[0031] These and / or other aspects of the disclosure will become clear and better understood from the following description of the embodiments in conjunction with the accompanying drawings: Fig. 1 is a side view illustrating a pawl unit of a braking system in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure; Fig. 2 to 4 are cross-sectional views illustrating a magnetic actuator according to an embodiment of the present disclosure; Fig. 5 is an enlarged cross-sectional view illustrating a driving part and a core of a magnetic actuator according to an embodiment of the present disclosure; Fig. 6 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a magnetic actuator in a state where a driving part is driven upward according to an embodiment of the present disclosure; and Fig. 7 is a cross-sectional view showing a magnetic actuator according to another embodiment of the present disclosure. DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0032] Fig. 1 is a side view showing a pawl unit of a braking system in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0033] The brake system according to the present embodiment may, for example, but not exclusively, be a disc brake system. In the disc brake system, brake pads may be provided on both sides of a disc, and the disc brake system may include a caliper housing, a carrier, a motor for supplying a driving force, a pressing unit for pressing the brake pads, a power transmission unit for transmitting the rotational driving force of the motor to the pressing unit, and the pawl unit for preventing the reverse movement or actuation of the power transmission unit.
[0034] The brake caliper housing is the outer frame of the braking system. The caliper housing is usually made of metal and serves to protect and support the brake pad and the press unit. In disc brakes, the caliper housing is wrapped around the disc and holds the brake pads tightly against the disc.
[0035] The disc rotates with the vehicle's wheel and has brake pads on both sides.
[0036] The carrier is a component located inside the caliper housing that provides a mechanism for supporting and moving the brake pads. The carrier controls the movement of the brake pads toward and away from the disc, or into and out of contact with the disc, and transfers the pad pressure to the disc.
[0037] The press unit is a device used to press the brake pads against the disc. Generally, the press unit operates when a brake pedal is depressed, generating pressure using hydraulic or electromechanical principles or mechanisms. The resulting pressure is transferred to a piston or cylinder in the caliper housing, pressing the brake pads against the disc.
[0038] The configuration described above is a general configuration of the disc brake system and is a known technique that can be easily implemented by a person skilled in the art, so a detailed description is omitted. This configuration is described only as an example for illustrative purposes, and the present disclosure is therefore not limited thereto.
[0039] The motor may be configured to provide a rotational drive force. The motor may be located behind the brake caliper housing and on the side of the power transmission unit, or coupled thereto, and provide the drive force for rotating the power transmission unit.
[0040] The power transmission unit transmits the rotary drive force of the motor to the press unit. The power transmission unit can comprise, for example, one or more gears, a belt mechanism with a belt and pulleys, a nut-and-screw mechanism, and / or a ball-nut-and-screw mechanism.
[0041] That is, the braking system of the present embodiment performs braking by transmitting the driving force of the motor to the pressing unit via the power transmission unit to press the brake pads onto the rotor. An electronic control unit (ECU) controlling the motor can rotate the motor in one direction to apply the brake pads or rotate the motor in the opposite direction to relieve the pressure exerted on the brake pads.
[0042] The pawl unit may be configured to limit or prevent movement in one direction, e.g., reverse operation or movement of the power transmission unit. Unlike the electric parking brake in the related art, the electromechanical braking system according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure can electrically actuate both the service brake and the parking brake, thus requiring a short time for brake actuation. Therefore, the electromechanical braking system shortens the operating time by using ball screws instead of the previous lead screws. However, with the ball screw mechanism, reverse rotation of the transmission may occur. The pawl unit is equipped with the power transmission unit to limit or prevent reverse rotation of the transmission in a certain state.
[0043] Referring to Fig. 1, a ratchet assembly according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure may include a ratchet wheel or ratchet mechanism 20 configured to rotate in conjunction with the rotation of the motor, a pawl 31 configured to engage the ratchet wheel mechanism 20, a magnetic actuator 10 configured to rotate or pivot the pawl 31, and a spring 32 configured to exert a restoring force on the pawl 31. The spring 32 may, for example, but not exclusively, be a pawl spring.
[0044] The ratchet wheel 20 rotates under the rotational power of the motor. The ratchet wheel 20 may be coupled directly to the motor or indirectly connected to the motor via one or more gears and / or a belt mechanism. The ratchet wheel 20 may be a component of the power transmission unit or connected to the power transmission unit to rotate in response to the operation of the power transmission unit.
[0045] The ratchet wheel 20 is rotated by the motor and may be in the form of a ratchet wheel. The ratchet wheel has teeth angled in one direction around the wheel, allowing rotation in a specific direction through a stop such as pawl 31, but limiting or restricting rotation in a direction opposite to the specific direction.
[0046] The magnetic actuator 10 moves, rotates, or pivots the pawl 31. The magnetic actuator 10 may include a coil former 100 around which a coil is wound, a drive part 410 inserted into a through-hole of the coil former 100 to be driven, and a drive rod 420 configured to be moved by the drive part 410. The drive rod 420 may protrude from a housing of the magnetic actuator 10 and be configured to press the pawl 31 against the ratchet wheel 20 so that the pawl 31 engages with one of the teeth of the ratchet wheel 20.
[0047] The pawl 31 is rotatably connected to a pawl carrier or a shaft so that one end of the pawl 31 engages the teeth of the ratchet wheel 20 when the magnetic actuator pushes the pawl 31.
[0048] The spring 32 can exert an elastic force in a direction in which the pawl 31 moves away from the ratchet wheel 20.
[0049] The brake system according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure may include the pawl unit such that the pawl 31 of the pawl unit can be coupled to the ratchet gear 20 or engaged by the magnetic actuator 10, thereby preventing reverse movement or operation of the brake.
[0050] The magnetic actuator 10 according to some exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in more detail below.
[0051] The Fig. 2 to 4 are cross-sectional views illustrating a magnetic actuator according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0052] With reference to the Fig. 2 to 4, a configuration and a manufacturing process of the magnetic actuator 10 according to some exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail.
[0053] As in the Fig. As shown in Figures 2 to 4, the magnetic actuator 10 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include a coil body 10, a lower housing 200, a driving member 410, a core 300, a driving rod 420, and a return spring 500. The coil body 100 may have a through-hole on its inner side. The coil body 100 may include a winding member 110 around which a coil 120 is wound along an outer surface of the coil body 100. The lower housing 200 may be connected to a lower side of the coil body 100 and surround the outer surface of the coil body 100. The driving member 410 may be inserted into the through-hole of the coil body 100 to be movable up and down. The core 300 may be fixedly installed above the driving member 410. The drive rod 420 can protrude above the core 300 or through the core 300 and be moved by the drive part 410.The return spring 500 may be provided between the drive part 410 and the core 300 and configured to provide a return force corresponding to the drive of the drive part 410.
[0054] Referring to Fig. 2, the coil former 100 has the winding part 110 around which the coil 120 is wound, and the through hole is formed on the inner surface of the coil former 100. The coil 120 is configured to generate a magnetic field when electrical energy is applied or supplied to the coil 120.
[0055] The coil body 100 may further include an upper frame 111 provided above the winding part 110 to limit an upper winding range of the coil 120 or the movement of the coil 120 in an upward direction, and a lower frame 113 provided below the winding part 110 to limit a lower winding range of the coil 120 or the movement of the coil 120 in a downward direction.
[0056] The coil body 100 is provided with a through-opening into which the drive part 410 and the core 300 can be inserted, so that the drive part 410 and the core 300 can be moved in the through-opening of the coil body 100.
[0057] The lower housing 200 may include a substantially cylindrical body 205 surrounding the outer surface of the coil former 100. The coil former 100 may be inserted into the interior of the cylindrical body 205 of the lower housing 200.
[0058] Furthermore, the lower housing 200 may include a lower part or surface (or extension part) 210 and a cylindrical inner part or inner surface 220. The lower part or surface or extension part 210 may extend inwardly from a lower end of the body 205 of the lower housing 200 (e.g., in the direction of an axis of the magnetic actuator 10) and surround the lower side region of the coil former 100, and may have an annular shape. The cylindrical inner part or inner surface 220 may extend upwardly from an inner end of the annular lower surface 210 and be at least partially inserted into the through-hole of the coil former 100.
[0059] That is, the lower housing 200 may accommodate the coil former 100 having a shape that encompasses the outer, lower, and inner side portions of the coil former 100, except for an upper side portion of the coil former 100. In this exemplary embodiment, the inner surface or portion 220 of the lower housing 200 may have an outer diameter that corresponds to the inner diameter of the through-hole of the coil former 100. When the coil former 100 is assembled with the interior of the lower housing 200, as shown in Fig. 2, the through hole of the coil former 100 and the inner surface or part 220 of the lower housing 200 come into contact with each other, so that the coil former 100 can be fixed in a certain position in the lower housing 200.
[0060] The lower housing 200 may include the body 205, the lower part or surface or extension part 210, and the inner part or surface 220 formed integrally. For example, the lower housing 200 may have a shape in which the top of the lower housing 200 is open, so that the lower housing 200 can be formed in one piece by a method such as press forming.
[0061] As described above, the lower housing 200 includes the cylindrical body 205, the annular lower portion or surface or extension portion 210 extending inward from the lower end of the body, and the inner portion or surface 220 extending upward from the inner end of the lower surface. A first opening 230 opening downwardly may be formed inside the cylindrical inner portion or surface 220 of the lower housing 200, and a second opening 240 opening upwardly may be formed inside the cylindrical body 205 of the lower housing 200.
[0062] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 3, the drive part 410 is inserted into the through-hole of the coil former 100 so as to be movable up and down. The drive part 410 is configured to be moved up and down by a magnetic field generated by the coil 120 wound around the coil former 100 and induced via the core 300. The drive part 410 may preferably be made of a magnetic material, but need not be.
[0063] The drive part 410 can be moved up and down within the through-hole of the coil former 100. A drivable or movable region of the drive part 410 can be defined by the core 300 and the lower housing 200. For example, the uppermost drivable or movable region of the drive part 140 is defined by the core 300, and the lowermost drivable or movable region of the drive part 140 is defined by the lower housing 200.
[0064] The coil body 100 may be provided with a damper 115 protruding from an inner peripheral surface of the through hole of the coil body 100 to prevent the lower case 200 and the drive part 410 from coming into direct contact with each other.
[0065] As in the Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, the damper 115 has a shape that protrudes inward from the inner peripheral surface of the through-hole of the coil former 100. In the present embodiment, the damper 115 may protrude in a ring shape along a circumferential direction from the inner peripheral surface of the through-hole of the coil former 100. Alternatively, the damper 115 may be formed as a plurality of protrusions that protrude from the inner peripheral surface of the through-hole of the coil former 110, spaced from each other, and aligned along the circumferential direction.
[0066] The damper 115 may be disposed between the driving part 410 and the lower housing 200, protruding from the inner peripheral surface of the through hole of the spool body 100, thereby preventing the driving part 410 from directly contacting the lower housing 200.
[0067] The drive part 410 is driven within the drivable or movable range according to the magnetic field generated by the coil 120. If the drive part 410 comes into direct contact with the lower housing 200 during up and down movement, the direct contact may generate noise and cause damage to the lower housing 200 or the drive part 410.
[0068] However, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the damper 115 of the spool 110 can prevent the drive part 410 from directly contacting the lower housing 200, thereby avoiding noise and damage due to the impact.
[0069] In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the damper 115 may be formed integrally with the coil former 100. The damper 115 may be formed, for example, by molding on the inside of the coil former 100. By molding the damper 115 integrally with the coil former 100, the assembly capability and productivity of the magnetic actuator 10 can be improved, and manufacturing costs can be reduced by simplifying the design.
[0070] Alternatively, the damper 115 may also be manufactured as a separate element and inserted into the interior of the coil body 100 to be positioned between the drive part 410 and the lower housing 200.
[0071] In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the damper 115 may contact the upper end of the inner surface 220 of the lower housing 200, thereby preventing the drive member 410 from directly contacting the inner surface 220 of the lower housing 200. The inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200 is inserted into the through-hole of the spool body 100. In this exemplary embodiment, the damper 115 may be positioned at the upper end of the inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200, thereby preventing the drive member 410 from contacting the inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200.
[0072] If no damper is provided in the coil former 100, the driving part 410 may contact the inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200 inside the through-hole of the coil former 100 as the driving part 410 moves downward. Accordingly, when the driving part 410 moves downward, noise may be generated by the contact between the driving part 410 and the inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200. The damper 115 may be arranged and positioned between the lower end of the driving part 410 and the upper end of the inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200, protruding from the inner peripheral surface of the through-hole of the coil bobbins 100, thereby preventing direct contact between the driving part 410 and the inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200, so that noise can be reduced and damage due to contact shock can be prevented.
[0073] The drive rod 420 can pass through the drive part 410 and be fixedly connected to the drive part 410. The drive rod 420 can be moved by the drive part 410 and can exert a force on an external device or another part, for example, but not limited to, the pawl 31, via an end of the drive rod 420 that protrudes from the magnetic actuator 10. Preferably, one end of the drive rod 420 can protrude beyond the housing of the magnetic actuator 10, and the protruding end of the drive rod 420 can press on an external device. Fig. 1, for example, the end of the drive rod 420 can rotate or pivot the pawl 31 by pressing on the pawl 31 so that the pawl 31 is fixed to or engaged with the ratchet wheel 20.
[0074] As in Fig. 4, the core 300 is fixedly installed above the drive part 410. The core 300 can be attached, for example, to the lower housing 200 or to any part of the housing of the magnetic actuator 10. In the Fig. 4, the core 300 may be fixedly installed to close or cover the second opening 240 formed on the top of the lower housing 200.
[0075] The core 300 induces a magnetic field generated in the coil 120. The core 300 is made of, for example, but not exclusively, a magnetic material and is fixedly installed above the drive part 410. At least a portion of the core 300 can be inserted into the through-hole of the coil former 100.
[0076] The core 300 induces the magnetic field generated in the coil 120 and causes the drive part 410 to be driven towards the core 300 by the magnetic field generated when electrical energy is applied to the coil 120, e.g., in Fig. 4 up.
[0077] The return spring 500 can be arranged between the core 300 and the drive part 410. The return spring 500 is provided to elastically return the drive part 410 to an original position of the drive part 410 by providing a reaction force corresponding to the drive of the drive part 410. The return spring 500 can be configured to exert an elastic force on the drive part 410 in a direction away from the core 300, so that the return spring 500 can return the drive part 410 to its original position. For example, the return spring 500 may be provided as a coil spring, and when the drive part 410 is driven upward by the magnetic field generated by the coil 120, the return spring 500 may be compressed, and when the magnetic field is not generated by the coil 120, the compressed return spring 500 may exert the reaction force on the drive part 410 so that the drive part 410 can be driven downward.
[0078] The drive rod 420 can pass through the core 300 and extend beyond the core 300. The drive rod 420 can be movably positioned within the core 300. The drive rod 420 passes through the core 300 and can move up and down relative to the core 300 by being driven by the drive part 410. Accordingly, the end of the drive rod 420 that extends beyond the core 300 can exert or transmit a driving force to an external device through up and down movement.
[0079] Meanwhile, the drive rod 420 may pass through the drive part 410 and protrude downward below the drive part 410. In this exemplary embodiment, a first bushing 610 may be provided between the drive rod 420 and the inner part or surface 220 and disposed below the underside of the drive part 410. The drive rod 420 may be movably coupled to the first bushing 610 so that the drive rod 420 can be moved within the first bushing 610. The first bushing 610 may be configured to guide the movement of the drive rod 420, which is configured to be movable according to the drive of the drive part 410 and to reduce friction.
[0080] Furthermore, a second bushing 620 may be provided between the drive rod 420 and the core 300. The drive rod 420 may be movably disposed within the second bushing 620. The drive rod 420 may move up and down relative to the second bushing 620. The second bushing 620 may be configured to guide the movement of the drive rod 420 and reduce friction.
[0081] As in Fig. 4, the first bushing 610 may be provided in the region of the lower side of the drive part 410 and the second bushing 620 may be provided in the region of the upper side of the drive part 410, thereby guiding the vertical movement of the drive rod 420 caused by the drive of the drive part 410, reducing friction and preventing the drive rod 420 from deviating from an axial direction.
[0082] Meanwhile, the first bushing 610 is provided between the drive rod 420 and the inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200 and is provided in the first opening 230 formed within the cylindrical inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200. Since the first bushing 610 is provided in the first opening 230 of the lower housing 200, wear dust generated by friction or the like during operation of the drive rod 420 can be discharged to the outside of the housing of the magnetic actuator 10 through the first opening 230 of the lower housing 200.
[0083] Fig. 5 is an enlarged cross-sectional view showing a driving part and a core of a magnetic actuator according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, and Fig. 6 is a cross-sectional view of a magnetic actuator in a state where a driving part is driven upward according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0084] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 5, the return spring 500 may be provided so as to be inserted or arranged between a first spring seat portion 413 on the upper surface of the drive portion 410 and a second spring seat portion 330 of the core 300. For example, the second spring seat portion 330 of the core 300 may be formed as a concave groove on the lower surface of the core 300. Even if the return spring 500 is compressed, thereby being inserted into the second spring seat portion 330 formed as a concave groove, the return spring 500 can be prevented from deviating, and the reaction force caused by the compression of the return spring 500 can be appropriately controlled.
[0085] In addition, the return spring 500 can be designed as a helical spring that encloses at least a part of the drive rod 420.
[0086] Meanwhile, the first spring seat part 413 may be provided with a damping element or damper configured to absorb shocks caused by the upward movement of the drive part 410. The damping element or damper of the first spring seat part 413 may be provided between the drive part 410 and the core 300, so that direct contact between the drive part 410 and the core 300 can be prevented when the drive part 410 moves upward, thereby reducing noise and preventing damage due to drive shocks.
[0087] Referring to Fig. 5, the driving part 410 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure may include a large diameter portion 412 inserted into the through hole of the spool 100 and a small diameter portion 411 having a diameter smaller than that of the large diameter portion 412.
[0088] The large diameter portion 412 is inserted into the through hole of the coil former 100 and has an outer diameter smaller than the through hole diameter of the coil former 100. The small diameter portion 411 has a smaller outer diameter than the large diameter portion 412 and is inserted into the inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200, which is inserted into the through hole of the coil former 100.
[0089] The drive part 410 has a stepped portion formed by a diameter difference between the large-diameter portion 412 and the small-diameter portion 411. The stepped portion in the drive part 410 allows the small-diameter portion 411 to fit into the inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200, but the large-diameter portion 412 cannot fit into the inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200. Accordingly, the stepped portion of the drive part 410 can contact the inner surface 220 and limit the downward movement range of the drive part 410.
[0090] The damper 115 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may contact the stepped portion of the drive member 410 formed by the difference in diameters between the large-diameter portion 412 and the small-diameter portion 411. The damper 115 may prevent the drive member 410 from directly contacting the inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200 by contacting the stepped portion of the drive member 410. The damper 115 may be in contact with the upper end of the inner part or surface 220 and may be configured to be brought into contact with the stepped portion of the drive member 410 when the drive member 410 is lowered, so that the stepped portion of the drive member 410 may be prevented from contacting the inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200.
[0091] On the other hand, in an example where the facing surfaces of the core 300 and the driving part 410 are formed flat, when the driving part 410 approaches the core 300, the magnetic force between the driving part 410 and the core 300 may rapidly increase, causing a driving shock when the driving part 410 moves upward.
[0092] Therefore, in an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the upper end of the driving part 410 may be provided with a first inclined portion 414 that is at least partially inclined at a certain angle greater than 0°, the lower end of the core 300 may be provided with a second inclined portion 320 that is inclined at an angle substantially corresponding to the first inclined portion 414, and the second inclined portion 320 may be provided to oppose or contact the first inclined portion 414 by being inserted into the first inclined portion 414 when the driving part 410 is driven upward.
[0093] The upper end of the driving part 410 facing the core 300 may be provided with the first inclined portion 414 inclined at a certain angle, as shown in Fig. 5, and the first inclined portion 414 of the drive member 410 may be formed at the large diameter portion 412 on the top of the drive member 410.
[0094] The lower end of the core 300 facing the driving part 410 is provided with the second inclined portion 320 which is inclined at a certain angle as shown in Fig. 5. The second inclined portion 320 of the core 300 may have a shape substantially corresponding to the first inclined portion 414 of the drive member 410 and may contact or oppose the first inclined portion 414 of the drive member 410 by being inserted into the first inclined portion 414 when the drive member 410 is driven upward.
[0095] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 6, when the drive part 410 moves closer to the core 300, the second inclined portion 320 is inserted into the first inclined portion 414, and the lower end of the second inclined portion 320 and the upper end of the first inclined portion 414 partially overlap. Accordingly, the magnetic force received by the drive part 410 due to the magnetic field induced by the core 300 cannot increase rapidly, and the drive part 410 can be driven upward by a constant magnetic force.
[0096] Fig. 7 is a cross-sectional view showing a magnetic actuator according to another embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0097] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 7, a magnetic actuator according to another embodiment of the present disclosure may include a coil bobbin 100, a lower housing 200, a driving member 410, a core 300, a driving rod 420, and a return spring 500. The coil bobbin 100 may have a through-hole formed on an inner surface of the coil bobbin 100 and may include a winding member 110 around which a coil 120 is wound along an outer surface of the coil bobbin 100. The lower housing 200 may be connected to a portion of the lower side of the coil bobbin 100 and surround the outer surface of the coil bobbin 100. The driving member 410 may be inserted into the through-hole of the coil bobbin 100 to be movable up and down. The core 300 may be fixedly installed above the driving member 410.The drive rod 420 may extend above or out of the core 300 through the core 300 and may be configured to be movable by the drive member 410. The return spring 500 may be disposed between the drive member 410 and the core 300 and generate a return force corresponding to the drive of the drive member 410.
[0098] The lower housing 200, the drive part 410, the core 300, the drive rod 420 and the return spring 500 according to another in Fig. 7, the same or similar configurations as those shown in the Fig. 2 to 6, so that a description of them is omitted.
[0099] As in Fig. 7, a magnetic actuator 10 according to another embodiment of the present disclosure may include a damper 115 provided on an inner peripheral surface of the through-hole of the coil body 100 to prevent direct contact between the lower housing 200 and the drive part 410. In contrast to the embodiments of Fig. 2 to 6, the magnetic actuator 10 according to another embodiment of the Fig. 7 provide or form the damper 115 and the coil body 100 separately.
[0100] The damper 115 may be arranged or positioned between the driving part 410 and the lower housing 200, being provided on the inner peripheral surface of the through hole, thereby preventing the driving part 410 from directly contacting the lower housing 200.
[0101] The drive part 410 is driven within a drivable or movable range according to the magnetic field generated or formed by the coil 120. If the drive part 410 comes into direct contact with the lower housing 200 during up and down movement, the impact may generate noise and damage the lower housing 200 or the drive part 410.
[0102] The damper 115 can prevent the drive part 410 from coming into direct contact with the lower housing 200, thereby avoiding noise and damage caused by impact.
[0103] In another embodiment of the Fig.7, the damper 115 can be brought into contact with the upper end of the inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200, thereby preventing the drive part 410 from directly contacting the inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200. The inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200 is inserted into the through-hole of the spool body 100. In this exemplary embodiment, the damper 115 can be positioned above or at the upper end of the inner surface 220, thereby preventing the drive part 410 from contacting the inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200.
[0104] If no damper is provided in the coil former 100, the driving part 410 inside the through-hole of the coil former 100 may contact the inner part or surface 220 of the lower housing 200 as the driving part 410 moves downward. Accordingly, noise may be generated during the downward movement of the driving part 410 due to the contact between the driving part 410 and the inner surface 220. The damper 115 may be arranged and positioned between the lower end of the driving part 410 and the upper end of the inner part or inner surface 220 of the lower housing 200, protruding from the inner peripheral surface of the through-hole of the coil former 100, thereby preventing direct contact between the driving part 410 and the inner surface 220, thus reducing noise and preventing damage due to contact shock.
[0105] Therefore, a magnetic actuator and a braking system including the same according to some embodiments of the present disclosure can reduce the operating noise of the magnetic actuator.
[0106] A magnetic actuator and a braking system including the same according to certain embodiments of the present disclosure can maintain a constant magnetic force during operation of the magnetic actuator.
[0107] A magnetic actuator and a braking system including the same according to some embodiments of the present disclosure can improve assembly capability and productivity by simplifying the product structure and shape of the magnetic actuator.
[0108] An electromagnetic actuator and a braking system incorporating the same in accordance with certain embodiments of the present disclosure may contribute to simplifying the design and reducing manufacturing costs.
[0109] While a few embodiments of the present disclosure have been shown and described, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that changes may be made to these embodiments without departing from the principles and spirit of the disclosure, the scope of which is defined in the claims and their equivalents.
