Abstract

The invention discloses a network management method applied in a cloud environment. The method is characterized in that: a. a cloud platform selects one or more computing nodes as an intermediate node from the computing nodes registered locally; b. the cloud platform distributes one or more computing nodes for the intermediate node so as to form an intermediate node sub-management domain; c. the cloud platform sends grouping which comprises data and a program of computing node information to the intermediate node; d. the intermediate node operates the program in the grouping, completes virtual machine configuration of the node itself and forms virtual node resources; e. the virtual node resources of the intermediate node are connected with a virtual network management module of the cloud platform so as to form a virtual peer-to-peer (P2P) network; the virtual network management module of the cloud platform manages the P2P network; f. the virtual machine of the intermediate node forms a virtual P2P sub-network with the computing node of the sub-management domain through a P2P networking engine of the intermediate node itself; the virtual network management module of the intermediate node manages the P2P sub-network.
