Manufacturing method of seal member using PTFE compact

Abstract

To provide a manufacturing method of a seal member using a PTFE compact which can reduce a cavity formed at a joining part between a first member and a second member, and can extremely reduce the occurrence of a thermal deformation and the warpage of the first member and the second member.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a seal member 40 using a PTFE compact of the present invention has a first step for forming a first member 10 by fusing a first PFA sheet 11 and a first block 12 composed of a first resin at a PTFE fusion temperature, a second step for forming a second member 20 by fusing a second PFA sheet 21 and a second block 22 composed of a second resin at the PTFE fusion temperature, a third step for forming a molding member 30 by pressurizing the first PFA sheet 11 of the first member 10 and the second PFA sheet 21 of the second member 20 by making them abut on each other, and fusing them at a PFA fusion temperature, and a cutting step for forming the seal member 40 by cutting the molding member 30.
