Description

[0001] The subject of the innovation is a connection system for support profiles according to the preamble of claim 1 for attaching this support profile to a facade.

[0002] Support profiles are used to fix panel modules to the facade of a building or other vertically running load-bearing wall structures. Such flat panel modules can be, for example, solar modules that are arranged on buildings to generate electricity from solar energy.

[0003] KR 2016 0 144 206 A discloses a connection system for attaching at least one elongated support profile to a building facade, wherein at least one threaded rod is anchored at a right angle to the facade surface on one side, the free end of which passes through a hole in a base plate of the support profile in order to screw a nut onto the threaded rod on the side of the base plate facing away from the facade. A slotted washer with a slot on one side is placed between the facade-facing side of the base plate of the support profile and the facade, and this washer has an opening that at least partially encircles the threaded rod.

[0004] This is a horizontal support profile into whose edge rail profile the plate module is suspended. Due to its design, the base plate rests on the individual threaded rods in the area surrounding the holes. This leads to damage to the threads and, conversely, also to damage to the material of the base plate in the area surrounding the holes. The forces acting on the support profile cannot be compensated for.

[0005] Due to the design of its connection system, this system is unsuitable for mounting heavy glass or solar modules on a vertical facade. Furthermore, the suspension is rigid and cannot, for example, absorb forces resulting from thermal deformation of the support profile.

[0006] The innovation is therefore based on the task of creating an improved connection system for mounting a support profile on a facade, whereby quick and safe installation is possible, taking into account high weight and the occurrence of possible forces of the support profile on the threaded rod or the wall anchor.

[0007] The problem is solved according to the innovation by the features of the independent claim, while advantageous embodiments and further developments of the innovation can be derived from the dependent claims.

[0008] An advantageous feature is that the hole in the base plate of the support profile for the insertion of the threaded rod is an elongated hole into which a spacer sleeve encompassing the threaded rod is inserted, which has at least one vertical clearance in the elongated hole.

[0009] The spacer sleeve, for example, has an outer diameter of 14.5 mm, an inner diameter of 9.5 mm, and a thickness of 5 mm. These and all subsequent dimensions are to be understood as examples and not as limitations for the present innovation.

[0010] This allows the support profile to shift slightly in length relative to the fixed threaded rods. This shiftability compensates for thermal expansion of the support profile, which typically ranges between 3 and 6 millimeters depending on its length.

[0011] This is a vertical support profile with a centrally located groove in which clamps for the plate module are fixed. Due to its design, the base plate rests only on defined threaded rods or wall anchors in the area surrounding the holes. Movements, particularly those at the mounting points, can be accommodated by the arrangement of the slotted washer, spacer sleeve, and washer without damaging the materials. In particular, changes in length due to temperature variations can be accommodated in a controlled and stress-free manner.

[0012] Due to the design of its connection system, this system is suitable for mounting glass or solar modules on vertical facades. The suspension is rigidly perpendicular to the facade and can, for example, only absorb forces resulting from thermal deformation of the supporting profile.

[0013] Preferably, the support profile has at least one elongated hole accessible from the outside and extending in the longitudinal direction of the support profile.

[0014] In this innovation, a slotted hole is defined as an elongated bore whose narrow sides are closed off by semicircles. The diameters of these semicircles correspond to the width of the slotted hole. The long sides of the slotted hole run parallel to each other.

[0015] Preferably, the elongated hole in the base plate is vertically aligned with its longitudinal extent.

[0016] The combination of a slotted hole and a spacer sleeve, whose outer diameter is smaller than the width of the slotted hole, creates a floating bearing for attaching the support profile to the facade. This provides a vertically sliding bearing for the support profile, while preventing horizontal movement, as the nut locks the support profile in place perpendicular to the facade.

[0017] The mother could be, for example, an M8 or M10 mother.

[0018] Previously, only fixed bearings for support profiles were known from the prior art, as described, for example, in the aforementioned KR 2016 0 144 206 A. The difference between the innovation, which describes a floating bearing, and the fixed bearing known from the prior art lies in the possibility of displacement. The fixed bearing does not allow any displacement, whereas with a floating bearing, the support profile can move vertically relative to the stationary threaded rod.

[0019] The formation of a loose bearing is achieved by the movement of the spacer sleeve within the elongated hole. When the spacer sleeve reaches the end regions of the elongated hole, e.g., the upper or lower semicircle, it comes to rest against the block, and further movement is no longer possible. For this reason, depending on the application and the loads involved, the elongated hole is cut into the support profile in a suitable size to ensure sufficient play, i.e., adequate clearance.

[0020] For example, the elongated hole has a length of 25mm.

[0021] Preferably, the spacer sleeve is positively fitted into the elongated hole. For this purpose, the outer diameter of the spacer sleeve is smaller than the width of the elongated hole.

[0022] Preferably, the spacer sleeve rests on the slotted disc with its end facing the facade.

[0023] Between the end of the spacer sleeve facing away from the facade and the nut, an additional washer is placed on the threaded rod, which is made of the same material as the spacer sleeve.

[0024] Thus, the spacer sleeve is enclosed on both sides by two discs, the slotted disc and a disc that is at least partially circular.

[0025] The discs, for example, have a thickness of 4mm.

[0026] This second disc, for example, has an outer diameter of 30mm, an inner radius of 9.2mm and a thickness of 11.5mm.

[0027] Preferably, the opening of the slotted disc, in which the threaded rod rests, is at least partially circular and transitions into the slot, which widens radially outwards. In the transition area between the opening and the slot, there are two opposing projections, the distance between which is less than the diameter of the threaded rod.

[0028] The opening can thus have a radius of 9.2 mm, and the distance between the two projections is 7 mm. Due to the widening of the slot towards the outer circumference of the slotted disc, a distance of 10 mm is achieved at the end of the slot, starting from a distance of 7 mm.

[0029] By using a slotted disc, it can also be placed on the threaded rod between the facade and the base plate of the support profile after the threaded rod has been guided through the elongated hole.

[0030] The slotted washer design between the wall and the profile allows for the creation of a sliding and separating plane around the profile's base after the vertical profile has been mounted to a load-bearing substrate. For example, the vertical profile can be loosely attached to the wall using two threaded rods. The remaining fixing points can be created through the profile at the location of the elongated holes in the substrate. After the anchor rods or wall anchors are installed, the slotted washers, spacers, and discs are mounted to the already suspended or standing profile, thus fixing the profile at a right angle to the wall.

[0031] By using more than one slotted disc, which are placed one after the other on a threaded rod, the distance between the base plate of the support profile and the facade can also be influenced. This allows, among other things, compensation for construction tolerances.

[0032] Alternatively, the second, unslotted disc is integrally bonded to the spacer sleeve. Thus, the spacer sleeve has a single-piece radial extension in the form of a disc at its end facing away from the facade. This is preferably an injection-molded part.

[0033] This combined component can have an inner diameter of 6 mm, an outer diameter of 14.5 mm for the sleeve, and an outer diameter of 25 mm for the disc, with the sleeve having a height of 5 mm to which a 3 mm high disc is attached. These specifications are for illustrative purposes only.

[0034] The outer diameter of the disc, whether made from a single piece of material or as a separate component, is larger than the width of the slot in order to rest on the circumference of the slot.

[0035] Preferably, the spacer sleeve is made of a plastic that exhibits high mechanical strength and durability, combined with sufficient toughness. Polyamides, preferably PA6G, are used because they offer high abrasion resistance and good sliding properties.

[0036] The slotted disc and the other disc can also be made of such polyamides as PA6G.

[0037] Alternatively, aluminium or a combination of these materials can be used for one or more parts.

[0038] The length of the spacer bushing corresponds at least to the thickness of the base plate of the support profile and can also be longer than the thickness of the base plate.

[0039] For example, the length of the spacer sleeve can be 3.5mm.

[0040] Preferably, a washer is placed on the threaded rod on the side of the disc facing away from the facade. The nut rests on this washer and is pressed into place by a screwing motion. This serves to horizontally fix the support profile.

[0041] Preferably, the panel module is a solar and / or photovoltaic module. However, this innovation is not limited to fixing solar and / or photovoltaic modules, but can also be used to fix flat wall or cladding panels, for example, for a panel thickness of 8 to 12 millimeters. In the following, the general term "module" will be used.

[0042] The plate holder is, for example, a double holder with which the edge areas of two modules can be attached and mechanically connected. Preferably, the surfaces of the modules clamped in a plate holder are arranged parallel to each other.

[0043] Scaled versions of brackets can also be used to close the horizontal joints when viewed at right angles to the facade and to ensure better protection of the facade from rain penetrating behind the structure.

[0044] This connection system also allows the support profile to be retrofitted to an insulated facade. First, a cylindrical piece is cut or drilled out of the insulation until the load-bearing layer of the facade is accessible, allowing a threaded bolt to be inserted into this layer, usually concrete. After installation, the previously removed section of the facade can be shortened and reinserted, ensuring it is guided around the threaded sleeve and the support tube of the bracket. This maintains the insulating effect of the facade insulation.

[0045] Due to its static properties, this innovative system is particularly suitable for solar and / or photovoltaic modules, as its design minimizes the risk of stress and movement damage caused by temperature-related length variations. Furthermore, the secure fixing of the modules significantly reduces the risk of damage from compressive and suction forces.

[0050] Fig. Figure 1 shows the connection system 1 for mounting two support profiles 5 on a vertical facade 17. In a further assembly step, several panel modules 2, for example glass modules, are mounted on the support profiles 5.

[0051] Shown are two parallel support profiles 5, which are also aligned vertically along the surface of the facade 17.

[0052] The length of the support profiles 5 can extend over several floors of a building. Preferably, at least two support profiles 5 are used in series, connected to each other at their opposite ends, so that the successive support profiles 5 continue along their longitudinal extent.

[0053] Panel holders 18 are screwed to the support profiles 5 at defined intervals, holding the panel modules 2 at their edges. The adjustable panel holders 18 allow the panel modules 2 to be optimally aligned and fixed to the facade 17.

[0054] The support profile 5 is connected to the facade 17 at defined intervals. For this purpose, threaded rods 10 are inserted into the facade in a manner not shown in detail, which protrude vertically and horizontally from the facade 17.

[0055] The support profile 5 has at least one elongated hole 9 through which the threaded rod 10 is guided when the support profile 5 is mounted on the facade 17. Subsequently, a nut 16 can be screwed onto the threaded rod 10 from the side of the support profile 5 facing away from the facade to secure the support profile 5.

[0056] Such a screw connection is described in detail in Fig. Figure 2 shows the support profile 5. In the example shown, it consists of a rectangular and elongated base plate 7, opposite which a narrower, also rectangular plate 6 is arranged. The two plates are connected to each other via a web arrangement 8, which keeps the plates 6 and 7 at a distance from each other.

[0057] In the edge areas of the base plate 7, i.e., the area not overlapped by the plate 6, at least one elongated hole 9 is provided. During the installation of the support profile 5, the threaded rod 10, which is usually round and previously inserted into the facade 17, is guided through this elongated hole 9. The threaded rod 10 thus has a certain degree of freedom of movement within the elongated hole 9.

[0058] The support profile 5 can move relative to the stationary threaded rod 10, as the elongated hole provides the corresponding clearance for a vertical relative movement with respect to the threaded rod 10.

[0059] To further utilize the advantage of the elongated hole, a spacer sleeve is additionally guided around the threaded rod 10 and inserted into the elongated hole 9. Due to the material properties of the spacer sleeve 12, sliding is permitted between the stationary components, the threaded rod and the sliding sleeve, relative to the elongated hole 9, i.e., the support profile 5. The direction of movement 21 is indicated by a double arrow, as the support profile can move both upwards and downwards relative to the stationary threaded rod 10.

[0060] To prevent the spacer sleeve 12 from slipping out of the elongated hole 9 on the facade side, to create a defined sliding plane and to maintain the distance between the back 19 of the base plate 7 and the facade 17, a slotted washer 14 is placed onto the threaded rod 10 in the direction of arrow 22. Additionally, a washer 13 is placed onto the threaded rod 10 on the front 20 of the base plate 7 in the direction of arrow 23.

[0061] A washer 24 is placed on the threaded rod 10, also in the direction of arrow 23, and a nut 16 is screwed onto the external thread 11 of the threaded rod 10.

[0062] Fig. 3 shows the rear view of Fig. 2, where an additional plate module 2 is shown, which can be connected to the support profile 5 in a manner not shown. The two slotted discs 14 shown can also be subsequently placed onto the threaded rods 10, i.e., after the threaded rods 10 have been passed through the elongated holes 9, due to their slot 15.

[0063] Fig. Figure 4 shows a top view of the facade 17 with a front-mounted support profile 5. The support profile 5, which consists, among other things, of the base plate 7 and the plate 6, is connected to the threaded rod 10 via the nut 16. Fig. In addition, the sectioning plane VV is shown in section 4, as shown in Fig. 5 is shown.

[0064] In Fig. Figure 5 shows the threaded rod 10, fixed in the facade 17 and guided through the elongated hole 9. The elongated hole 9 has a length 29. The slotted washer 14 is inserted between the rear side 19 of the base plate 7 and the facade 17. On the opposite side, i.e., the front side 20, the washer 13 is placed onto the threaded rod 10. The spacer sleeve 12, which is also guided around the threaded rod 10, is located between the washer 13 and the slotted washer 14.

[0065] The washer 13 is covered by the washer 24, on which the nut 16 rests, which is screwed onto the external thread 11 of the threaded rod 10.

[0066] Fig. Figure 6 shows detailed views (not to scale) of the slotted disc 14, the spacer sleeve 12, and the disc 13, which are successively placed onto the threaded rod 10 in the area of the elongated hole 9. The inner diameter 26 of the disc 13, the inner diameter 27 of the spacer sleeve 12, and the inner diameter 30 of the slotted disc 14 are approximately the same size. All inner diameters 26, 27, and 30 are slightly larger than the outer diameter of the threaded rod 10.

[0067] The outer diameter 28 of the spacer sleeve 12 is also slightly smaller than the width of the elongated hole 9.

[0068] The slotted disc 14 has a slot 15 that tapers towards the center of the disc and opens into an opening 25. The opening 25 has an inner diameter of 30, with a projection 31 in the transition area between the arc of the opening and the inner edge of the slot 15. These two opposing projections 31, which are spaced closer together than the diameter 30, act as a retaining device to prevent the slotted disc from slipping off the threaded rod 10.

[0069] Fig. Figure 7 shows a further embodiment of the spacer sleeve, wherein between the end of the spacer sleeve 12 facing away from the facade and the nut, the spacer sleeve 12 has a radial extension in the form of a disc 13' that is integrally formed with the material. This is a spacer sleeve 32, which has the same dimensions as the previously mentioned spacer sleeve 12, such as the inner diameter 27, with the difference that a disc 13' is integrally formed with it.
