Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a water-discharging device that is attached to the tip of a water-discharging hose for use, for example, in checking the water-delivery performance of a pump or in filling a water tank with water. [Background technology]
[0002] Generally, fire pumps such as portable pumps used for water discharge in firefighting etc. are inspected for their water discharge performance (water discharge inspection) to ensure that they can perform as required in the event of an emergency. A water discharge inspection of a fire pump is performed by connecting a water discharge hose to the discharge port of the fire pump and operating the fire pump to actually discharge water from the hose. When inspecting a fire pump's water discharge, it is desirable to discharge water at a fairly high pressure, such as the water discharge pressure used in actual firefighting activities.
[0003] When high-pressure water is sprayed during a water spray inspection, if a firefighting nozzle (tip tube) is connected to the tip of the hose, the recoil of the water spray is large, which is undesirable from the standpoint of safety, as it can be difficult for a single worker to hold the gun by hand, depending on the water pressure. Also, when high-pressure water is sprayed using a gun, the water can reach a distance of several tens of meters, depending on the water pressure, making it difficult to secure an inspection location.
[0004] Conventionally, there is a water-discharge test device for conducting a water-discharge test in which water is discharged from the water outlet of a water-discharge member (such as a hose) of a fire hydrant or a fire pump (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Patent Document 1 discloses a configuration of a water-discharge test device that, in order to shorten the water-discharge distance and enable a water-discharge test to be conducted in a narrow space, includes an attachment part that forms a water-discharge space and into which the water outlet of the water-discharge member is inserted, and a cylindrical body that is connected in communication with the downstream side of the attachment part and has multiple barriers provided therein. The multiple barriers in the cylindrical body face the water outlet and are arranged at intervals in the water-discharge direction. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0005] [Patent Document 1] Publication number 05-038761 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0006] According to the configuration disclosed in Patent Document 1, a mounting portion in which the water-discharging member's outlet is inserted into the water-discharging space is provided on the upstream side of a cylindrical body having multiple barriers arranged therein, including a first barrier, a guide wall and a second barrier, making the device configuration complex and large-scale.
[0007] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and aims to provide a water-discharging device that is attached to the tip of a hose that discharges water supplied by a pump or the like, and that has a compact configuration that can suppress the force of water discharged from the water outlet and can suppress the recoil associated with water discharge. [Means for solving the problem]
[0008] The water-discharging device according to the present invention is a water-discharging device attached to the tip of a water-discharging hose, and includes: a cylindrical main body portion having an interior that serves as a water flow path and a water outlet that discharges water to one side in the direction of a central axis; a connecting portion provided on the other side in the direction of the central axis of the cylindrical main body portion as a portion that receives connection to one end of the hose, which connects the hose to the interior of the cylindrical main body portion and forms a connecting portion inner flow path having a flow path area narrower than the flow path area of an upstream flow path portion that is the flow path portion on the other side of the cylindrical main body portion; a first shielding portion provided at a communication portion of the connecting portion inner flow path with the upstream flow path portion and having a first passage hole that narrows the flow path area of the connecting portion inner flow path and connects the connecting portion inner flow path with the upstream flow path portion; and a second shielding portion provided within the cylindrical main body portion, which covers the entire first passage hole when viewed in the direction of the central axis of the cylindrical main body portion and has a second passage hole that allows water that has flowed from the first passage hole into the upstream flow path portion to flow downstream inside the cylindrical main body portion.
[0009] A water-discharge device according to another aspect of the present invention includes an inner tube portion provided downstream of the second shielding portion within the cylindrical main body portion and forming, together with the cylindrical main body portion, a straightening flow path that communicates with the upstream flow path portion via the second flow hole.
[0010] A water-discharging device according to another aspect of the present invention is provided with a water-discharge port forming portion that is provided within the cylindrical main body portion and that gradually narrows the flow path area of the cylindrical main body portion from the upstream side to the downstream side and forms the water discharge port.
[0011] The water-discharging device according to another aspect of the present invention includes a support frame portion that is provided so as to surround the cylindrical main body portion and that forms a flat contact surface. Effect of the Invention
[0012] According to the water-discharging device of the present invention, there is provided a water-discharging device attached to the tip of a water-discharging hose, the water-discharging device comprising: a cylindrical main body portion having an interior which serves as a water flow path and a water outlet port which discharges water to one side in the direction of a central axis; a connecting portion which is provided on the other side in the direction of the central axis of the cylindrical main body portion as a portion which receives connection to one end of the hose, which connects the interior of the hose to the interior of the cylindrical main body portion and forms a connecting portion internal flow path having a flow path area smaller than the flow path area of an upstream flow path portion which is the flow path portion on the other side of the cylindrical main body portion; The water-discharging device is provided with a first shielding portion having a first passage hole that reduces the area and connects the flow path inside the connecting portion with the upstream flow path portion, and a second shielding portion that is provided within the cylindrical main body portion, covers the entire first passage hole when viewed in the direction of the central axis of the cylindrical main body portion, and has a second passage hole that distributes water that has flowed from the first passage hole to the downstream side inside the cylindrical main body portion. As a result, while the water-discharging device is formed compact, the second shielding portion can attenuate the force of the water flowing inside the cylindrical main body portion, thereby suppressing the force of water discharged from the water outlet, and can also suppress the recoil associated with water discharged from a hose.
[0013] According to another aspect of the water-discharging device of the present invention, an inner tube portion is provided downstream of the second shielding portion within the cylindrical main body portion, and together with the cylindrical main body portion forms a straightening flow path that communicates with the upstream flow path portion via the second flow hole. This makes it possible to straighten the flow of water flowing into the straightening flow path via the second flow hole, thereby preventing turbulence from occurring within the cylindrical main body portion, and making the flow of water within the cylindrical main body portion smoother.
[0014] According to another aspect of the water discharge device of the present invention, a water discharge port forming section is provided in the cylindrical main body section, which gradually narrows the flow area of the cylindrical main body section from the upstream side to the downstream side and forms the water discharge port, so that the water flowing through the cylindrical main body section is concentrated and rectified on the central axis of the cylindrical main body section and can be discharged from the cylindrical main body section through the water discharge port. This makes it possible to prevent the water discharged from the water discharge port from scattering over a wide area. The narrowing of the scattering range of the water discharged from the water discharge port makes it easier to secure a place to discharge the water.
[0015] According to another aspect of the present invention, the water-discharging device includes a support frame that is provided to surround the cylindrical main body and forms a flat contact surface, and therefore the water-discharging device can be prevented from rolling on the placement surface due to the recoil when water is discharged from the water outlet of the cylindrical main body. This allows the water-discharging device to be placed on the ground or the like in a stable state, and prevents deviation in the direction of water discharge from the water outlet, thereby achieving good drainage. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0017] The present invention is a water-discharging device attached to the tip of a hose that discharges water supplied by a pump or the like, and aims to suppress the force of the water discharged from the water outlet and the recoil caused by the water discharge by devising the flow path configuration within the water-discharging device. Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0018] The configuration of the water-discharging device 1 according to this embodiment will be described with reference to Figs. 1 to 8. Fig. 1 is a diagram showing an example of the use of the water-discharging device 1. Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the water-discharging device 1, Fig. 3 is an exploded perspective view of the water-discharging device 1, and Fig. 4 is a plan view of the water-discharging device 1. Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line AA in Fig. 4. Fig. 6 is a diagram showing the flow of water in the water-discharging device 1 and the flow path area of each part. Fig. 7 is a perspective view of the water-discharging device 1 as seen from the water-discharging side. Fig. 8 is a diagram showing the second shielding part 6 as seen from the central axis O1. In this embodiment, a portable pump P is used as a means for supplying water to the hose H. This portable pump P has a maximum settable pressure of 1.0 Mpa and a maximum delivery flow rate of 1000 liters per minute.
[0019] As shown in Fig. 1, the water-discharging device 1 is attached to the tip of a hose H, which is a fire hose for discharging water supplied by a pump P, and constitutes a device that discharges water supplied from the hose H. The base end of the hose H is connected to the discharge port of the pump P, and the tip end is connected to the water-discharging device 1. A flow rate measuring device M is provided in the middle of the hose H. The flow rate measuring device M measures the flow rate of water flowing through the hose H, and the water-transport performance of the pump P can be confirmed by checking the flow rate of the water flowing through the hose H against the rotation speed of the impeller of the pump P.
[0020] The water discharge device 1 includes a cylindrical main body 3 having a water flow path therein and a water outlet 34 for discharging water to one side in the central axis direction, a connecting part 2 for connecting one end of a hose H to the inside of the cylindrical main body 3, a first shielding part 5 having a first through hole 51 for connecting the inside of the cylindrical main body 3 to the inside of the connecting part 2, and a second shielding part 6 provided in the cylindrical main body 3, covering the entire first through hole 51 as viewed in the central axis direction of the cylindrical main body 3, and having a second through hole 62 for distributing water that has flowed into the inside of the cylindrical main body 3 from the first through hole 51 to the downstream side. The cylindrical main body 3 is configured in a cylindrical shape, and the central axis O1 of the cylindrical main body 3 is the central axis of the water discharge device 1.
[0021] The connecting part 2 is provided on the other side in the central axis direction of the cylindrical main body 3 (left side in FIG. 5) as a part that receives connection of one end of the hose H. Here, the central axis direction is the axial direction of the central axis O1 of the cylindrical main body 3, which is the left-right direction in FIG. 5. The connecting part 2 is a part for sending water discharged from the pump P to the cylindrical main body 3. The connecting part 2 has a connecting part main body 20, as shown in FIGS. 2, 3, and 5.
[0022] The connecting part body 20 is formed in a cylindrical shape with a hollow interior, and has a connecting part inner flow path 21 through which water supplied from the hose H flows. The connecting part body 20 has an upstream end face 27 and a downstream end face 28, both of which are perpendicular to the central axis O1, as end faces on both sides in the central axis direction. The connecting part inner flow path 21 is formed as a flow path with a substantially circular or circular cross-sectional shape by the cylindrical inner circumferential surface 29 of the connecting part body 20, and opens toward each end face of the upstream end face 27 and the downstream end face 28. The connecting part inner flow path 21 has a substantially constant or substantially constant flow path diameter (inner diameter) A throughout, and is formed so that the flow path area is substantially constant or substantially constant throughout. In the following description, in the water-discharging device 1, one side in the central axis direction where the water outlet 34 is formed (the right side in FIG. 5) is referred to as the "downstream side", and the opposite side (the left side in FIG. 5) is referred to as the "upstream side".
[0023] One end of the hose H is connected to the upstream side of the connecting part 2. A well-known connecting structure is used as the connecting structure of the hose H to the connecting part 2. For example, from the viewpoint of obtaining good workability, a structure using a plug-in type connecting fitting called a Machino type, which allows the hose H to be attached and detached relatively easily to the connecting part 2, is used as the connecting structure of the hose H to the connecting part 2. Note that the connecting structure of the hose H to the connecting part 2 is not particularly limited, and may be, for example, a structure using a screw-type connecting fitting.
[0024] A ring-shaped buffer body 26 made of an elastic material such as rubber is attached to the outer periphery of the upstream end of the connecting body 20. The buffer body 26 is provided in a state of being fitted into an outer periphery groove 22 formed on the outer periphery of the upstream end of the connecting body 20. By surrounding the outer periphery of the connecting body 20 with the buffer body 26, the members (metal fittings) constituting the connecting body 20 are protected from external impacts.
[0025] Furthermore, the connecting portion main body 20 has a flange portion 25 at its downstream end for connecting to the cylindrical main body 3. The flange portion 25 is a disk-shaped expanded diameter portion that extends radially outward from the downstream end of the connecting portion main body 20, and is formed as a part of the connecting portion main body 20. The flange portion 25 is a portion that forms the downstream end surface 28 of the connecting portion main body 20.
[0026] The cylindrical main body 3 has a cylindrical outer tube 30. The outer tube 30 is hollow and has a peripheral wall portion forming a cylindrical inner circumferential surface 39, forming a flow path portion 32 for water to flow inside. The inner diameter B, which is a flow path diameter by the inner circumferential surface 39 of the outer tube 30, is approximately constant or constant throughout the central axis O1 direction. The inner diameter B of the outer tube 30 is larger than the flow path diameter A of the connecting portion inner flow path 21. In this embodiment, the inner diameter B of the outer tube 30 is approximately twice the flow path diameter A of the connecting portion inner flow path 21. However, the size relationship between the inner diameter B of the outer tube 30 and the flow path diameter A of the connecting portion inner flow path 21 is not particularly limited.
[0027] The flow path section 32 is a flow path that allows water that has flowed from the connecting portion internal flow path 21 of the connecting portion 2 into the cylindrical main body section 3 to flow to the water outlet 34. The flow path section 32 includes an upstream side flow path section 32a that is formed on the upstream side of the cylindrical main body section 3 and communicates with the connecting portion internal flow path 21 of the connecting portion 2, and a downstream side flow path section 32b that has the water outlet 34 opened on the downstream side.
[0028] The upstream flow passage section 32a is a flow passage portion on the upstream side of the cylindrical main body section 3, and is defined by the first shielding section 5 and the second shielding section 6 at the upstream end of the outer cylinder section 30. The first shielding section 5 and the second shielding section 6 are both plate-like sections formed along a plane perpendicular to the central axis O1. In other words, the upstream flow passage section 32a is formed as a cylindrical space surrounded by the upstream part of the inner circumferential surface 39 of the outer cylinder section 30, the first shielding section 5, and the second shielding section 6.
[0029] 3 and 5, the first shielding portion 5 is provided in the communication portion 4 of the connection portion inner flow path 21 of the connection portion 2 with the upstream flow path portion 32a of the cylindrical main body portion 3. The first shielding portion 5 is formed by a first shielding plate 50 which is a disk-shaped member provided so as to close the upstream opening of the outer tube portion 30. The first shielding plate 50 has an outer diameter dimension that matches the circular opening on the upstream side of the outer tube portion 30, and with the upstream opening of the outer tube portion 30 closed, the outer edge portion is fixed to the open end of the outer tube portion 30 by welding or the like.
[0030] The first shielding portion 5 has a first through hole 51 which narrows the flow area of the connecting portion internal flow path 21 and communicates the connecting portion internal flow path 21 with the upstream flow path portion 32a. The first through hole 51 is a circular opening formed in the center of the first shielding plate 50, and its diameter, i.e., a hole diameter a, is formed to be shorter than the flow path diameter A of the connecting portion internal flow path 21. In this embodiment, the hole diameter a of the first through hole 51 is approximately half the size of the flow path diameter A of the connecting portion internal flow path 21. However, the relationship between the flow path diameter A of the connecting portion internal flow path 21 and the hole diameter a of the first through hole 51 is not limited thereto, and the first through hole 51 may be any hole that narrows the flow path area of the connecting portion internal flow path 21.
[0031] The second shielding portion 6 is formed by the second shielding plate 60, which is a disk-shaped member provided in the outer cylinder portion 30 on the downstream side of the first shielding plate 50 so as to face the first shielding plate 50. The second shielding plate 60 has an outer diameter dimension that matches the inner peripheral surface 39 that is circular in cross section of the outer cylinder portion 30, and the outer edge portion is fixed to the inner peripheral surface 39 by welding or the like while the outer peripheral surface is in contact with the inner peripheral surface 39 over the entire circumference. The second shielding plate 60 forms a partition wall that divides the internal space of the outer cylinder portion 30 into the upstream flow passage portion 32a and a portion downstream of the upstream flow passage portion 32a. The second shielding plate 60 has approximately the same outer diameter as the first shielding plate 50.
[0032] In the configuration as described above, in which the upstream flow path section 32a is formed by the first shielding section 5 and the second shielding section 6 on the upstream side of the cylindrical main body section 3, the connecting section 2 becomes a part that forms the connecting section inner flow path 21 having a flow path area narrower than the flow path area of the upstream flow path section 32a.
[0033] The connecting portion main body 20 of the connecting portion 2 is attached to the cylindrical main body 3 by fixing the flange portion 25 to the first shielding plate 50 at multiple points with bolts E. The bolts E penetrate the flange portion 25 and the first shielding plate 50 from the upstream side and are screwed into nut portions N, which are welded nuts provided on the downstream plate surface of the first shielding plate 50 that is inside the outer cylindrical portion 30. The flange portion 25 and the first shielding plate 50 are formed with fixing holes 25a and fixing holes 52, respectively, through which the bolts E penetrate.
[0034] The fixing portions using the bolts E and the nuts N are provided at four locations at equal angular intervals in the circumferential direction of the flange portion 25. When the connecting portion main body 20 is fixed to the cylindrical main body 3, the downstream end face 28 is in full contact with the upstream plate surface of the first shielding plate 50. The outer diameter of the flange portion 25 is approximately the same as the outer diameter of the first shielding plate 50.
[0035] The second shielding portion 6 has a plurality of second through holes 62 that allow the water that has flowed from the first through hole 51 into the upstream flow passage portion 32a to flow downstream inside the cylindrical main body portion 3. The second through holes 62 are circular openings formed on the peripheral portion of the second shielding plate 60. The multiple second through holes 62 are formed at regular intervals along the circumferential direction on the peripheral portion of the second shielding plate 60. In this embodiment, 30 second through holes 62 are formed at equal angular intervals.
[0036] The shape and number of the second through holes 62 are not limited. The second through holes 62 may be, for example, a single annular opening. Also, for example, the second through holes 62 may be formed in a semicircular arc shape or a quarter-circular arc shape along the periphery of the second shielding plate 60. That is, the second through holes 62 may be formed in any shape as long as the water that has flowed from the connection portion inner flow path 21 into the upstream flow path section 32a via the first through holes 51 can be prevented from stagnation in the upstream flow path section 32a.
[0037] In this embodiment, the hole diameter b of the second through hole 62 is approximately 1 / 3 of the hole diameter a of the first through hole 51. However, the relationship between the hole diameter b of the second through hole 62 and the hole diameter a of the first through hole 51 is not limited to this.
[0038] The second shielding plate 60 having the plurality of second through holes 62 in the peripheral portion in this manner has an annular outer periphery 60a where the plurality of second through holes 62 are formed, and the portion inside the outer periphery 60a is a shielding main body 60b facing the first through hole 51. The shielding main body 60b is a circular area having an outer diameter larger than the flow path diameter A of the connection portion inner flow path 21, and covers the entire first through hole 51 when viewed in the central axis direction from the downstream side. The shielding main body 60b is provided so as to include the entire area where the connection portion inner flow path 21 is formed, when viewed in the central axis direction from the downstream side.
[0039] The water discharge device 1 includes a cylindrical inner tube portion 61 provided in the cylindrical main body portion 3. The inner tube portion 61 is provided on the downstream side of the second shielding portion 6 in the cylindrical main body portion 3. The inner tube portion 61 is configured to be hollow with a peripheral wall portion forming a cylindrical outer circumferential surface 69. The inner tube portion 61 is provided by fixing a cylindrical member to the downstream plate surface of the second shielding plate 60 by welding or the like. In other words, the inner tube portion 61 extends from the second shielding plate 60 toward the downstream side.
[0040] The inner cylinder portion 61 is provided so that its central axis coincides with the central axis O1, and is disposed coaxially with the outer cylinder portion 30. The entire upstream opening of the inner cylinder portion 61 is blocked by the shielding body portion 60b of the second shielding plate 60. That is, the inner cylinder portion 61 is provided so that all the second through holes 62 are positioned outside the outer peripheral surface 69 with respect to the second shielding plate 60. In detail, the inner cylinder portion 61 has an outer diameter such that the circumferential shape of each of the multiple second through holes 62 provided along the circumferential direction is in contact with the outer peripheral surface 69 of the inner cylinder portion 61 when viewed in the central axis direction (see FIG. 8). The downstream opening of the inner cylinder portion 61 is open. In addition, the inner cylinder portion 61 has a length of about 1 / 3 to 1 / 2 of the portion of the outer cylinder portion 30 downstream of the second shielding plate 60 in the central axis direction.
[0041] The inner cylinder 61, together with the cylindrical main body 3, forms a straightening flow path 63 that communicates with the upstream flow path 32a via the second flow hole 62. The straightening flow path 63 is a cylindrical flow path formed by the inner circumferential surface 39 of the outer cylinder 30 and the outer circumferential surface 69 of the inner cylinder 61. The straightening flow path 63 forms an annular shape having a substantially constant width c over the entire circumference when viewed in the central axis direction. The inner cylinder 61 may be formed as a solid cylinder. In this embodiment, the weight of the water-discharging device 1 is reduced by forming the inner cylinder 61 into a hollow shape.
[0042] The water discharge device 1 has a water outlet forming part 31 that forms a water outlet 34. The water outlet forming part 31 is provided on the downstream side of the inner tube part 61 in the cylindrical main body part 3 and in the vicinity of the downstream open end of the outer tube part 30 (see Fig. 5 or Fig. 7). The water outlet forming part 31 is formed by a plate-like annular member 35 having a circular outer shape. The annular member 35 has an outer diameter dimension that matches the inner circumferential surface 39 that is circular in cross section of the outer tube part 30, and the outer edge part is fixed to the inner circumferential surface 39 by welding or the like with the outer circumferential surface in contact with the inner circumferential surface 39 over the entire circumference.
[0043] The water outlet 34 is formed by a circular opening in the center of the annular member 35. The hole diameter C of the water outlet 34 is smaller than the outer diameter of the inner tubular portion 61 and larger than the hole diameter a of the first communication hole 51. In this embodiment, the hole diameter C of the water outlet 34 is larger than the flow path diameter A of the flow path 21 inside the connecting portion.
[0044] The water outlet forming part 31 has a shape (a throttle shape) that gradually narrows the flow area of the cylindrical main body part 3 from the upstream side to the downstream side. In detail, the water outlet forming part 31 has a flat crater shape in which the inner diameter gradually decreases from the upstream edge part having a dimension that matches the inner diameter of the inner peripheral surface 39 of the outer cylinder part 30 to the downstream edge part forming the water outlet 34. The water outlet forming part 31 forms a curved peripheral wall part that has a curved shape with the inner peripheral side being convex in a vertical cross section passing through the central axis O1 (see FIG. 5). In this embodiment, the water outlet 34 is located slightly upstream of the downstream opening end of the outer cylinder part 30 in the central axis direction. However, the water outlet forming part 31 may be provided so that the water outlet 34 is located downstream of the downstream opening end of the outer cylinder part 30 in the central axis direction, that is, so that the water outlet 34 protrudes from the downstream opening end of the outer cylinder part 30.
[0045] Within the outer tube 30, the portion downstream of the inner tube 61 becomes the downstream flow passage 32b. In other words, the downstream flow passage 32b is a space portion within the outer tube 30 that continues to the downstream side of the straightening flow passage 63, and is a space portion whose outer periphery on the downstream side is blocked by the water outlet forming portion 31 and in which the water outlet 34 is opened. The water outlet forming portion 31 may have a shape that gradually narrows the flow passage area of the downstream flow passage 32b from the upstream side to the downstream side. The water outlet forming portion 31 may have, for example, a truncated cone shape (tapered shape) that gradually reduces in diameter from the upstream side to the downstream side.
[0046] The water discharge device 1 includes a support frame 33 provided to surround the cylindrical main body 3. As shown in Figs. 2 to 5, the support frame 33 is a part formed by a square frame body, and is provided to circumscribe the outer tube 30 constituting the cylindrical main body 3. That is, the support frame 33 has four side parts 33a with the radial direction of the outer tube 30 as the plate thickness direction as a part forming a square shape when viewed in the central axis direction, and is provided in such a manner that the center part of each side part 33a is in contact with the outer peripheral surface 38 of the outer tube 30 and the outer tube 30 is inscribed. The frame body forming the support frame 33 is fixed to the outer tube 30 by welding the contact parts of each side part 33 with the outer tube 30. The support frame 33 has a constant width dimension (dimension in the central axis direction) as a whole.
[0047] The support frame 33 is provided in two locations in the cylindrical main body 3, near the upstream and downstream ends of the outer cylinder 30. The two support frame 33 are provided so as to overlap each other when viewed in the central axis direction. The support frame 33 is a part that forms the flat ground surface 33b in the water-discharging device 1. The outer plate surface of each side 33a of the support frame 33 becomes the flat ground surface 33b. The water-discharging device 1 is grounded by positioning the ground surfaces 33b of each side 33a of the two support frame 33 on a common plane, and using the ground surface 33b of any of the lower side 33a as the contact surface with the ground or the like.
[0048] The flow of water in the water-discharging device 1 according to this embodiment having the above-mentioned configuration will be described with reference to Fig. 6. In Fig. 6, the thick black arrows indicate the flow of water circulating in the water-discharging device 1.
[0049] First, water (see arrow W1) supplied from hose H by driving portable pump P and flowing into connecting portion internal flow path 21 flows into upstream flow path portion 32a through first through hole 51 provided in the center of first shielding plate 50 while its flow is obstructed by first shielding plate 50 of first shielding portion 5. Since the opening area of first through hole 51 is smaller than the flow path area of connecting portion internal flow path 21, the water encounters resistance from first shielding plate 50, and the flow rate of the water increases in the process of passing from connecting portion internal flow path 21 through first through hole 51.
[0050] The water that has flowed from the connection portion inner flow path 21 into the upstream flow path portion 32a collides with the shielding main body portion 60b of the second shielding plate 60 of the second shielding portion 6, and is diffused in the upstream flow path portion 32a (see arrow W2). The water in the upstream flow path portion 32a flows into the straightening flow path 63 through the second communication holes 62 provided around the second shielding plate 60. The water (see arrow W2) weakens its momentum by colliding with the second shielding plate 60.
[0051] Water that flows from the upstream flow passage section 32a into the straightening flow passage 63 (see arrow W3) is subjected to a straightening action by the cylindrical flow passage and flows into the downstream flow passage section 32b. The water that flows from the straightening flow passage 63 into the downstream flow passage section 32b is diffused in the downstream flow passage section 32b, and proceeds toward the downstream side of the outer tube section 30 while forming a flow that flows from the downstream end of the inner tube section 61 to the downstream side along the outer circumferential surface of the outer tube section 30 (see arrow W4) and a flow that flows in the central axis direction of the outer tube section 30 (see arrow W5), and is then discharged from the water outlet 34 (see arrow W6).
[0052] Regarding the water discharged from the outer tube portion 30 through the water outlet 34, the constricted shape of the water outlet forming portion 31 that forms the water outlet 34 causes the water that has diffused within the downstream flow path portion 32b to be concentrated toward the central axis of the outer tube portion 30 and straightened, so that the water can be discharged from the water outlet 34 without scattering over a wide area.
[0053] According to the water discharge device 1 of the present embodiment as described above, the first shielding part 5 can provide resistance to the water flowing from the connection part internal flow path 21 into the upstream side flow path part 32a, thereby attenuating the water force, and the shielding body part 60b of the second shielding part 6 can receive and diffuse the water that has flowed into the upstream side flow path part 32a, and then pass it through the multiple second flow holes 62, thereby further attenuating the water force. Due to this attenuation effect on the water, the force of the water discharged from the water discharge port 34 can be attenuated relative to the force of the water supplied from the hose H. As a result, the force of the water discharged from the water discharge port 34 can be suppressed while maintaining a considerably high water pressure, such as the water discharge pressure used in actual firefighting activities, and the recoil caused by the water discharge from the hose H can be suppressed. This makes it easier to secure an inspection site when performing water discharge inspection of a portable pump or the like, and also improves the safety of the inspection work.
[0054] Furthermore, the water-discharging device 1, which is configured to include a connecting portion 2 for receiving a hose H and a cylindrical main body portion 3 having a first shielding portion 5 and a second shielding portion 6 provided therein, can easily obtain the effect of suppressing the force of water discharged from the water outlet 34 and the effect of suppressing the recoil associated with water discharge, with a simple and compact configuration.
[0055] Furthermore, according to the water discharge device 1 of this embodiment, the first flow hole 51 having a flow area narrower than the flow area of the connecting portion internal flow path 21 is provided at the downstream end of the connecting portion internal flow path 21, so that the flow of water flowing through the connecting portion internal flow path 21 can be obstructed and the internal pressure of the pump P can be increased. As a result, in the case where the pump P is driven by an engine and has a radiator, for example, the pressure required to normally circulate the cooling water to the radiator can be obtained as a reaction to the resistance against the water by the first shielding part 5, so that poor cooling of the engine can be prevented and a good operating condition of the pump P can be ensured.
[0056] The water-discharging device 1 further includes an inner cylinder 61 that forms a straightening flow path 63 that communicates with the upstream flow path 32a through the second flow hole 62 within the cylindrical main body 3. With this configuration, the flow of water flowing from the upstream flow path 32a into the straightening flow path 63 through the second flow hole 62 can be straightened, so that the generation of turbulence within the cylindrical main body 3 can be suppressed and the flow of water within the cylindrical main body 3 can be made smooth.
[0057] Furthermore, according to the configuration including the inner tubular portion 61 forming the straightening flow path 63, the water can be diffused when it flows from the straightening flow path 63 into the downstream flow path portion 32b, and therefore the flow velocity can be reduced, and the reaction of the water discharged from the water discharge port 34 of the outer tubular portion 30 can be reduced, and the reaction on the water-discharging device 1 can be suppressed. In other words, the reduction in the flow velocity when the water is discharged from the water-discharging device 1 reduces the water-discharging pressure on the water-discharging device 1, and the risk of the water-discharging device 1 shaking when discharging water can be reduced as much as possible while the water-discharging device 1 is formed compactly.
[0058] The water discharge device 1 also includes a water discharge port forming section 31 that gradually narrows the flow path area of the cylindrical main body 3 from the upstream side to the downstream side as a section that forms the water discharge port 34. With this configuration, the water flowing through the downstream flow path section 32b is concentrated and rectified toward the central axis O1 side from the upstream side to the downstream side, and is discharged from the cylindrical main body 3 through the water discharge port 34. This makes it possible to prevent the water discharged from the water discharge port 34 from scattering over a wide area. By narrowing the range over which the water discharged from the water discharge port 34 scatters, it becomes easier to secure a place to discharge the water.
[0059] 2 and 3, the water-discharging device 1 has support frames 33 provided near the front and rear ends of the outer tube 30 so as to surround the outer tube 30 constituting the cylindrical main body 3. This configuration can prevent the water-discharging device 1 from rolling on the mounting surface due to a reaction force when water is discharged from the water outlet 34 of the cylindrical main body 3 during a water-transport performance test of the pump P. This allows the water-discharging device 1 to be stably installed on the ground or the like, and can prevent deviation in the direction of water discharge from the water outlet 34, resulting in good drainage.
[0060] Although one embodiment of the present invention has been described, the above description is merely an example of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment. Therefore, even if the embodiment is different from the above-described embodiment, various modifications can be made depending on the design, etc., as long as they do not deviate from the technical concept of the present invention.
[0061] In the above-described embodiment, the water-discharging device 1 is used for inspecting the pump P. However, the water-discharging device of the present invention can be attached to the tip of a hose and used for, for example, filling a water tank with water or draining water in the event of a flood, in addition to inspecting the pump P.
