Abstract

The front end of a conveyor chain is equipped with a counting sensor. A blanking trough is disposed below a side of the conveyor chain. A binding platform is disposed in front of the blanking trough, and the bottom of the blanking trough is provided with a weighing sensor. The lower part of the blanking trough is connected with a foundation through a connecting rod and a hydraulic connecting rod. When the conveyor chain conveys a rod to the blanking trough and the weight of a rod approaches to the weight of rods which can be counted, a signal is transmitted to the counting sensor, and the hydraulic connecting rod of the blanking trough carries out the compressing operation and enables the blanking trough to be inclined and turn over, thereby enabling rods to fall to the binding platform. Moreover, the numbers of rods weighted at all times are accumulated to obtain a sum till the binding operation, and the total number of rods is given out. The weighing sensor transmits the weight to the processor, and the processor receives the weight data. Atolerance range of the weight data of the rods is used for determining the number of rods.
