Abstract

The invention discloses a method and apparatus for sending identification information and a call switching request. The method for sending the call switching request comprises the following steps: determining that a switched call initiated by UE in a PS domain to a CS domain contains an emergency call; obtaining the identification information of an anchored EATF when the UE initiates the emergency call; and switching the emergency call of the UE in the CS domain according to the identification information. By adoption of the method, the problem that the emergency call may not be switched in the case of multi-service domain networking is solved, and thus the effect of ensuring to switch the emergency call is achieved.
