[0003] Field of the Invention
[0004] The present invention relates to a machine used in all machining processes for rootdiameter surface treatment, more particularly in the machining of the root-diameter region between the blade / blisk (air foil) and platform parts of IBR-Blisk parts in aviation engines.
[0005] In particular, the invention relates to a deburring and surface polishing machine for the deburring and surface polishing of the root diameter area, which enables the deburring and surface polishing operations to be carried out by means of an industrial robot in standardised production without damaging the diameter size.
[0006] State of the Art
[0007] In the monolithic fan rotors, also called IBR (integrally bladed rotors) or blisk in aviation engines, the deburring and surface polishing process is applied in the root diameter area between the blade (air foil) part and the platform parts.
[0008] In current applications, deburring and surface polishing operations of the root diameter area between the air foil and platform parts of the IBR-Blisk parts are performed by manual labour. Due to the dependence of these processes on manual labour, the dimensional and surface quality standards of these parts vary for each blade and standard production cannot be ensured. In addition, due to manual workmanship, there are cases where parts go out of size, break down and end up being scrapped. For this reason, a need has arisen for a machine that eliminates the human labor force of deburring and surface polishing operations of the root diameter region in the state of the art.
[0009] As a result of the aforementioned issues and the limited supply of available solutions, it became necessary to carry out an improvement in the relevant technical field. Object of the Invention
[0010] The present invention relates to a deburring and surface processing machine which eliminates the abovementioned disadvantages and brings new advantages to the relevant technical field.
[0011] The main object of the present invention is to produce a machine that enables the deburring and surface polishing operations of the root diameter area to be carried out with standard production without damaging the diameter size by applying it through an industrial robot.
[0012] The object of the present invention is to create a machine that eliminates human labor in the deburring and surface polishing operations of the root diameter area.
[0013] Another object of the present invention is to produce a machine that eliminates the problems experienced in the dimensional and surface quality standards of the parts in the deburring and surface polishing processes of the root diameter region.
[0014] Another object of the present invention is to produce a machine that can be used by integrating it into the industrial robot on the robotic deburring machine.
[0015] In order to fulfil all the above-mentioned and detailed description, the invention is a deburring and surface processing machine used in the machining stage of the root diameter region between the blade / blisk (air foil) part and the platform parts of the IBR-Blisk parts in aviation engines, it comprises the following;

[0017] - strip sanding tool that can take the diameter form and perform deburring of the root diameter area,
[0018] - strip scotch tool that can take the diameter form and perform the surface polishing of the root diameter area,
[0019] - punch unit that cuts the edges of the sanding tool and scotch tool,
[0020] - drilling unit that drills the centre area of the scotch tool, a sharpening unit that gives the tool its diameter form.
[0021] The structural and characteristic features of the present invention will be understood clearly by the following drawings and the detailed description made with reference to these drawings. Therefore the evaluation shall be made by taking these figures and the detailed description into consideration.

[0037] In this detailed description, the preferred alternatives of the inventive deburring and surface processing machine are described only for clarifying the subject manner such that no limiting effect is created.
[0038] Disassembled view of the deburring and surface processing machine of the present invention is given in Figure 1. Accordingly, the deburring and surface processing machine in its most basic form comprises the following; the tool (10) integrated into the robot in the robotic deburring machine, the strip sanding tool (20) that can take the diameter form, the strip scotch tool (30) that can take the diameter form, the punch unit (40) that cuts the edges of the sanding tool (20) and the scotch tool (30), the drilling unit (50) that drills the middle region of the scotch tool (30), the sharpening unit (60) that gives the scotch tool (30) the diameter form.
[0039] The tool (10) shown in Figure 1 is adapted to the robot in the robotic deburring machine and the robot performs the deburring and surface processing of the root diameter region between the blade / blisk (air foil) and platform parts of the IBR-Blisk parts.
[0040] The sanding tool (20), which is shown in Figure 2 and supplied in the form of a strip, is cut from its edges by means of the punch unit (40) and becomes capable of taking form in the diameter area and takes its form without damaging the diameter. With this process, deburring of the root diameter region is performed. After this process, any unwanted surfaces such as tool marks, sets, etc. in the diameter area are cleaned.
[0041] The scotch tool (30), which is shown in Figure 3 and supplied in strip form, is cut from the edges by means of the punch unit (40). After the scotch tool (30) is cut, holes are drilled at equal intervals in the centre of the scotch tool (30) by means of the drilling unit (50). Since the drilling process is carried out by means of a hot drill, both the hole is drilled and the drilled hole is re-welded within its own diameter and takes the shape of a plastic ring. With the help of these holes, when the tool (10) is connected to the robot, the scotch tool (30) stretches from the centre and extends in length and takes the form of a diameter. After the scotch tool (30) is drilled, it is sharpened by the robot in the sharpening unit (60) integrated into the robotic deburring unit. In this way, it is sharpened as much as desired by the user and brought to the diameter size of the part. With these processes, the surface polishing of the root diameter area is performed. After this process, the desired level of surface quality is obtained in the diameter area.
[0042] The tool (10), sanding tool (20), scotch tool (30), punch unit (40), drilling unit (50) and sharpening unit (60) used in the deburring and surface processing machine of the present invention can operate on all root-diameter surfaces of different sizes by updating the parts. In the reduced format, the tool (10) part can be changed in different geometric shapes and deburring and surface polishing can be applied for all forms and sizes such as flat, oval, curved, etc. except root-diameter form.
[0043] All types of abrasive can be connected to the sanding tool (20), either in strip form or can be formed in strip form.
[0044] In the tool (10) part of the deburring and surface processing machine of the present invention, there are additional features for different processes such as speed control and pressure control.
