The method comprises the steps that a first terminal acquires application information, wherein the application information is used for indicating the installed application program of the first terminal; and the first terminal outputs synchronization data, wherein the synchronization data include the application information so that a second terminal is enabled to receive the application information and install or indicate installation of the installed application program of the first terminal according to the application information. Automatic synchronization of the application program of the second terminal can be realized, and the user does not need to search again or install the application program on the second terminal so that the user experience can be improved.
