Abstract

The invention mainly researches eyebrow detection and final face detection in a static colorful front image, mainly utilizing a detection method combining biomimetic pattern recognition with fuzzy pattern recognition, wherein, eyebrow characteristic vectors are extracted by adopting a Legendre moment invariant. The result of the invention proves that eyebrow can be used as an effective biologic characteristic like eye to detect face, thus expanding a new direction for the face detection method and having greater application value.
