Abstract

The invention discloses a method for taking a picture according to a custom template, comprising the following steps: adjusting the sizes and positions of a scene and a person in a current view interface according to the background and person contours in a custom template; and comparing the adjusted view interface with the custom template, and reminding a user to press the shutter and take a picture if the adjusted view interface overlaps with the scene and the person in the custom template in size and position. The invention further provides a device for taking a picture according to a custom template. By using the method for taking a picture according to a custom template provided by the invention, a picture taker can be instructed to take an ideal picture needed by a user according to a picture taking template predefined by the user, precious time is saved for both the picture taker and the photographed person, and the expected shooting effect is achieved.
