The two-fluid spray device (1) comprises a fixing means for fixing the two-fluid nozzle unit (15) so that the spray direction is toward the liquid storage portion (13).

[0010] The tip tube portion (12) may be connected to the spray flow path (520) directly or via a separate member (for example, a flexible tube 1213).

[0011] (Multi-nozzle unit) When two or more of the at least one bi-fluid nozzle units are provided, two or more bi-fluid nozzle units (151, 152, 153) may be incorporated into the holder (150). Each of the two or more bi-fluid nozzle units is connected to a compressed air pipe (1401a, 1401b). Each of the two or more bi-fluid nozzle units may include a common flow path portion (1601a) that supplies liquid to the liquid flow paths of the bi-fluid nozzle unit. The common flow path portion (1601a) is connected to a liquid supply pipe (16) having one end disposed in the liquid storage portion (13).

[0012] The liquid storage section (13) may have a supply port for supplying liquid from the outside, and the supply port may be provided with a valve or a sealing lid.

[0013] The tip member (15a) of the two-fluid nozzle unit (15) may have a spray opening (1501), and a side wall having a thick portion (1502) and a thin portion (1503).

[0014] The two-fluid spray device (1) may include a guide portion (17) that regulates the two-fluid nozzle unit (15). The front guide portion (17) may be disposed inside the main body cylindrical portion (11) and regulate the liquid supply pipe (16) and the two-fluid nozzle unit (15). "Regulating" refers to, for example, a function such as positioning, locking, or detachable guiding.

[0015] The tip tube portion (12) or the main body tube portion (11) may have an internal opening (122a) having at least one opening. The opening may serve as a passage for rebounded fine particles and have the function of controlling the flow rate and volume. The opening is preferably formed at a position away from the inner wall surface of each tube portion. It is preferable that the opening can prevent liquid from flowing out of the tip tube portion (12) when the main body is turned over on its side.

[0016] The guide portion (17) may be configured to regulate the two-fluid nozzle unit (15) so that the spray direction of the two-fluid nozzle unit (15) is directed toward the liquid surface in the liquid storage portion (13). The guide portion (17) may be disposed inside the main body tubular portion (11), may be configured as a component of the main body tubular portion (11), or may be configured as a separate component.

[0017] The main body cylindrical portion (11) may be connected to or have a compressed air passage (14, 1101a, 1101b) and may have a connection portion (141) (function of the guide portion (17)) that is connected to one part of the two-fluid nozzle unit (15).

[0018] The tubular main body portion (11) may be cylindrical, and the diameter of the central portion in the height direction may be larger or smaller than that of both end portions. Either one of the end portions may have a larger diameter than the other end portion. The tubular main body portion (11) may be composed of multiple parts. For example, the tubular main body portion (11) may have a first part portion (1101) and a second part portion (1102) connected to the first part portion (1101). The first part portion (1101) and the second part portion (1102) may be composed of a single part rather than separate parts, and the first part portion may be referred to as the upper part and the second part portion as the lower part. The first part portion (1101) may be connected to or have a compressed air passage (14, 1101a, 1101b) and may have a connection portion (141) (functioning as a guide portion (17)) that is connected to one part of the two-fluid nozzle unit (15). This forms a flow path for supplying compressed air to the two-fluid nozzle unit (15). The first part (1101) has an internal opening (1101c, 1101d) having at least one opening, and may be connected to the tip tube part (12). The second part (1102) may be connected to the liquid storage part (13). The second part (1102) may be configured to contact the liquid supply pipe (16) and guide the liquid toward the liquid storage part (13). The second part (1102) may have a first sub-part (1102a) and a second sub-part (1102b) connected to the first sub-part (1102a). The connecting part between the first sub-part (1102a) and the second sub-part (1102b) may have a larger diameter than the other parts, and the other parts may have smaller diameters. The opening of the liquid storage portion (13) connected to the second sub-part (1102b) may be smaller than the interior of the liquid storage portion (13). A portion of the liquid supply pipe (16) may be in contact with the inner wall surface of the main body tubular portion (11) or the first and second sub-parts (1102a, 1102b).

[0019] The main body tubular portion (11) may have one or more intake portions (1105) that allow air to flow in from the outside. The intake portion may be provided in the first part portion (1101) or the second part portion (1102). The intake portion (1105) may be provided in the first sub-part (1102a) or the second sub-part (1102b). An intake adjustment portion (1106) that adjusts the intake portion (1105) to function may be provided. The intake adjustment portion (1106) may be configured to be slidable to block the air inflow of the intake portion (1105). A hollow cylindrical intake adjustment portion (1106) may be configured to be extrapolated to the outside of the cylindrical main body tubular portion (11) and the first and second part portions (1101, 1102), and the intake adjustment portion (1106) may be configured to be rotatable. The intake adjustment section (1106) may have a long hole (1106a), and the inlet (1105a) of the intake section (1105) may be positioned at the position of this long hole to allow intake, and the intake volume may be restricted by sliding the long hole to close the inlet (1105a).

[0020] The inlet (1105a) of the intake section (1105) may be provided on the spray direction side (liquid storage section (13) side) of the tip section (15a) of the bifluid nozzle unit (15), on the horizontal side (almost to the side) of the tip section (15a), or on the opposite side of the spray direction (tip tube section (12) side) of the tip section (15a), and the outlet (1105b) of the intake section may be provided near the tip section (15a) of the bifluid nozzle unit (15). When the outlet (1105b) is provided on the opposite side of the spray direction (tip tube section (12) side) of the tip section (15a) of the bifluid nozzle unit (15), even if liquid enters the intake section (1105) from the liquid storage section (13) when the unit is overturned, the liquid is likely to flow downward into the liquid storage section (13) due to gravity when the unit is turned upside down. The tip portion (15a) may be disposed in the first internal space (1104a) of the main body tubular portion (11) and the first and second part portions (1101, 1102), and may have second internal spaces (1104b, 1104c) that are larger in volume than the first internal space (1104a) in the spray direction. The spray flow from the tip portion (15a) of the bi-fluid nozzle unit (15) draws air through the intake portion (1105), increasing the pressure inside the entire bi-fluid nozzle unit (15), thereby increasing the amount of gas ejected from the bi-fluid nozzle unit (15) and increasing the spray volume. By arranging one or more intake portions and their outlet positions in the small first internal space where the nozzle jet has the fastest (initial velocity), it is possible to spray the required amount of even viscous fluids in a fine manner even at low air pressure (using a small, energy-efficient compressor).

[0021] The liquid supply pipe (16) may be an elastic flexible tube, may be made of hard resin, or may be partially made of hard resin.

[0022] The tip tube portion (12) may be configured, for example, to have a portion whose cylindrical opening cross-sectional area is smaller than the opening cross-sectional area of the main body portion (11), and the tip side may have a tapered cross-section, or the cross-section of the cylindrical opening may become smaller toward the tip, or may become smaller in stages. The tip tube portion (12) may be connected to an elastic flexible tube, or may be configured of an elastic flexible tube. Each opening may have a circular or polygonal cross-section. The cross-sectional area of the internal passage of the flexible tube may be smaller or larger than the cross-sectional area of the opening at the outlet of the tip tube portion (12). The cross-sectional area of the internal passage of the flexible tube may be smaller or larger than the cross-sectional area of the opening of the main body portion (11).

[0023] The liquid storage portion (13) may be configured to be detachable from the main body tubular portion (11) using an insert engagement means, a one-touch engagement means, a screw engagement means, or the like. A sealing member may be provided to ensure tight contact at the connection of each portion. The liquid storage portion (13) may be provided with an openable / closable opening for supplying liquid from the outside.

[0024] One end of the liquid supply pipe (16) may be arranged below the liquid storage section (13), and is preferably arranged below the liquid surface at least in the spray state.

[0026] The two-fluid spray device (1) may further include an internal opening (e.g., 1201a, 1101c, 1101d, 122a) having at least one opening provided on the tip tube portion (12) or the tip tube portion (12) side of the main body tube portion (11). The tip tube portion (12) and the internal opening (e.g., 1201a, 1101c, 1101d, 122a) may be separate members or may be configured as an integrated member. The main body tube portion (11) and the internal opening (e.g., 1201a, 1101c, 1101d, 122a) may be separate members or may be configured as an integrated member. The main body tube portion (11), the tip tube portion (12), and the internal opening (e.g., 1201a, 1101c, 1101d, 122a) may be separate members or may be configured as an integrated member. The main body tubular portion (11) and the liquid storage portion (13) may be separate components or may be formed as an integrated component. A linear or elbow-shaped tip outlet portion (121) may be provided at the spray-side tip of the tip tubular portion (12). The tip outlet portion (121) may have a spray outlet (121a) with a cross-section smaller than that of the tip tubular portion (12). The main body tubular portion (11) or the tip tubular portion (12) may be connected to a tip portion (500) having two or more protruding openings (501) at the tip in the spray direction. The two or more protruding openings (501) may be arranged in series (comb-like) or randomly. The longitudinal length of the protruding openings may be, for example, 5 mm or more and 100 mm or less. The maximum width of the longitudinal cross-section of the protruding openings (diameter if cylindrical) may be, for example, 1 mm or more and 10 mm or less. The longitudinal shape of the protruding opening may be a hollow cylinder or a hollow polygonal column. The protruding opening may have a spray nozzle at its longitudinal tip, or may have one or more spray nozzles on its side at any position in the longitudinal direction.

[0027] The two-fluid spray device (1) may include a baffle section (18) having a collision surface (181) on which fine particles sprayed from the two-fluid nozzle unit (15) collide. The collision surface (181) may have, for example, a flat, concave, or convex shape. The baffle section (181) may be provided with at least one slit section (182) through which the colliding fine particles (as droplets) pass to the liquid collection section (13) below the baffle section. When the collision surface (181) is a flat surface, the fine particles may collide and liquefy over time to form a liquid film of a predetermined thickness (e.g., approximately 0.1 mm to 2 mm). When the collision surface (181) is a concave surface, it may have a concave shape in which each fine particle collides approximately perpendicularly in accordance with the shape of the spray pattern. When the collision surface (181) is a convex surface, it may have a surface on which the collision force between the fine particles and the surface is strong and a surface on which the collision force is weak.

[0028] The two-fluid spray device (1) may have a spray outlet (121a, 125a) with a cross section smaller than that of the main body tubular portion (11) or the tip tubular portion (12). The tip tubular portion (12) may have a spray outlet (121a, 125a) with a cross section larger or smaller than that of the main body tubular portion (11) (e.g., a circular cross section, a polygonal cross section, etc.). The inner diameter (D2) of the spray outlet may be, for example, 1 mm to 30 mm in diameter. The outer diameter (D1) of the spray outlet may also be small. For example, by forming the spray outlet outer diameter (D1) to be elongated, fine particles can be suitably sent to a small opening.

[0029] The compressor for sending compressed air to the bi-fluid nozzle unit (15) is not particularly limited. The bi-fluid nozzle unit (15) includes at least two gas injection units for injecting compressed air and one liquid injection unit for injecting liquid. The bi-fluid nozzle unit (15) is configured such that gases injected from the gas injection units collide with each other forward of the tip of the liquid injection unit to form a collision zone or a portion including the collision zone, and the liquid injected from the liquid injection unit collides with the collision zone, thereby atomizing the liquid. The bi-fluid nozzle is preferably configured as a device disclosed in Japanese Patent Nos. 5,140,712, 5,261,367, and 5,971,640. The liquid injected from the liquid injection unit may be sprayed by being sucked up by the gas (compressed air) injected from the two gas injection units due to the siphon effect.

[0030] The two-fluid spray device (1) comprises a main body tubular portion (11), a tip tubular portion (12) provided at one end of the main body tubular portion (11), a liquid storage portion (13) provided at the other end of the main body tubular portion (11) and storing a liquid that is a spray raw material, a compressed air passage (or compressed air piping) (14) provided in the main body tubular portion (11), at least one two-fluid nozzle unit (15) connected to the compressed air passage (14) and arranged so that the spray direction is toward the liquid storage portion (13), a liquid supply piping (16) that supplies the liquid in the liquid storage portion (13) to a liquid flow path of the two-fluid nozzle unit (15), and one or more intake portions (1105) provided in the main body tubular portion (11) that can introduce air from the outside. An intake adjustment portion (1106) that adjusts the intake portion (1105) to function may be provided.

[0031] The tip tube portion (12) has an upper opening (1251) and a side opening (1252), and the two-fluid spray device (1) may have an adapter (1261) connectable to the upper opening (1251) and the side opening (1252), and a closing portion (1263) for closing the upper opening (1251) and the side opening (1252). The adapter (1261) may have an internal protruding pipe portion (1261a) that protrudes into the internal space of the tip tube portion (12). Because the internal protruding pipe portion (1261a) is configured to protrude into the internal space of the tip tube portion (12), even if the two-fluid spray device (1) falls over, it is possible to prevent liquid from flowing through the tip tube portion (12).

[0032] The two-fluid spray device (1) may include a switch unit that starts and stops the compressor (spraying), a timer that measures the time from the start to the stop of the compressor (spraying), a drive time setting unit that can preset the compressor drive time (operating time), and a stop control unit that stops the compressor (stops spraying) when the time measured by the timer reaches the drive time set by the drive time setting unit. The compressor drive (spraying) time may be set according to the charge for use. The liquid storage unit (13) may be a cartridge type or a disposable type and may be configured to store a liquid agent equivalent to the amount used per time. This configuration allows users to freely select a liquid agent at any store and receive it for use in minutes.

[0033] The raw material for the compressed air is not particularly limited, but examples thereof include air, purified air (clean air), nitrogen, inert gas, fuel-mixed air, oxygen, etc., and can be appropriately selected depending on the purpose of use.

[0034] The liquid is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include liquid preparations such as water (e.g., pure water, ion-exchanged water), cosmetics, hair preparations, hair growth preparations, hair treatment preparations, scalp treatment preparations (scalp preparations), treatment preparations for animal (e.g., pet) hair, treatment preparations for animal skin, and skin medications.

A connection portion 141 of the compressed air passage 14 located inside the main body tube portion 11 is connected to a bi-fluid nozzle unit 15. The bi-fluid nozzle unit 15 is positioned so that its spray direction is toward the liquid storage portion 13. The liquid leakage prevention ring portion 122 functions as a stopper to prevent the liquid in the liquid storage portion 13 from flowing further toward the tip when the two-fluid spray device 1 is tilted sideways. The liquid leakage prevention ring portion 122 has an opening 122a in its center that serves as a passage for fine particles.

[0044] The liquid storage unit 13 has a cone-shaped inner bottom 131 and legs 132 for standing stably. The liquid supply pipe 16 connects the inner bottom 131 of the liquid storage unit 13 to an internal liquid flow path (not shown) of the two-fluid nozzle unit 15, and supplies the liquid in the liquid storage unit 13 to the two-fluid nozzle unit 15. The legs 132 may or may not be present.

[0045] 1 and 4A is disposed inside the main body tube portion 11. The one liquid injection unit 71 is connected to an internal liquid flow path that is connected to the liquid supply pipe 16, and liquid is injected through the two gas injection units 61, 62. A collision zone 65 is formed by colliding compressed air 611, 621 injected from the two gas injection units 61, 62 forward of the tip of the liquid injection unit 71, or a portion including the collision zone 65, with the liquid 711 sprayed by the liquid injection unit 71. This atomizes the liquid and produces a mist F that is sprayed forward in the spray direction. The angle formed by the injection directions of the two gas injection units 61, 62 is preferably between 90 degrees and 180 degrees.

[0047] (Operation) Compressed air is sent to the bi-fluid nozzle unit 15 through the compressed air piping 14. Due to the siphon (negative pressure) effect, the liquid in the liquid storage section 13 is sent to the bi-fluid nozzle unit 15 through the liquid supply piping 16. The mist F sprayed from the bi-fluid nozzle unit 15 heads toward the liquid surface in the liquid storage section 13, hits the liquid surface, and bounces off. As it bounces off the liquid surface, fine particles with larger particle diameters in the mist F are more likely to liquefy, while fine particles with smaller particle diameters are more likely to bounce off. The mist F is less likely to form droplets even when it comes into contact with the inner wall surfaces of the guide section 17, main body tubular section 11, tip tubular section 12, etc. Even if the wall surfaces become wet, the downward air purging causes the mist to fall into the liquid storage section 13, thereby reducing liquid loss.

[0048] (Embodiment 2) Another two-fluid spray device 1 will be described with reference to Fig. 2. The same components as those in embodiment 1 (Fig. 1) are designated by the same reference numerals, and their description will be omitted or simplified.

[0049] The two-fluid spray device 1 is provided with a baffle section 18 below the guide section 17 and above the liquid level in the liquid storage section 13. The baffle section 18 shown in Figures 2 and 4B is a flat surface that includes a collision surface 181 that collides with the fine particles sprayed from the two-fluid nozzle unit 15 and gradually liquefies to form a liquid film of a predetermined thickness, and at least one slit section 182 that allows liquid that exceeds the predetermined thickness to fall from the collision surface 181 into the liquid storage section 13 below. In this embodiment, three slit sections 182 are provided. The predetermined thickness of the liquid film is, for example, 0.1 mm to 2 mm or less.

[0050] 4C shows another embodiment of the baffle portion 18. The baffle portion (convex surface) of this embodiment has a convex-shaped collision portion 181a and an outer peripheral edge portion 184. Also, the baffle portion (concave surface) of this embodiment has a concave-shaped collision portion 181b and an outer peripheral edge portion 184. Although not shown, the collision surface 181 may be a surface on which one or more convex surfaces and one or more concave surfaces are formed.

[0051] (Operation) Compressed air is sent to the bi-fluid nozzle unit 15 through the compressed air piping 14. Due to the siphon (negative pressure) effect, the liquid in the liquid storage section 13 is sent to the bi-fluid nozzle unit 15 through the liquid supply piping 16. The mist F sprayed from the bi-fluid nozzle unit 15 heads toward the collision surface 181 of the baffle section 18, where it collides with the collision surface 181, liquefying a portion of the mist and forming a liquid film. The mist that does not form a liquid film bounces back. The mist collides with the formed liquid film and bounces back. This bounce back from the collision surface and the liquid film makes it easier for larger particles of the mist F to liquefy, while smaller particles bounce back. Even when the mist comes into contact with the inner wall surfaces of the guide section 17, main body tubular section 11, tip tubular section 12, etc., it is less likely to form droplets. Even if the wall surfaces become wet, the downward air purge causes the mist to fall into the baffle section 18 and liquid storage section 13, thereby reducing liquid loss. Since the distance between the two-fluid nozzle unit 15 and the baffle portion 18 is constant, the influence of the rebound effect of the mist caused by changes in the liquid level position in the liquid containing portion 13 is small.

[0052] (Shape of Spray Outlet) The spray outlet in FIGS. 1 and 2 is a fine particle outlet 121a formed in an elbow-shaped tip outlet 121. Another embodiment of a spray outlet is shown in FIG. 10. The spray outlet shown in FIG. 10 is a thin, elongated spray outlet 125a with a circular cross section, provided at the tip of the tip outlet 121. The outer diameter D1 of the thin, elongated spray outlet 125a is, for example, 2 mm to 5 mm, and its inner diameter D2 is 1 mm to 3 mm (<outer diameter D1). The thin length (L) is set depending on the purpose of spraying and is, for example, 5 mm to 2 m. The thin, elongated spray outlet 125a may be formed from a flexible tube. In FIG. 10, an attachment 125 is provided at the fine particle outlet 121a of the tip outlet 121, and the thin, elongated spray outlet 125a is formed at the tip of the attachment 125. The tip outlet 121 and the attachment 125 may be integrally formed or may be formed as separate members. In the case where they are separate members, they may be configured to be detachable. The attachment portion 125 and the elongated spray outlet portion 125a may be directly connected (detachably connected) to the tip tube portion 12 without using the tip outlet portion 121.

[0053] (Filling and Refilling with Liquid) When initially filling or refilling the liquid storage portion 13 with liquid, the detachable connecting portions of each component can be removed and the liquid can be filled into the liquid storage portion 13. For example, the liquid storage portion 13 may be removed from the tubular main body portion 11 and filled with liquid. The tip tubular portion 12 may be removed from the tubular main body portion 11 and liquid may be filled from top to bottom. The detachable connecting portion may be, for example, a screw type or a locking type. A rubber member may be interposed between the connecting member to prevent air leakage. Alternatively, a through hole and a cap that covers the through hole may be provided on the side of the liquid storage portion 13 or the tubular main body portion 11, and the cap may be opened to fill the liquid through the through hole.

[0054] (Embodiment 3) Another two-fluid spray device 1 will be described using Figure 11. The same components as in Embodiment 1 (Figure 1) are designated by the same reference numerals, and their descriptions will be omitted or simplified. The main body tubular portion 11 has a first part 1101 and a second part 1102 connected to the first part 1101. The first part 1101 has compressed air passages 1101a and 1101b connected to the compressed air piping 14. A connector 1103 is connected to the compressed air passage 1101b extending downward from the first part 1101, and is connected to one part of the two-fluid nozzle unit 15. This forms a flow path for supplying compressed air to the two-fluid nozzle unit 15. The first part 1101 has two internal openings 1101c and 1101d. The first part 1101 is connected to the tip tube portion 12, and rebound fine particles are sent to the tip tube portion 12 via the internal openings 1101c and 1101d. The tip tube portion 12 has a first opening 1201a and a second opening 1201b. Fine particles sent through the internal openings 1101c and 1101d are then sent to the outside through the first opening 1201a and the second opening 1201b. The second part 1102 is connected to the liquid storage portion 13. The second part 1102 comes into contact with the liquid supply pipe 16 and guides it toward the liquid storage portion 13. The liquid supply pipe 16 is bent at a nearly right angle but is positioned so as not to be blocked. The tip member 15a of the two-fluid nozzle unit 15 has a spray opening 1501, and a thick-walled portion 1502 and a thin-walled portion 1503 in the side wall.

[0055] When compressed air is sprayed from the two-fluid nozzle unit 15, liquid is sucked from the liquid storage portion 13 via the liquid supply pipe 16, and the liquid is finely divided (atomized) by the compressed air from two directions, and sprayed from the two-fluid nozzle unit 15 into the liquid storage portion 13. The mist rebounds on the liquid surface (or the baffle surface), flows upward through the penetrations in each member to the tip tube portion 12, and is sprayed from the tip tube portion 12 to the outside.

[0056] (Embodiment 4) Another two-fluid spray device 1 will be described using Figure 12. The same components as those in embodiment 1 (Figure 1) and embodiment 3 (Figure 11) are designated by the same reference numerals, and their description will be omitted or simplified. The first part 1101 is connected to the tip tube portion 12. The tip tube portion 12 has a first member 1211 and a second member 1212. The first member 1211 has an opening 1211a that protrudes downward and inward. The second member 1212 has a tip portion 1212a at its tip and is connected to a flexible tube 1213. The first member 1211 and the second member 1212 may be a combination of separate members or may be an integrated member.

[0057] (Embodiment 5) Another two-fluid spray device 1 will be described using Figure 13. The same components as those in Embodiment 1 (Figure 1) and Embodiment 3 (Figure 11) are designated by the same reference numerals, and their descriptions will be omitted or simplified. The main body tube portion 11 is cylindrical, with a larger diameter at the center in the height direction than at both ends. The first part 1101 has an internal opening 1101e. The second part 1102 has a first subpart 1102a and a second subpart 1102b connected to the first subpart 1102a. The connecting portion between the first subpart 1102a and the second subpart 1102b has a larger cylindrical diameter than the remaining portions, while the remaining portions have smaller cylindrical diameters. The opening 1301a of the liquid storage portion 13 connected to the second subpart 1102b is smaller in diameter than the interior 1301b. A portion 161 of the liquid supply pipe 16 contacts the inner wall surfaces of the first and second subparts 1102a and 1102b and is guided downward. By contacting the wall surface, the passage for the particles can be made larger.

[0058] Sixth Embodiment Two or more multi-nozzles used in another two-fluid spray device will be described with reference to Figure 14. Three two-fluid nozzle units 151, 152, and 153 are incorporated into a holder 150. Each of the three two-fluid nozzle units 151, 152, and 153 is connected to compressed air pipes 1401a and 1401b. Each of the three two-fluid nozzle units 151 and 152 has a common flow path portion 1601a that supplies liquid to the liquid flow paths of the two-fluid nozzle unit. The common flow path portion 1601a is connected to a liquid supply pipe 16, one end of which is disposed in the liquid storage portion 13.

[0059] (Embodiment 7) In the two-fluid spray device 1 of embodiment 7 shown in Figure 16, three intake sections 1105 are provided in the second sub-part 1102b. The same components as those in embodiment 1 (Figure 1) and embodiment 3 (Figure 11) are designated by the same reference numerals, and their descriptions will be omitted or simplified. The intake adjustment section 1106 is configured to slide and block the air inflow of the intake section 1105. The intake adjustment section 1106 is configured to be hollow cylindrical and inserted outside the cylindrical second sub-part 1102b. The intake adjustment section 1106 is configured to be rotatable around the second sub-part 1102b. The intake adjustment section 1106 has an elongated hole 1106a, and air can be taken in when the inlets 1105a of the three intake sections 1105 are positioned at the position of this elongated hole 1106a. The intake amount can be restricted by rotating and sliding the long hole 1106a to selectively close one, two, or three of the three inlets 1105a.

[0060] The second subpart 1102b defines an internal space toward the nozzle tip 15a and the spray direction. The second subpart 1102b has a first internal space 1104a in which the nozzle tip 15a is disposed and a third internal space 1104c that is larger in volume than the first internal space 1104a in the spray direction. The second internal space 1104b is disposed between the cylindrical first internal space 1104a and the cylindrical third internal space 1104c, and is configured to widen in a truncated cone shape in the spray direction. This shape is not limited to this, and the second and third internal spaces may be configured so that the internal spaces gradually widen from the first internal space in which the nozzle tip 15a is disposed toward the liquid storage section 13. The mist sprayed within these internal spaces is directed downward.

[0061] In Fig. 16(a), the tip tube portion 12 has an upper opening 1251 to which an adapter 1261 is connected. In Fig. 16(b), the adapter 1261 is connected to the upper opening 1251, and a blocking portion 1263 is provided at the side opening 1252. The adapter 1261 has an internally protruding pipe portion 1261a that protrudes into the internal space of the tip tube portion 12. Because the internally protruding pipe portion 1261a is configured to protrude into the internal space of the tip tube portion 12, even if the two-fluid spray device 1 falls over, it is possible to prevent the liquid from leaking out through the tip tube portion 12 to the outside. The adapter 1261 is connected to the spray flow path 520 and the brush body 500 via a flexible tube 1213.

[0062] (Embodiment 8) The two-fluid spray device 1 of embodiment 8 shown in Figure 17 has three intake sections 1105 facing (a) downward, (b) sideways, and (c) upward. The same components as those of embodiment 1 (Figure 1) and embodiment 3 (Figure 11) are designated by the same reference numerals, and their explanations will be omitted or simplified. In the case of (a) facing downward, even if liquid enters the intake section 1105 from the liquid storage section 13 when the unit is overturned, the liquid will easily flow due to gravity into the lower liquid storage section 13 when the unit is turned upside down.

[0063] 18(a) and 18(b) show a two-fluid spray device 1 according to a ninth embodiment, which has a spray outlet defined laterally from the tip tube portion 12. An adapter 1261 is connected to the side opening 1252, and a blocking portion 1263 closes the upper opening 1251. The adapter 1261 is connected to the spray flow path 520 and the brush body 500 via a flexible tube 1213. Figure 18(a) shows the intake portion 1105 facing upward, and (b) shows the intake portion 1105 facing downward.

[0064] (Other embodiments) (1) The tip tube portion 12 and the anti-leakage ring 122 may be separate members or may be configured as an integrated member. The main body tube portion 11 and the anti-leakage ring 122 may be separate members or may be configured as an integrated member. The main body tube portion 11, the tip tube portion 12, and the anti-leakage ring 122 may be separate members or may be configured as an integrated member. (2) The main body tube portion 11 and the liquid storage portion 13 may be separate members or may be configured as an integrated member. (3) The tip outlet portion 121 may be omitted. The tip outlet portion 121 is not limited to an elbow shape. (4) Each component may be configured as a plastic molded product, may be partially configured as an elastic material, or may be partially configured as a metal.

[0065] Example 1 Various spray tests were conducted on the two-fluid spray device 1 configured in embodiment 1 as follows. (1) Relationship between air pressure and average particle diameter (Fig. 5) Air pressure (discharge pressure): 20 kPa to 100 kPa Liquid surface collision distance: 50 mm (constant) Air volume: 0.77 NL / min to 1.97 NL / min Average particle diameter (SMD): 3.01 µm to 1.58 µm Liquid: 30 ml of purified tap water was placed in the liquid storage section.

[0066] (2) Relationship between the liquid surface collision distance (nozzle tip to liquid surface) and the average particle diameter (Figure 6) Air pressure (discharge pressure): 20 kPa Liquid surface collision distance: 20 mm to 50 mm Average particle diameter (SMD): 2.02 μm to 2.79 μm (at 20 kPa) Liquid: 30 ml of purified tap water is placed in the liquid storage section.

[0067] (3) Relationship between spray time, spray amount per unit time, and average particle diameter (Figure 7) Air pressure (discharge pressure): 30 kPa Liquid surface collision distance: 20 mm Continuous spray time: 3, 10, 20 minutes Spray amount per minute: 0.03, 0.03, 0.0298 Average particle diameter (SMD): 1.79, 1.75, 1.64 Liquid: 30 ml of purified tap water was placed in the liquid storage section.

[0068] Example 2 Various spray tests were conducted as follows for the two-fluid spray devices 1 configured in the first and second embodiments. (1) Comparison of average particle diameter Air pressure (discharge pressure): 30 kPa Liquid surface collision distance: 30 mm (constant) Air volume: 0.95 NL / min Average particle diameter (SMD): 1.44 μm (first embodiment), 1.25 μm (second embodiment) Liquid: 30 ml of purified tap water was placed in the liquid storage section.

[0069] (2) Relationship between collision distance (from nozzle tip to baffle surface or liquid surface) and average particle diameter (Figure 8) Air pressure (discharge pressure): 50 kPa Liquid surface collision distance: 20 mm, 30 mm, 50 mm Average particle diameter (SMD): 7.24 μm, 8.92 μm, 10.01 μm (Embodiment 1): 4.31 μm, 6.27 μm, 7.08 μm (Embodiment 2) Liquid: 30 ml of purified tap water was placed in the liquid storage section.

[0070] Example 3 A test was conducted on the two-fluid spray device 1 of the first embodiment to examine the relationship between spray outlet diameter, spray volume, and average particle diameter ( FIG. 9 ). Air pressure (discharge pressure): 70 kPa Liquid surface collision distance: 20 mm (constant) Air volume: 1.53 NL / min Spray outlet diameter: 3.0, 7.0, 8.0, 10.0, 15.0 mm Spray volume: 0.053, 0.053, 0.053, 0.054, 0.052 ml / min Average particle diameter (SMD): 2.02 μm, 2.78 μm, 3.01 μm, 3.47 μm, 3.61 μm Liquid: 30 ml of purified tap water was placed in the liquid storage section.

[0071] The results of the above spray tests are shown below. Figure 5 shows that when the liquid surface impingement distance is fixed at 50 mm, the average particle size decreases in proportion to the air pressure. It was also confirmed that a fine spray can be obtained by the rebound effect of the siphoning action of the liquid suction using a small compressor. Figure 6 shows that when the air pressure is fixed at 20 kPa, the average particle size changes little even when the liquid surface impingement distance is changed. Figure 7 shows that the continuous spray volume remains constant. Figure 8 shows that when the impingement distance is changed, the average particle size tends to be smaller when the droplets impinge on the baffle compared to when they impinge on the liquid surface. Figure 9 shows that the smaller the spray outlet, the smaller the average particle size tends to be, even when the spray volume is approximately the same.

[0072] Example 4 A spray experiment from brush A in Fig. 15A is shown. Liquid: LOREAL / Elsev Extraordinary Oil Air pressure: 200 kPa Air volume: 4.60 NL / min Spray volume: 0.03 ml / min Average particle diameter (SMD): 1.23 µm Room temperature: 25°C Liquid temperature: 24°C

[0073] Example 5 A spray experiment from brush A in Fig. 15A is shown. Liquid: Shiseido Clé de Peau Beauté Huile Reparatulis Air pressure: 200 kPa Air volume: 4.60 NL / min Spray volume: 0.05 ml / min Average particle diameter (SMD): 1.38 µm Room temperature: 26°C Liquid temperature: 23°C

[0074] Example 6 A spray experiment from brush A in Fig. 15A is shown. Liquid: Shiseido Richer by Benefique Shiny Hair Oil Air pressure: 200 kPa Air volume: 2.89 NL / min Spray volume: 0.03 ml / min Average particle diameter (SMD): 1.46 µm Room temperature: 24°C Liquid temperature: 23°C

[0075] Example 7: The results of the spray experiment using the two-fluid spray device shown in Figure 16 (upward spray) and Figure 18 (side spray) are shown in Figure 19. The overall evaluation was based on the presence or absence of liquid leakage when the unit was turned upside down, the amount of spray (fog) (0.07 or more), and the average particle size (less than 7 μm), and was scored out of 10. Liquid: Purified water (Test No. 1-24) Air pressure: 50, 100, 150 kPa Number of intake holes: 0, 1, 2, 3 Room temperature: 24°C Liquid temperature: 23°C. As shown in Figure 19, for both upward and side spray, the amount of fog increased and the average particle size decreased in proportion to the number of intake holes, regardless of the three air pressures. Furthermore, no difference was observed between upward and side spray.
