Abstract

The invention discloses an SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card switching method and an SIM card switching device of a mobile terminal, belonging to the technical field of communication. The mobile terminal comprises a first SIM card and at least one second SIM card; the SIM card switching device comprises a communication unit, a judging unit and a switching unit, wherein the communication unit is used for executing a call instruction by using the first SIM card and establishing communication connection with a contact person; the judging unit is used for judging whether the remained voice plan of the first SIM card reaches a pre-set lowest voice time threshold value or not; and the switching unit is used for calling the contact person through the second SIM card if the remained voice plan of the first SIM card reaches the pre-set lowest voice time threshold value and disconnecting communication between the first SIM card and the contact person after communication connection is established through the communication unit. The first SIM card is switched into the second SIM card to be communicated with the contact person when communication between the mobile terminal and the contact person is kept; therefore, the communication instantaneity is ensured; and user experience is improved.
