communicating security system data by communications through an RF communication network. The cellular communication system is the primary communication network for reporting a security event, thereby leaving the first telephone communication system open for telephone communications during the reporting of a security event. A separate unit of the security system, such as a wireless RF status display or a wireless RF keypad, is provided with a beeper transducer for sounding entry and exit beeps. The separate unit is positioned at a separate location from the integrated security control system unit, such that the entry beeps do not alert an entering person to the location of the integrated security control system unit. When a security event is triggered, the control unit delays activating a security alarm sounder in the control unit until after the second RF communication system has finished transmitting the alarm message.

Ingress monitoring system and method

A system for monitoring reverse paths of a bi-directional cable communication network such as a CATV network, to detect and analyze ingress signals entering a reverse path and ending at a network sub-headend or headend through a corresponding one of communication lines, comprises a plurality of radio frequency signal detectors connected thereto. The radio frequency signal detectors are provided with bandpass filter for receiving a radio frequency signal within the frequency band used, to generate corresponding output signals indicative of the strength of the received radio frequency signal. The output signal generated by the frequency signal detector which is coupled to the communication line corresponding to the ingress signal carrying path is indicative of the strength of the received ingress signal with received reverse signals. The system further comprises a signal processor for analyzing the detector output signals through comparison with one or more predetermined ingress thresholds to generate an alarm signal whenever the ingress signal is detected. The system further comprises a control computer receiving the alarm signal to generate monitoring sequence control data indicative of the communication line corresponding to the ingress signal carrying path to be monitored. The system also comprises a selector switch having a plurality of inputs being connected to the communication lines and being responsive to the monitoring sequence control data to select the input connected to the communication line to be monitored, and signal monitoring instrumentation such as a spectrum analyzer and a broadband analyzer coupled to an output of the switching device and being responsive to the monitoring sequence control data for analyzing the ingress signal and generating alarm message data accordingly. The control computer receives the alarm message data to further generate diagnostic sequence control data for the monitoring instrumentation also used to determine source characteristics of the ingress signal.

IP pool management utilizing an IP pool MIB

A method for managing Internet Protocol (IP) addresses on a data communications network includes allocating multiple local IP address pools, requesting IP address usage data from one or more of the network edge devices, receiving the requested IP address usage data, determining whether the local IP address pools should be reallocated based upon the requested IP address usage data, reallocating one or more of the local IP address pools based upon the determination and updating one or more of the local IP address pool databases and a global IP pool database based upon the reallocating. Each of the local IP address pools is associated with a different network edge device that is capable of accepting connection requests requiring an IP address. The global IP address pool database includes the information maintained in each local IP address pool. A network edge device capable of managing IP addresses on a data communications network includes an allocator capable of allocating multiple local IP address pools, a receiver capable of receiving a communication, an allocator capable of allocating an available IP address from the local IP address pool if the communication includes a connection request, a determiner capable of determining whether the local IP address pool should be adjusted, a notifier capable of sending an alarm message to an IP pool manager when the IP address pool should be adjusted and a memory capable of storing an IP address allocation when the communication includes an IP address allocation.

Internet bar monitoring and warning system based on human face recognition technology

The invention relates to a monitoring alarm system of an internet bar based on the face recognition technology, which comprises a monitoring camera, a video signal processing module, a face recognition host and an alarm management server. The monitoring camera carries out face video image acquisition and transmits the acquired face video images to the video signal processing module for video image processing; the video signal processing module transmits the processed video signals and the face images to the face recognition host; the face recognition host carries out comparative recognition processing on the face images according to face database of a blacklist; and if the matching is successful, alarm messages are transmitted to the alarm management server for alarming by a computer network. By adopting the monitoring alarm system of the internet bar based on the face recognition technology, whether the persons to be found appear can be automatically judged and automatic alarming is carried out, therefore, the system is safe and fast, has stable and reliable working performance and wide application range, greatly improves the degree of monitoring intellectualization of the internet bar and can provide clues for the police to solve cases, thereby being beneficial to improving the efficiency of ministry of public security for solving cases.
