Description

The invention relates to a vehicle brake for a bicycle. In vehicle brakes for bicycles, it is important that the brake pad have optimum friction properties with respect to the bicycle rim.It is an object of the invention to provide an improved vehicle brake. The object is achieved according to the preamble and the characterizing features of claim 1 in that the brake pad is arranged interchangeably on the brake pad holder and the brake pad comprises a vehicle tire rubber mixture for use at different seasons. An advantage of the invention is to be seen in particular in that the friction properties between the brake pad and the bicycle rim can thereby be optimally matched to one another. At low temperatures in winter, it is particularly advantageous to use a brake lining that has optimum friction properties under winter ambient conditions. This allows the braking distance to be reduced. In summer, on the other hand, at high temperatures, a different brake lining with a different rubber mixture is required in order to achieve optimum braking properties. The brake pads can be replaced in a simple manner since they are arranged interchangeably on a brake holder. In an advantageous development of the invention, it is provided that the vehicle tire rubber mixture comprises a tread mixture for a passenger car summer tire or a passenger car winter tire. The tread mixtures for passenger car tires are particularly well suited for the use of brake linings. In a further advantageous development of the invention, it is provided that the brake lining comprises a vehicle tire rubber mixture of production residues for tire production. As a result, the durability during tire manufacture is substantially improved. In a further advantageous development of the invention, it is provided that the brake lining has a profile with recesses in the brake lining. The brake lining for winter use could have, for example, a tire profile of a winter tire.In a further advantageous development of the invention, it is provided that the brake holder has two rail-shaped holding elements, wherein the holding elements are arranged conically with respect to one another in plan view and the brake lining is clamped between the holding elements during assembly. As a result, the brake pads can be replaced in a simple manner. In a further advantageous development of the invention, it is provided that the vehicle brake is a component of a rim brake for a bicycle. The brake pads are suitable in particular for use with rim brakes. The invention is described in more detail below with reference to an exemplary embodiment. The following are shown: FIG. 1 : The brake lining holder FIG. 2 : The brake pad holder with the brake padFIG. 1 shows the brake pad holder 1 in a three-dimensional view. The brake pad holder 1 has two rail-shaped holding elements 3 which are arranged substantially parallel to one another. The inner surfaces of the rail-shaped holding elements are designed conically, so that the brake lining is clamped between the rail-shaped holding elements and fixed on one side. The brake lining is inserted through the lateral opening of the rail-shaped holding elements 3 and then fixed between the holding elements. In addition, the brake pad holders have two openings which are provided in particular for screws which serve for fixing the brake pad holder to the rim brake.FIG. 2 shows the brake pad holder with the clamped brake pad 2 in a three-dimensional view. The brake pad 2 is made of a rubber material, which is used in particular in tire production. The brake lining can be easily replaced in conjunction with the brake lining holder, since it is fixed only by the rail-shaped retaining elements. The rubber material for the brake pad may be tread material used for winter tires or summer tires. At the beginning of the winter season or at the beginning of the summer season, the brake pads can be exchanged in order to be able to provide optimum braking properties for the bicycle.List of reference characters1 Brake pad holder 2 Brake pad 3 Rail-shaped holding elements
