Abstract

Methods and systems are provided for creating calendar events using context. A natural language expression comprising at least one of words, phrases, and phrases of text may be received from the application at the calendar event creation module. The calendar event creation module can use the first grammar module and the second grammar module to identify one or more slots in the natural language expressed text related to the calendar event. The one or more slots identified by the first syntax module and the second syntax module indicating calendar events may be compared to determine a match between the one or more identified slots. If a match is found, at least one calendar event may be created using the one or more slots identified by the first grammar module and the second grammar module.
