Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to construction machinery.
Background Art
[0002] A hydraulic excavator, which is a representative example of construction machinery, generally includes a self-propelled lower traveling body, an upper revolving body rotatably mounted on the lower traveling body via a slewing device, a working device provided on the upper revolving body, and a plurality of hydraulic actuators. The hydraulic actuators mounted on the hydraulic excavator are roughly classified into a traveling actuator composed of a traveling hydraulic motor provided on the lower traveling body and a working actuator composed of a slewing hydraulic motor provided on the slewing device and a plurality of hydraulic cylinders provided on the working device. A driver's cab for an operator to board is installed on the upper revolving body, and a traveling operation device and a working operation device operated by the operator are provided in the driver's cab. By controlling the operations of various hydraulic actuators according to the operations of the operator on these operation devices, excavation work and the like using the hydraulic excavator are performed.
[0003] A seat on which the operator sits is provided in the driver's cab, and the operation devices are arranged around this seat. For example, operation levers of the working operation device are respectively arranged on the left and right of the seat, and an operation lever of the traveling operation device is arranged in front of the seat. Further, a roll-type sunshade having a winding mechanism may be mounted on the window portion of the driver's cab to shield direct sunlight. The operator can prevent direct sunlight that hinders operation from entering the driver's cab through the window portion by pulling out and fixing this sunshade as needed.
[0004] Regarding the sunshade installed in the cab of construction machinery, for example, the technology of Patent Document 1 is known. Patent Document 1 describes a roll screen installed in the cab of an excavator that can be used as a sunshade, with a weight bar attached to the lower end, and it is possible to stop the weight bar by locking it to a guide wire with a stopper.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0006] In construction machinery, large windows are often installed in the driver's seat to ensure workability by the working device and to check the surrounding situation. When installing a sunshade in the cab of construction machinery, it is necessary to prevent the pulled-out sunshade from interfering with the operation of the operating device by the operator. However, although the roll screen described in Patent Document 1 can be stopped at an arbitrary lifting position, the operability of the operator's operating device is not considered. Therefore, depending on the position where the weight bar of the roll screen is fixed in the cab, the operation of the operating device by the operator may be hindered, leading to a deterioration in operability and an accidental operation of the construction machinery due to the deteriorated operability.
[0007]
Means for Solving the Problems
[0008] The present invention relates to a construction machine including a driver's cab, a seat installed in the driver's cab and having a headrest, an operation lever disposed on a side portion of the seat and operated by an operator, and a sunshade disposed on a side window portion of the driver's cab. The sunshade has a screen and a winding device that winds up the screen at a position above the headrest. The screen can be pulled downward from the winding device, and the pulled-out screen is fixed in a pulled-out state such that a lower end portion of the screen is positioned above the operation lever.
Advantages of the Invention
[0009] According to the present invention, it is possible to ensure the operability and prevent misoperation in a construction machine in which a sunshade is installed in a driver's cab.
[0010] Furthermore, additional features related to the present invention will become apparent from the description in this specification and the accompanying drawings. Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention
[0012] FIG. 1 is an external view of a hydraulic excavator which is an example of a construction machine according to an embodiment of the present invention. The hydraulic excavator 1 shown in FIG. 1 has a vehicle body composed of a lower traveling body 2 including a pair of left and right traveling motors 2a and crawlers 2b, and an upper revolving body 4 rotatably provided on the lower traveling body 2 via a slewing device 3.
[0013] The lower traveling body 2 can travel on rough ground or the like by driving the left and right crawlers 2b with a traveling motor 2a which is a hydraulic actuator for traveling. The slewing device 3 operates by a slewing motor (not shown) which is a hydraulic actuator for slewing, and slews the upper slewing body 4 in an arbitrary left or right direction with respect to the lower traveling body 2.
[0014] On the front side of the upper slewing body 4, a working device 5 composed of a boom 5a, an arm 5b, and a bucket 5c is provided. The boom 5a is driven by a pair of left and right boom cylinders 6a, the arm 5b is driven by an arm cylinder 6b, and the bucket 5c is driven by a bucket cylinder 6c. That is, by the hydraulic cylinders 6 (boom cylinder 6a, arm cylinder 6b, and bucket cylinder 6c), which are hydraulic actuators for work, respectively expanding and contracting to drive, the working device 5 is driven, and earthwork operations and the like are performed.
[0015] Further, a driver's cab 10 is provided on the upper slewing body 4. The operator sits in the driver's cab 10 and operates the hydraulic excavator 1.
[0016] FIG. 2 is a view showing the inside of the driver's cab 10. Inside the driver's cab 10, a seat 11 which is a driver's seat when the operator boards the hydraulic excavator 1 is arranged. The operator operates the hydraulic excavator 1 while sitting on this seat 11. The seat 11 has a headrest 11a, a backrest 11b, and a seat surface portion 11c.
[0017] Around the seat 11, an operating device 12 for operating the upper slewing body 4 and the working device 5 is arranged. The operating device 12 is composed of a right operating lever 12a and a left operating lever 12b. The operator sitting on the seat 11 holds the operating lever 12a arranged on the right side of the seat 11 and the operating lever 12b arranged on the left side respectively, and performs an operation of tilting them in an arbitrary direction, thereby controlling the operations of the respective hydraulic cylinders 6 and the slewing device 3 attached to the working device 5, and thus the working device 5 and the upper slewing body 4 can be operated.
[0018] The correspondence between the operating directions of the operating levers 12a and 12b in the operating device 12 and the operation contents of the working device 5 and the upper slewing body 4 can be determined according to an arbitrary operation setting pattern. For example, the forward and backward operation of the right operating lever 12a corresponds to the up and down movement of the boom 5a, and the left and right operation corresponds to the opening and closing movement of the bucket 5c respectively. The forward and backward operation of the left operating lever 12b corresponds to the left and right slewing movement of the upper slewing body 4, and the left and right operation corresponds to the opening and closing movement of the arm 5b respectively, so that the operation setting pattern can be determined. It should be noted that the correspondence between each operating lever and the operation content in the operation setting pattern is only an example, and other correspondences are also possible. In addition, the operation method of the operating levers 12a and 12b is not limited to the operation of tilting in any of the up, down, left, and right directions as described above, and any operation method can be adopted.
[0019] The operating device 12 may include members other than the operating levers 12a and 12b. For example, an operating lever for operating the lower traveling body 2 may be installed separately from the operating levers 12a and 12b in front of the seat 11. In addition, the operating device 12 may include various operating members such as push buttons, toggle switches, dial switches, and touch panels.
[0020] In the driver's cab 10, a window portion is provided around the seat 11. A transparent member such as glass is installed in this window portion so that the operator can visually recognize the state of the hydraulic excavator 1 and the working environment from the driver's cab 10 through the window portion. Inside the window portion, a guard pipe 15 is installed to protect the operator inside the driver's cab 10, for example, to prevent the operator from accidentally touching the damaged part when the glass of the window portion is damaged.
[0021] A sunshade 13 for shielding direct sunlight is arranged on the side window portion 14 provided on the right side of the seat 11 among the window portions of the driver's cab 10. The sunshade 13 can be fixed to the guard pipe 15 inside the driver's cab 10. The operator can pull out the sunshade 13 wound in a roll downward as needed and fix it to the guard pipe 15, thereby partially shielding the side window portion 14 with the sunshade 13 and preventing direct sunlight that would interfere with the operation of the hydraulic excavator 1 from entering the driver's cab 10 through the side window portion 14. Note that the sunshade 13 is installed behind the line of sight from the operator seated on the seat 11 to the work location (around the bucket 5c) so as not to block the operator's field of view during work.
[0022] The guard pipe 15 is provided with a holder 16 for fixing the sunshade 13 in the pulled-out state. In FIG. 2, two upper and lower guard pipes 15 are arranged on the side window portion 14, and an example in which two holders 16 are provided on the lower guard pipe 15 is shown, but the number and arrangement of the guard pipes 15 and the holders 16 are not limited to this.
[0023] FIG. 3 is a diagram showing the positional relationship among the seat 11, the operation lever 12a, the sunshade 13, and the holder 16. In FIG. 3, a view of looking into the driver's cab 10 from the left side of the seat 11 toward the installation position of the sunshade 13 is shown so that these positional relationships can be understood.
[0024] The sunshade 13 includes a sheet-like screen 13a that is a shielding material, a bar 13b that is a member connected to the lower end of the screen 13a and is gripped by the operator when pulling the screen 13a downward, and a winding device 13c for winding up the screen 13a. The winding device 13c is fixed at a predetermined position inside the side window portion 14 in the cab 10 and can wind up the screen 13a in a roll shape at a predetermined winding position according to the fixed position automatically or by the operation of the operator. FIG. 3 shows a state in which a part of the upper side of the screen 13a is wound up in a roll shape by the winding device 13c at a position above the headrest 11a.
[0025] The two holders 16 installed on the lower guard pipe 15 are arranged within a range R between the upper end of the headrest 11a and the upper end of the operation lever 12a in the vertical direction. That is, in the hydraulic excavator 1 of the present embodiment, the holders 16 are provided only within the range R and are not provided below the range R. The operator can fix the pulled-out state of the screen 13a by fitting the bar 13b into the holder 16 so that the lower end of the screen 13a pulled out from the winding device 13c is located above the operation lever 12a, and thus use the sunshade 13. Thereby, when the operator sits on the seat 11 and operates the operation lever 12a, the direct sunlight within the range visible to the operator can be effectively shielded by the screen 13a, and the screen 13a fixed by the holder 16 can be prevented from entering the operation range of the operation lever 12a. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the operation of the operation lever 12a from being hindered by the sunshade 13 and prevent the operator from making an incorrect operation when using the sunshade 13.
[0026] Also, in the guard pipe 15, the holder 16 is provided at a position in front of the rear end portion of the seat 11 (the rear end portion of the headrest 11a) and closer to the rear end portion of the seat 11 than the operation lever 12a. This enables the operator seated on the seat 11 to easily attach and detach the bar 13b to and from the holder 16. Also, for the operator seated on the seat 11, since the holder 16 is located on the front side of the operation lever 12a, it is possible to prevent the operator from accidentally touching the operation lever 12a when attaching and detaching the bar 13b, and avoid the occurrence of misoperations.
[0027] Figure 4 is an enlarged view of the holder 16. In Figure 4, (a) shows a state where the bar 13b is not fitted into the holder 16, and (b) shows a state where the bar 13b is fitted into the holder 16. Also, (c) shows a portion of the holder 16 hidden by the screen 13a by virtually making the screen 13a translucent in a state where the bar 13b is fitted into the holder 16.
[0028] As shown in Figure 4, a claw portion 16a protruding inward is provided at the portion of the holder 16 into which the bar 13b is fitted. Due to this claw portion 16a, the portion of the bar 13b fitted into the holder 16 that abuts against the claw portion 16a becomes the portion to be fixed, and the bar 13b is fixed. Note that the shape of the claw portion 16a is adjusted so that the bar 13b can be easily attached and detached to and from the holder 16 while ensuring that the bar 13b fitted into the holder 16 is securely fixed.
[0029] According to one embodiment of the present invention described above, the following operational effects are achieved.
[0030] (1) The hydraulic excavator 1, which is a construction machine, includes a cab 10, a seat 11 installed in the cab 10 and having a headrest 11a, operation levers 12a and 12b arranged on the side portions of the seat 11 and operated by an operator, and a sunshade 13 arranged at the side window portion 14 of the cab 10. The sunshade 13 has a sheet-like screen 13a and a winding device 13c that winds the screen 13a in a roll shape at a position above the headrest 11a. The screen 13a can be pulled out downward from the winding device 13c, and the pulled-out state of the screen 13a pulled out from the winding device 13c is fixed such that its lower end portion (bar 13b) is positioned above the operation lever 12a. By doing so, it is possible to prevent malfunction in the hydraulic excavator 1 equipped with the sunshade 13 in the cab 10.
[0031] (2) The pulled-out state of the screen 13a pulled out from the winding device 13c is fixed such that its lower end portion is positioned below the upper end of the headrest 11a. By doing so, when the operator sits on the seat 11 and operates the operation lever 12a, direct sunlight within the range that enters the operator's field of view can be effectively shielded by the screen 13a.
[0032] (3) The pulled-out state of the screen 13a pulled out from the winding device 13c is fixed by a holder 16 provided in the cab 10 at its lower end portion. By doing so, the pulled-out state of the screen 13a can be reliably fixed in an appropriate state.
[0033] (4) Inside the side window portion 14 of the cab 10, a guard pipe 15 for protecting the operator is provided, and the lower end portion of the screen 13a pulled out from the winding device 13c is fixed by a holder 16 provided on the guard pipe 15. Specifically, the guard pipe 15 is provided with the holder 16 as a fixing tool, and the screen 13a pulled out from the winding device 13c is fixed to the holder 16 by fixing the fixed portion provided on the bar 13b at the lower end portion thereof, thereby fixing the pulled-out state. By doing so, the pulled-out state of the screen 13a in the sunshade 13 can be surely fixed by using the guard pipe 15 provided in the cab 10. Therefore, an additional member for fixing the pulled-out state of the screen 13a is not required, and it is possible to avoid the operator's field of vision from being blocked more than necessary.
[0034] (5) The holder 16 is provided at a position in front of the rear end portion of the seat 11 and closer to the rear end portion of the seat 11 than the operation lever 12a. That is, inside the side window portion 14 of the cab 10, a guard pipe 15 for protecting the operator is provided, and on this guard pipe 15, at a position in front of the rear end portion of the seat 11 and closer to the rear end portion of the seat than the operation lever 12a, a holder 16 for fixing the fixed portion of the bar 13b is provided. By doing so, the operator seated on the seat 11 can easily attach and detach the bar 13b to and from the holder 16, and prevent the operator from accidentally touching the operation lever 12a when attaching and detaching the bar 13b, thereby avoiding the occurrence of an incorrect operation.
[0035] In the above-described embodiment, the hydraulic excavator 1 has been described as an example of the construction machine to which the present invention is applied. However, the present invention may be applied to other construction machines. The present invention is applicable to any type of construction machine as long as an operation lever is arranged near the side window portion of the cab and a sunshade is arranged above this operation lever. On the other hand, for example, in the case of a general automobile or the like where there is no operating device that may interfere with the sunshade arranged at the side window portion of the cab, since an incorrect operation due to the sunshade cannot occur, there is no need to apply the present invention.
[0036] Also, in the embodiment described above, a holder 16 is provided on the guard pipe 15 installed in the cab 10, and the bar 13b is fixed to this holder 16 to fix the pulled-out state of the screen 13a. However, the pulled-out state of the screen 13a may be fixed by other methods. For example, one or more guide members are provided on the sunshade 13 along the pulling-out direction of the screen 13a. By making the screen 13a easily pullable by this guide member and making it possible to fix the screen 13a at an arbitrary position of the guard member, the pulled-out state of the screen 13a may be fixed. In addition to this, it is possible to fix the pulled-out state of the screen 13a using any method.
[0037] As described above, the embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail. However, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various design changes can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention described in the claims. For example, the above-described embodiments have been described in detail for easy understanding of the present invention, and are not necessarily limited to those having all the configurations described. Also, a part of the configuration of one embodiment can be replaced with the configuration of another embodiment, and it is also possible to add the configuration of another embodiment to the configuration of one embodiment. Furthermore, it is possible to add, delete, or replace a part of the configuration of each embodiment with other configurations.
