Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Bumper skin comprising an interface for mounting a lighting module
[0001] The technical context of the present invention is that of systems for fixing lighting modules for motor vehicles. More particularly, the invention relates to a motor vehicle bumper skin allowing the fixing of such a lighting module.
[0002] In the state of the art, the use of a bumper skin is known to extend a motor vehicle body at the level of a front bumper. Such a bumper skin is generally fixed to a support which is itself linked to a chassis or to structural elements of the motor vehicle.
[0003] In a complementary manner, the use of lighting modules for illuminating a road scene located in front of the motor vehicle is obviously known; such lighting modules are generally fixed to the support of the bumper skin. For example, a lighting module of the fog light type is generally fixed to the support of the bumper skin by means of several fixing screws. In a known manner, this fixing is carried out from the front, the fog light being fixed from the outside to the support of the bumper skin.
[0004] These known fixing devices have the following disadvantages: first, they are relatively expensive because the lighting modules are generally fixed by several fixing screws. Then, the mounting of the lighting modules from the outside on the bumper support leads to greater style constraints on the bumper skin itself, or even to the use of covers to finalize the adjustment between the bumper skin and the lighting module once mounted. Of course, these covers also contribute to increasing the cost of such an assembly. Finally, such external fixing of the lighting modules on the bumper skin support complicates the mounting processes as well as the maintenance of such lighting modules.
[0005] The object of the present invention is to propose a new bumper skin in order to respond at least to a large extent to the preceding problems and to further lead to other advantages.
[0006] Another object of the invention is to allow the assembly of a lighting module directly on the bumper skin.
[0007] Another object of the invention is to facilitate the mounting and maintenance of lighting modules on the bumper skin.
[0008] Another object of the invention is to reduce the costs associated with fixing such lighting modules.
[0009] According to a first aspect of the invention, at least one of the aforementioned objectives is achieved with a bumper skin for a motor vehicle, the bumper skin comprising an interface for mounting a lighting module on the bumper skin, the mounting interface comprising:
[0010] - a housing for receiving the lighting module;
[0011] - at least one circumferential support zone on the housing, each at least one support area forming a support surface for the lighting module;
[0012] - at least one member for clamping the lighting module against the at least one zone support.
[0013] In the context of the present invention, a longitudinal axis, a lateral axis and a vertical axis are defined relative to the motor vehicle on which the bumper skin according to the first aspect of the invention is intended to be mounted. More particularly, the transverse axis is understood as a direction taken between a lateral side of the motor vehicle and an opposite lateral side of said motor vehicle. In other words, the transverse axis is understood as a direction which extends from a passenger side of the motor vehicle to a driver's side of said motor vehicle, or vice versa. The adjectives lateral, inboard and outboard refer to such a transverse axis. Furthermore, the longitudinal axis extends as being taken along a direction which extends from front to rear or from back to front of the motor vehicle. The longitudinal axis is perpendicular to the transverse axis.The adjectives frontal, front and rear refer to this longitudinal axis. Finally, the vertical axis is understood to be taken along an axis which extends from the wheels of the motor vehicle and towards the roof of said motor vehicle, or vice versa, the vertical axis being simultaneously perpendicular to the transverse axis and to the longitudinal axis. The adjectives above and below, or lower and upper refer to this vertical axis.
[0014] In the context of the present invention, the lighting module comprises at least one light source configured to emit a light beam intended to be shaped and projected onto the road scene. For this purpose, the lighting module optionally comprises an optic for shaping the light beam generated by the at least one light source. The at least one light source advantageously comprises at least one light-emitting diode.
[0015] In the context of the present invention, the bumper skin takes the form of a wall forming a facing intended to cover all or part of a bumper reinforcement or a bumper. The bumper skin extends bodywork elements of the motor vehicle at its front portion, near and around a front bumper, a grille and / or a hood of the motor vehicle. In other words, the bumper skin is a visible part of the bumper assembly from the exterior of the motor vehicle it equips.
[0016] In the context of the present invention, the mounting interface is made in one piece with the bumper skin. In other words, the mounting interface and the bumper skin are made from the same manufacturing process and cannot be detached from one another without one and / or the other being completely or partially damaged or destroyed. The mounting interface forms a fixing interface for the lighting module.
[0017] In the context of the present invention, the housing forms a housing for receiving the lighting module, so as to allow at least partial embedding of said lighting module in the mounting interface. This advantageous configuration makes it possible to index the lighting module on the mounting interface, guaranteeing reproducibility of the assembly. In addition, the housing makes it possible to reduce the size of the lighting module once mounted, and offset from the bumper skin.
[0018] In the context of the present invention, each support zone of the mounting interface is configured to allow the lighting module to rest on said mounting interface. Each support zone preferably forms a flat support for a surface of the lighting module located opposite. Advantageously, each support zone extends in a plane formed by the vertical axis and the transverse axis, so as to allow the lighting module to rest by a translational movement along the longitudinal axis. Preferably, although not limiting the invention, in the case where the mounting interface comprises several support zones, all the support zones are parallel to each other, or even coplanar. In addition, the support zones are then distant from each other, so that said support zones are distinct from each other.Preferably, the at least one support zone is located on the periphery of the housing, that is to say at the level of a contour delimiting said housing.
[0019] In the context of the present invention, the clamping member is configured to axially retain the lighting module against the mounting interface, and more particularly against the at least one support zone, relative to the longitudinal axis. The clamping member thus forms an axial locking member for the lighting module, relative to the longitudinal axis.
[0020] Thus, the bumper skin mounting interface according to the first aspect of the invention allows for rapid and efficient attachment of the lighting module directly to the bumper skin. It is no longer necessary to use a bumper skin support to attach the lighting module. In addition, the mounting interface makes it easier to assemble and maintain the lighting module on the bumper skin, thereby reducing the costs associated with its assembly or maintenance.
[0021] The bumper skin according to the first aspect of the invention advantageously comprises at least one of the improvements below, the technical characteristics forming these improvements being able to be taken alone or in combination:
[0022] - the mounting interface forms a protrusion which extends out from the skin of bumper. This advantageous configuration thus makes it possible to stiffen the bumper skin at the mounting interface, in particular with regard to compressive forces relative to the longitudinal axis. The at least one support zone is located at a free end of the protrusion. Side walls of the protrusion advantageously comprise ribs in order to further stiffen the mounting interface;
[0023] - the at least one support zone preferably comprises three support zones located on the periphery of the housing. This advantageous configuration makes it possible to optimize the flat support of the lighting module against the mounting interface, preventing said lighting module from tilting when it is leaning against the support zones. Each support zone is located at a distance from the other two support zones, so that each support zone is distinct from the other two support zones. The support zones are, for example, angularly regularly distributed around the housing;
[0024] - the at least one clamping member collaborates with the lighting module so as to clamping the lighting module on the at least one support zone by a rotational movement of said lighting module on said at least one support zone, around an axis of rotation perpendicular to the at least one support zone. The axis of rotation is preferably parallel to the longitudinal axis. Thus, by a translational movement relative to the longitudinal axis of the lighting module in the direction of the mounting interface, said lighting module is first pressed against each at least one support zone. Then, by a rotation of the lighting module around the axis of rotation, the lighting module is engaged with each support zone, so as to be axially locked against the mounting interface, relative to the axis of rotation, i.e. the longitudinal axis;
[0025] - for this purpose, the at least one clamping member preferably comprises two clamping members each associated with one of the support zones. In particular, the mounting interface comprises a first clamping member associated with a first support zone, and a second clamping member associated with a second support zone;
[0026] - in particular, each at least one clamping member comprises a cap extending opposite the at least one support zone, so that a clamping tab of the lighting module is engaged between the cap and the corresponding support zone. The cap forms a span which extends at a distance from and opposite the corresponding support zone, so as to provide a space between said cap and said support zone, in which the clamping lug of the lighting module can engage and remain axially clamped between said cap and said support zone, relative to the longitudinal axis. Each at least one clamping lug of the lighting module takes the form of a plate which projects from a housing of the lighting module intended to engage in the housing of the mounting interface. Dimensions and a shape of each plate forming the at least one clamping lug of the lighting module are configured to collaborate by engagement with the corresponding clamping member of the mounting interface;
[0027] - each at least one clamping member is associated with a configured retaining member to keep the lighting module engaged with the at least one clamping member. In other words, each retaining member is configured to prevent rotation of the lighting module around the axis of rotation and in a direction opposite to that which enabled said lighting module to be engaged with the at least one clamping member;
[0028] - the retaining member comprises (i) a sliding ramp of a lower face of the clamping lug of the lighting module, the sliding ramp being inclined so as to allow a progressive elastic deformation of the clamping lug and / or a progressive axial displacement of the lighting module relative to the axis of rotation, and (ii) a stop which extends at an upper end of the sliding ramp, the stop delimiting a zone for receiving the clamping lug under the corresponding cap. In the context of the present invention, the retaining member forms a bearing surface having a variable transverse section, relative to the longitudinal axis. Thus, for a first angular position, the lighting module is placed in axial support with the retaining member at a first location on the retaining member, corresponding to a first axial position of the lighting module relative to the corresponding support zone.By continuing the rotation of the lighting module around the axis of rotation, the lighting module is brought to a second angular position for which said lighting module is placed in axial support with the retaining member at a second location on the retaining member, corresponding to a second axial position of the lighting module relative to the corresponding support zone. The second axial position is greater than the first axial position. This configuration thus makes it possible to mechanically constrain the clamping tab of the lighting module as it advances angularly towards the corresponding support zone. The transverse profile of the bearing surface forming the retaining member is determined by the sliding ramp. Once it has reached the support zone, the clamping tab of the lighting module is angularly retained by the stop; .
[0029] - the at least one support zone is angularly delimited by a stop surface angular located opposite the stop of the retaining member. The angular stop range of the support zone and the stop of the retaining member delimit ang- clearly a retaining site for the lighting module clamping lug;
[0030] - one of the at least one support zone comprises a module securing member lighting on said support area. This advantageous configuration makes it possible to secure the lighting module on the mounting interface, preventing it from pivoting in an uncontrolled manner and despite the retaining member;
[0031] - the securing member preferably comprises a threaded hole provided di directly in the corresponding support area.
[0032] According to a second aspect of the invention, there is provided a bumper assembly for a motor vehicle, the bumper assembly comprising:
[0033] - a bumper skin according to the first aspect of the invention or according to one of any of its improvements;
[0034] - a lighting module coupled to the bumper skin mounting interface.
[0035] The bumper assembly according to the second aspect of the invention advantageously comprises at least one of the improvements below, the technical characteristics forming these improvements being able to be taken alone or in combination:
[0036] - the bumper assembly comprises a support, the bumper skin being fixed solidly directly to the bumper support. In the context of the present invention, the lighting module is securely and directly attached to the bumper skin, through its mounting interface, and not to the bumper skin support;
[0037] - the lighting module is of the fog light type;
[0038] - the lighting module comprises at least one clamping tab extending ra- dially outwardly and configured to collaborate with the cap of the at least one clamping member and the corresponding support zone, such that said clamping tab is engaged between said cap and said support zone. The clamping tab forms a plate configured to be able to be engaged between the cap and the support zone of the mounting interface;
[0039] - each at least one retaining member bears against an edge of the tab of corresponding bridle of the lighting module;
[0040] - one of the at least one clamping tab of the lighting module comprises a opening located opposite the securing member of the mounting interface, so as to allow the corresponding clamping tab to be fixed to the securing member by means of a complementary securing element collaborating with said securing member;
[0041] - the additional securing element comprises a fixing screw passing through the through the opening and collaborating with the tapped hole forming the securing member and located opposite.
[0042] According to a third aspect of the invention, there is provided a motor vehicle comprising the bumper assembly according to the second aspect of the invention or according to any of its improvements.
[0043] Various embodiments of the invention are provided, integrating according to all of their possible combinations the different optional characteristics set out here.
[0044] Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description on the one hand, and from several examples of embodiment given for informational and non-limiting purposes with reference to the appended schematic drawings on the other hand, in which:

[0051] Of course, the features, variants and different embodiments of the invention may be combined with each other, in various combinations, provided that they are not incompatible or mutually exclusive. In particular, variants of the invention may be imagined comprising only a selection of features described below in isolation from the other features described, if this selection of features is sufficient to confer a technical advantage or to differentiate the invention from the prior art.
[0052] In particular, all the variants and all the embodiments described can be combined with each other if nothing prevents this combination from a technical point of view.
[0053] In the figures, the elements common to several figures retain the same reference.
[0054] With reference to [Fig.l] and 2, the invention relates to a bumper skin 1 for a motor vehicle, the bumper skin 1 comprising a mounting interface 10 for a lighting module 3 on the bumper skin 1 - not visible in FIGURES 1 and 2, the mounting interface 10 comprising:
[0055] - a housing 101 for receiving the lighting module 3;
[0056] - at least one support zone 102 circumferential to the housing 101, each at least a support zone 102 forming a support surface for the lighting module 3;
[0057] - at least one clamping member 103 of the lighting module 3 against the at least one support zone 102.
[0058] With reference to [Fig. 3] which illustrates such a lighting module 3 assembled on the mounting interface 10, the invention also relates to a bumper assembly 2 for a motor vehicle, the bumper assembly 2 comprising the bumper skin 1 and the lighting module 3 coupled to the mounting interface 10 of the bumper skin 1.
[0059] The mounting interface 10 forms a protrusion which projects from the bumper skin 1. In other words, the mounting interface 10 has a generally conical or cylindrical conformation, the at least one bearing zone 102 being located at a free and distal end of the conical or cylindrical conformation of the mounting interface 10. Side walls of the mounting interface 10 extend from the bumper skin 1 in an intersecting or substantially perpendicular manner.
[0060] At its center, the mounting interface 10 - and more particularly its side walls - delimits a substantially circular opening forming a housing 101 for the lighting module 3. The opening is delimited by a peripheral collar 105 which extends around the housing 101. The dimensions and shape of the peripheral collar 105 are such that they allow the partial insertion of the lighting module 3 into the housing 101. Thus, the peripheral collar 105 forms a centering device for the lighting module 3 on the mounting interface 10.
[0061] The method of mounting the lighting module 3 on the mounting interface 10 will be described in more detail with reference to FIGURES 4 to 6.
[0062] Each support zone 102 of the mounting interface 10 is configured to allow the lighting module 3 to rest on said mounting interface 10. Each support zone 102 preferably forms a flat support for a surface of the lighting module 3 located opposite. Advantageously, each support zone 102 extends in a plane perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to an axis of rotation 01 of the lighting module 3 on the mounting interface 10 during its mounting.
[0063] In the embodiment illustrated in the FIGURES, the mounting interface 10 comprises several support zones 102, and more particularly three support zones 102 parallel to each other, or even coplanar. Furthermore, the three support zones 102 are distinct from each other. The support zones 102 are located at the periphery of the housing 101, that is to say at the level of the peripheral collar 105 delimiting said housing 101.
[0064] Each at least one clamping member 103 is configured to axially retain the lighting module 3 against the mounting interface 10, and more particularly against the at least one support zone 102, relative to the axis of rotation 01, the clamping member 103 thus forming an axial locking member of the lighting module 3, relative to said axis of rotation 01.
[0065] In the embodiment illustrated in the FIGURES, the mounting interface 10 comprises several clamping members 103, and more particularly two clamping members 103, each of them being associated with only one of the three support zones 102 of the mounting interface 10. In particular, the mounting interface 10 comprises a first clamping member 103 associated with a first support zone 102, and a second clamping member 103 associated with a second support zone 102.
[0066] Each clamping member 103 collaborates with the lighting module 3 so as to clamp the lighting module 3 on the at least one support zone 102 by a rotational movement of said lighting module on said at least one support zone 102, around the axis of rotation 01. More particularly, each clamping member 103 makes it possible to achieve axial locking of the lighting module 3 with respect to a translation around the axis of rotation 01 and in a direction of distance, opposite to the direction of approach of the lighting module 3 during its assembly on the mounting interface 10.
[0067] For this purpose, each clamping member 103 comprises a cap 104 extending opposite the bearing zone 102 with which it is associated, so that a clamping tab 31 of the lighting module 3 is engaged between the cap 104 and the corresponding bearing zone 102, when the lighting module 3 is mounted on the mounting interface 10 of the bumper skin 1. In other words, when the lighting module 3 is mounted on the mounting interface 10 of the bumper skin 1, the clamping tab 31 of the lighting module 3 is located in an intermediate position between the cap 104 and the corresponding bearing zone 102. This advantageous configuration thus makes it possible to achieve an axial stop of the lighting module 3 with respect to a translation parallel to the axis of rotation 01.
[0068] The cap 104 forms a bearing surface which extends at a distance from and opposite the corresponding support zone 102, so as to provide a space between said cap 104 and said support zone 102. The space delimited by the cap 104 and the support zone 102 is dimensioned - relative to the axis of rotation 01 - so that the clamping tab 31 of the lighting module 3 can engage and remain axially clamped between said cap 104 and said support zone 102.
[0069] As visible in [Fig. 3], the lighting module 3 comprises one or more clamping tabs 31. In the exemplary embodiment illustrated in FIGURES 3 to 6, the lighting module 3 comprises three clamping tabs 31, distributed angularly around the periphery of said lighting module 3. Each clamping tab 31 of the lighting module 3 takes the form of a plate which projects from a housing 30 of the lighting module 3 intended to engage in the housing 101 of the mounting interface 10. Dimensions and a shape of each plate forming the clamping tabs 31 of the lighting module 3 are configured to collaborate by engagement of complementary shapes with the corresponding clamping member 103 of the mounting interface 10.
[0070] The mounting interface 10 comprises at least one angular retaining member 106 of the lighting module 3 on the mounting interface 10. In particular, each clamping member 103 is associated with one of the at least one retaining member 106.Each retaining member 106 is configured to hold the lighting module 3 in engagement with the at least one clamping member 103, preventing rotation of the lighting module 3 around the rotation axis 01 and in a direction opposite to that which enabled said lighting module 3 to be engaged with each at least one clamping member 103. In other words, each retaining member 106 collaborates with the lighting module 3 so as to clamp the lighting module 3 on the at least one support zone 102 by a rotational movement of said lighting module on said at least one support zone 102, around the rotation axis 01. In other words, each retaining member 106 makes it possible to achieve an angular stop of the lighting module 3 with respect to a rotation around the rotation axis 01 and in a direction opposite to that which enables the module to be assembled. lighting 3 on the mounting interface 10. .
[0071] Each retaining member 106 collaborates more particularly with one of the clamping tabs 31 of the lighting module 3. For this purpose, the retaining member 106 comprises:
[0072] - a sliding ramp 1061 of a lower face of the clamping tab 31 of the lighting module 3, the sliding ramp 1061 being inclined so as to allow a progressive elastic deformation of the clamping lug 31 and / or a progressive axial displacement of the lighting module 3 relative to the axis of rotation 01, and
[0073] - a stop 1062 which extends at an upper end of the ramp of sliding 1061, the stop 1062 delimiting a zone for receiving the clamping tab 31 under the corresponding cap 104.
[0074] The retaining member 106 makes it possible to mechanically constrain the clamping tab 31 of the lighting module 3 as it advances angularly towards the corresponding support zone 102. The transverse profile of the bearing surface forming the retaining member 106 is determined by the sliding ramp 1061. Once it reaches the support zone 102, the clamping tab 31 of the lighting module 3 is angularly retained by the stop 1062.
[0075] Additionally, the mounting interface 10 also includes a stop surface 108 located opposite and across the support zones 102, so as to define a second angular stop of the lighting module 3 with respect to a rotation around the axis of rotation 01 and in a direction identical to that which allows the module to be assembled. lighting module 3 on the mounting interface 10. The stop surface 108 is located opposite the stop stop 1062 for a given support zone 102 and relative to a rotational movement of the lighting module 3 around the rotation axis 01.
[0076] Thus, the support zones 102 are thus angularly delimited by the angular stop surface 108 and by the stop abutment 1062 of the associated retaining member 106 and located opposite. The angular stop surface 108 of the support zone 102 and the stop abutment 1062 of the retaining member 106 together and angularly delimit a retaining site 107 for the clamping tab 31 of the lighting module 3. When the lighting module 3 is assembled on the mounting interface 10, as visible in [Fig. 6], the clamping tab 31 of said lighting module 3 is housed in its retaining site 107. The clamping tab 31 is then angularly blocked by the stop surface 108 and the stop abutment 1062, and it is also axially blocked by the support zone 102 and by the cap 104, relative to the axis of rotation 01.
[0077] In order to secure the lighting module 3 on the mounting interface 10, preventing it from pivoting in an uncontrolled manner and despite the retaining members 106, one of the support zones 102 comprises a securing member 109 for securing the lighting module 3 on said support zone 102. In the exemplary embodiment illustrated in the FIGURES, the securing member 109 comprises a tapped hole made directly in the corresponding support zone 102. The securing member 109 is associated with an opening provided in one of the clamping tabs 31 of the lighting module 3, so as to allow the fixing of said clamping tab 31 on the securing member 109 of the mounting interface 10 by means of a complementary securing element 32 collaborating with said securing member 109.In the embodiment illustrated in the FIGURES, the complementary securing element 32 comprises a fixing screw passing through the opening and collaborating with the tapped hole forming the securing member 109 and located opposite.
[0078] With reference to FIGURES 4 to 6, the method of mounting the lighting module 3 on the mounting interface 10 will now be described. It will be noted that the invention cleverly and entirely effectively allows mounting of the lighting module 3 from the rear of the bumper skin 1, that is to say on the side of a support of the bumper skin 1, not visible in the FIGURES. However, according to a remarkable aspect of the invention, the fixing of the lighting module 3 is carried out directly on the bumper skin 1 itself rather than on or through the support of the bumper skin 1.
[0079] [Fig.4] illustrates a first mounting step, during which the lighting module 3 is brought closer to the mounting interface 10. This approach is carried out by means of a translational movement of the lighting module 3 with respect to the rotation axis 01, and in the direction of the mounting interface 10. Furthermore, the lighting module is axially centered relative to the housing 101, so that the housing 30 of the lighting module 3 is made coaxial with the housing 101 and / or the axis of rotation 01.
[0080] [Fig. 5] illustrates a second mounting step, during which the lighting module 3 is pressed against the bearing zones 102 of the mounting interface 10. In other words, the housing 30 of the lighting module 3 is inserted into the housing 101 and the clamping tabs 31 of said lighting module 3 extend against the bearing zones 102 located opposite. Angularly, the lighting module 3 is being rotated about the axis of rotation 01, in order to orient the clamping tabs 31 in the direction of the corresponding clamping member 103. During this rotational movement, the clamping tabs 31s pivot and slide above the associated retaining member 106. More particularly, the plates forming the clamping lugs 31 slide above the sliding ramp 1061 of the retaining member 106, possibly leading to elastic deformation.The rotation of the lighting module 3 around the axis of rotation 01 continues until the clamping tabs 31 angularly exceed the retaining members 106, so that they are housed in the corresponding retaining sites 107, as visible in [Fig.6].
[0081] In the configuration visible in [Fig.6], similar to that shown in [Fig.3], the clamping tabs 31 of the lighting module 3 are housed in their retaining site 107. The clamping tabs 31 are then angularly blocked by the stop surface 108 and the stop 1062, and they are also axially blocked by the bearing zone 102 and by the cap 104, relative to the axis of rotation 01. In addition, the third clamping tab zone 31 of the lighting module 3 is associated with the securing member 109 - here taking the form of a threaded hole made in the mounting interface 10 at the level of said bearing zone 102 - in order to allow the complementary securing element 32 - here taking the form of a fixing screw - to engage through of an opening produced on the clamping tab 31 and to collaborate with said securing member 109.Thus, in particular, the fixing screw engaged in the corresponding tapped hole makes it possible to provide a single mechanical fixing, redundant to the clamping members 103 and retaining members described previously, to guarantee that the lighting module 3 will not inadvertently detach from the bumper skin 1.
[0082] Thus, the bumper skin 1 according to the first aspect of the invention and the bumper assembly 2 according to the second aspect of the invention effectively resolve the technical problems set out above.
[0083] In summary, the invention relates to a bumper skin 1 for a motor vehicle, the bumper skin 1 comprising a mounting interface 10 for a lighting module 3 on the bumper skin 1, the mounting interface 10 comprising a housing 101 for receiving the lighting module 3, at least one support zone 102 located at the periphery of the housing 101, each support zone 102 forming a support surface for a clamping lug 31 of the lighting module 3, at least one clamping member 103 configured to axially block the clamping lug 31 against the support zone 102, and a retaining member 106 associated with each clamping member 103 to angularly block the clamping lug 31 in a retaining site 107 delimited by the corresponding support zone 102.
[0084] Of course, the invention is not limited to the examples which have just been described and numerous adjustments can be made to these examples without departing from the scope of the invention. In particular, the different characteristics, forms, variants and embodiments of the invention can be associated with each other in various combinations insofar as they are not incompatible or mutually exclusive. In particular, all the variants and embodiments described above can be combined with each other.
