Embodiment

[0042] A method for seamless switching of multiple access points in a WiFi network, the method comprising the following steps:

[0043] a. Collecting the network information of the mobile terminal through the current access point and uploading the network information to the trajectory prediction analysis server;

[0044] b. Repeat step a at least five times;

[0045] c. The trajectory prediction analysis server predicts the predicted access point of the mobile terminal and sends the predicted result to the access point information scheduling server;

[0046] d. The access point information scheduling server receives the prediction result of the trajectory prediction analysis server;

[0047] e. The access point information scheduling server acquires data packets from the current access point;

[0048]f. The access point information scheduling server forwards the data packet to the predicted access point;

[0049] g. The mobile terminal is connected to the new access point. ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a seamless switching method for multiple access points of a WiFi network. The method comprises the following steps of: collecting network information of a mobile terminal relevant to an access point by the access point, and uploading the network information to a trajectory prediction and analysis server; repeating the step a for at least five times; predicting the predicted access point of the mobile terminal by the trajectory prediction and analysis server; forwarding a data package to the predicted access point by an access point information dispatch server; building connection between the mobile terminal and the new access point. According to the seamless switching method for multiple access points of the WiFi network, packet loss probability is reduced and meanwhile switching delay is avoided, and seamless rapid switching among multiple access points of the WiFi network is achieved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for switching multiple access points in a network, in particular to a method for seamlessly switching multiple access points in a WiFi network. Background technique [0002] According to the IEEE 802.11 specification, a mobile terminal (Mobile Node, MN) working in an infrastructure mode and its associated access point (Access Point, access point) together constitute a Basic Service Set (BSS). In the basic service set, the mobile terminal can communicate with other nodes only after establishing an association with the access point, that is, the data transmission between the mobile terminal and other nodes must be transferred through the access point. However, in a basic service set, the network coverage of the access point is very limited, usually only 100-200 meters. Such a small transmission distance of the access point limits the mobile range of the mobile terminal. Generally, there are two ways to solve this probl...
