Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a component supplying device and a component mounting device that supply components by peeling a top tape from a carrier tape, and a tape guide member attached to the component supplying device. [Background technology]
[0002] A component supplying device (tape feeder) conveys a carrier tape, peels off a top tape from a base tape containing components, and supplies the components to a component mounting device. Some carrier tapes have a top tape attached to a base tape by adhesive surfaces formed on both ends of the top tape. Such top tapes maintain their adhesiveness on the adhesive surface even after peeling, so there is a problem that if the top tape is left in the peeled state, the adhesive surface of the top tape will stick to the housing of the component supplying device, making it difficult to collect (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
[0003] Patent Document 1 discloses a component supplying device that folds the adhesive surface onto the top tape while feeding the peeled top tape, in order, to a folding roller that creases both ends of the top tape, a raising roller that raises both ends of the top tape towards the adhesive surface, and a folding roller that folds the raised both ends. By folding and attaching the adhesive surface to the inside of the top tape in this way, the adhesive surface is not exposed, making it easy to collect the top tape. [0004] [Patent Document 1] JP 2004-103997 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] However, in the conventional techniques including Patent Document 1, both ends of the peeled top tape are folded while being fed in sequence to multiple rollers, which causes the following problem: If the traveling top tape meanders and deviates from the center of the rollers, the folded portion becomes asymmetric, and one of the adhesive surfaces does not fold and sticks to the housing, making it difficult to collect.
[0006] SUMMARY OF THE PRESENT DISCLOSURE An object of the present invention is to provide a component supplying device, a component mounting device, and a tape guide member that are capable of properly folding both ends of a top tape peeled off from a carrier tape. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] The component supplying device of the present invention is a component supplying device that peels off a top tape when a component is removed from a carrier tape in which a first surface of a top tape, which has an adhesive surface at both widthwise ends and a second surface behind the first surface and does not have the adhesive surface, is releasably attached to a base tape in which components are stored, and the component supplying device comprises: a transport path for transporting the peeled top tape from an insertion end for inserting the peeled top tape, which is the peeled top tape, toward a discharge end for discharging the peeled top tape; a tape guide member including a pair of opposing regulating portions erected from the widthwise ends of the transport path for regulating the widthwise position of the peeled top tape; and a changing portion for changing the adhesive surface in a direction away from the transport path before the peeled top tape is discharged from the discharge end; and a top tape pull-out portion for pulling the peeled top tape discharged from the discharge end toward the second surface side while pulling it out from the discharge end.
[0008] The component mounting device of the present invention mounts components supplied from the component supplying device according to any one of claims 1 to 10 onto a board.
[0009] The tape guide member of the present invention is a tape guide member that is attached to a component supplying device that peels off a top tape when a component is removed from a carrier tape in which a first surface of a top tape, the first surface being composed of an adhesive surface at both widthwise ends and a second surface behind the first surface and not having the adhesive surface, is releasably attached to a base tape in which components are stored, and the tape guide member is provided with: a transport path for transporting the peeled top tape from an insertion end for inserting the peeled top tape, which is the peeled top tape, toward a discharge end for discharging the peeled top tape; a pair of opposing regulating portions erected from the widthwise ends of the transport path for regulating the widthwise position of the peeled top tape; and a changing portion for changing the adhesive surface in a direction away from the transport path before the peeled top tape is discharged from the discharge end; and the tape guide member is installed in the component supplying device upstream in a traveling direction of the peeled top tape of a top tape pull-out portion that pulls the peeled top tape, and at a position where the peeled top tape discharged from the discharge end is pulled toward the second surface by the top tape pull-out portion. Effect of the Invention

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0012] An embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. The configurations, shapes, etc. described below are examples for explanation and can be appropriately changed according to the specifications of the component mounting device and the component supply device (tape feeder). In the following, the same reference numerals are used for corresponding elements in all the drawings, and duplicated explanations will be omitted. In FIG. 1 and in some parts described later, the X-axis (perpendicular to the paper surface in FIG. 1) in the substrate transport direction and the Y-axis (left-right direction in FIG. 1) perpendicular to the substrate transport direction are shown as two axes perpendicular to each other in the horizontal plane. In FIG. 1 and in some parts described later, the Z-axis (up-down direction in FIG. 1) is shown as the height direction perpendicular to the horizontal plane.
[0013] First, the configuration of a component mounting device 1 will be described with reference to Figures 1 and 2. In Figure 1, the component mounting device 1 has a function of mounting a component D on a board B. A board transport mechanism 3 provided on the upper surface of a base 2 transports, positions, and holds the board B along the X-axis. A head moving mechanism 4 provided above the base 2 moves a mounting head 5, which is detachably attached via a plate 4a, in horizontal directions (X-axis direction, Y-axis direction). A nozzle 6 is detachably attached to the lower end of the mounting head 5.
[0014] A plurality of component supply devices 20 (tape feeders) are mounted in a line along the X-axis on a feeder base 7a on the upper part of a carriage 7 coupled to the base 2 on the side of the board transport mechanism 3. A carrier tape 9 storing components D to be supplied to the component mounting device 1 is wound and stored on a reel 8 and held on the carriage 7. The carrier tape 9 inserted into the component supply device 20 is pitch-fed, and the components D stored on the carrier tape 9 are sequentially supplied to component supply positions 20a provided on the upper part of the component supply device 20.
[0015] 1 and 2(a), in a component mounting operation, the mounting head 5 is moved above the component supply device 20 by the head moving mechanism 4 (arrow a in FIG. 2(a)), and picks up a component D supplied to a component supply position 20a of the component supply device 20 by vacuum suction with the nozzle 6 (arrow b in FIG. 1). The mounting head 5 holding the component D is moved above the board B held by the board transport mechanism 3 by the head moving mechanism 4, and mounts the component D at a predetermined component mounting position Ba on the board B (arrow c in FIG. 1).
[0016] 2(a), a pressing member 21 that guides the carrier tape 9 from above is disposed on the upper portion of the component supply device 20. The pressing member 21 is provided with an opening 21a located at the component supply position 20a (see also FIGS. 4 and 5).
[0017] 2(b) shows the carrier tape 9 near the component supply position 20a as viewed from above, with the pressing member 21 omitted from the illustration. The base tape 10 of the carrier tape 9 is formed with equally spaced recessed pockets 10a for storing components D and feed holes 10b that engage with a sprocket 23 (see FIG. 5) that pitch-feeds the carrier tape 9. A top tape 11 is attached to the upper surface of the pockets 10a that store the components D.
[0018] In Fig. 2(a), the top tape 11 is peeled off and folded back at edge 21b (see also Figs. 4 and 5) located upstream of opening 21a in the traveling direction of the carrier tape. The peeled off top tape 11 (hereinafter referred to as "peeled top tape 11P") is pulled and moved in the opposite direction to the traveling direction of the carrier tape (the traveling direction of the peeled top tape). This opens up the upper part of pocket 10a downstream in the traveling direction of the carrier tape 9 (right side of Fig. 2(a)) including component supply position 20a.
[0019] The nozzle 6 of the mounting head 5 is moved by the head moving mechanism 4 to above the component supply position 20a (arrow a), and picks up the component D stored in the pocket 10a of the component supply position 20a through the opening 21a. In this manner, in the component supply device 20, when the component D is picked up from the carrier tape 9, the top tape 11 is peeled off from the base tape 10 in which the component D is stored.
[0020] Next, the top tape 11 of the carrier tape 9 will be described in detail with reference to FIG. 3. Hereinafter, of the two surfaces of the top tape 11, the side that contacts and is attached to the base tape 10 will be referred to as the first surface 11a, and the back surface of the first surface 11a will be referred to as the second surface 11b. FIG. 3(b) is a plan view of the top tape 11P after peeling from the base tape 10, seen from the first surface 11a side. The first surface 11a of the top tape 11 has adhesive surfaces 12 that are adhesive at both ends in the width direction. In this way, the top tape 11 is composed of the first surface 11a having the adhesive surfaces 12 at both ends in the width direction and the second surface 11b that is located on the back side of the first surface 11a and does not have the adhesive surface 12.
[0021] The carrier tape 9 is inserted into the component supplying device 20 with the first surface 11a of the top tape 11 attached to the base tape 10 by the adhesive surface 12. The component supplying device 20 pitch-feeds the carrier tape 9 in the advancing direction of the carrier tape, and when the component D is taken out from the carrier tape 9, the component supplying device 20 peels the top tape 11 from the carrier tape 9 in which the first surface 11a of the top tape 11 is releasably attached to the base tape 10 in which the component D is stored (FIG. 3(a)). The peeled top tape 11 (peeled top tape 11P) moves while being pulled in the advancing direction of the peeled top tape, which is opposite to the advancing direction of the carrier tape, with the first surface 11a having the adhesive surface 12 facing upward.
[0022] Next, the configuration of the component supplying device 20 will be described with reference to Figures 4 to 6. Inside a main body 22 of the component supplying device 20 mounted on the feeder base 7a of the dolly 7, there is provided a tape running path 22c along which the carrier tape 9 runs between an insertion opening 22a through which the carrier tape 9 is inserted and an ejection opening 22b through which the carrier tape 9 is ejected. A sprocket 23 having feed pins that engage with feed holes 10b of the carrier tape 9 is disposed in the main body 22 upstream of the ejection opening 22b in the advancing direction of the carrier tape. The sprocket 23 is rotationally driven by a rotation drive mechanism 24 equipped with a motor.
[0023] A presser member 21 is disposed above the sprocket 23. A rotary drive mechanism 24 drives the sprocket 23 to rotate intermittently, thereby pitch-feeding the carrier tape 9 on the tape running path 22c. In the process of pitch-feeding the carrier tape 9, the top tape 11 is peeled off at an edge 21b of the presser member 21, and the components D stored in the pockets 10a whose upper portions are open are taken out by the nozzle 6 through the openings 21a of the presser member 21. The empty carrier tape 9 (base tape 10) from which the components D have been taken out is discharged from the discharge port 22b.
[0024] In Figures 4 to 6, the peeled top tape 11P that has been peeled off and folded back at edge portion 21b is pulled in the traveling direction of the peeled top tape by top tape feeding mechanism 25 and is collected in a collection section 26 provided upstream of the traveling direction of the carrier tape of main body portion 22 (downstream of the traveling direction of the peeled top tape).
[0025] Next, the configuration of the top tape feed mechanism 25 will be described with reference to Fig. 6. In the top tape feed mechanism 25, a tension guide mechanism 27, a tape guide member 40, and a top tape pull-out portion 28 are arranged so as to be aligned from upstream to downstream in the advancing direction of the top tape after peeling.
[0026] 6, tension guide mechanism 27 includes a movable tension roller 29. Tension roller 29 is held by lever member 31a having a fulcrum coaxial with guide roller 30. Peeled top tape 11P travels around the upper side of guide roller 30 and the lower side of tension roller 29, and is guided to tape guide member 40. Spring 32 is connected to arm member 31b that is integral with lever member 31a. Lever member 31a and arm member 31b are constantly biased downward by spring 32. As a result, tension is applied to peeled top tape 11P by tension roller 29.
[0027] When slack occurs in the peeled top tape 11P at the position of the tension guide mechanism 27, the tension roller 29 moves downward. At the same time, the arm member 31b rotates due to the biasing force of the spring 32, and the dog 31c provided at the tip of the arm member 31b is displaced downward. This displacement is then detected by the photoswitch 33, and the slack in the peeled top tape 11P is detected.
[0028] In FIG. 6, the tape guide member 40 has the function of folding back both widthwise ends of the peeled-off top tape 11P inward as the peeled-off top tape 11P passes through the tape guide member 40, thereby attaching the adhesive surface 12 to the first surface 11a of the peeled-off top tape 11P, as will be described later.
[0029] 6, the peeled top tape 11P that has passed through the tape guide member 40 is sandwiched and pulled by rotary feed members 34 and 35 provided in the top tape pull-out section 28, thereby being fed into the recovery section 26. The rotary feed members 34 and 35 are rotated by transmitting the rotation of a motor 36a to the rotary feed member 35 via a bevel gear 36b and a transmission gear member 37.
[0030] 5 and 6, the control unit 38 included in the component supplying device 20 is connected to the motor of the rotation drive mechanism 24, the photoswitch 33 of the tension guide mechanism 27, and the motor 36a of the top tape pull-out unit 28. The control unit 38 controls the motor of the rotation drive mechanism 24 and the motor 36a of the top tape pull-out unit 28 to execute the component supplying operation.
[0031] When the photoswitch 33 of the tension guide mechanism 27 detects slack in the peeled top tape 11P, the control unit 38 operates the motor 36a of the top tape pull-out unit 28 to rotate the rotary feed members 34, 35, and pulls the peeled top tape 11P to recover it in the recovery unit 26. When the peeled top tape 11P is pulled and the slack is eliminated, and the photoswitch 33 no longer detects the slack, the control unit 38 stops the motor 36a.
[0032] Next, the configuration of a first modified example of the component supplying device (hereinafter, simply referred to as "component supplying device 20A") will be described with reference to Fig. 7. The component supplying device 20A is a double feeder that includes two sets of tape running path 22c, rotation drive mechanism 24, top tape feed mechanism 25, and recovery unit 26 arranged in parallel in the traveling direction of the carrier tape inside main body 22A, and independently transports two carrier tapes 9 to supply components D. That is, the component supplying device 20A includes two insertion openings 22a for pulling out and inserting the carrier tape 9 stored in reel 8, and two openings 21a for supplying components D to the nozzle 6.
[0033] Next, the configurations of the top tape feed mechanism 25A and the recovery unit 26A of the component supply device 20A will be described with reference to Figs. 8 to 10. Fig. 10 shows a cross section of the recovery unit 26A when the component supply device 20A is viewed from the insertion opening 22a side. Hereinafter, the right side in Fig. 10 will be referred to as "right" and the left side as "left". That is, inside the main body 22A of the component supply device 20A, a first recovery unit 26R on the right side and a second recovery unit 26L on the left side that recover the top tape 11P after peeling are provided. The first recovery unit 26R and the second recovery unit 26L are provided in the main body 22A so as to be separated from each other from the center CA in the width direction of the main body 22A.
[0034] 8 to 10, the first top tape feed mechanism 25R on the right side of the component supplying device 20A includes a first tension roller 29R and a first top tape pull-out section 28R. The first top tape pull-out section 28R includes a first rotary feed member 34R, a first rotary feed member 35R, and a first transmission gear member 37R. The second top tape feed mechanism 25L on the left side of the component supplying device 20A includes a second tension roller 29L and a second top tape pull-out section 28L. The second top tape pull-out section 28L includes a second rotary feed member 34L, a second rotary feed member 35L, and a second transmission gear member 37L (not shown). The mechanisms constituting the first top tape feed mechanism 25R and the second top tape feed mechanism 25L are arranged to face each other symmetrically in the advancing direction of the top tape after peeling.
[0035] 8, the tape guide member 40A is formed with a first transport path 41R along which the peeled top tape 11P is transported as it is guided around the lower side of the first tension roller 29R, and a second transport path 41L along which the peeled top tape 11P is transported as it is guided around the lower side of the second tension roller 29L. The first transport path 41R and the second transport path 41L are grooves arranged side by side in the tape guide member 40A. The tape guide member 40A is detachable from the main body 22A, and is fixed to the main body 22A by a screw 39A inserted into a through hole 40Aa (FIG. 11) formed in the tape guide member 40A.
[0036] Next, the configuration and function of the tape guide member 40A of the component supply device 20A will be described with reference to Figures 11 and 12. Figure 12(a) is a cross section taken along the line V1-V1 shown in Figure 11, Figure 12(b) is a cross section taken along the line V2-V2 shown in Figure 11, and Figure 12(c) is a cross section taken along the line V3-V3 shown in Figure 11.
[0037] 11, the tape guide member 40A is formed with a first insertion end 42R and a second insertion end 42L on the left and right sides upstream in the traveling direction of the peeled top tape when attached to the main body portion 22A for inserting the peeled top tape 11P. Also, the tape guide member 40A is formed with a first discharge end 43R and a second discharge end 43L on the left and right sides downstream in the traveling direction of the peeled top tape when attached to the main body portion 22A for discharging the peeled top tape 11P.
[0038] The first transport path 41R is a transport path for transporting the peeled top tape 11P from the first insertion end 42R toward the first discharge end 43R. The second transport path 41L is a transport path for transporting the peeled top tape 11P from the second insertion end 42L toward the second discharge end 43L. The first discharge end 43R of the first transport path 41R and the second discharge end 43L of the second transport path 41L are provided on the tape guide member 40A so as to be spaced apart from each other from the center CA in the width direction of the main body portion 22A (see also FIG. 10).
[0039] 11, the first transport path 41R and the second transport path 41L are provided with a pair of opposing first regulating portions 41Ra and 41Rb and a pair of opposing second regulating portions 41La and 41Lb that stand upright from the widthwise ends of the transport paths and regulate the widthwise position of the peeled top tape 11P. The peeled top tape 11P transported through the first transport path 41R and the second transport path 41L has both ends having the adhesive surface 12 in the widthwise direction folded upward along the pair of opposing first regulating portions 41Ra, 41Rb and second regulating portions 41La, 41Lb (see FIG. 12(a) and FIG. 12(b)). That is, the orientation of the adhesive surface 12 is changed from the upward direction to the horizontal direction (the direction away from the first transport path 41R and the second transport path 41L).
[0040] Of the pair of opposing first regulating portions 41Ra, 41Rb in the first transport path 41R, the first regulating portion 41Rb closer to the center CA in the width direction of the main body portion 22A is provided with a first narrowing portion 44R such that the regulated interval narrows from the upstream to the downstream in the traveling direction of the peeled top tape. Also, of the pair of opposing second regulating portions 41La, 41Lb in the second transport path 41L, the second regulating portion 41Lb closer to the center CA in the width direction of the main body portion 22A is provided with a second narrowing portion 44L such that the regulated interval narrows from the upstream to the downstream in the traveling direction of the peeled top tape.
[0041] 11, the first conveying path 41R and the second conveying path 41L have widths W3 and W4 (see also FIG. 12(c)) at the first and second discharging ends 43R and 43L that are narrower than widths W1 and W2 (see also FIG. 12(a)) at the first and second insertion ends 42R and 42L. When the peeled top tape 11P is conveyed through the first conveying path 41R and the second conveying path 41L, the amount (width) at both ends in the width direction that are bent upward increases as the interval between the first restricting portions 41Ra, 41Rb and the second restricting portions 41La, 41Lb narrows when the peeled top tape 11P passes through the first and second drawing portions 44R and 44L (see also FIG. 12(b)).
[0042] In other words, in the first transport path 41R and the second transport path 41L, the positions where the first narrowing portion 44R and the second narrowing portion 44L are arranged are a pair of opposing first regulating portions 41Ra, 41Rb and second regulating portions 41La, 41Lb that are spaced apart from each other by a distance narrower than the widths W1, W2 of the peeled top tape 11P before changing the orientation of the adhesive surface 12. In the tape guide member 40A, the positions where the first narrowing portion 44R of the first regulating portions 41Ra, 41Rb and the second narrowing portion 44L of the second regulating portions 41La, 41Lb are arranged constitute the first changing portion 45R and the second changing portion 45L that change the adhesive surface 12 in a direction away from the first transport path 41R and the second transport path 41L before the peeled top tape 11P is discharged from the first discharging end portion 43R and the second discharging end portion 43L.
[0043] 8 to 10, the first rotating feed members 34R, 35R of the first top tape pull-out portion 28R are disposed so that the positions at which they pinch the peeled top tape 11P are lower than the height position of the first discharge end portion 43R. As a result, the first top tape pull-out portion 28R pinches the peeled top tape 11P discharged from the first discharge end portion 43R between the first rotating feed members 34R, 35R and pulls it toward the second surface 11b while pulling it out from the first discharge end portion 43R.
[0044] Similarly, the second rotating feed members 34L, 35L of the second top tape pull-out portion 28L are disposed so that the position at which they pinch the peeled top tape 11P is lower than the height position of the second discharge end 43L. As a result, the second top tape pull-out portion 28L pinches the peeled top tape 11P discharged from the second discharge end 43L between the second rotating feed members 34L, 35L and pulls it toward the second surface 11b while pulling it out from the second discharge end 43L.
[0045] In this way, the tape guide member 40A is disposed in the component supplying device 20A at a position upstream of the first top tape pull-out portion 28R and the second top tape pull-out portion 28L that pull the peeled top tape 11P in the advancing direction of the peeled top tape, and at a position where the peeled top tape 11P discharged from the first discharge end portion 43R and the second discharge end portion 43L is pulled toward the second surface 11b by the first top tape pull-out portion 28R and the second top tape pull-out portion 28L. The force pulling the peeled top tape 11P toward the second surface 11b prevents the peeled top tape 11P transported along the first transport path 41R and the second transport path 41L from meandering and becoming misaligned left and right.
[0046] 12(c), near the first discharge end 43R and the second discharge end 43L, the adhesive surface 12 is tilted toward the unmodified surface of the first surface 11a whose orientation has not been changed by the first changing portion 45R and the second changing portion 45L due to a force applied to the discharged peeled top tape 11P pulling it toward the second surface 11b. That is, in the tape guide member 40A, the peeled top tape 11P transported through the first transport path 41R and the second transport path 41L is bent inwardly so that the adhesive surface 12 sticks to the unmodified surface of the first surface 11a when it is discharged from the first discharge end 43R and the second discharge end 43L.
[0047] 8 to 10, the first rotating feed members 34R, 35R of the first top tape pull-out portion 28R and the second rotating feed members 34L, 35L of the second top tape pull-out portion 28L are two gears having two rows of teeth G arranged on their outer peripheries and meshing with each other. The two rows of teeth G of the first rotating feed members 34R, 35R and the second rotating feed members 34L, 35L are set so as to overlap the position where the adhesive surface 12 is inclined onto the unaltered surface of the first surface 11a of the peeled top tape 11P discharged from the first discharge end portion 43R and the second discharge end portion 43L. In other words, the positions of the two rows of teeth G of the first rotating feed members 34R, 35R and the second rotating feed members 34L, 35L are set according to the width of the peeled top tape 11P and the position of the adhesive surface 12.
[0048] In this way, first top tape pull-out portion 28R and second top tape pull-out portion 28L are provided with two gears (first rotary feed members 34R, 35R and second rotary feed members 34L, 35L) that have at least two rows of teeth G arranged on their outer peripheries and mesh with each other, at least two rows of the teeth G of the two gears are positioned to overlap with the inverted adhesive surface 12 of peeled top tape 11P, and peeled top tape 11P is pulled by clamping and pulling the peeled top tape 11P between the two rotating gears, thereby drawing out the peeled top tape 11P from first discharge end 43R and second discharge end 43L. By clamping the bent portion of peeled top tape 11P between the two rotating gears, even adhesive surface 12 with weak adhesive strength can be reliably attached to the unmodified surface of first surface 11a.
[0049] Next, the configuration of the recovery section 26A will be described with reference to Fig. 10. The recovery section 26A has a first recovery section 26R that recovers the peeled top tape 11P discharged from the first discharge end 43R of the first transport path 41R, and a second recovery section 26L that recovers the peeled top tape 11P discharged from the second discharge end 43L of the second transport path 41L. The widths W5, W6 of the first recovery section 26R and the second recovery section 26L are narrower than the width W7 of the peeled top tape 11P before the orientation of the adhesive surface 12 is changed, and are wider (W8, W9) than the widths W8, W9 of the peeled top tape 11P with the adhesive surface 12 tilted down (the peeled top tape 11P with the adhesive surface 12 folded inward). <W5<W7、W9<W6<W7)。
[0050] This prevents the peeled-off top tape 11P pulled out from the first discharge end 43R and the second discharge end 43L from becoming clogged in the first collection section 26R and the second collection section 26L due to twisting or the like, and allows the peeled-off top tape 11P to be properly collected in the first collection section 26R and the second collection section 26L.
[0051] Next, the configurations of the top tape feed mechanism 25B and the collection unit 26B of a second modified example of the component supplying device (hereinafter simply referred to as "component supplying device 20B") will be described with reference to Figures 13 to 15. Like the component supplying device 20 shown in Figures 4 to 6, the component supplying device 20B is a single feeder that includes a set of the tape running path 22c, the rotation drive mechanism 24, the top tape feed mechanism 25B, and the collection unit 26B inside the main body 22B. The top tape feed mechanism 25B has a configuration similar to that of the first top tape feed mechanism 25R of the component supplying device 20A described above.
[0052] 15 shows a cross section of the recovery section 26B of the component supplying device 20B as viewed from the insertion opening 22a side. Inside the main body 22B of the component supplying device 20B, a recovery section 26B is provided for recovering the peeled top tape 11P discharged from the discharge end 43B. The recovery section 26B is provided in the main body 22B such that the center in the width direction of the recovery section 26B is shifted from the center CB in the width direction of the main body 22B. In addition, the discharge end 43B is provided such that the center in the width direction of the recovery section 26B is shifted in the same direction as the center in the width direction of the discharge end 43B is shifted from the center CB in the width direction of the main body 22B.
[0053] 13 to 15, the top tape feed mechanism 25B of the component supply device 20B includes a tension roller 29B and a top tape pull-out section 28B. The top tape pull-out section 28B includes a rotary feed member 34B, a rotary feed member 35B, and a transmission gear member 37B. The tape guide member 40B is formed with a conveying path 41B, which is a groove for conveying the peeled top tape 11P from an insertion end 42B for inserting the peeled top tape 11P guided around the upper side of the tension roller 29B toward a discharge end 43B for discharging the peeled top tape 11P. The tape guide member 40B is detachable from the main body 22B, and is fixed to the main body 22B by a screw 39B inserted into a through hole 40Ba (FIG. 16) formed in the tape guide member 40B.
[0054] Next, the configuration and function of the tape guide member 40B of the component supply device 20B will be described with reference to Figures 16 and 17. Figure 17(a) shows a part of the V4-V4 cross section shown in Figure 16, and Figure 17(b) shows a part of the V5-V5 cross section shown in Figure 16.
[0055] The tape guide member 40B is formed with an insertion end 42B for inserting the peeled top tape 11P upstream in the advancing direction of the peeled top tape while attached to the main body portion 22B, and a discharge end 43B for discharging the peeled top tape 11P downstream. The transport path 41B is a transport path (groove) for transporting the peeled top tape 11P from the insertion end 42B toward the discharge end 43B. The transport path 41B is formed with a pair of opposing regulating portions 41Ba and 41Bb that stand upright from the ends in the width direction of the transport path and regulate the position of the peeled top tape 11P in the width direction.
[0056] 16 and 17, the width W10 at the insertion end 42B of the transport path 41B and the width W11 at the discharge end 43B are narrower than the width W7 (see FIG. 15) of the peeled top tape 11P before the orientation of the adhesive surface 12 is changed. That is, the pair of opposing regulating portions 41Ba, 41Bb are spaced apart from each other at a distance narrower than the width W7 of the peeled top tape 11P before the orientation of the adhesive surface 12 is changed. Therefore, both ends in the width direction of the peeled top tape 11P, including the adhesive surface 12, are folded upward near the insertion end 42B (FIG. 17(a)). That is, the pair of opposing regulating portions 41Ba, 41Bb constitute a changing portion 45B that changes the adhesive surface 12 in a direction away from the transport path 41B before the peeled top tape 11P is discharged from the discharge end 43B.
[0057] 13 to 15, the rotary feed members 34B, 35B of the top tape pull-out portion 28B are disposed so that the positions at which the peeled top tape 11P is sandwiched are lower than the height position of the discharge end 43B. As a result, the top tape pull-out portion 28B pinches the peeled top tape 11P discharged from the discharge end 43B between the rotary feed members 34B, 35B and pulls it toward the second surface 11b while pulling it out from the discharge end 43B.
[0058] That is, the tape guide member 40B is located upstream of the top tape extraction portion 28B that pulls the peeled top tape 11P in the component supply device 20B, in the advancing direction of the peeled top tape, and is installed at a position where the peeled top tape 11P discharged from the discharge end portion 43B is pulled toward the second surface 11b side by the top tape extraction portion 28B. Due to the pulling force toward the second surface 11b side, the peeled top tape 11P conveyed through the conveyance path 41B is prevented from meandering and shifting in the left - right position.
[0059] In FIG. 17(b), near the discharge end portion 43B, due to the pulling force applied to the discharged peeled top tape 11P toward the second surface 11b side, the adhesive surface 12 is tilted toward the unchanged surface of the first surface 11a that has not been changed in direction by the changing portion 45B. That is, in the tape guide member 40B, when the peeled top tape 11P conveyed through the conveyance path 41B is discharged from the discharge end portion 43B, the adhesive surface 12 is bent inward so as to stick to the unchanged surface of the first surface 11a.
[0060] In FIG. 15, the width W12 of the recovery portion 26B is narrower than the width W7 of the peeled top tape 11P before the direction of the adhesive surface 12 is changed, and wider than the width W13 of the peeled top tape 11P with the adhesive surface 12 tilted (the peeled top tape 11P with the adhesive surface 12 bent inward) (W13 < W12 < W7). Thereby, the peeled top tape 11P pulled out from the discharge end portion 43B can be appropriately recovered into the recovery portion 26B without being clogged due to twisting or the like inside the recovery portion 26B.
[0061] As described above, the component supply device 20B (component supply device 20A) of the present embodiment includes a tape guide member 40B (tape guide member 40A), and a top tape extraction portion 28B (first top tape extraction portion 28R, second top tape extraction portion 28L) that pulls the peeled top tape 11P discharged from the discharge end portion 43B (first discharge end portion 43R, second discharge end portion 43L) toward the second surface 11b side and pulls it out from the discharge end portion 43B (first discharge end portion 43R, second discharge end portion 43L).
[0062] The tape guide member 40B (tape guide member 40A) includes a transport path 41B (first transport path 41R, second transport path 41L) for transporting the peeled top tape 11P, a pair of opposing regulating portions 41Ba, 41Bb (first regulating portions 41Ra, 41Rb, second regulating portions 41La, 41Lb) standing from the widthwise ends of the transport path to regulate the widthwise position of the peeled top tape, and a changing portion 45B (first changing portion 45R, second changing portion 45L) that changes the adhesive surface 12 in a direction away from the transport path before the peeled top tape 11P is discharged from the discharge end 43B (first discharge end 43R, second discharge end 43L). This allows both ends of the top tape 11 peeled off from the carrier tape 9 to be properly folded inward. [Industrial Applicability]
[0063] The component supplying device, component mounting device, and tape guide member of the present invention have the effect of being able to properly fold both ends of a top tape peeled off from a carrier tape, and are useful in the field of mounting components onto a substrate.
