To mitigate an operation that performs classification of images, in which association with patient information has not been finished, or association with patient information.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: acquisition means that acquires a first image imaging a predetermined portion of a patient from a first external device; and control means that transmits a second image for identifying a patient added to the first image to a second external device, acquires information of the patient corresponding to the second image from the second external device, and associates with the first image when information of the patient cannot be acquired from the first image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
