Abstract
To provide a small-size light-emitting device.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device includes: a base part including a mounting surface on which a plurality of wiring regions are provided; at least one light-emitting element disposed on the mounting surface and including a first light-emitting element having a rectangular shape having a short side and a long side in a top view; a protection element disposed on the mounting surface; and a wiring having a linear shape with both ends as joint parts. The wiring region includes a first wiring region in which the protection element is disposed, and the wiring includes a first wiring electrically connecting the first wiring region and the first light-emitting element. The first wiring includes a first bonding part bonded to the first wiring region, and in the top view, the first bonding part is provided on a side on which the first light-emitting element is provided with a first virtual straight line including a side closest to the light-emitting element among sides of the protective element as a boundary.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
