[0003] The present invention relates to a measuring device. Background art
[0004] Currently, technologies related to measuring devices for measuring basis weights and the like of sheet - shaped objects are known. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses an O - frame having a pair of beams that support a sensor head so as to be horizontally movable, and a measuring device having the O - frame. This measuring device can inexpensively and easily obtain beams that satisfy shape accuracy and rigidity. This measuring device is, as an example, an on - line thickness gauge.
[0005] Patent Document 1: Japanese Unexamined Patent Application Publication No. 2018 - 124104 Summary of the invention
[0006] Current measuring devices need to be manufactured by specifying the specifications for each installation location on the production line for producing sheet - shaped objects. As a result, various problems related to the manufacture of the measuring device arise, such as the inability to start manufacturing the measuring device if the specifications are not clearly defined, a short delivery period for the measuring device after the specifications are clearly defined, a large variation in the manufacturing load, and a reduction in the manufacturing efficiency of the measuring device.
[0007] An object of the present invention is to provide a measuring device that can reduce the dependence on the specifications for each installation location and can be easily manufactured.
[0008] The measuring device according to several embodiments measures parameters of a sheet - shaped object, and the measuring device includes: a pair of sensor heads that move horizontally while being separated from each other and facing each other, with the object located in the middle for scanning; a support that supports the pair of sensor heads so as to be horizontally movable; and an electrical component unit that controls the measurement of the parameters using the sensor heads, and the electrical component unit can change the configuration to either a first position on one side of the support or a second position on the other side according to the installation location of the measuring device.
[0009] Thus, it is possible to reduce the dependence of the measuring device on the specifications of each installation location and easily manufacture the measuring device. Regarding the measuring device, the electrical component unit can change its configuration to either the first position or the second position according to the installation location of the measuring device. Therefore, it is possible to always manufacture the same model of the measuring device during the manufacturing of the measuring device. It is possible to manufacture and deliver the same model of the measuring device, and it is possible to select an appropriate position from the first position and the second position according to the installation location of the production plant of the object to be produced and configure the electrical component unit.
[0010] Based on the measuring device of one embodiment, it can be configured such that the electrical component unit has an installation structure for mounting the electrical component unit on the support body at the first position or the second position. Thus, it is possible to stably and easily fix the electrical component unit to the support body at the first position or the second position.
[0011] Based on the measuring device of one embodiment, it can be configured such that the support body has a first avoidance region and a second avoidance region where the object does not exist on the first position side and the second position side of the support body, respectively. Thus, it is possible to symmetrically form the structural part of the measuring device including the support body and a pair of sensor heads. Therefore, as described above, it is possible to always manufacture the same model of the measuring device during the manufacturing of the measuring device without considering inconvenience, and it is possible to make the measuring device perform actions symmetrically according to the installation location of the production line.
[0012] Based on the measuring device of one embodiment, it can be configured such that the pair of sensor heads set the first avoidance region as the origin region when the electrical component unit is in the first position, and set the second avoidance region as the origin region when the electrical component unit is in the second position. Thus, it is easy to conventionally set both the origin region of the pair of sensor heads and the electrical component unit inside as the device maintenance side.
[0013] Based on the measuring device of one embodiment, it can be configured such that the measuring device has a pair of switches, which are respectively mounted on the support body on the first position side and the second position side of the support body, and switch the definition of the origin of the sensor head and the function of restricting the movement of the sensor head according to the configuration of the electrical component unit. Thus, as described above, it is possible to always manufacture the same model of the measuring device during the manufacturing of the measuring device without considering inconvenience, and it is possible to make the measuring device perform actions symmetrically according to the installation location of the production line.
[0014] Based on the measuring device of one embodiment, it can be configured such that the measuring device has the cable which connects the pair of sensor heads and the electrical component to each other, and at least a part thereof is disposed outside the support. Thereby, the cable can be appropriately arranged along the support according to the movement of the electrical component from one of the first position and the second position to the other.
[0015] Based on the measuring device of one embodiment, it can be configured such that the support is an O-shaped frame having the following components: a pair of beams which respectively support the pair of sensor heads; a first bracket which connects the ends on one side of the pair of beams to each other; and
[0016] a second bracket which connects the ends on the other side of the pair of beams to each other. Thereby, the firmness of the support is improved.
[0017] Based on the measuring device of one embodiment, it can be configured such that the first position is a position on one side in the longitudinal direction of the O-shaped frame, and the second position is a position on the other side in the longitudinal direction. Thereby, the electrical component and the avoidance area of the pair of sensor heads can be arranged in the direction orthogonal to the conveying direction of the object according to the convention.
[0018] Based on the measuring device of one embodiment, it can be configured such that the object includes a battery electrode sheet. Thereby, the measuring device can measure parameters of the battery electrode sheet as a measurement object on the production line for producing the battery electrode sheet.
[0019] Based on the measuring device of one embodiment, it can be configured such that the parameter includes the basis weight of the object. Thereby, the measuring device can measure the basis weight of the sheet-shaped object on the production line for producing the sheet-shaped object.

[0025] Provide a more detailed description of the background and problems of the prior art.
[0026] There is a technology related to an on-line thickness gauge for measuring the basis weight of a battery electrode sheet produced by thinly coating a binder such as an active material on a metal foil and drying it using radiation such as beta rays and X-rays. In the production process of the battery electrode sheet, the positive electrode and the negative electrode are formed on different production lines respectively. For example, the positive electrode is formed by thinly and evenly coating a slurry on the surface of an aluminum foil, drying it in the next process, and then similarly coating it on the back of the aluminum foil and drying it in the next process.
[0027] Regarding the inspection in the coating and drying processes, sometimes measurements of the weight per unit area, i.e., the coating basis weight, and the shape measurement of the end face of the coating part, i.e., the edge, and image diagnosis of the dry surface state are carried out. Hereinafter, the measurement of the coating basis weight using an on-line thickness gauge will be mainly described.
[0028] For example, as shown in Patent Document 1, the upper sensor head and the lower sensor head are respectively moored to the upper beam and the lower beam of the O-shaped frame constituting the on-line thickness gauge. The upper sensor head and the lower sensor head horizontally move in the O-shaped frame in the left-right direction while being synchronized with each other, and scan the battery electrode sheet as the object. One of the upper sensor head and the lower sensor head has a radiation source that emits radiation such as beta rays and X-rays. The other has a detector that detects the radiation emitted from the radiation source and transmitted through the battery electrode sheet. The radiation source and the detector face each other during the scanning of the battery electrode sheet.
[0029] The on-line thickness gauge uses a pair of sensor heads including the upper sensor head and the lower sensor head to measure the transmission attenuation amount of radiation based on the battery electrode sheet as the object. The on-line thickness gauge performs the same measurement in advance for a plurality of samples with known basis weights and calculates a calibration curve. The on-line thickness gauge can calculate the basis weight of the object based on the relationship between the transmission attenuation amount and the pre-calculated calibration curve.
[0030] The on-line thickness gauge is roughly divided into two types: the type with the electrical equipment integrated and the type with the electrical equipment separated. The electrical equipment includes a transformer, a power supply, a control instrument, etc., and controls the measurement of the basis weight using a pair of sensor heads. The type with the electrical equipment integrated is the type in which the electrical equipment is built into the O-shaped frame. The type with the electrical equipment separated is the type in which the electrical equipment is not built into the O-shaped frame but is housed in another control console and the pair of sensor heads and the electrical equipment are connected to each other using cables.
[0031] Regardless of the type, the avoidance area of the sensor head is set outside the width direction of the sheet-shaped object. In this avoidance area, automatic periodic calibration of the sensor head is performed in a state where there is no object, or maintenance is carried out when the operation is stopped. The current in-line thickness gauge has an asymmetric footprint with respect to the object.
[0032] Figure 3 It is a schematic diagram showing an example of the layout of the coating operation line of the battery electrode sheet. In a battery electrode sheet production factory, sometimes multiple identical production lines are set up in parallel. For example, it is necessary for an operator, that is, a worker, to manage and operate multiple production lines L1 and L2 simultaneously. Usually, the operator manages two production lines L1 and L2 across a passage.
[0033] The operation ends of each device including the in-line thickness gauge face the passage side. Each device aligns its operation surface, that is, the front of the device, on the passage side. The battery electrode sheet passes through the inside of each device. For example, the battery electrode sheet passes through in the order of device M1, in-line thickness gauge M2, and device M3. Each device is designed to have different dimensions but the space on the operation end side of each device is reduced, and it is arranged such that the electrical installation part that requires a large space is configured on the side opposite to the operation end. Each device is operated from another operation passage located on the opposite side of the passage for maintenance and the like of each device.
[0034] As described above, the devices on the production line including the in-line thickness gauge are manufactured by designing the operation surface side as the front side and the device maintenance side as the back side. Therefore, usually, there are inconveniences such as the specifications being different depending on the installation location of the production line due to some devices. For example, in the Figure 3 This kind of inconvenience occurs between the in-line thickness gauge M2 on one production line L1 and the in-line thickness gauge M2 on another production line L2 arranged across the passage.
[0035] Therefore, it is necessary to clarify the specifications for each installation location on the production line when accepting a manufacturing order for each device, and then start the manufacturing of each device. As a result, the following various problems related to the manufacturing of measuring devices such as in-line thickness gauges arise.
[0036] For example, if the specifications are not clearly defined, the manufacturing of the measuring device cannot be started. If it takes time to determine the specifications, it is also conceivable that the delivery period of the measuring device is shortened after the specifications are clearly defined. It is difficult to manufacture the measuring device and maintain inventory before the specifications are clearly defined, and the fluctuation of the manufacturing load before and after the specifications are clearly defined increases. As a result, the manufacturing efficiency of the measuring device decreases.
[0037] Furthermore, if the specifications vary for each installation location, a larger number of inconvenient components are required for each specification, and the assembly methods also differ, thus reducing the assembly work efficiency. If a change in the installation specifications of the measuring device suddenly occurs on the production line for manufacturing the object, improvements to the measuring device and the new manufacture of a measuring device suitable for the new specifications are required. As a result, operational delays related to the production of the object and delivery delays when delivering the object as a product may occur.
[0038] To solve the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a measuring device that can reduce the dependence on the specifications of the measuring device for each installation location and is easy to manufacture the measuring device.
[0039] Next, an embodiment of the present invention will be mainly described with reference to the drawings.
[0040] Figure 1 It is a schematic diagram showing the schematic structure of the measuring device 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 2 It is when observing the measuring device 1 from the direction of the object S to be conveyed Figure 1 . In Figure 1 and Figure 2 , in order to make the components recognizable sizes, the scales of the components are appropriately changed. In Figure 1 and Figure 2 , the right side of the measuring device 1 is set as the first position P1, and the left side of the measuring device 1 is set as the second position P2. Next, "one side" refers to, for example, Figure 1 and Figure 2 the right side in. "The other side" refers to, for example, Figure 1 and Figure 2 the left side in. Referring to Figure 1 and Figure 2 , the structure of the measuring device 1 according to an embodiment will be mainly described.
[0041] The measuring device 1 measures parameters of the sheet-shaped object S. In the present invention, the "measuring device 1" includes, for example, an in-line thickness gauge. The "object S" includes, for example, a battery electrode sheet. The "parameters" include, for example, basis weight, weight per unit area, thickness, and surface position.
[0042] The measuring device 1 is, for example, assembled on a production line for manufacturing the sheet-shaped object S, and measures the parameters of the continuously manufactured and one-directionally conveyed object S without stopping the conveyance of the object S. The measuring device 1 has a support 10, a pair of sensor heads 20, an electrical component part 30, a cable 40, and a pair of switches 50. Although omitted in the drawings, the measuring device 1 according to an embodiment also has an operation panel for an operator to input instructions.
[0043] InFigure 1 and Figure 2 In Figure 2 , as an example, the case where a pair of sensor heads 20, an electric component unit 30, and a cable 40 are located on the first position P1 side is indicated by a solid line. In contrast, the case where a pair of sensor heads 20, an electric component unit 30, and a cable 40 are located on the second position P2 side instead of the first position P1 side is indicated by a double-dot chain line.
[0044] The support body 10 is configured such that the direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction D of the object S is the long side direction. The support body 10 is formed symmetrically with respect to the object S. More specifically, the support body 10 is formed to be vertically symmetric and horizontally symmetric with respect to the object S located at the central portion of the support body 10.
[0045] The support body 10 supports the pair of sensor heads 20 so as to be horizontally movable. More specifically, the support body 10 supports the pair of sensor heads 20 so as to be horizontally movable along the long side direction of the support body 10. The support body 10 has a pair of beams 11 that respectively support the pair of sensor heads 20. The support body 10 has a first bracket 12a that connects the end portions on one side of the pair of beams 11 to each other. The support body 10 has a second bracket 12b that connects the end portions on the other side of the pair of beams 11 to each other.
[0046] The first bracket 12a and the second bracket 12b are respectively self-standing support structures that support the beam 11. The first bracket 12a is connected to the end portions on one side of the pair of parallel beams 11. The second bracket 12b is arranged to be separated from the first bracket 12a in the horizontal direction and is connected to the end portions on the other side of the pair of beams 11. The pair of beams 11 are arranged vertically separated and parallel to each other. The pair of beams 11 have an upper side beam 11a arranged on the upper side and a lower side beam 11b arranged on the lower side.
[0047] The support body 10 is an O-shaped frame having an opening 13 surrounded by the upper side beam 11a, the lower side beam 11b, the first bracket 12a, and the second bracket 12b. The first position P1 is a position on one side in the long side direction of the O-shaped frame. The second position P2 is a position on the other side in the long side direction. The sheet-like object S that is the object of the measurement parameter passes through the opening 13 and is continuously conveyed in one direction from the front side to the inside of the support body 10.
[0048] The support body 10 has: an upper surface 14a of the O-shaped frame; a first side surface 14b that is orthogonal to the conveyance direction D of the object S; and a second side surface 14c that is orthogonal to the long side direction of the support body 10. The support body 10 has a first corner portion C1 where the second side surface 14c located on one side, that is, the right side of the support body 10, intersects the upper surface 14a. The support body 10 has a second corner portion C2 where the second side surface 14c located on the other side, that is, the left side of the support body 10, intersects the upper surface 14a.
[0049] The support body 10 has a first avoidance region R1 and a second avoidance region R2 where no object S exists on the first position P1 side and the second position P2 side of the support body 10, respectively. The first avoidance region R1 is located on one side in the longitudinal direction of the support body 10 with respect to the object S in the internal space of the O-shaped frame surrounded by the upper side beam 11a, the lower side beam 11b, the first support 12a, and the second support 12b. The second avoidance region R2 is located on the other side in the longitudinal direction of the support body 10 with respect to the object S in this internal space. In the first avoidance region R1 and the second avoidance region R2, the object S does not overlap with the pair of sensor heads 20 in the vertical direction.
[0050] The pair of sensor heads 20 move horizontally while being separated from each other, and scan the object S with the object S positioned in the middle. More specifically, the sensor heads 20 are arranged to be separated in the vertical direction with respect to the region through which the object S passes. The pair of sensor heads 20 are respectively fixed to a moving mechanism (not shown) and are supported by the moving mechanism so as to be horizontally movable with respect to the beam 11.
[0051] The pair of sensor heads 20 are horizontally moved along the beam 11 by the moving mechanism. The upper sensor head 20a arranged on the upper side among the pair of sensor heads 20 is supported by the upper side beam 11a by the moving mechanism and is horizontally moved along the upper side beam 11a by the moving mechanism. The lower sensor head 20b arranged on the lower side among the pair of sensor heads 20 is supported by the lower side beam 11b by the moving mechanism and is horizontally moved along the lower side beam 11b by the moving mechanism.
[0052] When the electrical component unit 30 is in the first position P1, the pair of sensor heads 20 set the first avoidance region R1 as the origin region, and when the electrical component unit 30 is in the second position P2, the pair of sensor heads 20 set the second avoidance region R2 as the origin region. The pair of sensor heads 20 set the avoidance region on the same side as the arrangement position of the electrical component unit 30 with respect to the support body 10 as the origin region.
[0053] When the pair of sensor heads 20 set the first avoidance region R1 as the origin region, they scan the object S while horizontally moving in the region on the other side, that is, the left side, of the support body 10 with respect to the first avoidance region R1 in the longitudinal direction of the support body 10. When the pair of sensor heads 20 set the second avoidance region R2 as the origin region, they scan the object S while horizontally moving in the region on the side, that is, the right side, of the support body 10 with respect to the second avoidance region R2 in the longitudinal direction of the support body 10. The origin regions of the pair of sensor heads 20 have spaces with the same sheet width with respect to the object S on both sides of the first avoidance region R1 and the second avoidance region R2.
[0054] One of the upper sensor head 20a and the lower sensor head 20b has a radiation source that emits radiation such as β-rays and X-rays. The other has a detector that detects the radiation emitted from the radiation source and transmitted through the object S. The radiation source and the detector face each other during the scanning of the object S based on the pair of sensor heads 20. The pair of sensor heads 20 detects parameters of the sheet-like object S using radiation. The pair of sensor heads 20 continuously outputs a detection signal of the acquired parameters toward the electrical component unit 30 via the cable 40.
[0055] The electrical component unit 30 controls the measurement of the parameters using the sensor heads 20. The electrical component unit 30 integrally includes control instruments such as a transformer, a power supply, a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), a control board, a driver for driving a moving mechanism that moves the pair of sensor heads 20, a measurement calculation unit, and an input / output connection port, etc. The electrical component unit 30 is configured such that each structural part is not directly mounted on the support body 10 as a housing, but is housed in a storage box in the form of, for example, a local storage device (localbox) formed as one piece.
[0056] The electrical component unit 30 can change its configuration to either the first position P1 on one side of the support body 10 or the second position P2 on the other side according to the installation location of the measuring device 1. The first position P1 and the second position P2 are respectively located on both sides in the longitudinal direction of the support body 10 of the measuring device 1. More specifically, the first position P1 is the position of the second side surface 14c on one side along the longitudinal direction of the support body 10. The second position P2 is the position of the second side surface 14c on the other side along the longitudinal direction of the support body 10. In Figure 1 and Figure 2 as an example, the electrical component unit 30 is located at the first position P1 on one side of the support body 10. For example, when changing the installation location of the measuring device 1 and different specifications are required regarding the configuration of the electrical component unit 30, the electrical component unit 30 can move from the first position P1 to the second position P2.
[0057] The electrical component unit 30 has an installation structure 31 for mounting the electrical component unit 30 on the support body 10 at the first position P1 or the second position P2. The installation structure 31 includes, for example, a structure that can be disassembled and assembled relative to the support body 10 by screwing, fitting, and clamping, etc. The installation structure 31 includes a hanging structure 31a in such a way that the electrical component unit 30 as a local storage device can be easily replaced and placed on the support body 10. Furthermore, the installation structure 31 includes a screw fastening structure 31b that is screwed to the side surface of the support body 10 via a fixing metal piece screwed to the side surface of the local storage device.
[0058] The electrical component unit 30 is, for example, at the first position P1, hooked to the first corner portion C1 on one side of the support body 10 by the hanging structure 31a and fixed to the second side surface 14c on the right side of the support body 10 by the screw fastening structure 31b. If the electrical component unit 30 moves, for example, from the first position P1 to the second position P2, it is hooked to the second corner portion C2 on the other side of the support body 10 by the hanging structure 31a and fixed to the second side surface 14c on the left side of the support body 10 by the screw fastening structure 31b.
[0059] The electrical component unit 30 of the measuring device 1, such as a control instrument and a driver, controls the moving mechanism that moves the pair of sensor heads 20 to generate power, and uses this power to move the pair of sensor heads 20 along the pair of beams 11 respectively. The electrical component unit 30 moves the upper sensor head 20a and the lower sensor head 20b synchronously with each other. While moving the sensor head 20 along the beam 11 using the moving mechanism, the electrical component unit 30 continuously acquires the detection signal of the parameter of the object S output from the sensor head 20.
[0060] The electrical component unit 30 of the measuring device 1, such as a measurement calculation unit, uses the pair of sensor heads 20 including the upper sensor head 20a and the lower sensor head 20b to measure the transmission attenuation amount of the radiation based on the object S based on the acquired detection signal. The electrical component unit 30 performs the same measurement in advance for a plurality of samples with known parameters and calculates the calibration curve. The electrical component unit 30 can calculate the parameter of the object S based on the relationship between the transmission attenuation amount and the pre-calculated calibration curve.
[0061] The cable 40 connects the pair of sensor heads 20 and the electrical component unit 30 to each other. On this basis, the cable 40 also connects the pair of switches 50 and the electrical component unit 30 to each other. The cable 40 includes a power line, a signal line, a communication line, and the like. At least a part of the cable 40 is arranged outside the support body 10. For example, the cable 40 is arranged in such a way that a part of it is built into the hollow portion of the O-shaped frame constituting the support body 10, and the remaining part extends from the central portion of the lower beam 11b to the outside of the O-shaped frame and is connected to the electrical component unit 30 from the outside.
[0062] As the electrical component unit 30 moves from the first position P1 to the second position P2, the arrangement of the outside of the O-shaped frame of the cable 40 changes. More specifically, when the electrical component unit 30 is at the first position P1, the cable 40 extends from the central portion of the lower beam 11b toward one side of the support body 10 to the electrical component unit 30. On the other hand, if the electrical component unit 30 moves from the first position P1 to the second position P2, the cable 40 extends from the central portion of the lower beam 11b toward the other side of the support body 10 to the electrical component unit 30.
[0063] The cable 40 is pulled out to the outside of the local storage device of the electrical component unit 30 and has an appropriate clearance so as to be able to move to the opposite side of the O-shaped frame together with the electrical component unit 30 even without changing the wiring inside the O-shaped frame and the local storage device. If the electrical component unit 30 has been reversed and the electrical component unit 30 is fixed to the support body 10 by the mounting structure 31, the cable 40 is appropriately arranged and fixed along the O-shaped frame.
[0064] A pair of switches 50 are respectively mounted on the support body 10 on the first position P1 side and the second position P2 side of the support body 10.
[0065] For example, the pair of switches 50 are respectively mounted on both sides of the first position P1 side and the second position P2 side along the upper side beam 11a of the support body 10. The pair of switches 50 are respectively located in the first avoidance area R1 and the second avoidance area R2 at positions outside the support body 10 in the long side direction of the support body 10 and closer to the outside than the upper side sensor head 20a when located in the origin area.
[0066] For example, the pair of switches 50 are respectively mounted on both sides of the first position P1 side and the second position P2 side along the lower side beam 11b of the support body 10. The pair of switches 50 are respectively located in the first avoidance area R1 and the second avoidance area R2 at positions outside the support body 10 in the long side direction of the support body 10 and closer to the outside than the lower side sensor head 20b when located in the origin area.
[0067] The switch 50 includes, for example, a limit switch. The pair of switches 50 are controlled by the electrical component unit 30 and switch the functions of defining the origin of the sensor head 20 and restricting the movement of the sensor head 20 according to the configuration of the electrical component unit 30.
[0068] For example, when the electrical component unit 30 is in the first position P1, the switch 50 mounted on the first position P1 side along the upper side beam 11a defines the origin of the upper side sensor head 20a. The switch 50 mounted on the second position P2 side along the upper side beam 11a restricts the movement so that the upper side sensor head 20a does not move excessively toward the other side of the support body 10. If the electrical component unit 30 moves from the first position P1 to the second position P2, the functions between the switch 50 mounted on the first position P1 side along the upper side beam 11a and the switch 50 mounted on the second position P2 side along the upper side beam 11a are switched with each other.
[0069] For example, when the electrical component unit 30 is at the first position P1, the switch 50 mounted along the lower side beam 11b on the first position P1 side defines the origin of the lower side sensor head 20b. The switch 50 mounted along the lower side beam 11b on the second position P2 side restricts the movement in such a manner that the lower side sensor head 20b does not move excessively toward the other side of the support body 10. If the electrical component unit 30 moves from the first position P1 to the second position P2, the functions between the switch 50 mounted along the lower side beam 11b on the first position P1 side and the switch 50 mounted along the lower side beam 11b on the second position P2 side are switched with each other.
[0070] Regarding the measurement device 1 as described above, the setting position of the local storage device of the electrical component unit 30 is usually inside on the device maintenance side according to the setting conditions of the measurement device 1 on the production line. For example, when the measurement device 1 is Figure 3 configured as the on-line thickness gauge M2 on the production line L1, the electrical component unit 30 is located on the opposite side of the passage. If it corresponds to Figure 1 and Figure 2 corresponding, the electrical component unit 30 is at the second position P2. For example, when the measurement device 1 is Figure 3 configured as the on-line thickness gauge M2 on the production line L2, similarly, the electrical component unit 30 is located on the opposite side of the passage. If it corresponds to Figure 1 and Figure 2 corresponding, the electrical component unit 30 is at the first position P1. However, it is not limited to the above manner, and the setting position of the local storage device of the electrical component unit 30 can be arbitrarily determined according to the situation of the operator for the production line, etc.
[0071] As a convention, an avoidance area for a pair of sensor heads 20 is also set on the device maintenance side, and this avoidance area is set as the origin area and the scanning of the pair of sensor heads 20 starts from this origin area. For example, when the measurement device 1 is Figure 3 configured as the on-line thickness gauge M2 on the production line L1, the avoidance area of the pair of sensor heads 20 is located on the opposite side of the passage. If it corresponds to Figure 1 and Figure 2 corresponding, the avoidance area of the pair of sensor heads 20 corresponds to the second avoidance area R2. For example, when the measurement device 1 is Figure 3 configured as the on-line thickness gauge M2 on the production line L2, similarly, the avoidance area of the pair of sensor heads 20 is located on the opposite side of the passage. If it corresponds to Figure 1 and Figure 2 corresponding, the avoidance area of the pair of sensor heads 20 corresponds to the first avoidance area R1.
[0072] However, it is not limited to the above method, and the avoidance area of the pair of sensor heads 20 can be arbitrarily determined according to the situation of the operator on the production line or the like. The origin area can be made to coincide with other devices on the production line by means of processing in the software of the electrical component unit 30.
[0073] According to the measuring device 1 related to the previous embodiment, it is possible to reduce the dependence of the measuring device 1 on the specifications of each installation location and easily manufacture the measuring device 1. Regarding the measuring device 1, the electrical component unit 30 can change the configuration to either the first position P1 or the second position P2 according to the installation location of the measuring device 1. Therefore, in the manufacture of the measuring device 1, the same model of the measuring device 1 can always be manufactured. The same model of the measuring device 1 can be manufactured and shipped, and an appropriate position among the first position P1 and the second position P2 can be selected according to the installation location of the production plant of the production object S and the electrical component unit 30 can be configured.
[0074] It is easy to move the local storage device of the electrical component unit 30. Therefore, major failures such as the measuring device 1 being unable to be installed on the production line due to specification errors and inconvenient misunderstandings as in the prior art are suppressed. Regarding the measuring device 1, the necessity of clarifying the specifications for each installation location on the production line before accepting a manufacturing order is reduced, and the manufacture of the measuring device 1 can be started before the specifications are clarified. Therefore, the delivery date of the measuring device 1 can also have a margin, thereby improving the productivity of the measuring device 1.
[0075] It is possible to achieve planned production of the measuring device 1 as described above, and it is also easy to manufacture the measuring device 1 and maintain inventory before the specifications are clearly defined. Therefore, fluctuations in the manufacturing load corresponding to the material load are suppressed. As a result, the manufacturing efficiency of the measuring device 1 is improved. For example, even when a large order of more than 100 batches is received, it is possible to show an advantage in the delivery date compared with competing companies through inventory production or the like.
[0076] Regarding the measuring device 1, there is no need to manufacture multiple inconvenient components, and the assembly method is the same. Therefore, the assembly operation efficiency is improved. Assembly errors in the assembly operation of the measuring device 1 are also suppressed. Furthermore, even if there is a sudden change in the installation specifications of the measuring device 1 on the production line for the production object, it is possible to cope with it only by changing the configuration of the electrical component unit 30 and the like at the site of the production line. Therefore, operation delays related to the production of the object S and delivery delays when the object S is delivered as a product are suppressed.
[0077] The electrical component unit 30 has an installation structure 31 for installing the electrical component unit 30 on the support 10 at the first position P1 or the second position P2, so that the electrical component unit 30 can be stably and easily fixed to the support 10 at the first position P1 or the second position P2.
[0078] The support 10 respectively has a first avoidance area R1 and a second avoidance area R2, so as to symmetrically form a structural part of the measuring device 1 including the support 10 and a pair of sensor heads 20. Therefore, as described above, the measuring device 1 of the same model can always be manufactured in the manufacture of the measuring device 1 without considering inconvenience, and the measuring device 1 can symmetrically perform actions according to the installation location of the production line.
[0079] Regarding the pair of sensor heads, the avoidance area on the same side as the electrical component unit 30 is set as the origin area, so that it is easy to conform to the convention to set the origin areas of the pair of sensor heads 20 and the electrical component unit 3 on the inner side as the device maintenance side.
[0080] A pair of switches 50 switch the functions of defining the origin and restricting the movement of the sensor head 20 according to the configuration of the electrical component unit 30. Thus, as described above, the measuring device 1 of the same model can always be manufactured in the manufacture of the measuring device 1 without considering inconvenience, and the measuring device 1 can symmetrically perform actions according to the installation location of the production line.
[0081] At least a part of the cable 40 connecting the pair of sensor heads 20 and the electrical component unit 30 to each other is arranged outside the support 10. Thus, the cable 40 can be appropriately guided along the support 10 according to the movement of the electrical component unit 30 from one of the first position P1 and the second position P2 to the other.
[0082] The support 10 is an O-shaped frame having the following components: a pair of beams 11; a first bracket 12a that connects the ends of one side of the pair of beams 11 to each other; and a second bracket 12b that connects the ends of the other side of the pair of beams 11 to each other. Thus, the firmness of the support 10 is improved.
[0083] The first position P1 is a position on one side in the long side direction of the O-shaped frame, and the second position P2 is a position on the other side in the long side direction, so that the avoidance areas of the electrical component unit 30 and the pair of sensor heads 20 can be arranged in a direction orthogonal to the conveying direction D of the object S according to the convention.
[0084] The object S includes a battery electrode sheet, so that the measuring device 1 can measure parameters of the battery electrode sheet as a measurement object on a production line for producing battery electrode sheets.
[0085] The parameter includes the basis weight of the object S, so that the measuring device 1 can measure the basis weight of the sheet-shaped object on a production line for producing sheet-shaped objects.
[0086] The support body 10 as an O-shaped frame and the electrical equipment unit 30 as a local storage device are separated from each other in structure so that the above-described manufacturing processes can be separated. Thus, it becomes easier to cope with mass production of the measuring device 1. For example, if electric instruments, control instruments, communication instruments, etc. are respectively installed in the hollow space of the O-shaped frame and wiring, piping, testing, etc. are performed, a bottleneck in the manufacturing volume during mass production will occur. However, according to the measuring device 1, the occurrence of such a bottleneck can be suppressed.
[0087] The electrical equipment unit 30 is configured as a local storage device, so that interchangeability can also be provided between multiple electrical equipment units 30. In this case, for example, even when a failure occurs in the electrical equipment unit 30 or the like and early restoration is required, restoration can be completed only by preparing and replacing the unit of another electrical equipment unit 30. Furthermore, by inspecting and managing the unit of the replaced electrical equipment unit 30, etc., it becomes easier to separate the problems that are the causes of the failure.
[0088] Those skilled in the art can understand that the present invention can be implemented in other specified ways other than the above-described embodiments without departing from its spirit or its essential features. Therefore, the foregoing description is an example and is not limited thereto. The scope of disclosure is not defined by the foregoing description, but by the appended claims. Several variations within the scope of their equivalents are included in all variations.
[0089] For example, the shapes, sizes, configurations, orientations, and numbers of the above-described respective structural parts are not limited to those shown in the above description and the drawings. If the shapes, sizes, configurations, orientations, and numbers of the respective structural parts can achieve their functions, they can be arbitrarily configured. Each structural element of the illustrated measuring device 1 is a functional concept. The specific manner of each structural element is not limited to the illustrated manner.
[0090] In the above-described embodiment, an installation structure 31 for installing the electrical equipment unit 30 on the support body 10 at the first position P1 or the second position P2 is described, but it is not limited thereto. The electrical equipment unit 30 may not have such an installation structure 31. In this case, the electrical equipment unit 30 can be arranged at a position separated from the support body 10 at the first position P1 or the second position P2.

[0092] In the above-described embodiment, it has been described that when the pair of sensor heads 20 are in the first position P1 of the electrical component unit 30, the first avoidance region R1 is set as the origin region, and when the electrical component unit 30 is in the second position P2, the second avoidance region R2 is set as the origin region. However, it is not limited thereto. The pair of sensor heads 20 may set the avoidance region on the opposite side of the arrangement position of the electrical component unit 30 with respect to the support 10 as the origin region. The pair of sensor heads 20 may change the avoidance region from one of the first avoidance region R1 and the second avoidance region R2 to the other according to the movement of the electrical component unit 30, or may fix the avoidance region to any one of the first avoidance region R1 and the second avoidance region R2.
[0093] In the above-described embodiment, it has been described that the pair of switches 50 switch the functions of defining the origin and restricting the movement of the sensor heads 20 according to the arrangement of the electrical component unit 30. However, it is not limited thereto. For example, when the avoidance regions of the pair of sensor heads 20 are fixed regardless of the movement of the electrical component unit 30, the pair of switches 50 may also switch the functions of defining the origin and restricting the movement of the sensor heads 20 not according to the arrangement of the electrical component unit 30.
[0094] In the above-described embodiment, it has been described that the measuring device 1 has the cable 40. However, it is not limited thereto. The measuring device 1 may not have the cable 40. For example, the pair of sensor heads 20 and the electrical component unit 30 may be connected to each other so as to be able to communicate by wireless communication. It has been described that the cable 40 extends from the central portion of the lower side beam 11b to the outside of the O-frame. However, it is not limited thereto. The cable 40 may extend from any one of the upper side beam 11a, the first bracket 12a, and the second bracket 12b to the outside of the O-frame instead of the lower side beam 11b.
[0095] In the above-described embodiment, it has been described that the support 10 is an O-frame. However, it is not limited thereto. The support 10 may be formed of a frame structure and a housing structure of any shape that allows the pair of sensor heads 20 to move horizontally to scan the object S. In addition to this, the support 10 may be formed of a box structure that leaves only a region through which the object S passes in the opening 13 and covers the entire other part of the opening 13.
[0096] In the above embodiment, the first position P1 on one side of the support body 10 is described as the position of the second side surface 14c on one side along the long side direction of the support body 10, but the present invention is not limited thereto. The first position P1 on one side of the support body 10 may be a position along the portion of the first side surface 14b of the support body 10 located on one side in the long side direction. The second position P2 on the other side of the support body 10 is described as the position of the second side surface 14c on the other side in the long side direction of the support body 10, but the present invention is not limited thereto. The second position P2 on the other side of the support body 10 may be a position along the portion of the first side surface 14b of the support body 10 located on the other side in the long side direction.
[0097] In the above embodiment, the first position P1 is a position on one side of the long side direction of the O-shaped frame, and the second position P2 is a position on the other side of the long side direction, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the first position P1 may be a position on one side of the short side direction of the O-shaped frame, and the second position P2 may be a position on the other side of the short side direction.
[0098] In the above embodiment, the object S is described as including a battery electrode sheet, but the present invention is not limited thereto. The object S may be any other product produced in a sheet form on a production line.
[0099] In the above embodiment, the measuring device 1 includes an online thickness gauge arranged on a production line, but the present invention is not limited thereto. The measuring device 1 may include any other relatively small or medium-sized device that may be inconvenient to use on a production line. A medium-sized device includes, for example, a device of a size that allows two operators to move a unit constituting the device.
[0100] Based on the description of the above embodiment, the storage box of the electrical component 30 having the local storage device structure can be provided with functions corresponding to the specifications such as dustproof, dripproof and EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) by appropriately selecting the functions.
[0101] In addition to the above-described embodiments, when the electrical equipment 30 uses air in the support 10 or the like, an air-related device for controlling the air may also be integrally included in the local storage device. In this case, in the measuring device 1, an air pipe for conveying air may be arranged along the support 10 in the same manner as the cable 40.
