Problems solved by technology

For maximum flexibility one can essentially choose a tube with a low wall thickness and a small outer diameter, but it turns out that in this case the tube may expand in the longitudinal direction when retracted
This results in inaccurate translation of tube motion at on

Embodiment Construction

[0089] Figure 1a The basic design of the device of the invention is shown in the stored state, where the specific features of the tubular sheath 13 are not visible in this representation. The device comprises an implant 1 , a push wire 14 , and a tubular sheath 13 . The implant 1 comprises a braid in which individual threads 4 of radiopaque material are interwoven to ensure that the implant 1 is visible during radiographs. At the proximal end the implant 1 is coupled to a pusher wire 14 with a retaining element not shown in detail here. Extending from the proximal end of the implant 1, the connecting element is secured in the retaining element, a tubular sheath 13 preventing the connecting element from becoming released from the retaining element. A push wire 14 extends through the implant 1 in the distal direction and has a push wire tip 9 at the distal end. In the stored state shown here, the implant 1 is contained in a storage sheath 8 , out of which for application purp...

Abstract

The invention relates to a device for introducing an implant (1) for blood vessels into the human body, comprising an implant (1), an insertion wire (14) and a tubular envelope (13), wherein the implant (1) is deformable in such a way that, in a microcatheter, it adopts a shape of reduced diameter and, at the site of implantation, after the external force exerted by the microcatheter has ceased, expands in order to adapt to the diameter of the blood vessel, the proximal end of the implant (1) has connection elements (6) to a holding element (15), via which the implant (1) is coupled to the insertion wire (14), and the holding element (15) has peripheral recesses (16) into which the connection elements (6) are fitted, wherein the tubular envelope (13) is drawn with a form fit over the holding element (14) with the fitted connection elements (6), such that the connection elements (6) are fixed in the recesses (16) of the holding element (15) and, by pulling the tubular envelope (13) back in the proximal direction, the implant (1) is released, wherein the external diameter of the tubular envelope (13) varies between the proximal end and the distal end. In this way, some portions of the envelope (13) have a high degree of flexibility for transport through narrow blood vessels, while the envelope (13) as a whole has sufficient tensile strength upon release of the implant (1).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a device for introducing an implant into a blood vessel of a human body, said device comprising an implant, a pushing or inserting wire, and a tubular sheath, wherein said implant can be placed in a internal deformation of the microcatheter in a manner that allows the implant to assume a reduced diameter shape, and upon removal of such external constraints imposed by the microcatheter, expand and conform to the vessel diameter at the placement site, and wherein The implant is provided at a proximal end with a connecting element attaching it to a retaining element by means of which the implant is coupled to the pushing wire, and wherein the retaining element is provided with a peripheral cut , the connecting element fits in the peripheral cutout, the tubular sheath is pulled in a form-closed manner over the retaining element with the mating connecting element, so that the connecting element is fixed on the retaining elemen...
