[0046] See also Figure 1 , Figure 2A and Figure 2B . Figure 1 A schematic diagram showing a power module using an auxiliary supporting device according to an embodiment of the present invention, Figure 2A A schematic diagram showing an auxiliary supporting device according to an embodiment of the present invention, and Figure 2B Another perspective schematic diagram of the auxiliary support device according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown. The power module 1 includes a first circuit board, a second circuit board and an auxiliary support device 30, such as Figure 1 As shown, the first circuit board is used as the side board 20 and is vertically arranged on the second circuit board as the main board 10, and the auxiliary support device 30 is used to assist the side board 20 to maintain a vertical state on the main board 10. It should be noted that the types and positions of the electronic components on the main board 10 and the side board 20, the position of the side board 20 relative to the main board 10, and the size of the side board 20 are all determined according to the actual implementation situation. Figure 1 The middle main plate 10 and the side plates 20 are schematically shown in the form of empty plates.
[0047] The auxiliary support device 30 includes a first plate 31 and a second plate 32. The first plate 31 is parallel to the side plate 20, and the second plate 32 extends from the first plate 31 in a direction away from the side plate 20. In other words, the first plate 32 and the second plate 32 are two planes intersecting each other, wherein the first plate 31 is used to make the side plate 20 in a vertical state, and the second plate 32 is used to stabilize the vertical state of the side plate 20, for example, without tilting, shaking or tipping. In one embodiment, the first plate 31 and the second plate 32 can be implemented as an integral molding, but are not limited thereto.
[0048] Under this premise, the intersection angle and intersection position of the planes where the first plate 31 and the second plate 32 are located respectively can be implemented in various ways. For example, the two planes can intersect at 90° (such as Figure 2A and Figure 2B As shown), or they may intersect at other angles, for example, at any angle between 45° and 135°, as long as the second plate body 32 can provide sufficient support to ensure that the side panel 20 remains in a vertical state, and is not limited to the figure. Secondly, the extension length of the second plate body 32 away from the first plate body 31 is determined by the height of the side panel 20. That is, the extension length of the second plate body 32 relative to the first plate body 31 is positively correlated with the height of the side panel 20 in the normal direction of the main board 10. When the height of the side panel 20 along the D3 direction is higher, the distance between the end of the second plate body 32 and the first plate body 31 must be larger to be sufficient to support the side panel 20 from tilting or tipping over. For example, comparing Figure 2B and Figure 7 , Figure 7 The extension length L2 of the second plate 32a of the auxiliary support device 30a relative to the first plate 31a is greater than Figure 2B The second plate 32 of the auxiliary support device 30 has an extension length L1 relative to the first plate 31. Therefore, compared with the auxiliary support device 30, the auxiliary support device 30a can keep the side plate 20 with a higher height in the D3 direction (i.e., the normal direction of the main board 10) in a vertical state. In addition, since the side plate 20 carries electronic devices, the weight distribution of the side plate 20 may be uneven, resulting in the center of gravity being higher and / or biased to one side. For example, when a larger and / or heavier electronic device is set on one side and / or set at a higher position in the normal direction of the main board 10, for example, a heat sink that is often set on the side plate 20 is a larger and heavier device, the center of gravity of the side plate 20 may be biased to one side and / or higher. At this time, the increase in the extension length of the second plate 32 also helps to ensure that the side plate 20 is maintained in a vertical state. Similarly, if there is enough space in the side plate 20, the first plate 31 can also extend along the D3 direction to increase contact and support with the side plate 20.
[0049] The intersection position of the first plate 31 and the second plate 32 may vary. Figure 2A and Figure 2B As shown, the second plate 32 intersects the edge of the first plate 31. In another embodiment, as shown in FIG. Figure 2C As shown, the second plate 32 can also be disposed on the surface of the first plate 31, that is, not intersecting the edge of the first plate 31. Therefore, the intersection position can be changed according to actual application requirements and is not limited to that shown in the drawings.
[0050] Furthermore, at both ends of the intersection line of the first plate body 31 and the second plate body 32, the first plate body 31 and the second plate body 32 are coplanar at one end, and the first plate body 31 protrudes from the second plate body 32 at the other end. Specifically, the first plate body 31 has a first edge 311 and a second edge 312 opposite to each other, and the second plate body 32 has a third edge 321 and a fourth edge 322 opposite to each other, the first edge 311 and the third edge 321 are coplanar, and the distance H1 between the first edge 311 and the second edge 312 is greater than the distance H2 between the third edge 321 and the fourth edge 322. That is, there is a structural step difference between the first plate body 31 and the second plate body 32, and the first plate body 31 protrudes from the second plate body 32 on one side.
[0051] Through the above-mentioned structural design, the auxiliary support device 30 of the present invention can achieve the advantage of universality. Even if there are different setting combinations between the side panel 20 and the main board 10, a single structure can adapt to and maintain the side panel 20 in a vertical state, effectively solving the problem in the prior art of needing to customize different fixtures for different setting conditions.
[0052] Next, FIG. 3A to FIG. 5B Various application implementations of the auxiliary support device 30 of the present invention are illustrated. It should be noted that, for the sake of convenience and clear representation, the main board is omitted in the figure and only the side board 20 and the auxiliary support device 30 are shown. Those skilled in the art should understand that in actual implementation, the side board 20 is vertically arranged on the main board.
[0053] First, see Figure 3A and Figure 3B, which shows the first application and use of the auxiliary support device according to an embodiment of the present invention. In this application scenario, the side plate 20a includes a main body 21a, a plurality of pins and a pin header connection terminal 23a. In one embodiment, the main body 21a and the plurality of pins are integrally formed. The side plate 20a is vertically arranged on the main board, and the main board has a slot (not shown) for the pins to pass through, and the pin header connection terminal 23a is also arranged on the main board. The auxiliary support device 30 is arranged on one of the two opposite sides of one of the pins 22a along the D2 direction, wherein the first edge 311 of the first plate body 31 is higher than the second edge 312 in the D3 direction, and the fourth edge 322 (lower edge) of the second plate body 32 is aligned with the lower edge of the main body 21a, so that a part of the first plate body is attached to the main body 21a located above, and the other part is attached to the pin 22a located below. That is, the setting direction of the auxiliary support device 30 is that the fourth edge 322 of the second plate body 32 is higher than the second edge 312 of the first plate body 31 in the D3 direction. Therefore, the part of the first plate body 31 protruding from the second plate body 32 faces downward and is inserted into the slot of the main board together with the pin 22a, and the second plate body 32 and the main body 21a of the side panel 20a are placed together on the surface of the main board facing the side panel 20a, that is, the lower edge of the second plate body 32 is aligned with the lower edge of the main body 21a of the side panel 20a.
[0054] In this application scenario, since a pin header connection terminal 23a is provided at one end of the lower edge of the main body 21a along the D2 direction, an auxiliary support device 30 can be provided at one of the pins 22a at the other end to cooperate with the pin header connection terminal 23a to jointly maintain the side plate 20a in a vertical state. Accordingly, there is no restriction on the location of the auxiliary support device 30, as long as it is at a pin that can maintain balance with the pin header connection terminal 23a. Secondly, preferably, the auxiliary support device 30 and the pin header connection terminal 23a are respectively placed on two opposite sides of the side plate 20a along the D2 direction to avoid the side plate 20a from tilting or falling to the greatest extent. Of course, according to the number and location of the pin header connection terminals, more than one auxiliary support device 30 can also be provided, for example, auxiliary support devices 30 are provided at multiple pins 22a, and / or auxiliary support devices 30 are provided on two opposite sides of the side plate 20 along the D2 direction, etc., which can be changed according to the actual implementation situation.
[0055] See also Figure 4A and Figure 4B , which shows a second application and use of the auxiliary support device according to an embodiment of the present invention. In this application scenario, the side panel 20b includes a main body 21b and a plurality of pins. In one embodiment, the main body 21b and the plurality of pins are integrally formed. The side panel 20b is vertically arranged on the main board, and the main board has a slot (not shown) for the pins to pass through. The auxiliary support device 30 is arranged on two opposite sides of the side panel 20b along the D2 direction, for example, on two opposite sides of different pins 22b1 and 22b2, wherein the auxiliary support device 30 is arranged on the ... Figure 3A and Figure 3B The arrangement of the auxiliary support device 30 is similar, the first edge 311 of the first plate body 31 is higher than the second edge 312 in the D3 direction, and the fourth edge 322 (lower edge) of the second plate body 32 is aligned with the lower edge of the main body 21b, so that a part of the first plate body 31 is attached to the main body 21b located above, and the other part is attached to the pins 22b1 and 22b2 located below. That is, the arrangement direction of the auxiliary support device 30 is that the fourth edge 322 of the second plate body 32 is higher than the second edge 312 of the first plate body 31 in the D3 direction. Therefore, the part of the first plate body 31 protruding from the second plate body 32 faces downward and is inserted into the slot of the main board together with the pins 22b1 and 22b2, and the second plate body 32 and the main body 21b are arranged together on the surface of the main board facing the side plate 20b, that is, the lower edge of the second plate body 32 is aligned with the lower edge of the main body 21a of the side plate 20a.
[0056] In this application, since the lower edge of the main body 21b has only pins, it is necessary to set auxiliary support devices 30 on both opposite sides of the side plate 20 along the D2 direction to prevent tilting and tipping. When setting, it is preferred that the auxiliary support devices 30 located on the opposite sides of the side plate 20b along the D2 direction are set at different pins, that is, the projections of the auxiliary support devices 30 on the side plate 20b are at least partially staggered and not completely overlapped, which is conducive to more stably maintaining the vertical state of the side plate 20b, especially when the length of the side plate 20b in the D1 direction is long, increasing the spacing between the auxiliary support devices 30 will be more helpful to maintain a stable vertical state. Of course, stability can also be achieved by adding more auxiliary support devices 30, for example, setting auxiliary support devices 30 at intervals on the opposite sides of the side plate 20b along the D2 direction. Therefore, the number and setting position of the auxiliary support devices 30 can be selected according to actual conditions.
[0057] See also Figure 5A and Figure 5B , which shows the third application and use of the auxiliary support device according to the embodiment of the present invention. In this application scenario, the side plate 20c includes a main body 21c and a connecting terminal 24c. FIG. 3A to FIG. 4B The difference is that the side plate 20c does not have pins for penetrating the main board, so the auxiliary support device 30 is arranged on the surface of the main board facing the side plate 20c with the first edge 311 of the first plate 31 and the third edge 321 of the second plate 32, which are coplanar, so as to be arranged without pins and slots between the side plate 20c and the main board. Therefore, the arrangement direction of the auxiliary support device 30 is such that the fourth edge 322 of the second plate 32 is lower than the second edge 312 of the first plate 31 in the D3 direction. In other words, compared with the above two application scenarios, in Figure 5A and Figure 5BIn the embodiment, the auxiliary support device 30 is rotated 180 degrees so that the portion of the first plate 31 protruding from the second plate 32 turns upward. In this case, the first edge 311 of the first plate 31 and the third edge 321 of the second plate 32 are aligned with the lower edge of the main body 21c, the first plate 31 is attached to the main body 21c to make it in a vertical state, and the second plate 32 also extends away from the first plate 31 to provide support.
[0058] In this application scenario, the auxiliary support device 30 needs to be arranged on two opposite sides of the side panel 20c along the D2 direction to prevent tilting and tipping. As for the setting position of the auxiliary support device 30, it can be changed according to the configuration of the electronic components on the side panel 20c and the main board and the length of the side panel 20 in the D1 direction. Preferably, the auxiliary support devices 30 arranged on two opposite sides along the D2 direction are not aligned with each other, that is, the projections on the side panel 20c are at least partially staggered and not completely overlapped, so as to more stably maintain the side panel 20c in a vertical state. Similarly, according to different actual implementation conditions, the number of auxiliary support devices 30 can be further increased to achieve the best support effect.
[0059] Based on the above application scenarios, it can be known that no matter what setting method is adopted for the auxiliary support device 30 of the present invention, the lower edge of the second plate body 32 is placed against the upper surface of the main plate facing the side plate. Figure 3A-Figure 4B In the application shown, the lower edge of the second plate 32 is a fourth edge 322 for being placed on the main plate, and Figure 5A-Figure 5B In the application shown, the lower edge of the second plate 32 is the third edge 321 for being placed on the main board. On the other hand, the portion of the first plate 31 protruding from the second plate 32 can be selectively placed downwardly in the main board slot together with the pins of the side plate, or placed upwardly when there are no pins on the side plate.
[0060] Therefore, the auxiliary support device 30 of the present invention can universally cope with various side panels 20, 20a, 20b, 20c that need to maintain a vertical state by simply changing the setting direction, for example, whether there are pins, pin header connection terminals, etc. A single structure can meet all vertical requirements, which is a very advantageous design.
[0061] Furthermore, according to another aspect of the present invention, the first plate and the second plate 32 may also have other relative relationships. Figure 6, which shows a schematic diagram of an auxiliary support device according to another embodiment of the present invention. The auxiliary support device 30' includes a first plate body 31' and a second plate body 32'. The first plate body 31' is parallel to the side plate 20, and the second plate body 32' extends from the first plate body 31' in a direction away from the side plate 20. In this embodiment, the first plate body 31' has a first edge 311' and a second edge 312' opposite to each other, and the second plate body 32 has a third edge 321' and a fourth edge 322' opposite to each other, and there is a distance H3 between the first edge 311' and the third edge 321', and there is a distance H4 between the fourth edge 322' and the second edge 312', and both H3 and H4 are greater than zero. That is, the first plate body 31' has a structural step difference with the second plate body 32' on both opposite sides, and both sides protrude from the second plate body 32'. In this case, the auxiliary support device 30' is suitable for FIG. 3A to FIG. 4B In other embodiments, the second board 32' may also be implemented as follows: Figure 2C As shown, the intersection is arranged on the surface of the first plate 31' instead of the edge of the first plate 31', which can also achieve the auxiliary support effect. Therefore, the intersection position can be changed according to actual application requirements and is not limited to that shown in the drawings.
[0062] Furthermore, the auxiliary support devices 30, 30' of the present invention are fixed to the side plates by welding. FIG. 3A to FIG. 4B In the application mode shown, the first plate bodies 31, 31' are welded to the main body and the pins of the side plate at the same time, and FIG. 5A to FIG. 5B In the application mode shown, the first plate body 31 is welded to the main body of the side plate. Accordingly, the auxiliary support device 30, 30' of the present invention is implemented as being made of a metal material, or implemented as a tin-plated surface, for example, tin-plated on the surface of SPCC (cold-rolled steel plate). A welding pad is provided at the position of the side plate corresponding to the first plate body 31, 31'. Here, since the auxiliary support device 30, 30' is used to support the side plate and does not participate in signal transmission, the material used is not limited, as long as it can achieve a welding fixation effect.
[0063] The advantage of using the welding method is that it only needs to add a soldering pad at the corresponding position of the side panel, and the original welding process can be directly used to complete the fixing of the auxiliary support devices 30 and 30' while welding the electronic components, which is very cost-effective. In actual implementation, the auxiliary support devices 30 and 30' set on the side panel 20 will be welded and fixed together during the reflow process of the side panel 20. After that, the side panel 20 with the auxiliary support devices 30 and 30' can be set on the main board in a vertical state. Next, if the side panel 20 and the main board are wave soldered together, such as Figure 3A-Figure 4BIn the application mode shown, a portion of the first plate 31, 31' is disposed in the slot of the mainboard together with the pins, and the first plate 31, 31' of this portion will melt during the wave soldering process, while the remaining portion remains unmelted and can still continue to support the side plate 20 in a vertical state. On the other hand, if the side plate does not participate in the wave soldering of the mainboard, such as Figure 5A-Figure 5B In the embodiment shown, the auxiliary supporting device 30 will not melt and will continue to support the side plate 20 in a vertical state.
[0064] The soldering pads disposed on the side panel 20 are determined according to the shape and position of the first plate body 31, 31'. For example, a single soldering pad may correspond to the first plate body 31, 31' of a single auxiliary support device 30, 30', or a plurality of soldering pads may correspond to the first plate body 31, 31' of a single auxiliary support device 30. In some embodiments, in order to avoid the auxiliary support device 30, 30' from floating during welding, it is preferred that the soldering pad area is smaller than the contact area between the first plate body 31, 31' and the side panel 20 to leave space for overflow within the welding range, and when implemented as a plurality of soldering pads, each soldering pad may be independently separated or at least partially staggered, that is, the plurality of soldering pads do not completely overlap to optimize the fixation of the auxiliary support devices 30, 30'. For example, if Fig. 9A As shown, the pads 25a can be implemented as being located at the four corners of the side plate 20 corresponding to the first plate area, or as shown in FIG. Fig. 9B As shown, the pad 25b can be implemented as two blocks arranged substantially in parallel, or as Fig. 9C As shown, 25c can be implemented in a multi-point distribution manner, or as Fig.9D As shown, the pad 25d can be implemented in other configurations. The key is to make the solder substantially evenly distributed to minimize the floating of the auxiliary support device.
[0065] In addition, in addition to being fixed by welding, the auxiliary support device and the side plate may be further provided with a mutually engaging structure to provide a positioning effect. Fig.10 As shown, a first engaging portion 313 may be provided on the surface where the first plate body 31 of the auxiliary support device 30 contacts the side plate 20, and a second engaging portion 211 corresponding to the first engaging portion 313 may be provided at the main plate 21 of the side plate 20 corresponding to the first plate body 31, so as to ensure the positioning between the two by means of mutual engagement of structures. For example, the first engaging portion may be a convex structure, such as a positioning convexity, and the second engaging portion may be a concave structure, such as a positioning hole, or conversely, the first engaging portion may be a concave structure and the second engaging portion may be a convex structure. It may be changed according to the actual implementation situation and is not limited thereto.
[0066] On the other hand, when a portion of the first plate body is inserted into the slot of the mainboard together with the pin, there is no special restriction on the shape of the first plate body, and the shape may be the same as or different from that of the pin, and / or the second edge may be aligned with or not aligned with the lower edge of the pin, without restriction. Preferably, during the wave soldering process, the first plate body may be made to fit the shape of the pin portion, that is, the shape of the second edge of the first plate body may be implemented to be substantially the same as the shape of the pin, so as to avoid a step difference between the two, which may increase the amount of tin absorption and affect the welding effect. Furthermore, the second edge of the first plate body aligned with the pin may be implemented to have a chamfer to further help improve the welding effect. For example, if Figure 2B As shown, both ends of the second edge 312 of the first plate 31 may be chamfered, or as shown in FIG. Figure 8 As shown, the auxiliary support device 30b includes a first plate body 31b and a second plate body 32b, wherein the first plate body 31b can be implemented as having chamfers at both ends of the second edge 312b and the second edge 312b parallel to the side plate and away from the side plate is also chamfered, so as to optimize the welding effect in this way. Therefore, the shape of the first plate body, especially the shape of the portion that is inserted into the slot of the mainboard together with the pin, can be implemented in various ways according to the actual shape of the pin. As long as it does not affect the welding effect of the pin, it is not limited to what is shown in the drawings.
