Claims

1. A beverage having a glucomoringin content of 0.001 to 0.030 w / v%, an acidity of 0.01 to 0.50 w / v%, and a sweetener content in sucrose equivalent of 4.0 to 6.1 w / v%.

2. The beverage according to claim 1, wherein the acidity is 0.05 to 0.50 w / v%.

3. The beverage according to claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the sweetener comprises at least one from the group consisting of fructose, glucose, galactose, sucrose, maltose, and lactose.

4. A beverage according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the alcohol content is less than 1 v / v%.

5. A method for producing a beverage, comprising the steps of setting the glucomoringin content to 0.001 to 0.030 w / v%, the acidity to 0.01 to 0.50 w / v%, and the sucrose equivalent content of the sweetener to 4.0 to 6.1 w / v%.

6. A method for improving the flavor of a beverage having a glucomoringin content of 0.001 to 0.030 w / v% and an acidity of 0.01 to 0.50 w / v%, wherein the pungent acidity is reduced. A method for improving the flavor of a beverage, comprising the step of adjusting the sucrose content of the beverage to 4.0 to 6.1 w / v%.
