TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to a key and trigger assembly, and more particularly, to a key and trigger assembly with a spring sheet. BACKGROUND
[0002] In terms of current usage habits of personal computers, a keyboard is one of the indispensable input devices for inputting characters, symbols or numbers. Furthermore, consumer electronic products or large processing equipment used in the industry all need to have a key structure as an input device to operate the electronic products and processing equipment.
[0003] However, in order to meet the current demand for thin electronic devices, the current key design manufacturers also face the problem of how to further reduce the height of the key and improve the pressing feeling so that the key can be further thinned and the pressing feeling can be improved.
[0004] Therefore, it is necessary to provide a trigger assembly and a key including the trigger assembly to meet the above needs. SUMMARY
[0005] The present invention is to provide a key and trigger assembly to reduce the height of the key and improve the pressing feeling.
[0006] The trigger assembly of the key disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention is used to be combined with a substrate and pressed by a key cap. The trigger assembly of the key includes a flexible guide portion and a reset spring sheet. The flexible guide portion includes a cover portion, a pressed portion and a trigger portion. The cover portion has a plurality of notches. The cover portion is used to be combined with the substrate. The pressed portion and the trigger portion are respectively connected to opposite sides of the cover portion. The pressed portion is used to be pressed by the key cap, and the trigger portion is used to trigger the substrate. The reset spring sheet includes a joint portion and a plurality of support leg portions. The joint portion is connected to the cover portion. The support leg portions are connected to the joint portion and respectively located in the notches.
[0007] Another embodiment of the present application discloses a keycap comprising a carrier, a substrate, a trigger assembly, a reciprocating member and a keycap. The substrate is mounted on the carrier and has a trigger circuit. The trigger assembly comprises a flexible guide and a reset spring. The flexible guide comprises a cover portion, a pressure receiving portion and a trigger portion. The cover portion surrounds a cover space and has a plurality of notches communicating with the cover space. The cover portion is combined with the substrate. The pressure receiving portion is connected to a side of the cover portion facing away from the cover space. The trigger portion is connected to a side of the cover portion facing the cover space. The reset spring comprises an engaging portion and a plurality of supporting legs. The engaging portion is connected to the side of the cover portion facing the cover space. The supporting legs are connected to the engaging portion and are respectively movably located in the notches. One side of the reciprocating member is mounted on the carrier. The keycap is mounted on the other side of the reciprocating member so that the keycap moves relative to the carrier through the reciprocating member and drives the trigger portion of the trigger assembly to trigger the trigger circuit.
[0008] According to the keycap and the trigger assembly of the above-mentioned embodiments, in addition to mounting the reset spring on the substrate through the flexible guide, the design of the notches of the flexible guide avoids the flexible guide interfering with the movement space of the supporting legs. Because the mounting of the reset spring and the required movement space are both completed through the original flexible guide, and no additional frame is required, the height of the keycap can be reduced, and the keycap can be further thinned and the pressing feeling can be improved.
[0009] The above description of the present application and the following description of the embodiments are used to demonstrate and explain the principles of the present application, and provide further explanation of the scope of the claims of the present application. [0065] Please refer to Figures 1 to 6 . Figure 1 is a cross-sectional view of a key according to the first embodiment of the present application. Figure 2 is Figure 1 a perspective view of a trigger assembly. Figure 3 is Figure 2 an exploded view. Figure 4 is Figure 2 a perspective view of the trigger assembly from another angle. Figure 5 is Figure 2 a cross-sectional view taken along the 5-5 section line of the trigger assembly. Figure 6 is Figure 5 a cross-sectional view of the trigger assembly of the key under pressure.
[0066] As Figure 1As shown, the key 1 of the present embodiment is applied to a keyboard of a notebook computer or a keyboard of a desktop computer. The key 1 comprises a carrier 20, a substrate 30, a triggering component 10, a reciprocating component 40 and a key cap 50. The substrate 30 is a circuit board which is installed on the carrier 20 and has a triggering circuit (not shown). The triggering component 10 is disposed on the substrate 30. The reciprocating component 40 is installed on the carrier 20 and the key cap 50 respectively on opposite sides of the reciprocating component 40, and the reciprocating component 40 is, for example, a structure of scissors, airfoil or the like which can make the key cap 50 relatively close to or far away from the carrier 20, so that the key cap 50 can move relative to the carrier 20. In addition, the key cap 50 can drive the triggering component 10 to actuate when moving relative to the carrier 20, thereby triggering the triggering circuit of the substrate 30, the details of which will be described later.
[0067] As shown, the triggering component 10 of the key of the present embodiment comprises a flexible guide part 100 and a reset spring 200. Figures 2 to 5
[0068] The flexible guide part 100 comprises a cover part 110, a pressure receiving part 120 and a triggering part 130. The cover part 110 surrounds a cover space S, and the cover part 110 has a plurality of notches O which communicate with the cover space S. The cover part 110 is combined with the substrate 30. The pressure receiving part 120 and the triggering part 130 are connected to opposite sides of the cover part 110 respectively. Further, the pressure receiving part 120 is connected to and protrudes from a side of the cover part 110 which faces away from the cover space S, and is pressed by the key cap 50. The triggering part 130 is connected to and protrudes from a side of the cover part 110 which faces the cover space S, and is used to be driven by the key cap 50 to trigger the triggering circuit of the substrate 30. In detail, the cover part 110 can further comprise a top cover section 111, a plurality of side cover sections 112 and a plurality of combination sections 113. The side cover sections 112 are connected to the top cover section 111, and any two adjacent side cover sections 112 are separated to form the notches O. The combination sections 113 are connected to a side of the side cover sections 112 which is away from the top cover section 111 respectively. The combination sections 113 are fixed to the substrate 30 by, for example, pasting or the like. The pressure receiving part 120 and the triggering part 130 are located on opposite sides of the top cover section 111 respectively, and the side of the triggering part 130 which is away from the top cover section 111 has an outward convex curved surface 131 (as shown in Figure 5 By pressing the substrate 30 through the outward convex curved surface 131, the force of the triggering part 130 pressing the substrate 30 can be more concentrated, so as to improve the triggering effect.
[0069] In the present embodiment, the side of the triggering part 130 which is away from the top cover section 111 is designed as the outward convex curved surface 131, but it is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the side of the triggering part which is away from the top cover section can also be designed as a flat surface.
[0070] As shown, the triggering component 10 of the key of the present embodiment comprises a flexible guide part 100 and a reset spring 200. Figure 5 As shown, in this embodiment, the thicknesses T1, T2 of the top cover section 111 and the side cover sections 112 are the same to improve the pressing feeling, but the present application is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the thicknesses of the top cover section and the side cover sections can also be different. In addition, the thicknesses T1, T2 of the top cover section 111 and the side cover sections 112 are, for example, between 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm, such as 0.3 mm.
[0071] The flexible guide 100 is, for example, made of rubber, but the present application is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the flexible guide 100 can also be made of Mylar or polyethylene terephthalate (PET). However, compared with the flexible guide 100 made of Mylar or polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the flexible guide 100 made of rubber has a longer service life and less noise.
[0072] The reset spring 200 is, for example, a metal spring and includes an engaging portion 210 and a plurality of support leg portions 220. The engaging portion 210 of the reset spring 200 has an opening 211. The engaging portion 210 is, for example, connected to the side of the top cover section 111 of the cover 110 facing the cover space S by placement or adhesion, and at least a portion of the trigger portion 130 of the flexible guide 100 protrudes from the opening 211. The support leg portions 220 are connected to the periphery of the engaging portion 210 and are respectively movably located in the notches O. The size of the notches O matches the size of the support leg portions 220 to avoid interference of the flexible guide 100 with the outward expansion movement space of the support leg portions 220.
[0073] As shown, Figure 1 With Figure 6 As shown, when the flexible guide 100 is pressed by the keycap 50 (under the action of the external force F), the keycap 50 is moved downward along the direction a, the support leg portions 220 are expanded outward by allowing the end of the support leg portions 220 away from the engaging portion 210 to pass through the notches O, and the keycap 50 and the substrate 30 jointly press the reset spring 200 to make the reset spring 200 accumulate elastic potential energy. When the flexible guide 100 is no longer pressed by the keycap 50 (not under the action of the external force F), because of the design that the flexible guide 100 and the reset spring 200 are combined by soft material such as rubber and hard material such as metal, the reset spring 200 can help the flexible guide 100 to rebound. In this way, in addition to being able to improve the pressing feeling of the key 1, the service life of the key 1 can also be extended.
[0074] The support foot 220 includes a tilted section 221 and a flat section 222 connected together. One end of the tilted section 221 is connected to the joint 210. The flat section 222 is connected to the other end of the tilted section 221 and is flat against the substrate 30 in a surface manner, thereby preventing the support foot 220 from scratching the substrate 30 when it expands outward.
[0075] In the above embodiment, the joining portion 210 is fixed to the covering portion 110 by means of placement or adhesion, but is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the joining portion may also be connected to the covering portion by melting.
[0076] In the above embodiment, in addition to mounting the reset spring 200 to the substrate 30 via the flexible guide portion 100, the button 1 also avoids the flexible guide portion 100 interfering with the movement space of the support foot 220 through the design of the notch O of the flexible guide portion 100. Since the installation of the reset spring 200 and the required movement space are both completed by the original flexible guide portion 100, and no additional frame is required, the height of the button 1 can be reduced, thereby further thinning the button 1 and improving the pressing feel.
[0077] In the above embodiments, the engagement portion 210 of the reset spring 200 is circular, but this is not a limitation; in other embodiments, the engagement portion of the reset spring can also be square. Furthermore, in the above embodiments, the number of support legs 220 for the reset spring 200 is four, but this is not a limitation. In other embodiments, the number of support legs for the reset spring can also be two, or other multiple numbers.
[0078] In the above embodiments, the flexible guide portion 100 of button 1 and the reset spring 200 are engaged by means such as placement or adhesion, but this is not a limitation. Please refer to Figure 7 and Figure 8 . Figure 7 This is a perspective view of the triggering component of the button according to the second embodiment of the present invention. Figure 8 for Figure 7 A cross-sectional schematic diagram. The trigger component 10a in this embodiment is used to replace... Figure 1 The trigger component 10 of button 1, and the trigger component 10a and Figure 1 The connection and actuation relationship of the carrier 20, base plate 30, reciprocating component 40 and keycap 50 are the same, so they will not be described again. The following will describe the trigger component 10a.
[0079] The button triggering component 10a in this embodiment includes a flexible guide part 100a and a reset spring 200a.
[0080] The flexible guide 100a comprises a cover portion 110a, a pressure receiving portion 120a, and a trigger portion 130a. The cover portion 110a surrounds a cover space S, and has a plurality of openings O communicating with the cover space S. The cover portion 110a is coupled to the substrate 30 (as shown in Figure 1 The pressure receiving portion 120a is connected to and protrudes from a side of the cover portion 110a facing away from the cover space S, and is pressed by the keycap 50 (as shown in Figure 1 The trigger portion 130a is connected to and protrudes from a side of the cover portion 110a facing the cover space S, and is used to trigger the trigger circuit of the substrate 30 by the keycap 50. In detail, the cover portion 110a comprises a top cover segment 111a, a plurality of side cover segments 112a, and a plurality of coupling segments 113a. The side cover segments 112a are connected to the top cover segment 111a, and any two adjacent side cover segments 112a are separated to form the openings O. The coupling segments 113a are respectively connected to a side of the side cover segments 112a away from the top cover segment 111a. The coupling segments 113a are fixed to the substrate 30 by, for example, adhesion. The pressure receiving portion 120a and the trigger portion 130a are respectively located on opposite sides of the top cover segment 111a, and the side of the trigger portion 130a away from the top cover segment 111a has an outward convex curved surface 131a. Pressing the substrate 30 by the outward convex curved surface 131a can make the force of the trigger portion 130a pressing the substrate 30 more concentrated, so as to improve the triggering effect.
[0081] In the embodiment, the side of the trigger portion 130a away from the top cover segment 111a is designed as the outward convex curved surface 131a, but is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the side of the trigger portion away from the top cover segment can also be designed as a flat surface.
[0082] In the embodiment, the thicknesses of the top cover segment 111a and the side cover segments 112a are the same to improve the pressing feeling, but are not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the thicknesses of the top cover segment and the side cover segments can also be different. In addition, the thicknesses of the top cover segment 111a and the side cover segments 112a are, for example, between 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm, such as 0.3 mm.
[0083] The flexible guide 100a is made of rubber, for example, but is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the flexible guide 100a can also be made of Mylar or polyethylene terephthalate (PET). However, compared with the flexible guide 100a made of Mylar or polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the flexible guide 100a made of rubber has a longer service life and is quieter.
[0084] The reset spring 200a is, for example, a metal spring, and includes an engaging portion 210a and a plurality of supporting legs 220a. The engaging portion 210a of the reset spring 200a has an opening 211a.
[0085] The engaging portion 210a of the reset spring 200a is combined with the top cover section 111a of the cover portion 110a by means of in-mold injection molding. The supporting legs 220a are connected to the periphery of the engaging portion 210a and are respectively movably located in the gaps O. The gaps O are sized to match the size of the supporting legs 220a, so as to avoid interference of the flexible guide portion 100a with the movement space of the supporting legs 220a.
[0086] The supporting legs 220a include a connected inclined section 221a and a flat section 222a. One end of the inclined section 221a is connected to the engaging portion 210a. The flat section 222a is connected to the other end of the inclined section 221a and is flatly attached to the substrate 30 (as shown in Figure 1 ), so as to avoid scratching the substrate 30 when the supporting legs 220a move outward.
[0087] In the above embodiment, the key 1 directly presses the trigger circuit of the substrate 30 through the flexible guide portion 100, but this is not limiting. Please refer to Figure 9 and Figure 10 . Figure 9 is a perspective view of a trigger assembly of a key according to a third embodiment of the present application. Figure 10 is a sectional view of Figure 9 . The trigger assembly 10b of the present embodiment is used to replace the trigger assembly 10 of the key 1 of Figure 1 , and the connection relationship and the actuation relationship of the trigger assembly 10b with the carrier 20, the substrate 30, the reciprocating member 40 and the key cap 50 are the same as those of Figure 1 , and thus will not be described again. The following will be described with respect to the trigger assembly 10b.
[0088] The trigger assembly 10b of the key of the present embodiment includes a flexible guide portion 100b and a reset spring 200b.
[0089] The flexible guide portion 100b includes a cover portion 110b, a pressure receiving portion 120b and a trigger portion 130b. The cover portion 110b surrounds a cover space S, and has a plurality of gaps O communicating with the cover space S. The cover portion 110b is combined with the substrate 30 (as shown in Figure 1 ). The pressure receiving portion 120b is connected to and protrudes from a side of the cover portion 110b facing away from the cover space S, and is pressed by the key cap 50 (as shown in Figure 1The trigger portion 130b is connected to and protrudes from the cover portion 110b facing the cover space S, and is used to trigger the trigger circuit of the substrate 30 by the keycap 50. In detail, the cover portion 110b comprises a top cover segment 111b, a plurality of side cover segments 112b, and a plurality of connecting segments 113b. The side cover segments 112b are connected to the top cover segment 111b, and any two adjacent side cover segments 112b are separated to form the gaps O. The connecting segments 113b are respectively connected to the side cover segments 112b away from the top cover segment 111b. The connecting segments 113b are fixed to the substrate 30 by, for example, adhesion. The pressing portion 120b and the trigger portion 130b are respectively located on opposite sides of the top cover segment 111b, and the trigger portion 130b away from the top cover segment 111b has an inclined surface 131b.
[0090] In the embodiment, the thickness of the top cover segment 111b and the side cover segments 112b is the same to improve the pressing feeling, but is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the thickness of the top cover segment and the side cover segments can also be different. In addition, the thickness of the top cover segment 111b and the side cover segments 112b is, for example, between 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm, such as 0.3 mm.
[0091] The flexible guide portion 100b is made of rubber, but is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the flexible guide portion 100b can also be made of Mylbr or polyethylene terephthalate (PET). However, compared with the flexible guide portion 100b made of Mylbr or polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the flexible guide portion 100b made of rubber has a longer service life and less noise.
[0092] The reset spring 200b is, for example, a metal spring, and comprises an engaging portion 210b and a plurality of support leg portions 220b. The engaging portion 210b of the reset spring 200b has an opening 211b and a pressing spring 212b.
[0093] The engaging portion 210b is connected to the side of the cover portion 110b facing the cover space S by, for example, placement or adhesion, and at least a portion of the trigger portion 130b of the flexible guide portion 100b protrudes from the opening 211b, and the pressing spring 212b is attached to the inclined surface 131b and used to press the substrate 30. The support leg portions 220b are connected to the periphery of the engaging portion 210b and are respectively movably located in the gaps O. The size of the gap O matches the size of the support leg portion 220b to avoid interference of the flexible guide portion 100b with the movement space of the support leg portion 220b.
[0094] The support leg 220b comprises a slanted section 221b and a flat section 222b. The slanted section 221b is connected to the joint 210b. The flat section 222b is connected to the other end of the slanted section 221b and is flatly attached to the substrate 30, thereby avoiding scratching the substrate 30 when the support leg 220b is expanded outwardly.
[0095] The joint 210b of the above embodiment is fixed to the cover 110b by, for example, placing or adhering, but is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the joint can be connected to the cover by melting.
[0096] The above Figure 9 In the embodiment, the flexible guide 100b of the key is connected to the reset spring 200b by, for example, placing or adhering, but is not limited thereto. Please refer to Figure 11 and Figure 12 . Figure 11 A perspective view of a trigger assembly of a key according to a fourth embodiment of the present application. Figure 12 A cross-sectional view of Figure 11 The trigger assembly 10c of the present embodiment is used to replace the trigger assembly 10 of the key 1 of Figure 1 The connection and actuation relationship between the trigger assembly 10c and the carrier 20, the substrate 30, the shuttle 40 and the keycap 50 are the same as those of the trigger assembly 10 of the key 1 of Figure 1 Therefore, the following will be described with respect to the trigger assembly 10c.
[0097] The trigger assembly 10c of the key of the present embodiment comprises a flexible guide 100c and a reset spring 200c.
[0098] The flexible guide 100c comprises a cover 110c, a pressure receiving portion 120c and a trigger portion 130c. The cover 110c surrounds a cover space S and has a plurality of openings O communicating with the cover space S. The cover 110c is combined with the substrate 30 (as shown in Figure 1 The pressure receiving portion 120c is connected to and protrudes from a side of the cover 110c opposite to the cover space S, for example, and is pressed by the keycap 50 (as shown in Figure 1The trigger portion 130c is connected to and protrudes from the cover portion 110c on the side facing the cover space S, and is used to trigger the trigger circuit of the base plate 30 by the keycap 50. In detail, the cover portion 110c comprises a top cover segment 111c, a plurality of side cover segments 112c, and a plurality of connecting segments 113c. The top cover segment 111c has an opening 1111c. The side cover segments 112c are connected to the top cover segment 111c, and any two adjacent side cover segments 112c are separated to form the gaps O. The connecting segments 113c are respectively connected to the side cover segments 112c on the side away from the top cover segment 111c. The connecting segments 113c are fixed to the base plate 30 by, for example, adhesion. The pressing portion 120c and the trigger portion 130c are respectively located on the opposite sides of the top cover segment 111c, and the trigger portion 130c on the side away from the top cover segment 111c has an inclined surface 131c.
[0099] In the embodiment, the thickness of the top cover segment 111c and the side cover segments 112c is the same to improve the pressing feeling, but is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the thickness of the top cover segment and the side cover segments can also be different. In addition, the thickness of the top cover segment 111c and the side cover segments 112c is, for example, between 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm, such as 0.3 mm.
[0100] The flexible guide portion 100c is made of rubber, but is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the flexible guide portion 100c can also be made of Mylcr or polyethylene terephthalate (PET). However, compared with the flexible guide portion 100c made of Mylcr or polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the flexible guide portion 100c made of rubber has a longer service life and less noise.
[0101] The reset spring 200c is, for example, a metal spring, and comprises an engaging portion 210c and a plurality of support leg portions 220c. The engaging portion 210c of the reset spring 200c is combined with the top cover segment 111c of the cover portion 110c by in-mold injection molding. The support leg portions 220c are connected to the periphery of the engaging portion 210c and are respectively movably located in the gaps O. The size of the gap O matches the size of the support leg portion 220c to avoid interference of the flexible guide portion 100c with the outward expansion movement space of the support leg portion 220c.
[0102] The engaging portion 210c of the reset spring 200c has an opening 211c and a pressing spring 212c. The trigger portion 130c is located in the opening 211c, and the pressing spring 212c is attached to the inclined surface 131c. The pressing spring 212c and the trigger portion 130c are exposed outside through the opening 1111c of the top cover segment 111c, and are used to press the base plate 30.
[0103] The support foot 220c includes a connected inclined section 221c and a flat section 222c. One end of the inclined section 221c is connected to the joint 210c. The flat section 222c is connected to the other end of the inclined section 221c and is flat against the substrate 30 in a surface manner, thereby preventing the support foot 220c from scratching the substrate 30 when it expands outward.
[0104] The above Figure 1 In this embodiment, the reset spring 200 of the button includes an inclined section 221 and a flat section 222, but is not limited thereto. Please refer to [link to relevant documentation]. Figure 13 . Figure 13 This is a cross-sectional schematic diagram of the trigger component of the button according to the fifth embodiment of the present invention. The trigger component 10d in this embodiment is used to replace... Figure 1 The trigger component 10 of button 1, and the trigger component 10d and Figure 1 The connection and actuation relationship of the carrier 20, base plate 30, reciprocating component 40 and keycap 50 are the same, so they will not be described again. The following will describe the trigger component 10d.
[0105] The button triggering component 10d in this embodiment includes a flexible guide part 100d and a reset spring 200d.
[0106] The flexible guide portion 100d includes a cover portion 110d, a pressure-receiving portion 120d, and a trigger portion 130d. The cover portion 110d surrounds a cover space S and has a plurality of notches O communicating with the cover space S. The cover portion 110d is coupled to the substrate 30 (e.g., Figure 1 (As shown). The pressure-bearing portion 120d is connected to and, for example, protrudes from the cover portion 110d on the side opposite to the cover space S, and is subjected to the keycap 50 (as shown). Figure 1 (As shown) Pressing. The trigger portion 130d is connected to and, for example, protrudes from the side of the cover portion 110d facing the cover space S, and is used to trigger the trigger circuit of the substrate 30 by being driven by the keycap 50. In detail, the cover portion 110d includes a top cover section 111d, a plurality of side cover sections 112d, and a plurality of connecting sections 113d. These side cover sections 112d are connected to the top cover section 111d, and any two adjacent side cover sections 112d are separated to form these notches O. These connecting sections 113d are respectively connected to the side of these side cover sections 112d away from the top cover section 111d. These connecting sections 113d are fixed to the substrate 30, for example, by adhesive or other means. The pressing portion 120d and the trigger portion 130d are respectively located on opposite sides of the top cover section 111d, and the side of the trigger portion 130d away from the top cover section 111d has an outwardly convex arc surface 131d. By using the convex arc surface 131d to press against the substrate 30, the force of the trigger part 130d pressing against the substrate 30 can be more concentrated, thereby improving the triggering effect.
[0107] In this embodiment, the side of the trigger portion 130d away from the top cover section 111d is designed as a convex arc surface 131d, but the present application is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the side of the trigger portion away from the top cover section can also be designed as a flat surface.
[0108] In this embodiment, the thickness of the top cover section 111d and the side cover sections 112d is the same to improve the pressing feeling, but the present application is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the thickness of the top cover section and the side cover sections can also be different. In addition, the thickness of the top cover section 111d and the side cover sections 112d is, for example, between 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm, such as 0.3 mm.
[0109] The flexible guide portion 100d is, for example, made of rubber, but the present application is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the flexible guide portion 100d can also be made of Myldr or polyethylene terephthalate (PET). However, compared with the flexible guide portion 100d made of Myldr or polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the flexible guide portion 100d made of rubber has a longer service life and is quieter.
[0110] The reset spring 200d is, for example, a metal spring and includes an engaging portion 210d and a plurality of support leg portions 220d. The engaging portion 210d of the reset spring 200d has an opening 211d.
[0111] The engaging portion 210d of the reset spring 200d is bonded to the top cover section 111d of the cover portion 110d by means of adhesion. The support leg portions 220d are connected to the periphery of the engaging portion 210d and are respectively movably located in the notches O. The size of the notches O matches the size of the support leg portions 220d to avoid interference of the flexible guide portion 100d with the outward expansion movement space of the support leg portions 220d.
[0112] The support leg portion 220d includes a connected inclined section 221d and a warping section 222d. One end of the inclined section 221d is connected to the engaging portion 210d, and the warping section 222d is connected to the other end of the inclined section 221d. The support leg portion 220d abuts against the substrate 30 through the curved structure formed at the connection between the inclined section 221d and the warping section 222d, thereby avoiding scratching the substrate 30 when the support leg portion 220d expands outward.
[0113] Please refer to Figures 14 to 16 . Figure 14 It is a perspective view of a trigger assembly of a key according to a sixth embodiment of the present application. Figure 15 It is Figure 14 a perspective view from another angle. Figure 16 It is a perspective view along Figure 14The cross-sectional view is shown by section line 16-16. The trigger component 10e in this embodiment is used to replace... Figure 1 The trigger component 10 of button 1, and the trigger component 10e and Figure 1 The connection and actuation relationship of the carrier 20, base plate 30, reciprocating component 40 and keycap 50 are the same, so they will not be described again. The following will describe the trigger component 10e.
[0114] The button triggering component 10e in this embodiment includes a flexible guide part 100e and a reset spring 200e.
[0115] The flexible guide portion 100e includes a cover portion 110e, a pressure-receiving portion 120e, and a trigger portion 130e. The cover portion 110e surrounds a cover space S and has a plurality of notches O communicating with the cover space S. The cover portion 110e is coupled to the substrate 30 (e.g., Figure 1 (As shown). The pressure-bearing portion 120e is connected to and, for example, protrudes from the side of the cover portion 110e facing away from the cover space S, and is subjected to the keycap 50 (as shown). Figure 1 (As shown) Pressing. The trigger portion 130e is connected to and, for example, protrudes from the side of the cover portion 110e facing the cover space S, and is used to trigger the trigger circuit of the substrate 30 by being driven by the keycap 50. In detail, the cover portion 110e includes a top cover section 111e, a plurality of side cover sections 112e, and a plurality of connecting sections 113e. These side cover sections 112e are connected to the top cover section 111e, and any two adjacent side cover sections 112e are separated to form these notches O. These connecting sections 113e are respectively connected to the side of these side cover sections 112e away from the top cover section 111e. These connecting sections 113e are fixed to the substrate 30, for example, by adhesive or other means. The pressing portion 120e and the trigger portion 130e are respectively located on opposite sides of the top cover section 111e, and the side of the trigger portion 130e away from the top cover section 111e has an inclined surface 131e.
[0116] In this embodiment, the top cover section 111e and side cover section 112e of the covering portion 110e, as well as the pressure receiving portion 120e, all have multiple hollow structures 114e and 121e. Hollow structure 114e is, for example, a slot, and hollow structure 121e is, for example, a groove. The hollow structure 114e of the top cover section 111e and side cover section 112e can reduce the resistance when the trigger component 10e is actuated. The hollow structure 121e of the pressure receiving portion 120e provides a cushioning effect when the pressure receiving portion 120e is pressed, contributing to a soft feel. Furthermore, the hollow structures 114e and 121e are used to adjust the magnitude of the downward pressing force of the trigger component 10e. The more hollow structures 114e and 121e there are, or the larger the size of the hollow structures 114e and 121e, the smaller the downward pressing force. In other words, the feedback force and feel of the trigger component 10e can be adjusted by changing the size or number of the hollow structure.
[0117] In this embodiment, the top covering section 111e and the side covering sections 112e are identical to improve the pressing feel, but this is not a limitation. In other embodiments, the thickness of the top covering section and the side covering sections may also be different. Furthermore, the thickness of the top covering section 111e and the side covering sections 112e may be, for example, between 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm, such as 0.3 mm.
[0118] The flexible guide portion 100e is made of rubber, but is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the flexible guide portion 100e may also be made of Myler or polyethylene terephthalate (PET). However, compared to the flexible guide portion 100e made of Myler or polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the flexible guide portion 100e made of rubber has a longer service life and produces less noise.
[0119] The reset spring 200e is, for example, a metal spring and includes a connecting portion 210e and a plurality of support feet 220e. The connecting portion 210e of the reset spring 200e has an opening 211e and a pressing spring 212e.
[0120] The joint 210e is connected to the side of the cover 110e facing the cover space S, for example, by placement or adhesion. At least a portion of the trigger portion 130e of the flexible guide 100e protrudes from the opening 211e, and the pressing spring 212e is attached to the inclined surface 131e and used to press against the substrate 30. These support feet 220e are connected to the periphery of the joint 210e and are movably located in these notches O. The size of the notches O matches the size of the support feet 220e to avoid the flexible guide 100e interfering with the movement space of the support feet 220e.
[0121] The support foot 220e includes a connected inclined section 221e and a flat section 222e. One end of the inclined section 221e is connected to the joint 210e. The flat section 222e is connected to the other end of the inclined section 221e and is flat against the substrate 30 in a surface manner, thereby preventing the support foot 220e from scratching the substrate 30 when it expands outward.
[0122] In the above embodiment, the joining portion 210e is fixed to the covering portion 110e by means of placement or adhesion, but is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the joining portion may also be connected to the covering portion by melting.
[0123] Please see Figures 17 to 19 . Figure 17 This is a perspective view of the triggering component of the button according to the seventh embodiment of the present invention. Figure 18 for Figure 17 A three-dimensional diagram from another perspective. Figure 19 For along Figure 17 The cross-sectional view shown by section line 19-19. The trigger component 10f in this embodiment is used to replace... Figure 1 The trigger component 10 of button 1, and the trigger component 10f and Figure 1 The connection and actuation relationship of the carrier 20, base plate 30, reciprocating component 40 and keycap 50 are the same, so they will not be described again. The following will describe the trigger component 10f.
[0124] The button triggering component 10f in this embodiment includes a flexible guide part 100f and a reset spring 200f.
[0125] The flexible guide portion 100f includes a cover portion 110f, a pressure-receiving portion 120f, and a trigger portion 130f. The cover portion 110f surrounds a cover space S and has a plurality of notches O communicating with the cover space S. The cover portion 110f is attached to the substrate 30. The pressure-receiving portion 120f and the trigger portion 130f are respectively connected to opposite sides of the cover portion 110f. Further, the pressure-receiving portion 120f is connected to and, for example, protrudes from the side of the cover portion 110f facing away from the cover space S, and is pressed by the keycap 50. The trigger portion 130f is connected to and, for example, protrudes from the side of the cover portion 110f facing the cover space S, and is used to trigger the trigger circuit of the substrate 30 by being driven by the keycap 50. In detail, the cover portion 110f includes a top cover section 111f and a plurality of side cover sections 112f. The top cover section 111f is, for example, square in shape. These side cover sections 112f are connected to the top cover section 111f, and any two adjacent side cover sections 112f are separated to form these notches O. These side cover sections 112f are fixed to the substrate 30, for example, by adhesive or other means. The pressure-receiving portion 120f and the trigger portion 130f are located on opposite sides of the top cover section 111f, and the trigger portion 130f has an outwardly convex arc surface 131f on the side away from the top cover section 111f (e.g., ...). Figure 19 (As shown). By pressing the substrate 30 with the convex arc surface 131f, the force of the trigger part 130f pressing against the substrate 30 can be more concentrated, thereby improving the triggering effect.
[0126] In this embodiment, the side of the trigger portion 130f away from the top cover section 111f is designed as a convex arc surface 131f, but this is not a limitation. In other embodiments, the side of the trigger portion away from the top cover section may also be designed as a flat surface.
[0127] In this embodiment, both the top covering section 111f and the pressure receiving section 120f of the covering portion 110f have multiple hollow structures 114f and 121f. Hollow structure 114f is, for example, a slot, and hollow structure 121f is, for example, a groove. The hollow structure 114f of the top covering section 111f can reduce the resistance when the trigger component 10f is actuated. The hollow structure 121f of the pressure receiving section 120f provides a cushioning effect when the pressure receiving section 120f is pressed, contributing to a soft feel. Furthermore, the hollow structures 114f and 121f are used to adjust the magnitude of the downward pressing force of the trigger component 10f. The more hollow structures 114f and 121f there are, or the larger the size of the hollow structures 114f and 121f, the smaller the downward pressing force. In other words, the feedback force and feel of the trigger component 10f can be adjusted by adjusting the size or number of the hollow structures 114f and 121f.
[0128] like Figure 19As shown, in this embodiment, the section of the top covering section 111f connecting the pressure-receiving portion 120f and the side covering section 112f has a uniform thickness T to improve the pressing feel, but it is not limited to this. In other embodiments, the thickness of the section of the top covering section connecting the pressure-receiving portion and the side covering section may also be different. Furthermore, the thickness T of the top covering section 111f may be, for example, between 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm, such as 0.3 mm.
[0129] The flexible guide portion 100f is made of rubber, but is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the flexible guide portion 100f may also be made of Mylar or polyethylene terephthalate (PFT). However, compared to the flexible guide portion 100f made of Mylar or PFT, the flexible guide portion 100f made of rubber has a longer service life and lower noise.
[0130] The reset spring 200f is, for example, a metal spring and includes a connecting portion 210f and a plurality of support feet 220f. The connecting portion 210f of the reset spring 200f has an opening 211f. The connecting portion 210f is connected, for example, by placement or adhesion, to the side of the top cover section 111f of the cover portion 110f facing the covered space S, and at least a portion of the trigger portion 130f of the flexible guide portion 100f protrudes from the opening 211f. The support feet 220f are connected to the periphery of the connecting portion 210f and are movably located in the notches O respectively. The size of the notches O matches the size of the support feet 220f to prevent the flexible guide portion 100f from interfering with the outward expansion space of the support feet 220f.
[0131] The support foot 220f includes a connected inclined segment 221f and a warped segment 222f. One end of the inclined segment 221f is connected to the joint 210f, and the warped segment 222f is connected to the other end of the inclined segment 221f. The support foot 220f abuts against the substrate 30 through the curved structure formed at the connection between the inclined segment 221f and the warped segment 222f, thereby preventing the support foot 220f from scratching the substrate 30 when it expands outward.
[0132] Because the trigger component 10f in this embodiment has a low height, the flexible guide portion 100f in this embodiment may also include multiple assembly structures 115f. These assembly structures 115f are connected to the side cover section 112f and at least partially cover the notch O. When the reset spring 200f is installed in the flexible guide portion 100f, the support foot 220f is directly pressed into the notch O to fix the support foot 220f through the assembly structure 115f. In this way, the support foot 220f can be positioned in the notch O and will not fall out. In addition, there is a gap between the support foot 220f and the side cover section 112f to ensure that the flexible guide portion 100f will not interfere with the support foot 220f during actuation deformation. Furthermore, the side cover section 112f of the flexible guide portion 100f also provides a limiting effect on the joint portion 210f to prevent the reset spring 200f from disengaging during actuation.
[0133] In the above embodiment, the joining portion 210f is fixed to the covering portion 110f by means of placement or adhesion, but is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the joining portion may also be connected to the covering portion by melting.
[0134] In the above embodiments, the joint portion 210f of the reset spring 200f is circular, but this is not a limitation; in other embodiments, the joint portion of the reset spring can also be square. Furthermore, in the above embodiments, the number of support legs 220f for the reset spring 200f is four, but this is not a limitation. In other embodiments, the number of support legs for the reset spring can be changed to two, or other multiple numbers.
[0135] Please see Figures 20 to 22 . Figure 20 This is a perspective view of the triggering component of the button according to the eighth embodiment of the present invention. Figure 21 for Figure 20 A three-dimensional diagram from another perspective. Figure 22 For along Figure 20 The cross-sectional view shown by section line 22-22. The trigger component 10g in this embodiment is used to replace... Figure 1 The trigger component 10 of button 1, and the trigger component 10g and Figure 1 The connection and actuation relationships of the carrier 20, base plate 30, reciprocating component 40 and keycap 50 are the same, so they will not be described again. The following will focus on the trigger component 10g.
[0136] The button triggering component 10g in this embodiment includes a flexible guide part 100g and a reset spring 200g.
[0137] The flexible guide portion 100g includes a cover portion 110g, a pressure-receiving portion 120g, and a trigger portion 130g. The cover portion 110g surrounds a cover space S and has a plurality of notches O communicating with the cover space S. The cover portion 110g is attached to the substrate 30. The pressure-receiving portion 120g and the trigger portion 130g are respectively connected to opposite sides of the cover portion 110g. Further, the pressure-receiving portion 120g is connected to and, for example, protrudes from the side of the cover portion 110g facing away from the cover space S, and is pressed by the keycap 50. The trigger portion 130g is connected to and, for example, protrudes from the side of the cover portion 110g facing the cover space S, and is used to trigger the trigger circuit of the substrate 30 by being driven by the keycap 50. In detail, the cover portion 110g includes a top cover section 111g and a plurality of side cover sections 112g. The top cover section 111g is, for example, circular in shape. These side cover sections 112g are connected to the top cover section 111g, and any two adjacent side cover sections 112g are separated to form these notches O. These side cover sections 112g are fixed to the substrate 30, for example, by adhesive or other means. The pressure-bearing portion 120g and the trigger portion 130g are located on opposite sides of the top cover section 111g, and the trigger portion 130g has an outwardly convex arc surface 131g on the side away from the top cover section 111g (e.g., ...). Figure 22 (As shown). By pressing the substrate 30 with the convex arc surface 131g, the force of the trigger part 130g pressing against the substrate 30 can be more concentrated, thereby improving the triggering effect.
[0138] In this embodiment, the side of the trigger portion 130g furthest from the top cover section 111g is designed as a convex arc surface 131g, but this is not a limitation. In other embodiments, the side of the trigger portion furthest from the top cover section may also be designed as a flat surface.
[0139] In this embodiment, both the top covering section 111g of the covering portion 110g and the pressure receiving portion 120g have multiple hollow structures 114g and 121g. Hollow structure 114g is, for example, a slot, and hollow structure 121g is, for example, a groove. The hollow structure 114g of the top covering section 111g can reduce the resistance when the trigger component 10g is actuated. The hollow structure 121g of the pressure receiving portion 120g provides a cushioning effect when the pressure receiving portion 120g is pressed, contributing to a soft feel. Furthermore, the hollow structures 114g and 121g are used to adjust the magnitude of the downward pressing force of the trigger component 10g. The more hollow structures 114g and 121g there are, or the larger the size of the hollow structures 114g and 121g, the smaller the downward pressing force. In other words, the feedback force and feel of the trigger component 10g can be adjusted by adjusting the size or number of the hollow structures 114g and 121g.
[0140] like Figure 22As shown, in this embodiment, the section connecting the top covering section 111g and the pressure-receiving portion 120g and the side covering section 112g has a uniform thickness T to improve the pressing feel, but it is not limited to this. In other embodiments, the thickness of the section connecting the top covering section and the pressure-receiving portion and the side covering section may also be different. Furthermore, the thickness T of the top covering section 111g is, for example, between 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm, such as 0.3 mm.
[0141] The flexible guide portion 100g is made of rubber, but is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the flexible guide portion 100g may also be made of Mylar or polyethylene terephthalate (PGT). However, compared to the flexible guide portion 100g made of Mylar or PGT, the flexible guide portion 100g made of rubber has a longer service life and produces less noise.
[0142] The reset spring 200g is, for example, a metal spring, and includes a connecting portion 210g and a plurality of support feet 220g. The connecting portion 210g of the reset spring 200g has an opening 211g. The connecting portion 210g is connected, for example, to the side of the top cover section 111g of the cover portion 110g facing the covered space S by placement or adhesion, and at least a portion of the trigger portion 130g of the flexible guide portion 100g protrudes from the opening 211g. The support feet 220g are connected to the periphery of the connecting portion 210g and are movably located in the notches O respectively. The size of the notches O matches the size of the support feet 220g to avoid the flexible guide portion 100g interfering with the outward expansion space of the support feet 220g.
[0143] The support foot 220g includes a connected inclined segment 221g and a warped segment 222g. One end of the inclined segment 221g is connected to the joint 210g, and the warped segment 222g is connected to the other end of the inclined segment 221g. The support foot 220g abuts against the substrate 30 through the curved structure formed at the connection between the inclined segment 221g and the warped segment 222g, thereby preventing the support foot 220g from scratching the substrate 30 when it expands outward.
[0144] Because the trigger component 10g in this embodiment has a low height, the flexible guide portion 100g in this embodiment may also include multiple assembly structures 115g and 116g. These assembly structures 115g are connected to the side cover section 112g and at least partially cover the notch O. These assembly structures 116g are connected to the top cover section 111g and abut against each side of the reset spring 200g. When the reset spring 200g is installed on the flexible guide portion 100g, the support foot 220g is directly pressed into the notch O, so that the support foot 220g is fixed by the assembly structure 115g. In this way, the support foot 220g can be positioned in the notch O and will not fall out. In addition, there is a gap between the support foot 220g and the side cover section 112g to ensure that the flexible guide portion 100g will not interfere with the support foot 220g during actuation deformation. In addition, the assembly structure 116g of the flexible guide 100g also provides a limiting effect on the joint 210g to prevent the reset spring 200g from disengaging during operation.
[0145] In the above embodiment, the joining portion 210g is fixed to the covering portion 110g, for example, by placement or adhesion, but is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the joining portion may also be connected to the covering portion by melting.
[0146] In the above embodiments, the joint portion 210g of the reset spring 200g is circular, but this is not a limitation; in other embodiments, the joint portion of the reset spring can also be square. Furthermore, in the above embodiments, the number of support legs 220g for the reset spring 200g is four, but this is not a limitation. In other embodiments, the number of support legs for the reset spring can also be two, or other multiple numbers.
[0147] According to the button and trigger assembly of the above embodiment, in addition to mounting the reset spring to the substrate through the flexible guide, the design of the notch in the flexible guide also avoids the flexible guide interfering with the movement space of the support foot. Since the installation of the reset spring and the required movement space are both completed through the original flexible guide, and no additional frame is required, the height of the button can be reduced, thereby further thinning the button and improving the pressing feel.
[0148] Furthermore, there is no gap between the joint of the reset spring and the top cover section of the flexible guide, which can avoid unpleasant pressing feel such as empty travel.
[0149] Furthermore, because the flexible guide and the return spring are designed using a composite material of soft materials such as rubber and hard materials such as metal, the return spring helps the flexible guide to rebound. This not only improves the tactile feel of the button but also extends its lifespan.
[0150] Although the present invention has been disclosed above with reference to the foregoing embodiments, it is not intended to limit the present invention. Any person skilled in the art should be able to make some modifications and refinements without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Therefore, the scope of patent protection of the present invention shall be determined by the scope of the claims appended to this specification.
