[0002] This application claims priority to and the benefit of Korean Patent Application No. 10-2020-0086187, filed on Jul. 13, 2020, which is hereby incorporated by reference in its entirety. Technical Field
[0003] The present disclosure relates to a frame structure for a large commercial vehicle. Background Art
[0004] The statements in this section merely provide background information related to the present disclosure and may not constitute prior art.
[0005] Generally, a large commercial vehicle (particularly a bus vehicle) is one of the means of transport capable of transporting a large number of people. Recently, in consideration of the environment and the increase in passengers, a double-decker electric bus vehicle has been applied.
[0006] This double-decker electric bus vehicle of a large commercial vehicle adopts an independent suspension system, which is advantageous in terms of ride comfort, roll stability and steering stability compared to a non-independent suspension system.
[0007] In the case of this double-decker electric bus vehicle, ensuring the strength and rigidity of the vehicle body should be considered as the top priority. However, we found that when a panel structure was applied to strengthen the frame, the strength and rigidity of the vehicle body deteriorated.
