Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device for attendance of persons descending a well on the basis of face recognition. The method comprises the steps of automatically segmenting image areas of all the persons by analyzing pictures shot for the persons descending the well, then carrying out face detection on all the image areas, and finally determining the identities of the persons by using a face recognition technology so as to obtain the well descending condition of the persons descending the well. The method and the device provided by the invention have the advantages that the traditional name-calling and answering mode is avoided, the valuable time is saved, and simultaneously the evidence is left for performance evaluation and analysis.
