Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The invention relates to the field of lighting, in particular to a fog lamp and an optical system thereof and a vehicle with the fog lamp. Background Art
[0002] Front fog lights are installed at the front of the car to illuminate the road and provide safety warnings in bad weather such as rain, fog, dust and haze, improving the visibility of the driver and surrounding traffic participants. Because visibility is low in rain, fog, dust and haze, the driver's vision is limited, and lights can increase the driving distance, especially the yellow anti-fog lights have strong light penetration, which can improve the visibility of the driver and surrounding traffic participants, allowing oncoming vehicles and pedestrians to see each other from a distance.
[0003] The vehicle fog lamp of the prior art adopts halogen bulb as the light source, but the service life and energy consumption of halogen bulb are relatively large. With the popularization and application of LED in the automotive field, many brands of cars on the market adopt LED fog lamp. Figure 1 This is the light intensity test light distribution diagram for ECER19 fog lamp F3. The LED fog lamp needs to meet the test light intensity standard requirements and test light distribution. It cannot have excessive light intensity that affects the driving of the vehicle in front, and it must also ensure that the front fog lamp has a wide enough field of view and light uniformity.
[0004] Figure 2 An LED fog lamp of the prior art is explained, wherein the LED fog lamp adopts the optical reflection principle, and the LED fog lamp comprises an LED light source 10p, a metal circuit board 20p, a tortoise-plate reflective bowl 30p, and a heat sink 40p, wherein the LED light source 10p is welded to the metal circuit board 20p, and the metal circuit board 20p is fixed to the heat sink 40p, wherein the sheet structure of the tortoise-plate reflective bowl 30p reflects the light emitted by the LED light source 10p to form a light spot. The LED fog lamp of the prior art needs to adopt a vacuum aluminum plating process to form the surface of the tortoise-plate reflective bowl 30p, and the vacuum aluminum plating process has certain pollution to the environment. In addition, the cutoff line of the front fog light spot formed by reflection needs to have sufficient clarity, which requires a sufficient distance between the tortoise-plate reflective bowl 30p and the LED light source 10p, which results in part of the light being unable to be collected and utilized by the tortoise-plate reflective bowl 30p and being wasted. In addition, the tortoise-plate reflective bowl 30p reflects light in a manner such that the light direction emitted by the LED light source 10p needs to be perpendicular to the direction of travel of the vehicle, or at a certain angle, and the heat sink 40p needs to be placed above the LED, which is not conducive to the aluminum shell design of the heat sink of the entire lamp.
[0005] The existing LED fog lamps still have the following problems: low light collection efficiency and serious waste of light resources, which leads to insufficient light brightness and affects normal lighting use. The light emitted by the LED light source is a combination of blue light and yellow light. When the two different light rays pass through the optical lens, the refractive index of the same material is different, so the blue and yellow overflow problems are relatively serious. [0072] Referring to the accompanying drawings of the present invention Figures 3 to 12 , a fog lamp according to the first preferred embodiment of the present invention is explained in the following description. The fog lamp can be installed at the front end of a vehicle, that is, the fog lamp can be used as the front fog lamp of the vehicle. The fog lamp includes a lamp housing 10, a circuit board 20 arranged on the lamp housing 10, and an optical system 30, wherein the optical system 30 is arranged on the circuit board 20. The optical system 30 includes at least one light source 31 and an optical lens 32, wherein the at least one light source 31 is electrically connected to the circuit board 20, and the optical lens 32 is arranged at the front end of the light source 31 along the direction in which the light source 31 projects light. The light generated by the light source 31 is refracted by the optical lens 32 to form a searchlight path 300, and the light irradiated by the searchlight path 300 forms a searchlight area.
[0073] It is worth mentioning that in this preferred embodiment of the present invention, the light generated by the light source 31 is collected and refracted by the optical lens 32 to form sufficient light intensity and width, thereby meeting the standard requirements of the front fog lamp. It can be understood by those skilled in the art that the application scenarios of the fog lamp are only used as examples and not as limitations. Therefore, the fog lamp can also be applied to other equipment and instruments as a lamp with searchlight function.
[0074] Preferably, in this preferred embodiment of the present invention, the light source 31 is implemented as an LED light source, wherein the light source 31 is disposed on the circuit board 20, and the light source 31 is electrically connected to the circuit board 20. More preferably, the light source 31 is implemented as a single light source LED module, that is, the light source 31 is a single LED light-emitting unit. Optionally, in other optional embodiments of the present invention, the light source 31 may also be implemented as a multi-light source LED module, that is, the light source 31 includes a plurality of LED light-emitting units. Preferably, the LED light-emitting units of the multi-light source LED module are arranged linearly.
[0075] It is worth mentioning that, in the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the LED module used by the light source 31 is white light, or yellow light, or golden light.
[0076] like FIG. 6A to FIG. 6C As shown, the optical lens 32 includes a lens body 321 and a light incident portion 322 and a light exit portion 323 formed on the lens body 321, wherein the light incident portion 322 of the optical lens 32 faces the light source 31, and the light projected by the light source 31 is refracted by the light incident portion 322 of the optical lens 32 and then enters the lens body 321. The light exit portion 323 of the optical lens 32 is facing away from the light source 31, wherein the light is refracted outwards by the light exit portion 323 through the lens body 321, and is projected to form the searchlight path 300.
[0077] The light incident portion 322 of the optical lens is an inner concave surface formed on the side of the lens body 321 facing the light source 31, and the light exit portion 323 is an outer convex surface formed on the side of the lens body 321 facing away from the light source 31, wherein the light emitted by the light source 31 is refracted through both sides of the light incident portion 322 and the light exit portion 323 of the optical lens 32 and then projected outward to form the searchlight path 300.
[0078] A virtual central axis L is defined by the optical lens 32, and the virtual central axis L is located on the side of the optical lens 32 facing the light source 31, wherein the light incident portion 322 of the optical lens 32 presents a cylindrical surface characteristic that is concave inward based on the virtual central axis L, and the light incident portion 322 is bent along a horizontal direction perpendicular to the virtual central axis L, and its bending direction is toward the light source 31. The light generated by the light source 31 is collected by the light incident portion 322 of the optical lens 32, and refracted into the lens body 321 of the optical lens 32. Preferably, in this preferred embodiment of the present invention, the optical lens 32 presents a bilaterally symmetrical structural characteristic.
[0079] Preferably, in this preferred embodiment of the present invention, the light source 31 is disposed inside the optical lens 32 along the central axis L of the optical lens 32. The light emitted by the light source 31 in the horizontal direction is perpendicular to the light incident portion 322 of the optical lens 32, and the light emitted by the light source 31 in the horizontal direction is perpendicularly incident to the light incident portion 322 of the optical lens 32. Therefore, it can be understood by those skilled in the art that the light incident angle of the light incident portion 322 of the optical lens 32 is small, which can reduce the reflectivity of light. Accordingly, the optical lens 32 has a high light transmittance and a reduced light loss rate.
[0080] More preferably, the position of the light source 31 coincides with the position of the center point of the center axis L of the optical lens 32. In other words, the light source 31 is disposed at the center point of the center axis L of the optical lens 32, wherein the light emitted by the light source 31 along the horizontal position of the center of the optical lens 32 is freely diffused after passing through the optical lens 32, so as to improve the uniformity of the searchlight illumination and the width of the searchlight field of view.
[0081] Preferably, in this preferred embodiment of the present invention, the central angle of the light incident portion 322 of the optical lens 32 corresponding to the central axis L is α, where 60° ≤α≤90°. It can be understood that the optical lens 32 is generally a fan-shaped structure, wherein in the horizontal direction, the light generated by the light source 31 is refracted by the optical lens 32 and diffuses outward in a radial shape, that is, the light in the horizontal direction is freely diffused, so as to improve the uniformity of the fog lamp in the horizontal direction. As an example, Fig.10 FIG. 3 is a schematic diagram showing a light spot of the searchlight path 300 projected by the fog lamp when the central angle α of the light incident portion 322 of the optical lens 32 relative to the central axis L is 84°.
[0082] The ECE R19 front fog lamp light intensity measurement standard requirements are shown in the following table. The light spot formed by the searchlight path projected by the fog lamp needs to radiate the light intensity standard requirements.
[0083] Table 1ECE R19 front fog lamp light intensity measurement standard requirements
[0084]
[0085] like FIG. 6A to FIG. 6C As shown, the light incident portion 322 of the lens body 32 of the optical system 30 can be concave toward the direction of the light source 31 to collect and refract enough light and light intensity to meet the light intensity requirements of the fog lamp. The light passing through the lens body 321 is refracted and diffused by the light emitting portion 323 of the optical lens 32 to obtain a searchlight range of sufficient width and improve the uniformity of the searchlight optical path 300 to meet the requirements of the fog lamp for the searchlight width and range. The light emitting portion 323 of the optical lens 32 is further provided with an upper refractive section 3231, a middle refractive section 3232 and a lower refractive section 3233. The upper refractive section 3231 of the optical lens 32 extends upward from the middle refractive section 3232 as a whole, and the lower refractive section 3233 of the optical lens 32 extends downward from the middle refractive section 3232 as a whole.
[0086] After part of the light emitted by the light source 31 is refracted by the light incident portion 322 of the optical lens 32, it reaches the upper refractive section 3231 of the optical lens 32 via the lens body 321, and then is refracted by the upper refractive section 3231 of the optical transparent 32, and forms an upper refractive light path 301. After part of the light emitted by the light source 31 is refracted by the light incident portion 322 of the optical lens 32, it reaches the middle refractive section 3232 of the optical lens 32 via the lens body 321, and then is refracted by the middle refractive section 3232 of the optical transparent 32, and forms a middle refractive light path 302. After part of the light emitted by the light source 31 is refracted by the light incident portion 322 of the optical lens 32, it reaches the lower refractive section 3233 of the optical lens 32 via the lens body 321, and then is refracted by the lower refractive section 3233 of the optical transparent 32, and forms a lower refractive light path 303. It can be understood that the upper refraction light path 301 , the middle refraction light path 302 , and the lower refraction light path 303 formed by refraction of the light emitting portion 323 of the optical lens 32 together constitute the searchlight light path 300 .
[0087] Fig. 8A and Figure 8BThe vertical cross section of the optical system and the optical paths formed by the optical system are shown, wherein in the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the upper refractive optical path 301 formed by the refraction of part of the light emitted by the light source 31 through the upper refractive section 3231 tilts downward and evenly transitions to the middle refractive optical path 302. The middle refractive optical path 302 formed by the refraction of part of the light emitted by the light source 31 through the middle refractive section 3232 tilts downward to the lower refractive optical path 303. The lower refractive optical path 303 formed by the refraction of part of the light emitted by the light source 31 through the lower refractive section 3233 tilts downward from the middle refractive optical path 302 and evenly transitions.
[0088] Preferably, part of the light emitted by the light source 31 passes through the middle refractive optical path 302 formed by the middle refractive section 3232 of the optical lens 32 and tilts downward by 1°; part of the light emitted by the light source 31 passes through the upper refractive optical path 301 formed by the upper refractive section 3231 of the optical lens 32 and tilts downward by 1° to 7° and transitions evenly; part of the light emitted by the light source 31 passes through the lower refractive optical path 303 formed by the lower refractive section 3233 of the optical lens 32 and tilts downward by 1° to 6° and transitions evenly. It can be understood by those skilled in the art that the refraction angles of the light by the refractive sections of the optical lens 32 are used as examples here, not as limitations, and therefore, in other optional embodiments of the present invention, the refractive sections of the optical lens can be set to other angles.
[0089] Fig. 9 The cross-sectional view of the optical system 30 along the horizontal direction and the optical path formed by the optical system 30 are shown. The light generated by the light source 31 is converged and refracted by the light incident portion 322 of the optical lens 32, and then reaches the light exit portion 323 of the optical lens 32 via the lens body 321, and then refracted and diffused by the light exit portion 323 to the two sides of the optical lens 32, that is, radiated to both sides, so as to expand the searchlight width or searchlight range of the fog lamp, and improve the uniformity of the light of the fog lamp in the horizontal direction. In particular, based on the horizontal plane direction where the light source 31 is located, the light generated by the light source 31 is vertically incident on the light incident portion 322 of the optical lens 32, and reaches the light exit portion 323 of the optical lens 32 via the lens body 321. In this horizontal direction, the light generated by the light source has a small incident angle, low reflectivity, and high light transmittance, so as to reduce light loss.
[0090] Those skilled in the art should understand that the light source 31 itself has a certain width and length, and therefore the light generated by the light source 31 is vertically incident on the light incident portion 322 of the optical lens 32 within an appropriate range.
[0091] It is worth mentioning that in this preferred embodiment of the present invention, the lateral length of the optical lens 32, that is, the length of the optical lens 32 in the horizontal direction, is greater than the height of the optical lens 32, that is, the length of the optical lens in the vertical direction, so that the optical lens diffuses the light emitted by the light source 31 in the horizontal direction to form the searchlight path 300 required for the fog lamp.
[0092] Preferably, the distance between the point of the light emitting portion 323 of the optical lens 32 in any horizontal direction and the center point O of the virtual center axis L is the same, so that in the horizontal direction, the angle of refraction and diffusion of the light emitted by the light source 31 through the optical lens 32 is the same, and the light of the optical system 30 in the horizontal direction is freely diffused, thereby improving the uniformity of the light distribution in the fog lamp search area. In other words, in this preferred embodiment of the present invention, the light emitting portion 323 of the optical lens 32 has an annular outer surface characteristic that bulges outward based on the virtual center axis L, and the center angle corresponding to the light emitting portion 323 of the optical lens 32 relative to the center axis L is the same as the center angle α corresponding to the light incident portion 322 of the optical lens 32.
[0093] As an example, in this preferred embodiment of the present invention, the lens focal point of the optical lens 32 is 30 mm. It will be understood that the light incident portion 322 has a cylindrical inner surface characteristic that is concave inward based on the virtual central axis L, and the light source 31 can be arranged close to the optical lens 32 to reduce the distance between the optical lens 32 and the light source 31, which is beneficial to the miniaturization of the structure of the optical system 30. It will be understood by those skilled in the art that the thickest thickness of the optical lens 32 is 12.3 mm, that is, the thickness of the middle part of the optical lens 32 is 12.3 mm, which is thinner than the thickness of the optical lens with a planar structure in the prior art, and is beneficial to reducing the loss of light.

Preferably, the upper edge portion 324 extends integrally from the upper end of the lens body 321, and the lower edge portion 325 extends integrally from the lower end of the lens body 321. The upper edge portion 324 and the lower edge portion 325 of the optical lens 32 are treated with dermatoglyphics, so that the light of the upper edge portion 324 or the lower edge portion 325 of the optical lens 32 is refracted and diffused by 0°-5°, so that the blue and yellow overflow light downward are remixed to form white light. In other words, part of the light generated by the light source 31 is refracted by the upper edge portion 324 or the lower edge portion 325 of the optical lens 32 and then remixed to form white light, so as to avoid blue or yellow overflow.
